Mojo in the morning. It's funny. You had something happen to you that you were kind of like shocked by. You ever get those surveys that ask you how service was or what was going on, and you'd fill it out or you don't fill it out, and you just think that it just goes out there into some kind of like somebody's internet error?

00:02:11 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 4:

Nobody reads those, right? Yeah. Well, they do. They read them. And I feel like a huge jerk today because my internet company sent me one of those surveys. And I don't even know if it – it must have appeared in my email is where I saw it. But it was just a one-question survey that popped up. And the one question was, what can we do to better improve your customer experience with us? Well, I was in a mood, you guys. And so I wrote verbatim, provide internet that actually works. Because my internet sucks at my house. Like, sucks really bad. It's so slow. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. Everything in my house is obviously like I need the internet for from my TV to my phone, you know. And so I didn't think anybody would ever see it, nor did I think about the fact that like it was sent to your email. So your email address and therefore your account and phone number is attached to your spitty survey response, Jan. So I typed that sentence and clicked submit. So yesterday I'm driving to the car I'm going to pick up my dog Charlie from a grooming appointment And I get a call from an 866 Like a 1-866 number I never answer unknown numbers But I was waiting for a call for something else And so I thought oh this must be them So I answered it Turned out to be my internet company

00:03:38 - 00:03:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh no

00:03:40 - 00:04:08 | Speaker 4:

And the guy on the other end of the phone Bless his heart He had the best southern accent ever And he was like you know I see that you responded to the survey that we sent out and he goes, I want to read what you wrote because that's why I'm calling. And he goes, and I quote, provide internet that actually works. And he goes, can you tell me a little bit more about that? I was cringing.

00:04:09 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 2:

You know what, though?

00:04:10 - 00:04:29 | Speaker 4:

Cringing because how I wrote it was rude. No, it's not. And it's true. I wanted to say your internet sucks balls, actually, was what I should have written. But I did kind of feel bad about how I wrote it and that that's the only thing I wrote on there. But they are coming out today to look at my stuff.

00:04:29 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 2:

And that's awesome. And you know what's wild is that these companies nowadays need to start calling you back. They need to do it. And somebody needs to explain this to me in the auto, like car dealerships. You work at a car dealership. Talk to me about this. you guys must get really judged on your customer satisfaction survey because the last couple of times that i've bought cars mona from gordon chevrolet has always said and please do me a favor you know fill this thing out there are i think there every company should be like the car

00:05:00 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 1:

dealerships are you need to to get judged like that because I will say this to you that you don't why are you paying for spitty service I like I first off I would I would say to them either fix this service or I'm gonna go to somebody else well and I told the guy I said I just want you

00:05:17 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 2:

know I'm not the only one my entire neighborhood you are consistently the subject matter of my neighborhood Facebook page I think it's a neighborhood thing it's not just a me thing so I'm gonna speak up behalf of the entire neighborhood and I said to the guy too because then i felt bad i'm like the customer service is amazing yeah the internet service is horrible what do you mean the customer service what are they whenever i call and complain which i have had to do several times not even really complain but say my internet's down i've turned the thing off and on like nothing is working i still don't have internet and they are so great about i talk to a person right away they walk me through it they get it up and running but then a week later

00:05:49 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 1:

i'm doing the same thing maybe they should it is time for me to switch spend as much money on

00:05:54 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 2:

fixing their internet service the people i deal with are wonderful yeah no offense to you and by the way everybody texting in you know what you know what service i'm talking about but i'm not

00:06:03 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 7:

gonna say it on the air because i don't what's going on hello um i say that about a year ago i had a complaint about the store altered state i'd gone there they had like weirdly done something with their return policy so i didn't get all my money back they sent me one of those surveys um And I filled it out honestly, just saying, like, I love the store, but, like, this thing went wrong, and I was really mad about it. And within an hour, they sent me a $100 gift card to my email.

00:06:33 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 1:

That's awesome. See, that's smart. That's a smart store that they would, you know, do that. Because now you'll be loyal to them, right?

00:06:43 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, but do you ever feel like... Oh, yeah, I will.

00:06:44 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 3:

But I also will complain more and see what I have.

