All right, it's Mojo in the morning. Shannon, the topic is titled, Those Shoes Are Hideous. And I can't imagine, I see how you dress. And honestly, I think there's only one outfit I've ever seen you wear where I thought, God, should I say something to her like I don't like it?

00:01:47 - 00:01:48 | Speaker 3:

You can.

00:01:48 - 00:02:04 | Speaker 6:

I'm not offended by you. You're typically, wait, because why? Because of the way I dress? Is there somebody, if somebody says that you don't look good, is it somebody that bothers you? Because when Chelsea tells me she doesn't like something, I can never wear it again. If my wife says that to me, it's over.

00:02:04 - 00:02:14 | Speaker 3:

Well, Wes is very honest, which I actually appreciate. But I'm also like, well, I bought it and I like it.

00:02:14 - 00:02:15 | Speaker 6:

Really? Deal with that.

00:02:16 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 3:

But then I can't wear something around him because I obviously want him to like the way that I look or what I'm wearing. But I don't dress for him. But then it's in the back of my mind if I know that he, like, hates something that I own. Do you know what I mean? But this was not Wes. This was, okay, so I keep talking about this girl's trip that I went away on over the weekend. My girlfriends and I have an annual holiday shopping trip that we take to Holland, as in Holland, Michigan, the best little shopping town in the whole entire world. Seriously. It's so cute. They have great shops. And I always do a ton of shopping. I shop for myself, for gifts. There's only one of me. For myself, for gifts. and there was this one store that we were all in it's called jb and me i'll shout them out because i know they listen and i found two pair of boots that i really liked in fact the boots that i'm wearing right now i got those there and then there were some other ones that were like knee-high boots megan that you would love and so i was lazy and i only took off my my right shoe that i had like worn in and so i was trying both of the pairs of boots like one after the other on my right foot my left foot had my had my normal shoes on and so i called my former friend lindsey over and asked her if she liked the boots and her response was i love the ones on your right foot definitely get those the other ones are hideous big no and i looked at her i was like well the other ones are the ones that i walked in with i own them and have owned them for a couple years So I can't take them back. She was so embarrassed, but I thought it was sodium funny.

00:03:54 - 00:03:57 | Speaker 6:

Right. The craziest thing is you probably have worn those around her before.

00:03:57 - 00:04:05 | Speaker 3:

I was, I had been wearing them all day. Yeah. So you know, we took pictures, like she was, you know, had posted pictures to Instagram. She knew, but she's hated them for hours.

00:04:06 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 6:

You know, it's wild is that I love, like there's these, uh, uh, like they're kind of like, They're sandals, not sandals, they're fuzzy things that you wear, they're kind of almost like... Don't help him. Oh, jeez, sounds like... Oh, son of a bitch. They're okay, so they're really comfortable shoes that you wear, but they're like slippers, yes, that's it. Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, Let's talk about. What is it? They're like Uggs. They're like Uggs. Okay. They're like Uggs. Okay. But they're not made by Uggs. But if they had Uggs name on them, people would like them better. They're kind of almost like generic version of them. And I have them at home. And right now, they're my take the dogs out to the bathroom shoes. Yeah. And Chelsea hates them. But if you put Hermes on there. Or Louis Vuitton. They're cool. Chelsea would find them to be like the greatest things ever. And she would think like they're no different than what a, you know, these like crazy designer stuff. And I always feel like there are certain things that if you put like a stamp of something like that on there, people would look at them completely different. Like, for instance, Yeezys might have been the ugliest shoes ever.

00:05:24 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 3:

They are.

00:05:25 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 6:

But they were the most comfortable shoes ever. So I had Joe, my son bought me a pair of Yeezys for Christmas once. And he said, dad, you got, he goes, you got to rock Yeezys because he says it would look cool. And the listeners would think that it was cool. You're wearing Yeezys. I'm like, I'm not wearing Yeezys. I'll look horrible on them. I tried them on. It was like, honestly, it's the first time that I had ever had sex with a woman.

