Mojo in the morning show. So I would like to go on record with something here right now. I'm going to go on record by saying he's not perfect. Yeah.

00:02:59 - 00:03:01 | Speaker 2:

Who are you talking about? Yeah, who?

00:03:01 - 00:03:02 | Speaker 4:

Tony Travato, our boss.

00:03:03 - 00:03:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm excited for this.

00:03:05 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 4:

He is not. So we have talked about our boss from time to time on our show. His name is Tony Travato. Whenever I say his name to people, people always go, why do you say Travato? And I said, I don't know. For some reason, when I came here to the radio station, they told me who the guy was going to be. And I looked it up, and I'm like, he sounds like the type of guy that would say his name like Travato. And so Tony is a father. He's got three beautiful kids. And he's got an awesome wife. His wife, Brooke, by the way, does it all. I know this guy does it all around here, but his wife, Brooke, does it all at home because he's always here. So Nicholas, Christopher, and Emily are great kids. And a story happened the other day that came up that makes me think that there are maybe some other parents that are like this. If you are a parent that listens to the show and is willing to admit that if I quickly asked you what grade is your kid in and how old is your kid, you would have to think about it for a second. Then you are Tony Travato. because, and I want you to call us up and tell us if you've ever had this happen to you and ever had it come back to bite you in the ass. And by the way, Shannon and Mike are out of the studio right now because they're both dealing with kids things. Mike is chaperoning a field trip at the zoo and Shannon is at Smith's end of the school year function.

00:04:38 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 2:

How fun.

00:04:39 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 4:

And the remaining people who don't have any other kid events here in the studio so we got Megan here in the studio with us we got the new guy Kev, we got Mojo and I'm going to call our boss and see if he's not on a meeting Hello? Tony

00:04:57 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Yes sir

00:04:59 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

Hi

00:05:00 - 00:05:07 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo, Megan, and Kevin in the morning here. What's going on? We're the three that's still remaining on the show right now.

00:05:08 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 2:

What'd you do? Did you kick everybody else off the show?

00:05:10 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but you can admit it. We're your three favorites, right?

00:05:14 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, you are, except the picture that pops up when you call me is not very good.

00:05:21 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 1:

Why? What is the picture that pops up when Megan calls you?

00:05:24 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 2:

Every time I see Megan, she's absolutely inappropriate. sounds like me we need to discuss this megan dear hr very offensive is it a middle finger emoji is that my picture on your phone it's not an emoji it's an actual picture because every time i see

00:05:42 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 1:

you that's what i see so tony um quickly before we get into to anything here let's ask you a quick

00:05:51 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 2:

question name your children and tell me how old each one is go uh well i have joe jacob no that's wrong oh come on go uh well i have emily she's eight i have christopher i think he's 12 and nick

00:06:10 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 1:

just got his driver's license so he's 16 all right all right is that right yes 17 seconds so I think it's close. I don't know. Brooke will tell us for sure if she's listening. She'll have to call us up and tell us or text me. So, Tony, you were at school the other day for a function for your baby, Emily, the cutest little girl in the world. And you were, what, at cross country?

00:06:33 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 2:

So we went to track, and I walk up to see Emily, and I wanted to see her run. She had two track meets for the entire year. so i walk up to um i see somebody that i know which is like great because you know i'm walking in late as it is and it's mrs doggett who is unanimously one of my you know all of my kids favorite teachers and she's awesome mrs doggett who teaches in milford and i said hey has emily run yet and she says i don't know what what grade is she in i said without hesitation i said she's in fourth grade and as soon as i said that i'm like is she in fourth grade and keep in mind i just told you she's eight yeah and i'm like oh god she's not in fourth grade and mrs doggitt without hesitation said she smiled and said no she's not my daughter's in fourth grade i said you're right she's in third grade so wrong again i stand by the fence and i'm like oh my god she's not even in third grade what grade is she in he still doesn't know there and she's standing by all the second grade kids And the only reason I know that is because there's a sign that says second grade. So she's in second grade. Not only was I off, but I was off by two years.

00:08:12 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 1:

Now, that's a funny story because I think that that's a typical Tony thing. But if you ask Tony, Tony, name the five songs that are in A rotation right now on Channel 955.

00:08:23 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. David Guetta. Yeah. Post Malone.

00:08:29 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 1:

yeah all right the guy knows this stuff i'll tell you the test scores on tony you actually had another embarrassing incident happen with your kids in school and that was you had no idea what school your kids went to oh yeah when we first moved here

00:08:46 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 2:

this is great i am winning father is father's day this weekend now it's coming up though you got time okay good i'm gonna get best dad ever cards for all these so yeah when when we first moved to milford um i went to a function and somebody said uh oh you know we're talking about kids or whatever small talk they said what school do your kids go to i'm like i have no idea i couldn't tell you you put a gun to my head i said i could drive you there but i don't know the name of the school and i said i think i know the school districts but i don't know the actual name of the school

00:09:21 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 1:

it's terrible all right so we're here don't worry if you want to i don't know if you got a meeting or something right now you can listen i'm going to take calls from people who are just like tony on this one here that are people in anybody can call on this one that have zero idea their kids

00:09:37 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 2:

age where they go to school any of that stuff please bail me out because i feel uh like a total

00:09:44 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

loser of a father here's the here's the thing your kids right now are in their school which you don't know the name of and they're probably making you your father's day gift at this moment as we speak And Mrs. Doggett is probably sitting there going, make him something extra.

00:10:00 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 3:

Extra special, like your name, age. You know what you need? You need to have that thing. You know how they always say that you should have a picture of your child, an updated picture just in case, God forbid, something happens to them? Tony needs to always have that updated idea so he knows what's going on. All right, we'll talk to you later, boss.

00:10:18 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 4:

Okay, see you guys.

00:10:19 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 3:

That's our boss, Tony Travato. Oh, we should have asked him about that program director in Chicago, too.

00:10:24 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, no, let's not bring it back up again.

00:10:27 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 3:

Josh, what's going on? Hi, what's happening, Josh? Josh, do you know your children? By the way, you know what you need? Remember back when I was younger, they used to have on milk cartons. When you'd buy milk at the store, they had a kid's name or kid face of a missing kid. Josh is like, yeah. Josh, are you there?

00:10:51 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm here. I'm here. So I always have trouble with my kid's name, and I didn't think about this when I did it, when he was born. but I actually have my son's name and birthday tattooed on my wrist.

00:11:04 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 3:

Oh, geez.

00:11:05 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 2:

And all the time, all the time I'll be filling something out or somebody will ask me, oh, how old is your kid? And I forget, and I have to look down, and I see his age on my wrist. Or I'll remember his age and then realize, oh, my God, my tattoo's wrong, and I have to look down, and then I realize my tattoo's right, and I have the wrong birthday. I forget all the time.

00:11:25 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 3:

Listen, I'm going to say this, that you brought them into this world. I almost said the word thing. You actually brought them into this world, and then you probably support them, right? You're actually good about making sure that you pay their bills? Yeah. That's all my dad did. I think you're good. You're all right. What's up, Eli?

00:11:50 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 2:

Mojo, I'm going to call you out, man.

00:11:52 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 3:

Why?

00:11:52 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 2:

I do it all the time

00:11:59 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 3:

I actually You know what I do Eli I do when I'm trying to talk to Luke I do Joey, Jacob, Luke I actually have thrown my dog's names in there too Henry, Louie I do that all the time and I have no idea Why that is I'm talking to the person

00:12:15 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 1:

I forget my name all the time Does she really? Each kid You get a huge kid. It's crazy.

00:12:22 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 3:

How old are you? I'm 18. Okay, so what, high school? Did you just graduate high school? Yeah. So it becomes a situation where, as a kid, you probably sit there and you go, does my mom actually love me, you know?

00:12:37 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 2:

No, it was perfect because every time she wanted something to do a Toronto house, she never picked my name.

00:12:44 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 3:

That's actually a good point on that. Thank you for the call, Eli. And why the hell aren't you in class right now? Are you done with school for the year?

00:12:52 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 2:

Say that again. How would I be in class? No, I'm not in class now. I have a break until an hour or so.

00:13:04 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you're calling us from school right now as we speak. Yeah. I love this. This is great. Listening to us.

00:13:11 - 00:13:14 | Speaker 2:

I've been listening to your show for three years now.

00:13:14 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 3:

That's the best. Thank you. And I like the fact that you're listening. I mean, are you going to graduate as an 18-year-old, or are you going to be one of those guys that's like a seven-year senior?

00:13:26 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I don't want to leave high school. It's too much fun.

00:13:29 - 00:13:33 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I'd love to go back to high school, too. I would do it in a second. High school is good.

00:13:33 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely not.

00:13:35 - 00:13:46 | Speaker 3:

Take care of yourself, okay? All right. You too, man. All right. We'll see you. Megan, somebody just said you can relate to this one here. They have their parent always misspelling their name.

00:13:46 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 2:

Uh-oh.

00:13:47 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And, oh, hold on. And actually, Sherry wants to admit to the fact that you misspell your son's name, Sherry.

00:13:56 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so he needed his Social Security for work, his Social Security card. So I got it out last year. Mind you, he's 18 this year. And I realized that for 17 years, I was spelling his middle name wrong. What's his middle name? It's McCormick, like the spice. But I forgot the K, or in fact, I got the C on the end. So I must have been majorly drugged up when I put it on the first certificate. Yeah. So for 17 years, I spelled my son's name wrong.

00:14:22 - 00:14:28 | Speaker 3:

You know what? That's all right. You're his mom. You birthed him. You can do anything you want to, right?

00:14:29 - 00:14:29 | Speaker 4:

Right.

00:14:30 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for the call. Take care of yourself. Matt, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.
