Mojo in the morning, I was just saying to KP that, hey, maybe we should DoorDash a little breakfast. And she's got DoorDash PSDs right now.

00:02:07 - 00:02:07 | Speaker 8:

Never again.

00:02:07 - 00:02:17 | Speaker 7:

After the DoorDash that she and Lydia did on Monday. And what was the story both of you guys have to tell us about the DoorDash?

00:02:17 - 00:02:30 | Speaker 8:

I ordered DoorDash for both of us, and Katie ended up dropping it off at the producer room. and Lydia is sitting there she's screening calls and I smell this terrible terrible smell and Lydia

00:02:30 - 00:03:07 | Speaker 5:

you didn't you didn't smell it at first no I didn't but I mean to my surprise it ended up being cigarette smoke so um KP had a sandwich in a bag and then I had a coffee which keep in mind I paid ten dollars for so um KP and I were about to eat our food and then KP mentioned that she smelled the cigarette smoke so she smelled her bag and she was like it definitely is coming from the bag and i was thinking oh maybe so then i smelled the lid of my coffee and it smelled so bad it had a sticker over it so i had to pop off the lid to drink my coffee i'm not kidding you it it like

00:03:07 - 00:03:30 | Speaker 8:

you it smelled like somebody had tapped their cigarette off on the top of lydia's cup and They used it as an ashtray? Yeah. It was terrible. And I don't know. Has anyone ever had this happen where, like, you order DoorDash food and your bag was tampered with or, like, you could smell the person on it?

00:03:31 - 00:03:52 | Speaker 7:

Question for you. What would you rather? Would you rather your DoorDash delivery person eat some of your French fries or basically smoke into your bag? That's tough. Or, another one, body odor. Has anybody ever had their DoorDash delivered and it smelled like the person's body odor?

00:03:52 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 4:

That would have to be so bad.

00:03:54 - 00:03:58 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yeah. I've had that, Shannon. No, you have not. Absolutely. What?

00:03:58 - 00:03:58 | Speaker 8:

Really?

00:03:58 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 7:

Yep.

00:03:59 - 00:04:00 | Speaker 8:

Use your sandwich as deodorant?

00:04:00 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 7:

No. I ordered to the radio station one time, Duncan, and the person brought, I remember this, the person brought, and I thought Spike was really into those wraps, right? Yeah. Don't you like those little wraps? And I thought it was his wrap. I'm like, God, it smells like body odor. And I'm wondering if that wrap was the reason why I smelled. And then I was smelling my cup, and it was honestly, and it could honestly not be the DoorDash person. It could have been the person, I don't know, who made it. Who knows? But it smelled like body odor.

00:04:28 - 00:04:34 | Speaker 5:

But don't you want the food so bad that you're like, oh, do I eat it? Do I not? Because I still drink the coffee. I just took the lid off.

00:04:34 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 7:

Like you said, you paid $10 for it. You're not going to waste it.

00:04:37 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 5:

I wanted it so bad.

00:04:38 - 00:04:44 | Speaker 7:

I'm so hungry right now. I would eat a body odor, smoke-filled, whatever.

00:04:45 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 8:

Do you want the rest of my bagel? No, I can't.

00:04:47 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 1:

I'll get sick. I had a driver deliver my food. Smelled so bad like weed that for the next two days, it smelled like somebody smoked weed in my place. And I was like, no, how does it linger that long?

00:04:58 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 7:

So, Spike, that's an issue.

00:05:00 - 00:05:11 | Speaker 5:

interesting point do doordash and grubhub and these delivery or even like fedex ups all those people do they tell you you cannot smoke weed because i feel like there's times where i just

00:05:11 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 3:

walk by people and they reek of weed yeah how do they police that these drivers are sitting in their car for hours at night doing what they want so i mean he rolled the window down and smoke poured

00:05:21 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 1:

out what about the like the safety in restaurants they have to be have a certain level of cleanliness and there's a bunch of safe checks. But DoorDash drivers, there aren't any type of regulation on how clean your car should be, which I would never be a DoorDash driver. I'd never pass the clean car test.

00:05:35 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Paige, what's happening? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:05:38 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 7:

Hi, Mojo. I was just saying that yesterday I work for a big construction company and I handle all deliveries for, like, our meetings. We had Chipotle catering delivered by a DoorDash driver yesterday and it reeked of cigarettes. So I called and they refunded the whole order. It was like $350.

00:05:56 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 4:

Wow, that's great customer service.

00:05:58 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 5:

How much cigarette smoking do you think it must be that they're doing for like your order and then Lydia and KP's order to smell like that?

00:06:07 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 4:

But you know what? Sometimes if someone is a smoker and they smoke in their car, their car just smells like that.

00:06:13 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:06:14 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 7:

I also think if people smoke cigarettes, they don't really get bothered by the smell of it.

00:06:18 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's true. They're like immune to it. Yeah, there's one guy in our building that works on our floor that smokes. I'm not going to say, obviously everybody knows who it is, but the entire hallway smells so bad. So, like, you can tell when you're even just getting close to his office because it just smells so bad.

00:06:35 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 5:

Does he work at the rock station? Because I just figure, like, that's, you know, profiling right there. They work at the rock station.

00:06:41 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 4:

Let's just say this. I don't get a lot of things fixed in the studio for that.

00:06:46 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 3:

Because then it's in their clothes and in their pores. and when they sit it gets soaked into their fabric of the chair and it just becomes a part of them. You know when they're around.

00:06:54 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 1:

The only crazy person who grew up with like smokers in the family. So I actually like it. Really? Yeah. Cigarettes remind me of concerts and fun. Not going to lie. Like if I like a concert and you're in a field or whatever. That's the only time I like cigarettes.

00:07:10 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 5:

Eloy, what's happening? Hi there. What's going on? You got some details for us on the rules of DoorDash drivers?

00:07:19 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 6:

Yes, there's no regulation for drivers to smoke while they're in their car, but I work for FedEx as well. That is highly frowned upon. Our drivers are random drug tests quite often. So, like, FedEx and UPS, you're not allowed to smoke. You're not even allowed to smoke cigarettes while you're driving. But, as I said before, there's no regulation with RubPub or, you know, DoorDash.

00:07:45 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 5:

But if you get enough complaints, you're in trouble.

00:07:51 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 6:

Probably, but, you know.

00:07:54 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 2:

I guess it's more about if you get bad reviews, right? Thanks for the call.

00:07:59 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 6:

No problem.

00:08:01 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 5:

No, you finished what you're saying. I'm sorry. I just keep coming back at myself, hearing myself like that. Attention, Kmart Choppers. The Blue Light Special is going on right now in aisle number four on cigarettes.

00:08:13 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 3:

We don't hear it. Are you hearing an echo?

00:08:15 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 5:

I got a little echo back from his phone line. What's up, Angelique?

00:08:19 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 8:

Yes, it's me.

00:08:21 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Angelique.

00:08:22 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. Hi, I was making a comment because I door dash, and I thought it was so funny that you said, like, one time that your food smelled like B.O. from Dunkin' Donuts. And every time I go there, it smells like that when I walk in there.

00:08:38 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 5:

You know what? It's probably they got one sandwich that for some reason resembles it. They might have one sandwich there.

00:08:45 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 8:

And it's funny that you – The store just, like, smells like that. But it's – I just get the craziest orders on DoorDash. And it's funny because, I don't know, we get a bad rep, but sometimes we just have the worst customers. And I was working Sunday night, and I ended up getting two vibrator orders.

00:09:13 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 5:

Wait a second. The person ordered from where? Where do you get vibrate?

00:09:17 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 8:

Wall screens. Yeah, you can.

00:09:19 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 5:

Wow.

00:09:21 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 8:

Yes. And then I was like, they don't even have this here. Well, they had it, but, like, it's weird.