00:06:48 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 1:

Very honest.

00:06:49 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 3:

Do you ever feel like too many people are sending you surveys, though, too? Like, I went to go pay my car note at the bank, and the bank gave me a survey with my receipt.

00:06:56 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, the bank, by the way, just give us our money and let us pay our stuff through you, you know? Right. Like, I hate every time I use an app, it always asks me how the app is doing.

00:07:06 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't want to rate you.

00:07:08 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 1:

The problem is that you get that so much in your day, you don't want to deal with it that you don't deal with the ones that really are mattering. What's going on, Joey?

00:07:16 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's going on? How are you guys?

00:07:18 - 00:07:19 | Speaker 1:

We're good. What's happening?

00:07:19 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 5:

it um so yeah i do work uh for a dealership and the survey actually very very important uh because that's the only way that you can tell that the process was easy or hard or if there's lag in the process and that's how you that's how you communicate actually with the customer but

00:07:39 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 1:

what is the reasoning why they always ask us to fill those things out is it that or you guys

00:07:44 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 5:

getting paid money on that deal we we do we actually like i'm not gonna lie to you there are some bonuses there because every every job has that's good like uh yeah yeah that's good

00:07:55 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 1:

though you have incentive yes incentive to make it better then i like that i'm glad you get a

00:08:00 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 6:

bonus on that jessica what's going on well i have a good story for a survey yeah it's not a bad one i didn't complain but you know the ones where they say do a survey get for the drawings yeah i did the survey through taco bell and i won that free taco bell xbox no you didn't no those don't exist

00:08:18 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 3:

i refuse to believe that that's crazy it does every time you turn it on it makes a taco bell

00:08:24 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 6:

dean oh my god that's the greatest tell me you have the best advice you can't win if you don't

00:08:30 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 1:

play good for you jessica can you send us a video of that because i would love to hear that how much

00:08:37 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 6:

to buy it from you it's my daughter's now we're gonna have to talk to her about that that's an

00:08:44 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 4:

awesome win what's up emily hey how are you good what's going on so i work at a bank i'm not gonna say which one because it's a very very big bank and part of our bonus uh is based on our surveys our customer experience survey so anyone if i have a customer and they give me anything less than and nine it hurts me tremendously so anything less than a nine kills me and I tell all my customers like hey if you have a good experience with me please make sure you take nines and tens for me because anything less than that is not good for us and even if the questions are not about me they're still about me they will trick you and say how was the financial center but if you put an eight, then I get destroyed. Wow. I didn't realize that. Yeah. But that's interesting

00:09:40 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 1:

though. The problem with us doing the surveys all the time, it's taking our time though to do this all the time. Why can't we just say, hey, thank you, you know, and deal with it that way? I wish

00:09:52 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

it was like that because one bad survey can literally destroy you where you have like 10 good surveys.

00:10:00 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 2:

It's okay. You can move up, like, 0.01, but then you get one bad survey, and you go from, like, 89 to 70. Yeah. That is crazy.

00:10:09 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Amanda, what's up?

00:10:11 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 2:

Hi. So, I actually call the numbers on the back of vehicles that ask, how am I driving? And they always say that they're driving perfectly. They're using their turn signals because you never know if it's going to promote the other person's driving and if it's going to make their day better.

00:10:28 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 5:

That's so nice. You call the how I'm driving things. Yeah, all the time. And you do it when they're driving good or bad or both?

00:10:38 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 2:

It doesn't matter. I just call and compliment them.

00:10:41 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 5:

And what do they say to you when you compliment them, when you give them, like, a nice one?

00:10:47 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 2:

The company always says that they'll let the driver know, and I don't know what their situation is or how they go about it or if they get any kind of bonus, but maybe.

00:10:57 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 5:

That's wild. I would love it if people did it for us. Like, if I just say, if I say something funny, just say, hey, that was funny. Hey, Mike, that was funny. We should actually have that. We should have a customer satisfaction survey. Yeah. But here's the problem, though. You know, none of us would be able to take it if they didn't like it. No, absolutely. Destroy us. You're blocked. We're not talking to you ever again.

00:11:21 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 4:
