the FIFA World Cup 2026. So this is considered to be the holiest week of the year if you are a Catholic or a Christian because it's Easter week. Today is Holy Thursday. Tomorrow's Good Friday. Saturday is Saturday. I forget what it is. What is it? Some Saturday. And then Sunday is Easter, you know, it's the, you know, the Lord is risen and stuff. Well, you know, church is a big thing to, you know, many of us, but probably no bigger than Lydia. Lydia is in a Bible study. She goes to church a lot. Lydia's who answers your phones when you call 844-MOJO-LIVE. Well, listen to the irony of this one. Lydia almost got into a little fight argument at church because of something that she was doing, and I wanted to throw this out there. You can't get into an argument on Palm Sunday.

00:02:26 - 00:02:27 | Speaker 1:

I know.

00:02:27 - 00:02:29 | Speaker 4:

Or Easter Sunday, right?

00:02:29 - 00:03:05 | Speaker 1:

Listen, I do feel bad about this now, but at the time, kind of. So on this past Sunday on Palm Sunday, I went to church with my mom, and then I had asked my friend, who was bringing her three kids, if they wanted to sit next to us. And she was running a little bit behind, but rest assured, I had her covered because I had all my coats and my purses laying across. Oh, yeah. You got to save the seat. I wanted to save the seat. So church started at like 1130, and it was hitting like 1125, and people started standing on the walls. So they kept walking around to find a seat, of course, because they were just entering.

00:03:05 - 00:03:07 | Speaker 4:

Standing room only because guess what? They're C&Es.

00:03:08 - 00:03:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:03:08 - 00:03:11 | Speaker 4:

Christmas and Easter's. They only go to church on those days.

00:03:11 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 1:

I know, yeah. So then the altar guys started to walk around, and they were looking over at me and my mom, And my mom started to get tears in her eyes because she felt so bad. But I'm like, it's OK, mom. Like, they're coming. They're coming. And my friend texted me. She's like, I'm going to be really, really late. Like, I don't know if I'm going to make it in time to sit in those seats. And I was like, no, it's OK. Well, 1130 comes around. And of course, the altar guy comes back around to me and was like, you need to move those. And my face got so red because people on the wall started to stare at me. Like, they were like, this girl is taking up all these seats. and I felt like those people like prior to when you know the movies before you could reserve seats how people would put their coats in seats of like the premieres oh yeah yeah I felt like one of those people I was so embarrassed so do people get a little uh ornery I've used that word twice this

00:04:03 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 4:

I need another word for like when people get uh irate and crazy um do they get like that at church Has anybody ever been in a fight at church? Or the church parking lot. Leaving church is when it gets nuts.

00:04:19 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 7:

Because they tell you, you can only go at least at Kensington. You can only go a certain way. You can only turn right, even though it is way easier for me to turn left and probably for everybody else. So there are definitely some people who go right past that sign.

00:04:32 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

00:04:33 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 7:

And I feel like people don't have any more Jesus left in them by that point.

00:04:38 - 00:04:50 | Speaker 4:

And the thing that's interesting is, and I've been to that church too, Kensington Church, they have to do it the way that they do it because the townships and stuff like that want them to exit and enter and do things the same way.

00:04:50 - 00:04:50 | Speaker 7:

A certain way.

00:04:51 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

And nobody wants to listen to the volunteer in the fluorescent, whatever, glowing jacket.

00:05:00 - 00:05:03 | Speaker 3:

She's standing there with a big smile on her face. I'm sure she gets all sorts of fingers.

00:05:05 - 00:05:07 | Speaker 2:

Then they should have signs that say things like,

00:05:07 - 00:05:18 | Speaker 5:

we're here to save our sins or save ourselves. Mike, you know what the sign is? The cross that's outside of that church. That has nothing to do with a spot. That's the sign. Christina, hi.

00:05:19 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 7:

Hi.

00:05:20 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's going on? You're calling up about Christmas and Easter. Yeah, Lydia.

00:05:25 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, Lydia, her pastor, or you said about them being like Christmas, Easter. ceas yes i texted my pastor would call them ceo christmas easter only oh that's good i was trying

00:05:38 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 5:

to figure what the element have you ever seen people get crazy in the church or church parking

00:05:43 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 7:

lot oh my gosh uh yeah i've seen many things happen um there's been because like well my pastor he's gone now he's deceased but um we had a really small church of only 120 so when And those people, those CEOs would show up. We would literally have people standing outside in the fellowship hall. Like, the normal people couldn't sit down. And they would, I mean, it would get a little crazy.

00:06:11 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 5:

Every time you hit that button where the beep went off, we all blinked. It was like you were hitting us in the eye with the boop, boop, boop. Well, Happy Easter to you.

00:06:22 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 7:

Oh, am I hitting something? No, you were pushing your button.

00:06:26 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 5:

But that's all right. I got one right in the eye. Happy Easter to you.

00:06:32 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 7:

Happy Easter, you guys. Thank you.

00:06:34 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 5:

All right. Take care of yourself. Oh, my God. Somebody actually wouldn't actually get up when they asked them to move and started yelling, and the pastor actually had to stop church because of that at one of the churches here on a text from 586.

00:06:54 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 6:

What time did your friend actually come? She ended up getting there at 11.55. Oh, God. I would be nervous at that point. And what time was mass? 11.30.

00:07:04 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 5:

Wait a second.

00:07:07 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 6:

At what point do you just go? Yeah. It's on you.

00:07:11 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 5:

Technically.

00:07:11 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 6:

Well, and also, all right, you got to stand at this point.

00:07:14 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 5:

Is this bad? Lydia, tell me this, and please be gentle with me. Is this bad that I always leave after communion because I want to beat the rush getting out?

00:07:22 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's bad because you have to receive the final blessing. That's, like, the best part.

00:07:26 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 5:

what they're gonna say and i know they're gonna and they always do announcements and things like that anyway you know hey by the way donuts and coffee you know for the that's why you go to church you like the final blessing i do do you stay till the end of the song the processional

00:07:41 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 6:

song that goes from the i say to the very end when the priest walks off that altar i get out

00:07:46 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 5:

of the pew i'm a bad catholic i'm like i literally i mean by the time i i'm like and i know it's bad they're going to say this to me. I'm going to have people say this to me, but I'm still with the host in my mouth, you know, as I'm pulling out on Commerce Road.

00:08:04 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 6:

My pastor had to make an announcement once because he saw a lady put it in her purse. Oh my gosh, no. He's like, please don't take the communion with you.

00:08:14 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 5:

It's not, maybe that was for a friend at home or something like that.

00:08:18 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 2:
