Did you have a good weekend, Shannon?

00:02:22 - 00:02:39 | Speaker 4:

I did. I kind of like randomly had a busy weekend. I had a charity event, a fundraiser for Lucy School. We had some sports, went bowling to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday.

00:02:39 - 00:02:40 | Speaker 5:

Very cool.

00:02:40 - 00:02:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, just like random stuff.

00:02:41 - 00:02:50 | Speaker 5:

So, Shannon says that it's the thing that annoys her about Wes, her fiancé. What annoys you about him?

00:02:50 - 00:03:19 | Speaker 4:

Okay, I'm hoping I'm not the only one that there's like one little, tiny, very petty thing that annoys you about your partner. And with Wes, he does this thing where he'll call me, and if I miss the call, if I don't answer the call for whatever reason, and I'm doing something else, he will immediately follow it up with a text message that said, tried calling every single time. So- I know. It says, missed call.

00:03:20 - 00:03:21 | Speaker 5:

He calls you.

00:03:21 - 00:03:22 | Speaker 4:

Calls me. I missed the call.

00:03:23 - 00:03:24 | Speaker 5:

You don't answer the call, and then he does what?

00:03:24 - 00:03:28 | Speaker 4:

He literally follows it up with a text that says, tried calling.

00:03:28 - 00:03:40 | Speaker 3:

Like, it doesn't say missed call. It reminds me of, like, an eight-year-old person who's, like, doesn't know how voicemail works or doesn't know how anything works. Like, you're too grown to not know. But wait. I don't know why this makes me so nutty.

00:03:40 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 5:

Have you ever gotten on him before about not returning a phone call or not calling him back?

00:03:46 - 00:04:02 | Speaker 4:

Okay. So, to be fair, and I hate you. I hate you. Sometimes, if I'm napping and I put my phone in do not disturb mode or whatever, I don't see that I have the missed call unless he leaves me a message. And so, then I don't know that he called. Dickhead.

00:04:02 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 5:

Yes. So. But still. I figured that that was the thing out. Because I'm thinking to myself.

00:04:07 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 4:

But he knows when that happens because it'll go right to voicemail. Do you see what I mean? If it's in do not disturb, it goes right to voicemail.

00:04:13 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 5:

Megan, the reason why I'm saying this is because I have been where Wes has been and I've had that happen to me before where Chelsea will say to me, I'll say to Chelsea, I'll call you back in a few minutes and Chelsea's biggest pet peeve is my few minutes might be few hours and she hates when I do that. So I'm really, really bad about returning the phone call. Is Wes bad at that, too, or are you bad at that?

00:04:37 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 4:

No, no. I would be worse than him at that. He's very good.

00:04:41 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

If he says he's going to return the phone call, he will. So then I'll call her back, and she won't answer, and I always will then send a text message to her to doubly make her aware of this, because I have had this happen to me before with my wife. I've had it happen where she says, you didn't call me back, and I have to go back.

00:05:00 - 00:05:09 | Speaker 4:

in my phone, you know, where I'm talking about, into the recents or the call log to show that I actually sent her or called her.

00:05:09 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 1:

And you screenshot it and sent it. Yes, we have the same issue. But this just really gets on my nerves. Yes. Listen. Try calling. I can see it.

00:05:19 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to tell you.

00:05:20 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 1:

This has missed call.

00:05:21 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 4:

That Wes guy is just covering his ass. Wes, you're smart for doing that. Okay, what is the thing that annoys the crap out of you about your partner? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. My annoying thing I'll talk about after I grab a couple of calls because Megan witnessed it, and Megan actually said that I am very annoying at this. And I'll explain because she was with her this weekend.

00:05:42 - 00:05:44 | Speaker 1:

I can't even narrow it down to what it might be.

00:05:44 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 4:

No, no, you know what it was. All I can say is this, celery. Kayla, are you there?

00:05:52 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 3:

Hello.

00:05:53 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 4:

What annoys you, Kayla, about...