00:09:28 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 5:

So I can door dash vibrators to my house.

00:09:31 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but you sounded a little judgmental here. Somebody was probably lonely. Maybe a little bit toasted.

00:09:38 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 1:

Did you forget the AAA batteries? Because that would have been a broken one.

00:09:40 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 8:

I mean, do your thing. Do your thing. And they try to throw in a pair of socks. I don't know why.

00:09:48 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 3:

Well, you know what, Colby. Well, there's a caller. Speaking of adult toys, I don't know if Liddy's been trying to get this person on, but I don't think they want to talk. They ordered from Instacart a few.

00:10:00 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 4:

weeks ago and attached to one of their grocery bags was a bright pink adult toy it was kind of stuck to the outside of one of the grocery bags so it must have been in the back they think it might have been in the back seat of the car and they put the bags on top of it oh my and and it

00:10:15 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 3:

00:10:43 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 3:

00:10:48 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. I'm smoking weed right now as I speak.

00:10:51 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 3:

Do your deliveries ever smell like that?

00:10:55 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 2:

uh yeah i also do uh uber driving too i've been reported saying that my truck smells like weed okay that's what i was gonna ask if people have complaints yeah yeah they have i've had complaints on me but i've i literally stopped smoking in my car and i used another vehicle to

do my business hey dem question for you do you find that the orders that you get for all the food delivery apps goes up when you're delivering and it smells like weed? Because I would probably be more hungry and my appetite would be better if I get to smell that.

00:11:36 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I've been picking up some orders and I'm like, man, this food smells good. Do you ever grab a bite? Just a French fry or a chip? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I don't tamper with people's food. That's nice. I don't tamper with people's food.

00:11:50 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 3:

00:12:36 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:12:37 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 1:

Personally, I like the French onion dip, but, you know.

00:12:40 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's good. We call it fine.

00:12:43 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 2:

00:12:51 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 3:

Do you guys notice that you mellowed out the moment we started talking to this guy? I feel so much more relaxed now. Thank you for calling

00:13:00 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 2:

Democratist. Is it Democratist? Thank you.

00:13:06 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. Love you, buddy. Thanks for listening. Be safe. Take care of yourself. Oh my god, this would be the worst. How would you like to have this Instacart driver? Brittany, how you doing?

00:13:18 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good morning. Good morning.

00:13:20 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 3:

What did your Instacart driver do?

00:13:23 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 1:

So I had ordered an Instacart order from Randazzo's, the fruit market. And so I had, you know, you get a ton of stuff for real cheap. So the order came. I brought the order into the kitchen, and my sister and brother-in-law were over. And my brother-in-law was like, God, I'm like, everything smells like gas. You know, we're like snipping the bags. and my sister literally was coming from upstairs to the downstairs and said, I can literally smell the gas from the upstairs.

00:13:49 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Oh, wow.

00:13:50 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 1:

How did that happen? It's fruit, too. You have to throw it away.

00:13:54 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 3:

There's nothing worse, by the way, than you spilling gas on yourself when you pump gas. Can you imagine that you spill it on your groceries?

00:14:00 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, those groceries are ruined.

00:14:01 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:14:02 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 1:

Well, we thought, like, that's what happened. Maybe she pumped, you know, went and got gas. Well, you can message through the app. So I asked her, like, you know, by chance, like, did you get gas or, you know, did you have a gas can in your trunk or whatever the case may be? So finally, she came and claimed to me that she had a full gas can spill in her trunk. Oh, my gosh. I'm like, so you put my, all of my, you know, fruit market order in the trunk of your soil spill. Yeah. Oh, gosh.

00:14:35 - 00:14:35 | Speaker 4:

Right.

00:14:35 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 1:

Now your bananas are flammable. oh literally it was terrible and then i also you know you can tell a little blurb on top of that i asked you know for all ripe avocados if they didn't have them forget about it this girl brings me 16 hard as a rock this is why you do kroger delivery

00:15:00 - 00:15:35 | Speaker 2:
