All right, it's Mojo on the morning show. So we're getting some things done around the house, trying to fix up a little bit. You know, it's summertime and stuff. And, you know, when you do things around your house, it is a complete waste of money, right? It's just an absolute waste of money.

Why is everything so expensive?

I wish I could sell my house and rent. I would love to just be in an apartment. It just sounds like a dream to me again, just because of everything breaks and stuff. So we're getting some landscaping stuff done. things that we haven't done since we moved in the house and we've been in our house since Luke was a baby so we're having and this is actually kind of a cool thing we have uh these people doing some landscaping for us and the crew is all women oh really it's the first time I've ever had had that

before is it like a women owned business where this is the thing or it just so happens it's all

women no it's actually a guy that owns the business but it's all women that that do it but they're all part of it yeah it's actually honestly I'll be quite honest with you it's an amazing thing except for when I tell this story it's going to make people laugh thinking that women shouldn't be doing this uh oh okay all right I'm going to be very careful on this whole deal okay so we're getting work done around our house like clean up stuff and then we're taking some stuff out plants out and then we're putting some new ones in just because over time weather has kind of destroyed them snow and things like that has destroyed some of these bushes and stuff so long story short the one the woman who's the head of the crew uh the one that's the foreman of the the crew or for woman of the crew um she sends me a text message to show me the progress that was made because i wasn't home and the text message came to me and the first picture was this amazing looking picture of what the everything looked like i was like oh my god this looks amazing and then two or three more pictures come my way and this is where the funny part comes i she writes down i cut a little shape into those plants so that they look better i think they look great so i write her a text back because of these other couple pictures come in i go looks great but these pics are all of my neighbors. Nah, bro. Shut up. Nah, don't say that. She goes, oh my God, I thought that was yours. Sorry.

Shut up. All the work they did was at your neighbor's house.

And she's got the female emoji with her hand over her head. And I said, that's okay. The neighbor in the one house hates trimming, though. So she might get a little mad. I'll just deal with that. The other neighbor, I think, is going to love what you did for them.

Oh, my gosh. I wish you were my neighbor. Right.

They got a free job out of yours. How do you get the wrong house? I think that what happens is, you know, it's like, you know how in the Midwest, you don't know whose house is whose house? Like, you don't know whose, you can't tell, like, the property lines.

Your neighborhood's funky, too, because you, where's your address? Is it on your house or is it on your?

It's on the house. It's on the outside of the house. I'm trying to think.

So sometimes those are hard to see. Yeah. Do you know what I mean?

But it's also on the mailbox too.

And your mailbox is out front.

It's right out in front.

Oh, so they just genuinely made it. But Shannon jumped out. Oh, poor thing.

But Shannon, she did get most of mine. Like she got it done. But the funny thing is though, is you're exactly right. Like if this was mine, I would totally think that that would be, oh my God, this is the greatest. I've come to my neighborhood. I've just got somebody to do it. Yeah. But.

I'm waiting for the one neighbor, and I apologize to them. That's hilarious. But I'm hoping that she doesn't get mad, but it looks nice. It kind of looks nice. Right. It's funny.

I'm surprised that hasn't happened to me. That happens to me with deliveries and stuff because my address doesn't make sense. Yeah. Where my front door is not on the street where my address is.

Oh, yeah.

I don't know why it is that way because I live on a corner, but my front door is on the street is a totally different street.

No, I haven't had, I haven't had any, uh, correspondence. I'm hoping that they're, uh, away for a summer vacation.

Well, you hear stories about this with people like are getting a new roof.

Hey, I just wanted to make a comment. I had a neighbor that had his house painted, and when he came home from work, he asked who did the job, and I told him what company did it, and they painted the wrong house.

Yes, they did. That was hilarious. He left it, but he wasn't real happy.

How much painting did they do, and how drastic of a change was it for him?

So I used to fertilize for a different company, and every time I would pull up to a wrong house, the customer would sit and stare out their window, and I'd be like, why is this guy staring at me? Honestly, I'd probably do the same.

What's worse is that job was salary. So any time I did that, that would just come out of my paycheck. Oh, no. Okay, that part's dead.

I feel bad. You know what that's like? That's like getting a DoorDash delivered to your house and it's the wrong address. I grab that thing as fast as I can and start chowing on it. What's up, Michelle? How you doing?

I owned a roofing company with my husband. and we got a phone call saying my neighbor's roof got done but mine didn't and yeah their roofing company's crew went and did the wrong house so we had to eat that which is not cheap

oh man and redo the neighbor's house oh my god michelle that's crazy that's unbelievable michelle

But the kicker is, the people were home, and they came out, said hi to our crew, gave them waters and stuff, and let it happen. They never call.

Good morning. I called for an estimate for a roof replacement, and I had gone out to do some errands. They were going to leave the estimate in my mailbox. I come home to find all these guys on my roof. It's gone. They've torn it off. They didn't do an estimate? They just ripped your roof off? The owner had confused the address with another one, and it was gone. Oh, my God. And I went, what are you doing?