00:05:55 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 3:

Okay, well, first of all, I mean, what doesn't annoy me about myself right so shannon yeah shannon said is there is there one little thing that annoys about your spouse and i'm saying only one

00:06:10 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 4:

honestly if you had to pick if you had to pick one kayla what is the thing the one thing that just drives you absolutely bat spit crazy oh gosh um well i don't even know um

00:06:29 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 3:

when he tells me that he's on his way home and i'm like well where are you and he just says in the car okay i know you're in the car yeah okay see i'm glad you at least i'm glad you came up

00:06:45 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm glad you came up with one, because I was going to say, he's not that annoying. He's actually not that bad. You're just making, you're just, you know, throwing him under the bus for no particular reason.

00:06:55 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 1:

She's just sorting through all the options in her head.

00:06:57 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 4:

Does he ever do this with the not telling you where? Does he ever not tell you where because he knows you're going to bust him for the fact that he didn't leave when he said he was supposed to leave?

00:07:07 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 3:

No, he just likes to push my buttons.

00:07:10 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 4:

Okay. But you still love him, right?

00:07:12 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 3:

I do. I've been with him a very long time.

00:07:15 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 2:

oh that's nice um kylie what's going on hi um my dad used to call me all the time and he would leave a voicemail and he would say hey kai it's your dad every time just like shannon was saying like he would say hey it's your dad hey it's your dad like i know it i see it in the voicemail and

00:07:37 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 4:

the missed call you know it's funny i leave messages all the time from friends and stuff And I'll go, hey, it's Mojo Just calling you up And people say that same thing to me I, for some reason, feel like I need to Do you ever do that?

00:07:50 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 1:

I think I do

00:07:51 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 4:

Hi, this is And then I give the phone number four times To family members Give me a call back at 248

00:08:00 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 1:

Do you think it was people who grew up Before caller ID Versus people who grew up afterwards? And you just do it out of habit? Nowadays I see kids when they go Pretend to take a photo And instead of holding up a camera And pushing the button They just hold up one hand for a selfie, and I'm like, what are you doing?

00:08:15 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 4:

Claire, what annoys you about your partner?

00:08:19 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 3:

My husband is so anal about which way the toilet paper goes on the holder. He actually took me in the bathroom one day and corrected me, and I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants. It's got to go over. Yeah, over. Over. And it has to go over. It has to go over. I just remember fangs are good, mullets are bad, and that's how I remember how to put the toilet paper on the holder. Wait, say that again Bangs are good, mullets are bad Oh my god, that's so funny

00:08:47 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 4:

Awesome, by the way I love that he gave you a lesson Like he took you in there Is that a little bit kind of like I don't know A little Bad Like as a spouse What do you mean? Well, like when you're going into the bathroom And you're like, let me give you a lesson It's almost kind of like some people might Some therapist might say Or might have told me That that was not a good thing to do Like I've been told that before Megan what's going on? Not you Megan

00:09:18 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 3:

Hi Megan Hi long time caller It's actually really funny Because all my friends give me a hard time Because I can always call in to you guys And they can't So they're like what do you do? But I call because my fiance Never closes the shower curtain After a shower Never. And it drives me bonkers.

00:09:41 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 1:

Megan, if you close the shower curtain, the murderers get in there and they get you while you're going to the bathroom.

00:09:47 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

I can get rid of the murderer. I'm worried about the germs and the mold. And he fought to have the shower curtain on because he's a big nerd and it's Zelda. And he really, really wanted it.

00:10:00 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 4:

But he never has it open to look at the image. So what's the point?

00:10:04 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 1:

That's funny. Leanna, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:10:08 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 4:

Oh, hey, guys. Good morning. All right, have a look. So let's start off with, like, any time my husband tells a story, he leaves out every single detail in the book. He'll say, oh, yeah, I told my brother we had a baby, you know, and we would leave it at that silence. I'm like, okay, and what did he say? Oh, yeah, he thought it was cool. Okay. And I'm like, come on. And then the way he brushes his hair, he doesn't brush through his hair. He scrubs his head with the brush. I'm like, that's not brushing your hair. Wait, what? What do you mean? He, like, takes his brush with his hair and his scalp, and he just, like, scrubs his scalp with the brush. And that's brushing his hair. I'm like, that's weird. And then, like, when he blows his nose, he uses one Kleenex for the whole day. I'm like, we're not that poor. you can use more than one

00:10:58 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 2:

my grandma used to do that and slip the kleenex

00:11:01 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 1:

up her sleeve I was going to say how old is he how old is he he's 42 that's like an 80 year old

00:11:09 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 2:

thing to do it really is

00:11:11 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 1:

I lived through the depression thing to do Erica what's up

00:11:15 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 5:

hey what's up

00:11:17 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 1:

nothing much what's going on we're basically talking about the people that we supposedly love but we really don't

00:11:23 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 5:

yeah I love my husband dearly but i will text him a question and instead of just answering me back he calls me to explain what the answer is i don't need you to call me back i text you for a reason text me back but

00:11:41 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 1:

don't you understand though that he just wants to hear your voice that it's so beautiful and he

00:11:45 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 5:

wants to hear it maybe but i text you because i'm busy i you can hear my voice when you come home

00:11:52 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 2:

Does he ever send you back an audio message that you would then have to listen to in public?

00:11:56 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 5:

No. My husband wouldn't know how to do that. Oh, okay.

00:11:59 - 00:11:59 | Unknown:

All right.

00:12:00 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, he wouldn't know how to send an audio message. He's, yeah, he's not tech savvy, let's say.

00:12:05 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I was reading that that is now the thing that every, would they say, Gen Zer or whatever wants to do, that that's no longer texting. Gen Zers think voice notes are more personal than text. So they do voice notes. I hate voice notes

00:12:22 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 2:

I hate voice notes too We can't listen to that Like if somebody does that to me While we're on the air We can't sit here And listen to those So I'm not going to be able To respond to you

00:12:29 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 3:

I love them Do you? Until I see somebody say Or it says like Kept by the other person Oh yeah And then when I see you keep them I go why did you keep that? Don't keep that

00:12:39 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 1:

Or people will send a voice note And it goes away

00:12:43 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 2:

It's a minute 50 seconds long

00:12:45 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 1:

Well that's true That's not a voice note That's like a full on message They might as well Just leave you a message But then it will go away though Sometimes Like, it will go away, like, really fast if you don't, like, fully hear it and go, I'll listen to it later, and it will say expiring in so long. So my experience with Megan this weekend, so we hung out on Saturday night, we went and ate dinner, and then we got drinks, and then she spent the night at our house with Chelsea and I, my wife, and Megan piled on about how horrible of an eater I am, saying when Chelsea was coming down on me over the fact that she says that I chomp too loud. that Megan was like, oh, my God, I wanted to just kill him with the chomping thing. And it drove me crazy that I thought that I had somebody that had my back.

00:13:33 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 3:

First of all, what if I ever had your back?

00:13:36 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 1:

I always thought that you were the type of person that kind of had my back from time to time because realistically, remember this, you and I are virtually the same person, one with a penis and the other one without.

00:13:49 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 3:

I hate when you bring that up Because first of all, accurate, we are exactly the same person, but I don't need the reminder. But second of all, I will support you and have your back on anything important. I would hide a body for you. But if it comes to agreeing with you about being right on something, absolutely not. I would never. Thanks for having Mojo's back there, Megan. Shut up. You're the best.

00:14:11 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, exactly. Hold on. I don't know if Chelsea's going to answer. She may be in the shower.

00:14:16 - 00:14:21 | Speaker 2:

By the way, what's Luke doing today on his first day with no school in however many years?

00:14:21 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 1:

He has to go back on his first day with no school and take a... Oh, wait, that doesn't sound like my wife. He has to go back and take a test. No, why? Because there was something that he had to make up. So he had to go back and do a test. But yet was out till 11 o'clock last night doing Water Wars. Which I got to talk about that too. the water wars thing got kind of crazy but

00:14:46 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 2:

I'm not even involved in water wars nor have I ever been our school didn't do that it gives me so much anxiety to watch these kids do this oh the water wars

00:14:54 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

crazy I got a big thing I want to talk about in the 8 o'clock hour with water wars Chelsea

00:14:59 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

yeah

00:15:00 - 00:15:10 | Speaker 5:

Megan is never invited over to our house ever again. Yes, she is. I've made this decision, and the reason why is she agreed with you on the fact that I am the worst to eat out with.

00:15:12 - 00:15:27 | Speaker 4:

Definitely have celery, yeah, and you're hungry. Yeah. It is the worst. I think I heard every fiber of that celery being crushed from across the table. Yeah, I was afraid you're going to eat your fingers. It's pretty aggressive.

