All right, it is Mojo on The Morning Show. We were talking about proposals. Now let's talk about breakups, especially a public breakup. Has anybody ever had a public breakup, like where you broke up and everybody got a chance to witness this thing? And Megan's is interesting. Megan, what did you see?

00:01:49 - 00:02:07 | Speaker 4:

So I saw this on a live stream But this girl was sitting in her car Live streaming her breakup And I Was here for the level of pettiness Let me tell you it was better I know the Oscars are coming up in a couple of weeks I wanted to make a bag of popcorn Because it was better than watching an Oscar movie

00:02:07 - 00:02:11 | Speaker 5:

Question, was she the one breaking up Or was she the one being broken up with?

00:02:11 - 00:02:19 | Speaker 4:

No, she was the one doing the breaking up He was the one trying to keep her And it was sloppy And I was living

00:02:19 - 00:02:23 | Speaker 3:

What did he do that caused for her to want to break up with him? Was it scandalous?

00:02:24 - 00:03:04 | Speaker 4:

It didn't really dive into it, but she only, this is the pettiness I literally strive to have in my life because they were breaking up in a parking lot and she wouldn't even roll her window down fully for it. It was so good. It was only cracked like two or three inches and he kept trying to put his hand in the car to have her kiss his hand goodbye. And she was like, uh, no, I'm not going to do that. And he's like, you're not going to leave until you kiss my hand goodbye. She was like, no, I don't know who you think I am, but that's not going to be happening. And I was like, get it, girl, get it, girl. And at some point there was like 7,500 people watching this girl's breakup. And I was like, what a theatrical masterpiece. Thank you so much. So, so much.

00:03:04 - 00:03:20 | Speaker 6:

You got to love when people will turn towards social media and some sorts to do their breakup. Because when they do it, everybody else gets to see it, and then it gets to show up if you do it on, let me, Facebook, in your yearly rounds of remembering that day.

00:03:20 - 00:03:23 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God. I'm going to think about that.

00:03:23 - 00:03:25 | Speaker 6:

Where it comes back up over and over again.

00:03:25 - 00:03:34 | Speaker 5:

I'm not usually in favor of embarrassing people publicly on social media. It happens all too often, unless he did something really stupid and deserves it.

00:03:35 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 4:

Well, let's just say he probably did.

00:03:39 - 00:03:40 | Speaker 5:

It's safe to assume.

00:03:40 - 00:03:58 | Speaker 6:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Anybody ever have a public breakup like that? or, like, break up, maybe the guy or the girl was a coward about it and just said, I'm afraid of what you're going to do, so you go out somewhere to do it in a public place.

00:03:58 - 00:04:04 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say, I'm sure waiters and waitresses have seen it all and have some great stories to share.

00:04:04 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah. They're loving that. They're loving the fact that now, and, you know, the problem with it is, too, is the person might walk out on the bill, you know? Because they're so worried about what's going on. So I bet you the waiters and waitresses are like, where the hell did my table just go?

00:04:23 - 00:04:27 | Speaker 4:

Have you guys ever had a public breakup? Because I broke up with a guy at a Panera once.

00:04:28 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 5:

Did you?

00:04:28 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 4:

I specifically chose Panera because I don't go there often, so I knew it wouldn't ruin the place for me.

00:04:34 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 5:

Was the reason you didn't want to, like, also you didn't want a big drama? You just want to break up and move on? You didn't want him to try and...

00:04:41 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but here's where I get petty. My best friend was sitting in the car waiting for me.

00:04:45 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay.

00:04:46 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 4:

I was like, I got places to be. We got to make this fast.

00:04:49 - 00:04:49 | Unknown:

Let's go.

00:04:51 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 6:

Chelsea and I, when we first got together, I tried to call it off because I thought, oh, man, this is going too fast. And I ended up breaking up in a Mexican restaurant.

00:05:00 - 00:05:28 | Speaker 3:

restaurant in tucson and then proceeded to ask her what she was going to order to eat no as she was like getting emotional i didn't know what to do it was like the worst thing ever and by the way i'm gonna suggest this to you don't ever do that yeah don't ever do it in a public place before you order your meal until you were how long when the food comes how long do you have to wait before you can oh well we ended up having to get up we ate the chips and the salsa and had i didn't pay for the drinks and then we left do you remember the story i told you guys like a year

00:05:28 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 10:

ago, Wes and I got into a huge fight when we were on vacation in New York City, and he had to go downstairs and ask the front desk for the breakup rate to get another room. Talk about public.

00:05:43 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 3:

Can you tell us what that fight was about? No. Now that everything's good?

00:05:46 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 10:

No. Uh-uh. Come on. No. No way. You can't be private with us. Oh, I can actually be private about that.

00:05:51 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 3:

That's going to be a truth or dare when we do truth or prayer. Was it your fault or his fault?

00:05:57 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 10:

I'm not even going there.

00:05:58 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 3:

Andrea, who do you think? Whose fault was it? Shannon's or what? Forget your story.

00:06:04 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 10:

By the way, fun fact, a lot of hotels have a special breakup rate. They feel bad for you.

00:06:09 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 3:

I wonder if restaurants have that, too. Andrea, hi, public breakup. Where was it?

00:06:15 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 7:

00:06:30 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 7:

No, no, no It was his ex-girlfriend So I was like the second I was like the

00:06:35 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 3:

00:06:40 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 7:

I mean, we ended up getting back together later on, but I still broke up with him. Everyone in the Chinese restaurant is staring at us, looking at us funny, because he's on his knee, and I'm just shaking my head. No, it was so embarrassing. Oh, my God. So you got back together.
