00:00:58 - 00:01:21 | Speaker 3:

All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. What a great weekend. I hope you guys got to enjoy it. We sat around, watched. We watched The Family Stone. Oh, my favorite. Our first official watching of The Family Stone. We watch it every year, and we realize that that's Chelsea and I. The parents in that thing.

00:01:21 - 00:01:22 | Speaker 4:

She's going to live forever and ever and ever.

00:01:23 - 00:01:30 | Speaker 3:

So we watched that. We cried. And then I started thinking to myself, well, what other Christmas movies can we pull out?

00:01:30 - 00:01:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh my goodness.

00:01:30 - 00:01:33 | Speaker 3:

And I know I'm not going to watch the one that Shannon's about to talk about.

00:01:33 - 00:02:53 | Speaker 4:

Let me tell you something. You guys know I am a sucker for all of the cheesy Hallmark movies. What? I love, I know, it's shocking. I love them. And Friday night, Wes and I were solo. We didn't have any children. And so we had already gone to the mall and like ran all of our errands and stuff. And we made dinner and we lit a fire and we were just going to wind down and watch a movie. And we've already watched like a few of the staples this year. It's Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street, Christmas Vacation. And I kept seeing people posting about this hot frosty movie on Netflix with Lacey Chabert because she's now in all of like the Christmas movies. It's Lindsay Lohan and Lacey Chabert are in all of the movies. The Lindsay Lohan one is really good, by the way. I keep hearing that. It's really good. Okay. So everybody keeps telling me hot frosty, hot frosty. And so we started it. You guys, it might be not just the worst holiday movie I've ever seen. It might be the worst movie I've ever seen. And we didn't even get, we maybe got 14 minutes in and Wes looked at me and he was like, this is absolute torture. I feel like I've lost precious moments of my life. And I agreed with him. It was horrible. If you've gotten through that movie, tell me it gets better, because I don't believe you.

00:02:54 - 00:02:56 | Speaker 3:

Can you read the synopsis of Hot Frosty?

00:02:56 - 00:03:12 | Speaker 4:

Okay, yeah, hang on. Okay, so it is, it's Lacey Chabert, by the way, from Mean Girls. It says, when a young widow's magic scarf brings a dashing snowman to life, can he help her rediscover romance, laughter, and holiday cheer before he melts away?

00:03:12 - 00:03:16 | Speaker 3:

She falls in love with a snowman? With a snowman. I love snowman sex.

00:03:16 - 00:03:18 | Speaker 4:

Who reminds me of Tarzan.

00:03:18 - 00:03:22 | Speaker 3:

So he starts off like a snowman, but he becomes a real man.

00:03:22 - 00:03:26 | Speaker 4:

Because she wraps her red magic scarf around him. Oh, really? Again.

00:03:26 - 00:03:27 | Speaker 3:

It's a no for me, though.

00:03:27 - 00:03:32 | Speaker 4:

This sounds like something I'd be into normally. It was so stupid. Hey, so nice to see you.

00:03:32 - 00:03:34 | Speaker 3:

Take it off. You get your heat fixed?

00:03:36 - 00:03:40 | Speaker 4:

My life is a mess right now. Good things come to you when you're out in the cold, Kathy.

00:03:42 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 3:

Wait, did she just say good things come to you when you're... When you're cold.

00:03:45 - 00:03:52 | Speaker 4:

No, when you're cold. You know what? That's not true. You keep it.

00:03:56 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. So she wraps these things. They're pretty bad. You want me to get behind you and push?

00:04:03 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 4:

He comes to life, and he's very chiseled, but dumber than a box of rocks. It is. It is. Really?

00:04:11 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 3:

So this is a bad movie. Don't watch this movie.

00:04:14 - 00:04:24 | Speaker 4:

And you know who put it on his Instagram? and I normally trust all of his movie and TV show recommendations. Our friend Armand. Really? I'm very upset with you about this.

00:04:24 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 3:

Armand, who used to work here? Yes. He seems like he's too cool to watch a movie like this.

00:04:28 - 00:04:29 | Speaker 4:

No, he loves all those kind of movies, too.

00:04:29 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 3:

He does? Yes. So wait, what did he say on his thing? Did he say it was horrible?

00:04:33 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 4:

No, he was sitting down to cozy up and watch it with cocktails and his husband. There is a worse Christmas movie, though.

00:04:41 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 3:

What's that? The Polar Express. Oh, my God, that's the worst movie ever.

00:04:45 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 2:

The worst movie ever.

00:04:47 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 4:

There's one good moment of the entire film, and it's that hot chocolate song. And other than that, hot garbage is what that movie should be called.

00:04:55 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

I remember taking the kids to go see Polar Express.

00:05:00 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 5:

and then they had a Polar Express train in like Walled Lake that Chelsea was like, hey, did you see that there's a Polar Express train? And I said, what is a Polar Express train? She says, it's a train that's like the Polar Express, and then you have like dinner on it, and then afterwards you celebrate like Christmas. I'm like going, the movie alone was the worst thing ever.

00:05:22 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 6:

The worst. I never saw it, but it looked like it was supposed to be a nice kid movie, but it looked scary at the same time.

00:05:29 - 00:05:31 | Speaker 2:

It is. The animation is a little creepy.

00:05:31 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 5:

It was crazy. Their teeth look weird. It was absolutely horrible. Also, the other thing, too, is any of those Tim Allen Santa Claus movies. Hold on now.

00:05:40 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 6:

Hold on now.

00:05:41 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 5:

Those are the dumbest things ever.

00:05:43 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 6:

I like those. Tim Allen's funnier than that. I really love those. Listen, those are good movies. All of them.

00:05:47 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 5:

That is so dumb.

00:05:49 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 6:

Bernard. You are insane.

00:05:51 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 1:

You can't crap on Bernard. Scott Claus. Come on.

00:05:54 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 5:

Or what is the dog ones? Where the dog. Earbud. earbuds air buds you know they got an air bud christmas i don't know if there's an air bud

00:06:03 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 6:

christmas but those movies air buds are the dumbest movies ever you like seriously when they had the core you are too cool of a guy you're too cool of a guy i was 89 because what those dogs are dead oh damn man hold on ashley what's up ashley that's a terrible hey hi first time

00:06:26 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 3:

long time what's going on well you say me and my fiance watched the hot frosty and we really liked it he wasn't supposed to be smart he was a freaking honestly were you drinking when you

00:06:42 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 1:

watched it or hi we were it was our date night movie okay so that that's why you thought it was

00:06:48 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 5:

okay did you find him to be attractive when he came to life i don't think he was a snowman he wasn't supposed to be smart yeah it was he again he needed a brain all he needed was the the scarf uh what's up kristin hi what's going on good morning good morning movie ever oh you saw it too

00:07:10 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 4:

oh i not all of it i couldn't get through the whole thing i started it because i'd heard good things about it and i'm a hallmark movie fan i download an app and everything every christmas I've just watched it on things, and I love them. And I love Lacey. She's one of my favorite actors on these things. But this movie, I couldn't do it. And I almost always get to movies, and I couldn't do this one.

00:07:30 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 5:

Does Lacey star in all these movies? Like, is she the—

00:07:34 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 1:

It's like her, Lindsay, Candace Cameron, Bure. There's like a group of five or six of them that are in all the movies.

00:07:41 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 5:

Donna, what's going on? Oh, I lost you, Donna. Hold on a second here. Ashley, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. we're talking about the worst Christmas movie ever, which is the Hot Frosty movie.

00:07:54 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I didn't think it was that terrible, but, I mean, it wasn't one of her greatest, but I like Lacey.

00:07:59 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. So what's Lacey's best movie that Shannon should watch? Because I don't know if Wes is going to give her a second chance on this whole thing.

00:08:09 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 3:

I don't even want to give her a recommendation because she didn't like that one.

00:08:14 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 5:

Do you think that maybe Shannon needs a little bit of the Christmas spirit in her life?

00:08:17 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 1:

I have so much Christmas spirit. Just not for a snowman that comes to life.

00:08:22 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Olaf. Was it?

00:08:23 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, except for Olaf.

00:08:24 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 5:

The premise is cute. It's just that you think that they did a stupid job or you don't like the premise?

00:08:30 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 1:

No, they did a stupid job.

00:08:31 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 5:

Oh, really? Yeah.

00:08:32 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 1:

I think it would just raise it off Frosty the Snowman.

00:08:36 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 5:

Frosty the Snowman? Like the old ones? The animated ones that they had? I used to love those movies.

00:08:41 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's what I kind of think they were going for.

00:08:44 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 5:

So I actually sat my kids down and I said, hey, guys, These are the things that we used to watch when we were kids. I want to sit you down and have you see Santa Claus is coming to town, Frosty the Snowman, all that stuff. My kids sat down in front of the TV and they're like, this sucks. Can we play video games? I mean, it's like, how is it that we as kids loved it? Or Charlie Brown Christmas. My kids hated a Charlie Brown Christmas. They thought it was the dumbest thing ever. They're like, this is a, you guys, they're like, what did grandma and grandpa do to you? They made you sit down and watch these things. And then It's a Wonderful Life, which is the movie that I think is the greatest movie of all time. I've had friends go watch it, and they thought, this is the most long, boring, and they hate black and white. I like black and white versus the color version.

00:09:28 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 1:

I hated it as a kid. I appreciate that movie as an adult. Yeah. Oh, yeah.

00:09:33 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 5:

Sarah, what is your worst movie ever?

00:09:37 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 2:

Well, I think it's the best Christmas movie ever. It's called Mixed Nuts with Steve Martin, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jon Stewart. This was back in the 90s. I don't think I've ever seen that one before. Hang on, I'm Googling.

00:09:50 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 6:

Wow.

00:09:50 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Mixed Nuts. Mixed Nuts. It's about a nonprofit suicide hotline on Christmas Eve. It's hilarious. Oh, I have seen this movie.

00:10:00 - 00:10:02 | Speaker 4:

That's a great title for that. That wouldn't fly nowadays.

00:10:02 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 2:

Adam Sandler's in it.

00:10:04 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 4:

That's awesome.

00:10:05 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I have to watch it.

00:10:06 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. They're going to, you're going to get upset with Amber's call. Amber, what do you think is the worst Christmas movie of all time?

00:10:16 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 6:

Hi, everyone. Shannon, I am so sorry to say this, but Love Actually is the absolute worst Christmas movie. You know what?

00:10:26 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 2:

They're horrible. Can I tell you something? They're a-holes. They're cheating. So that's one of my favorites. You know this, obviously. You listen to the show. I introduced Wes to that movie last year, and he said the same thing. He's like, this movie is full of horrible morals. I'm telling you.

00:10:39 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 4:

It's bad.

00:10:41 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 2:

But I still love it.

00:10:42 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 4:

I think it's a great movie. I think that it all comes together at the end where everybody kind of finds their way.

00:10:47 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but like my favorite scene of him holding up the sign to me, you are perfect. Wes is screaming at the TV. He's like, but she's married.

00:10:56 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 6:

Right.

00:10:57 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 2:

Right.

00:10:57 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 6:

It's not realistic.

00:10:59 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 4:

I love it. I think that's a great movie. Matthew, you got a great point on this one here. What do you think are the worst movies ever?

00:11:06 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 5:

I think the worst Christmas movies ever are any Home Alone movie after number two.

00:11:10 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 3:

No, let him finish. After number two. I heard him.

00:11:13 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 4:

After number two. I agree.

00:11:14 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 3:

I don't. Three was fire. Three was fire. Kevin, you have the worst taste in movies. No, I like three.

00:11:19 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 4:

You're insane. You know what your problem is, Kevin? You have too much time on your hands. You go to see every single movie. First off, you're the same guy that picked horrible Jack Black.

00:11:27 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 3:

movies for the back in the day. It was funny. Listen, Home Alone 3 is a banger. It is not a banger. It is a banger. First off, it's not even

00:11:36 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 4:

Macaulay Culkin. It doesn't matter if it's not Macaulay Culkin. That's okay. It's some kid that... It's okay with the raspy boys.

00:11:41 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 3:

Kid hasn't done anything since. Next Friday was... Don't blame the kid. Next Friday was Fire and Chris Tucker, wasn't he? Your girlfriend. Wolf.

00:11:49 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 5:

Another bad one was Jingle All the Way 2.

00:11:51 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 4:

You got more? Oh, yes. Jingle All the Ways are the worst, too.

00:11:55 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 5:

I've never seen those. I never saw the same. No, the first one The first one is good, and the first one's my favorite.

00:11:59 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 2:

Okay, okay.

00:12:00 - 00:12:04 | Speaker 3:

With Sinbad. That's a good one. Oh, God. You don't like Jingle All the Way?

00:12:04 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 5:

Larry the Cable Guy?

00:12:06 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 4:

Question for you. Do you think that the Santa Claus movies are good?

00:12:11 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 5:

I like the first two.

00:12:13 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 4:

And then after that, it jumps the shark, huh?

00:12:15 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 5:

After that, it started going downhill pretty much.

00:12:17 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah, there's too much. All right, well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. I don't like this. And by the way, I want to throw this. This is completely off base on this one. the remake of Do They Know It's Christmas that they just did I saw the 2024 remake might be the worst song I've ever heard in my life I won't even do it it's not even worth it I would rather play, you ready for this one I would rather play Miguel than play that No I will

00:12:48 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 1:

I would rather The first season of the X Games League is ending in New Orleans and only one team walks away champion. July 24th through 26th at the Caesar Superdome, watch the world's best skaters, BMX riders, and moto athletes battle for the title. Plus, live performances from Metro Boomin, JID, Subtronics, and Bunt. Three days of sport and music. Get your tickets now at xgames.com.
