I'm just an idiot, but nobody's surprised by that. Actually, I got to tell you, it's my new favorite thing on the internet. I had forgotten about it for a while. And you ever follow a page and then all of a sudden it pops up on your timeline and you're like, oh, sweet angel, where have you been? That's how I felt about this. So there is a hotel here. And I know as soon as I start talking about it, everybody's going to know what it is. But there's a hotel here that is targeted towards a certain special demographic. And that demographic is usually people in two different categories. We either have people doing honeymoons or anniversary celebrations or people who may not be faithful to their loved ones. This is where they go. They have the most amazing rooms. These are like rooms with not hot tubs in them, although they have those, but like full pools in the rooms. What? And private garages and stuff like this.

That's for the people who are not being faithful.

Oh, they put the car in the garage.

That's amazing. Correct. You can hide from your loved ones. And my favorite, absolute favorite part about this is the absolutely unhinged Facebook page to this establishment. Because on that Facebook page, they have decided the best way to market is to show their clientele. Which means taking pictures of the people who stay there and posting why they are staying there. And let me tell you, it is my favorite part of the internet right now.

Obviously, not the cheaters, because the cheaters aren't going to be wanting to be posted on their social media.

Now, let me say, I don't know explicitly if any of them are cheaters, but some people in these photographs do not look happy to be photographed. And I know you had to give consent in order to be on there, and you still look absolutely miserable. And I make my own backstories up for every one of these couples. so when the woman is happy and the man is mad he did something really bad and he needed to make up for it so she gets a fun weekend away and he has to vote the bill for this and he's not pleased like i come up with full backstories for every single photograph oh that's good wait you need to send in the group chat what

Um, it's funny that you bring this up because I think every city has the hotel that is the, like, cheater hotel, and I've never known that they actually have Facebook pages.

So in Grand Rapids, they don't have a cheater hotel, but they have a swinger hotel, and it's a specific spot in Comstock Park, and I know this because we did talk about it on the air. but there might be a group or a website as well, and I forget the name of it. It's going to drive me nuts, that everybody goes to, and you sign up for the party, and you show up to this hotel, and it's a specific night. It's like a theme night, and everybody goes and shows up, and they have swinger parties there. Man, I remember.

This is the most awkward Facebook page I've ever visited, ever, ever.

The suburb next to us was kind of like the suburb that you would go to to get yourself into trouble. like they had the party store that you know or liquor store that sold to the underage kids you know they had the roadside motel that you if you saw somebody leaving one of the rooms because it was one of the ones where you exit right to the outside you would honk your horn and go hey great job you know because you knew that they were somebody that was going there during the day because it was such a bad motel there's no way in hell that a guy driving a Cadillac and wearing a suit was going to be staying there, right? He would stay at a nice hotel hotel. This is a motel. And so it was known for this and I remember watching the news one night and this is always great too when you have this. When you watch the evening news and it was WLS Chicago, Channel 7 and they had a guy that was the news guy. His name was Chuck Gowdy. He was like their investigative reporter and he did a whole thing on Hooker Hotel. The hotel And the suburb next to me was the Hooker Hotel And he goes The Hooker Hotel And he does the news piece And they show these guys And they have their blurred out faces Walking out of there All wearing nice suits And then they show the women walking out afterwards And she's got like Like a silky like little dress on And she's like Basically looks like she's all like You know Hair in the air experience.

stuff like that and i was like oh my god this was our neighborhood like this was literally our neighborhood yeah and as kids we could ride our bikes to it and we we used to because all of us kids we'd all hear about it from our older brothers and all we wanted to do was see a hooker oh yeah it was like in the wild we're on our bmx bike we're on our bmx bikes wanting to see a hooker um mark what's going on it's mojo in the morning
