It's Mojo on the morning show. Spike has a question to pose to everybody because he knows his worst five minutes of the day, but you wanted to throw it out there. So everybody's got to think of this right now.

00:02:05 - 00:02:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I was just thinking about this this morning, and it's every morning. It just is the worst five minutes of my day. I don't know how you feel about shaving. I hate it. It's such a big waste of time. I always cut myself. I had sensitive skin, so it's always either causing a rash or an injury. And then I got to do it all over again tomorrow. It's like eight hours later. Do you shave every day? Yeah. Really? Well, you could tell if I don't because like yesterday I didn't because I was out late. And then I'm all, you know, stubble and it's just.

00:02:43 - 00:02:52 | Speaker 6:

I shave my neck. That's pretty much it. And then maybe trim a little bit. but i i usually don't do it every day i usually do it like every other or every other other yeah

00:02:52 - 00:03:32 | Speaker 5:

well plus there's that sandpaper couple days in between a fresh shave and then we're actually have whiskers the first like for those first two days of not shaving i feel like it's really rough to kiss meg or my kids or it's just like really scratchy and uncomfortable and especially in the cold weather now i also have dry skin it's just the worst five minutes i hate it's so monotonous And I thought, I'm going to bring this up on the air because for some people, it might be doing the dishes every day after dinner. Or it might be the cold car for the drive to work because the heater's broken. Like, what's your worst five minutes every day? Like, is it putting the kids to bed? What is it that you just dread?

00:03:33 - 00:03:35 | Speaker 3:

That's not five minutes. That's about 55 minutes. Yeah, I know, right?

00:03:35 - 00:03:35 | Speaker 5:

I got one.

00:03:35 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 6:

Do you guys all have one or ready to go? Okay, what's yours, Shannon?

00:03:38 - 00:03:55 | Speaker 3:

Mine is, and I do this usually every other day, to be fair, but it's blow drying my hair. I freaking hate blow drying my hair It's just a pain in my butt And it takes a long time Or at least it feels like it takes a long time It's so stupid but I just I hate doing it

00:03:55 - 00:03:56 | Speaker 6:

Megan what's yours?

00:03:56 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 2:

That was a perfect answer Shannon Mine is taking my makeup off And washing my face at the end of the day I want to go directly to bed So freaking bad And having to peel off your lashes And then put them away And get the makeup remover out And wash your face And put on your retinol No, I just want to go to the theater. That's a process.

00:04:15 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 6:

Yep. I've got something tied for two. So I have two of them. Number one is when I'm leaving to come to the radio station because it takes me five minutes to go around and make sure the stove is off, the oven is off. I am like one of those people unplugging things. Like I have this horrible fear. Like did I leave this on? Did I do this on? Like I have a fear like that something bad is going to happen and it's because I did something wrong. So that's one of mine. but the second one what's for dinner whenever we sit and figure out what we're going to do for dinner what do you want to do for dinner and it's usually the worst five minutes of the day is usually like three o'clock in the afternoon or four o'clock in the afternoon and it's like what do you want to do for dinner tonight and it's funny we should just set a menu up and do that

00:05:00 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 1:

Let's just write the nine things we like to cook and eat and put those nine things on index cards. And we have it. And rotate it.

00:05:06 - 00:05:11 | Speaker 2:

It's all there. It's either in the refrigerator, freezer, or we order it.

00:05:11 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 1:

You know what I mean? But try and decide what you're in the mood for and what you feel like cooking.

00:05:15 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 2:

And then the problem is opening it up to everybody. Because then when you open it up to everybody, everybody's got a different opinion. So this is a good one. Worst five minutes. Worst five minutes. Mariah, answer Spike's question. What's the worst five minutes of the day?

00:05:34 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 5:

Clocking out, waiting for work. That last five minutes, literally, I'm just leaving work now, and there's me and a couple of coworkers that were just waiting for it. It's the longest. It just felt like two hours.

00:05:45 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 2:

It reminds me of when school. Do you remember in school, like the last bit of a class always seemed like it took forever?

00:05:51 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 1:

And they put the clock at the front of the classroom so you can just watch it click, click.

00:05:56 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 9:

You could hear it

00:05:58 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 2:

Rachel what's the worst five minutes Of the day

00:06:03 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 4:

Hey guys good morning So mine is driving to work And I have like Three or four of the roundabouts Before I get to my office building If you guys know where Maple And M5 is Just right by Pontiac Trail So that's my highlight of the day

00:06:22 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 2:

Is it because Okay so you're talking Pontiac Trail not in maple but pontiac trail m5 that is for those that don't know it's the worst because the roundabouts there you always are stopped in the afternoon it's even worse because there's so much traffic going right it's not like a current full like everybody's flowing together the road was

00:06:41 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 1:

too big for a roundabout i mean the traffic flow is too big because you roundabouts you're not supposed to stop you're supposed to keep moving keep merging but everybody people don't get it and everybody hesitates and the cars are coming right off that highway so they're all going too fast. It wasn't a great place for a roundabout.

00:06:57 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 2:

Lorna, worst five minutes of your day.

00:07:00 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 9:

Hi, guys. Good morning. Worst five. I'm with Megan. It's taking off the makeup at the end of the day. I dread doing it. I procrastinate. But I'm also cracking up at you guys. Like, shaving? Shaving. Really? Oh, God. Oh, you poor poor guys. Listen.

00:07:19 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 1:

Listen, by no means Am I discounting anybody else's life or difficulties? This is a personal opinion. What's your worst five minutes of the day?

00:07:30 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 9:

That's hysterical.

00:07:31 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 1:

I'm just kidding. Yeah, and of course you're being sarcastic. I mean, obviously there's horrible things going on in our days and our weeks.

00:07:37 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 7:

You're going down, bitch!

00:07:42 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 2:

Lana, worst five minutes of the day?

00:07:46 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 7:

Putting gas in my car. Oh, that's a great one. Especially if it's cold. Yeah, yeah. It's raining. I need gas in my car now, but I have just enough to get to work, so it'll be an after-work problem.

00:07:58 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:07:59 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 2:

You know what? It's one of those things where you don't like just standing out there, and then they yell at you if you don't stand out there. And then your credit card, for some reason, comes up that you can't get your credit card to work and stuff. It would be such an easy process. But I'm going to tell you this, that that might be the only thing that would make me want to go electric, is not having to put gas in my car. What's up, Caitlin?

00:08:20 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 6:

i hate letting my dog out i love him but he hates his feet getting wet so i gotta like go outside with him in the cold just so he can go pee yeah every time yep and they don't want to come in

00:08:34 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 2:

sometimes my dogs don't want to come in and i'm like come on i'm gonna run inside before me nope oh really yeah he does not like his feet wet i'll switch with you uh worst five minutes of the day for you, Becky? Hi, Beck.

00:08:49 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 8:

I think it was Jackie.

00:08:51 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I apologize, Jackie. We misunderstood you.

00:08:54 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 8:

No, it's okay. So I'm in the dental field, and I'm becoming a dental hygienist, and this is probably the most embarrassing thing, because I have to tell patients to brush their teeth in the morning and brush their teeth at night, and I hate brushing my teeth.

00:09:09 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. But I do it. And flossing, even though we all lie about it, right? What's up, Derek? How you doing? Good. Good morning, guys. Good morning. Worst five minutes of the day?

00:09:22 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 3:

After I got out of the shower and I'm getting ready to walk out the door, I seem to always have to go to the bathroom.

00:09:29 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 2:

It's like, oh, man.

00:09:30 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 3:

Every single time. It never fails.

00:09:33 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 2:

It's the water, I think, that causes that, right?

00:09:37 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 3:

Probably.

00:09:38 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 2:

Sue's got an interesting one because this is annoying to do. Sue, what is it that you hate doing?

00:09:45 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 3:

Putting away groceries. Yes. I was thinking. The worst thing ever.

00:09:50 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

So as I use that new Kroger delivery service where they'll bring them right to my door, I was thinking, how much extra to put it right in my cupboard? Put them away. I'll show you. These are the three.

00:10:00 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 4:

shelves just put it where you feel it fits so i'll get the groceries they should start a service

00:10:04 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 5:

like that yeah yeah i'll get the groceries and then bribe my brother with buying us dinner if

00:10:09 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 3:

he puts them away like he didn't just spend two hundred dollars on groceries uh what's up stephanie last one here worst five minutes of the day putting my kids to bed yes absolute work my four

Is it worse

00:11:08 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 4:

putting it on or taking it off? Oh, taking it off has got to be the best five minutes of your day.

00:11:13 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 1:

It is. Putting it on, you feel stifled, you're packing everything in, and if your boobs hurt, then, yeah, it's even worse. And God forbid you're still a little bit wet from the shower. right extra challenge you could throw a shoulder blade out it looked pretty good are they real
