So I really wanted to pay the bill for our dinner, for our group on Saturday, just because you jerks are very generous and very kind. And I'm talking about Modo and Spike here. And it's usually you guys who will sneak off and pay a bill. And so I'm like, I have got this one. I took my credit card out of my little fanny pack and I like shoved it up my sleeve and pretended I needed to go to the bathroom so that I could catch our waitress, who one would think would be easy to find because she was dressed up like a pickle for some reason. I don't know if you guys noticed that, but she was wearing a huge pickle costume, maybe because it was green.

Yeah, I think that was the only green she probably had was the costume.

I followed her like back near the kitchen, you know, to give her my credit card so that you guys wouldn't see that I was doing that. She comes back and she hands me the bill and Megan just got pissed all of a sudden that I had paid the bill. And I think, did you see the total over my shoulder? Is that how you knew? You didn't? Not a clue. Oh, okay. Because all of a sudden I get a Venmo from Megan who, by the way, is sitting right next to me. And I was like, why did you do that? I'm going to send it right back to you. Like, this finally is my chance to pay a bill for this crew, you know? So I tried to Venmo her back for the same amount that she Venmoed me. This girl. Say it. No, no, no. This bitch blocked me before I could even send it back, which I need to learn how to do that. You're going down, bitch. That's great. So blocked me out of Venmo so that I couldn't send it back to her.

I didn't know you could do that. It's great.

Oh, you can. You have to teach me how to do it because I still can't figure out how. But, yeah, so it was like the sneaky Venmo. And so that's why we were fighting. It was not really for a bad reason. But I'm like, leave me alone.

What do couples or what do staff think when people are there at a table and it's the group of people and they are fighting over the bill? Does that annoy the waiters and waitresses? Do servers get that way?

I felt like I was annoying her in the first place because I could not find her when we went back to the bathroom. And so I could see her in the kitchen. So I just kind of walked like a little bit into the kitchen and over my belt, which I'm sure is definitely not, you know, good hygiene for the restaurant. I'm sure that's annoying, too.

But I want to ask that question. And I also would like to throw this out there, too. If you are somebody that works at a bar or a restaurant on Friday for St. Patrick's Day or maybe even Saturday, what was the most obnoxious customer that you had because of St. Patrick's Day?

Oh, I felt so bad for any service.

they've already been over served two hours in and then our waitress at the restaurant that we ate at in Grand Rapids, she was, like, getting bombarded with huge tables. So we had, I think we had, like, what, five or six or something like that at our table. But then there was other tables that we had. But then we had, like, everybody else show up.

All of a sudden we had, like, 16 people around our table.

And then the tables that were next to us were, like, that way. And then the other thing, too, is no, people will not get up. Like, we ate and we got out of there. We did. But there were people that were there for, I mean, there was one table she told me that was there for like two and a half hours and i think it was to a restaurant for two and a half

but it was because it was cold yeah i think it's because it was so cold and these people have been drinking at the festival for hours so they just wanted to sit and warm up and to the you know unfortunately for the servers they weren't getting the tables and the sir and they weren't able to rotate through and get more customers and i'm like if you're gonna sit there longer you better

be paying a lot more well and also i feel like when it's a situation like that and it's a bunch of people getting together and just having drinks and nachos or whatever and then everyone's like let's split the bill and then the poor waitress or waiter has like 10 different credit cards to go through when they're slammed anyway they now restaurants are getting smart they're not they

won't do that as much anymore yeah they'll say that they'll only split it once they won't split

it like four or five times you as a party should just figure it out let it let one person collect

all the money from everybody i was reading um i don't know it was a week and a half or two weeks ago where they were talking about how people want restaurants to just be accepting venmos directly to them so they so that's like the thing where right where people are like we because the the majority of people don't carry cash but also then the majority of people just want to venmo and restaurants say that they don't want to do that because the problem is that they get issues with like fees and ways to to pay it and it becomes a pain in the the arse what's up tay Hey, how you doing? Hey, I'm good. How are you? Good. What's going on? We're talking about when everybody's fighting over the bill. And if you could have seen Megan and Shannon, I don't know. I always thought that Megan could take Shannon, but I think Shannon could have taken Megan.

I usually just take whoever has the credit card or money out first. Is that it? Which is so annoying because it's a sneak attack. And you don't know that people have been paying for years and you don't even want to eat with them anymore because every time you go out to eat, somebody else picks up the bill and you wouldn't have ordered what you would have ordered and then you don't eat at all and then you get very hungry. It is a pit down to my own personal hell.

Wait, do you, wait, do you, I hated her. Do you order differently if you know that somebody's picking up the tab?

I saw our server running up Because somebody got up and she thought they were leaving Without paying the tab And it was funny to me because I felt bad Because this place is so crowded But our server was dressed like a pickle She had a green pickle outfit on I'm guessing for St. Patrick's Day And it's hard to take someone seriously When they're dressed like a pickle She was real cute

I one time had somebody say to us when we were fighting over the bill, the people at the other table said it's not it's not enjoyable, obviously, for the staff, but it's even less enjoyable for the people sitting right by you because the people sitting right by you are the ones that are getting the most annoyed by the whole deal because they're having to wait to get whatever it is that they were going to get, you know, their service and stuff.

You know what else I wanted to say about us during that dinner is so we ordered like a bunch of appetizers and one of the things was nachos. And I feel like I was the offender of taking my fork and eating, like, the chunks off the nachos. And I was dumb. Yeah.

so bad. No, no, no. What she was doing was she was eating the tops off the nachos and leaving the soggy chip that was in there. That was very offensive. My apologies.

Well, KP was drunk. She just picked up my fish and ate it right off my plate. Fingers and all.

That's when I gave her half of my burger because I'm like, she needs some food to soak up all that alcohol.

That's a sign that you're cute because a guy like me can't just pick off. No, I can't eat somebody's food. If I sit there and I eat somebody's food, then they're like, oh, there he goes again. Fat guy is grabbing it. It's so true.