00:05:47 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 4:

Oh gosh.

00:05:48 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 6:

To feel that was like the greatest moment ever. Yeah, but that's, that's what a Yeezys was like.

00:05:53 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 2:

But that doesn't mean you look good because Crocs are comfortable. And that is the biggest pee repellent I've ever seen in my entire life.

00:06:00 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 6:

But, but, but if you put a designer name on it, see, here's the deal with Yeezy.

00:06:05 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 3:

Those Balenciaga ones were ugly.

00:06:07 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 6:

Yeezy, well, Balenciaga, that's a different brand altogether. Cause that brand to me always just screamed douchebag for some reason.

00:06:17 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 3:

I'm with you.

00:06:18 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 6:

But there were certain things that you could wear, like, for instance, these Ugg knockoffs that I have. If they said Uggs on them, people would probably look at them. Like Kev sent us, remember the pair of Uggs? Did you buy those pair of Uggs, by the way? I want them.

00:06:34 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 4:

That's the hottest ones right now, too. Hold some alone, drop some Uggs. They come in a blue color way, and I think they are amazing.

00:06:41 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 5:

You didn't like those?

00:06:41 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 4:

He hated them. I didn't like them. I was just giving them crap. I was giving them crap.

00:06:46 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 5:

It's not for everybody.

00:06:47 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 6:

That's what fashion is. I hated Jeep Wranglers, too, and then I went out and bought one, too.

00:06:51 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 2:

I hate you.

00:06:52 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 6:

You know? I thought that was the dumbest thing ever. Like, who wants to bounce around in a car that you can't even talk your passenger in?

00:06:59 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 2:

It makes your boobs look good when it's the summertime.

00:07:01 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 4:

Bro, I knew this guy that religiously wore this brand that was disgusting, and it was called Peter Millar. And every time...

00:07:10 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 2:

I thought you were going to say Hobart. I was like, Hobart.

00:07:13 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 6:

i've i've got gotten off the peter millar kick now i'm on the grayson kick i love grayson which by the way now that we're in the city if i don't get mr grayson to like is there a mr give me a i want to be you know shannon is a endorser for a lot of products i want to be although he probably doesn't want me they never pick fat guys no you'd be perfect they never pick they always pick the guy that looks in there looks like shannon's uh husband west they look pretty you know what i mean I think if I was the Grayson guy, I'd have a guy my size in there so that you can say, huh, that can fit guys like him.

00:07:48 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 2:

Is that a Detroit brand? It is. It is. Okay.

00:07:51 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I love that. We got to get Grayson on the phone, man. It just makes sense.

00:07:56 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 2:

I want a print with your face on it.

00:07:58 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. That doesn't make sense.

00:08:00 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 6:

I want merch. I want merch. Sierra, what's up?

00:08:06 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 1:

Lydia told me to ask Shannon about her muck luck.

00:08:09 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 6:

Wait. What? Wait, did you text us that, or why is Lydia asking you to tell me?

00:08:14 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 3:

I don't even know what that is. What is that? Mucklucks are like the generic version that you buy at Walmart of, like, the fuzzy boots, but Uggs.

00:08:21 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 6:

So they're called Mucklucks, huh?

00:08:23 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 3:

I don't have those, but I have Uggs.

00:08:25 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 6:

Is that something we can say on the radio, or does that...

00:08:28 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 2:

Wait, what's Lydia talking about? Yeah, I didn't think that was a brand. I thought that...

00:08:31 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 6:

Lydia, what does that mean, Lydia? I'm confused. It's a real thing. Lydia, why did you tell her to say Mucklucks?

00:08:37 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 3:

Or ask me about them. I've never even heard of that.

00:08:39 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 6:

That's what she texted in. Oh, you text in Mucklux.

00:08:42 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 3:

I did. I texted in Mucklux because that's the generic version of Mucklux. Oh, okay.

00:08:48 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 6:

Oh, so you text that in and Lydia said...

00:08:50 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 3:

I don't think you can tell the difference between Uggs and all of the generic brands. No, but you can feel it. Yeah, that's what I was going to say. You're crazy. But you can feel it. No, you can. No. The other ones are hard. It's like the quote unquote soft wool inside is hard.

00:09:04 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 2:

That or like the actual sole of the shoe itself is really crappily made. Yeah.

00:09:09 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 4:

I just don't like how y'all don't have to wear socks with those. You should.

00:09:12 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 2:

That just freaks me out, bro. Ew. Then your feet sit in these socks. I heard that you don't have to wear socks with hugs.

00:09:16 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:09:17 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 2:

You absolutely are supposed to. Some gross person that doesn't shower every day and never changes their underwear probably started that rumor.

00:09:23 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 4:

Megan, you got one more time.

00:09:26 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 2:

You're acting like I spoiled this information and you didn't voluntarily tell millions of

00:09:31 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 4:

people that. The first one, I'm going to let you get off. The second one, you get a warning. You got one more time.

00:09:35 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 2:

I didn't say it was you.

00:09:36 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 1:

i just said somebody with those traits probably started that rumor janice what's up okay i wanted to say to your point you are absolutely correct i don't know if you all heard about the story i think it was out in la they had like a payless shoe store and they literally put all these high end brand names on the shoes had all these people of status come in i remember this do you remember

00:10:00 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 2:

They were all trying the shoes on. Like, ooh, these are so nice. People were fighting each other. Fighting for the shoes, and they were paid less shoes. Yeah, I'm telling you.

00:10:10 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 5:

It's like, you know what it is? It's those Stanley Cups. You put the name Stanley on it, everybody stands in line and fights over them. If you put the name, you know, Bob on them, you know what I mean? Nobody gives a rat's ass.

00:10:22 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 1:

Hey.

00:10:23 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 5:

Tiana. Oh, sorry, Stanley Cup lady, Lydia. That still is weird that Lydia's on a mic, which I do like having Lydia be able to yell at us. What's going on, Tiana? Tiana. Tiana. Tiana. Are you there?

00:10:42 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry, guys. Somebody just ran to the back of my car.

00:10:45 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 5:

Oh, wait. Who are you? Oh, no. Geez. Are you okay? You were not on the phone, though.

00:10:52 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 2:

Are you okay? Yeah, it's my phone.

00:10:55 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no.

00:10:56 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 2:

Don't do that. It's probably triggering.

00:11:00 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 5:

Hey, hey, tell them your neck hurts. Hang on, bro. This could be an insurance situation. Tell them, tell them.

00:11:08 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 4:

Call those guys that rap on our station. Yeah.

00:11:11 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 5:

Top dog. You got hit in an accident. Top dog. What's that?

00:11:19 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 2:

There's no damn lips. Everything is okay. Oh, that's nice. That's nice. Good, good, good.

00:11:23 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 5:

Were you calling up for this topic or what's up?

00:11:25 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 2:

yes okay so the balenciaga cracks the balenciaga track yeah they are so ugly they're horrible agree yeah the all the younger guys were it's like yeah balenciaga is a is a designer i never

00:11:46 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 5:

understood i mean and this is not just the controversy that they've had it's just an ugly brand. I don't get it. I really don't. Y'all didn't like the sock shoes? No. I like those. Honestly, Gucci is another one of those ones, too, where I'm like that. I think Gucci stinks, too. Gucci has great

00:12:03 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 2:

perfume. Do they? But that's where I will end that sentence.

00:12:08 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 5:

My sons love Gucci. Chelsea likes Gucci. I don't have. It's okay. It's alright. I've tried a couple of things. I had the G belt, and all it looked like was great big belly. Some people were like, Thank you for the call, Tiana. I hope everything's okay. I hope you're safe.

00:12:27 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

00:12:27 - 00:12:56 | Speaker 3:
