Mojo in the morning. Last night had a very interesting thing happen to me. Have you ever been blocked by somebody on social media? Friend, relative, co-worker, could be even just an acquaintance neighbor. And then you bump into them in the flesh because you cannot block them when you do that. I yesterday went out to eat with a buddy and we walked out of the restaurant that we were eating at. only to literally be bumping into a person who blocked me on social media, like, I don't know, within the last year or so, and came face-to-face with them and had a very, like, awkward, hey, where it was like a grunt that came back. And then it got even more interesting, and I'll tell that part in just a second, but I wanted to ask this question. Has anybody ever blocked you like somebody that, you know, blocked you from social media and then you actually had to like come face to face with them, like either completely startling, you know, I can't believe this just happened. Or you knew that it was about to happen because you guys were going to like a family event or a party. So where it got even more interesting was the place that I went to go eat has a bad parking situation. So when I was leaving, I had a prime parking spot because we ended up eating so early. I love that. And I'm getting ready to leave my parking spot, and I'm talking to my friend, Jeff, who I went to eat with, and we're just standing there at the car talking while the person who blocked me on social media and that I just had a face-to-face encounter with was trying to take my parking spot because they realized that I was leaving and they didn't want to have their car illegally parked and get themselves into a parking ticket. And I was like talking and talking and talking going, how long should I make this person wait? Maybe I should make them wait long enough for them to unblock me. And honestly, the funny part about the being blocked part was it was their birthday and I was trying to wish them a happy birthday And that was when I realized, oh, my God, I think I got blocked. And it was a fallout that a bunch of people had with this person. But I was one of the people that got to be part of the whole thing. And I'll be honest. I'm one of those people that I never really feel like I get awkward around people that I know don't want to be around me. Yeah. Like I've had people that worked on the show that.

left the show and probably didn't want to talk to me afterwards that i will walk up in public and go hey what's going on how's it going you know i have no no problem i wish i had that you're not

oh really you can't do that no no i wish i could because it seems like that would be so much more

fun oh wow see i i have no problem with that i actually had a uh uh kind of a fairly close friend that honestly was just too much drama in my life that i decided i didn't you know want the drama And I told them, I said, listen, it's just too much drama right now. I just don't have the time for this whole thing. And then I ran into them like a month or so later and I said, hi, like I wasn't going to, you know, there's no drama and just saying hi, you know. But in the end, it was one of those situations too, where it's like you, the worst place is to run into people that you don't want to run into the grocery store on a Saturday morning when you haven't showered and you're trying to get something, the party store when you're coming out with a bunch of booze because you're going to drown your sorrows in everything and a dispensary when you're coming in or out of a dispensary because nobody talks at a dispensary did you ever notice that people will not have conversation at a dispensary see i do really

oh yeah that's where you get the best suggestions from people you talk to the people that work there though you don't really online yeah interesting i didn't renew that because i

felt like i tried to bring conversation up and i feel like i'm bringing conversation up as we're about to take mug shots or something everybody just seems like we're doing something still illegal you know like i remember doing the whole thing where i i talked to one person and i said i go hey this is rally wild but that lady just walked out she was my kid's teacher and i go what do you do for a living and the guy goes he was like random drug test is not happening right now um tony what's going on it's mojo in the morning hi how you doing good have you ever had this happen where somebody blocked you on

social media only to have you bump into them in real life yeah so my old friend of like two or three years we went to school together so he all of a sudden stopped talking to me because he stopped talked to a few people and so he blocked me and then probably like three four or five months later i saw him at a car meet and he came up to me and explained it oh really it was just so awkward it was what it was awkward yeah his reason was well i stopped talking to a lot of people but like we would hang out like every week okay so i'd be like well why specifically me yeah like I have no idea it was just so awkward I wanted to get out of there you know

see I would have wanted to know like I would have said hey tell me what's going on just to see if there was any validity in what they were doing what's going on John

Yeah, I had a long time friend, 20 years we've known each other. And, you know, I've been a single dad for years before I got into our relationship. I got four kids, and she all of a sudden, out of nowhere, you know, it's like if you see people's posts on Facebook, and all of a sudden you don't see posts, I didn't think anything of it. I looked, and it says unavailable. I was like, oh, whatever. She blocked that. I was like, whatever. I'm the type of person. You blocked me. I really don't care. So finally, one day, I run into her at a gas station, and I go, so why did you block me on your social media? She says, well, you got a relationship, and I was like, you didn't get in the risk of me. I'm like, you had two years, and I was single. I finally come and say something.

now you want to say something now with somebody yeah oh so she was jealous and hurt yeah i go like

i go you knew for two years i was single i mean maybe she wasn't ready yeah i think she just wanted that that comfort of okay well i can come see you anytime and you know be with you if i want to and then that situation was gone and that you know i called the fault i told i go was i just a fallback for you i go i don't need that i go you know we're not in high school here so either day I run to her once in a while, and she just still will not talk to me because I'm engaged to the person I'm with, and she's still hurt to this day. I'm like, you've got two years to say something to me.

Oh, my gosh. We made eye contact, and he knew who I was and vice versa, but I just pretended like I didn't see a thing and just kept on with my day.

The only thing good with social media is, wouldn't it be nice if you could block in real life ever having to see some people face-to-face?