00:15:28 - 00:15:29 | Speaker 5:

I was very hungry.

00:15:29 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so wait, you satisfy your hunger with a piece of celery?

00:15:32 - 00:15:36 | Speaker 5:

No, because it was one of those things where we had ordered appetizers, so we ordered wings.

00:15:36 - 00:15:37 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's when you had all the wings.

00:15:37 - 00:16:42 | Speaker 5:

No, I didn't eat any of the wings because they were right by you guys, and you guys were across the table, so all I had was the vegetables. But long story short, long story short, I was so hungry, and I was really trying to deal with this because I didn't eat all day. Okay. And so I was eating celery, and then Chelsea and Megan, just like the next day, it was Sunday. do you understand how loud you chew and like you chew with your mouth open and then chelsea says when you go out with clients do clients ever have to like duck from the food that's coming out of your mouth and it was awful which by the way i did you do share via the spray of the food and i went out with a client on friday i actually went out with dr reynolds on friday and i actually said to him listen if i'm really bad like i have to like forewarn people ahead of time because Chelsea has talked about this so much on the air. Real quick, I want you to know something. After I take this call, Megan's about to say something about staying at our house that I think that is going to get her in trouble. But Taylor, are you there?

00:16:43 - 00:16:43 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I'm here.

00:16:44 - 00:16:45 | Speaker 5:

Taylor, what's going on?

00:16:45 - 00:16:50 | Speaker 4:

Just the chomping of the veggie straws from four rooms away. I can't stand.

00:16:51 - 00:16:54 | Speaker 5:

So your guy also does that? Your partner also does that?

00:16:54 - 00:17:03 | Speaker 4:

Yep, I can hear him. When I'm in the room and he's in the kitchen, I can hear him chomping on those veggie straws, or even lettuce gets crunchy, and I just can't stand it.

00:17:03 - 00:17:09 | Speaker 5:

Really? Chelsea, what's the food besides the celery that I was eating the other day that you cannot stand that I eat?

00:17:11 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 4:

I think it's just celery.

00:17:16 - 00:17:16 | Speaker 5:

It is celery?

00:17:16 - 00:17:17 | Speaker 4:

Celery's probably the worst.

00:17:17 - 00:17:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:17:18 - 00:17:19 | Speaker 4:

I've got one.

00:17:19 - 00:17:19 | Speaker 5:

What?

00:17:19 - 00:17:27 | Speaker 4:

Your apple eating is insane. Well, we don't have apples in the house anymore. He's not allowed to have them here.

00:17:28 - 00:17:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. She gets rid of everything. Taylor, do you ever get rid of the food that your partner eats like a horse?

00:17:34 - 00:17:36 | Speaker 4:

I'll try or at least leave the room.

00:17:37 - 00:17:38 | Speaker 5:

It's that bad, huh?

00:17:38 - 00:17:42 | Speaker 3:

Wait, Chels, you seriously don't buy them anymore because the chomping's so bad? We do not have them in our house anymore.

00:17:44 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 5:

You know what she's bought? Applesauce. I'm like an old person. I'm like a senior citizen with my bowl of applesauce that I get to eat. All right. So, Taylor, I want you to stick around because in a second here, Megan stayed at our house this weekend. And what Megan was doing in our house that Chelsea and I did not realize until we looked at the ring cameras.

00:18:07 - 00:18:08 | Speaker 4:

I knew it.

00:18:10 - 00:18:18 | Speaker 5:

Coming up here in just a second, okay? Chelsea, I will talk to you later. Have a great morning. How's your first morning of having no kid in school?

00:18:19 - 00:18:22 | Speaker 4:

It's glorious. Glorious, glorious.

00:18:22 - 00:18:24 | Speaker 5:

Are you as depressed as I am?

00:18:24 - 00:18:26 | Speaker 4:

I'm very depressed, but I don't want to talk about that.

00:18:26 - 00:18:29 | Speaker 5:

All right. Will you cry on the radio for us? It brings us radios.

00:18:29 - 00:18:30 | Speaker 4:

No. No.

00:18:31 - 00:18:33 | Speaker 5:

You have no kids at home anymore.

00:18:33 - 00:18:34 | Speaker 4:

I still have you.
