Moto Casino. America's social casino. So it was actually a fun weekend, but I got to be honest, and I'm going to bring this up, and I'm going to sound like a party pooper on this one. I didn't have as much fun. And I think that the reason I didn't have as much fun at the Saturday's Irish and Ionia was because if you ever go out with a group of people and you have more than five or six or seven or maybe eight, maybe eight is enough, it becomes a kind of a hassle because there's too many people. And we have already a big show. So we've got myself, Mojo, Spike, Shannon, Megan, Mike, KP, Lydia, and we didn't even have Katie come with us on this thing. but we had you brought a friend kp you just mentioned sam shannon had her fiance spike had his uh his girlfriend there and it became all these people and then that guy adam that lives in west michigan and he's a listener to show that that guy was with us and it just became too many people like it became so many people that it got to a point where i felt like we were uh you know constantly, like, not being able to, like, spend time with people. I think I spent more – I did spend more time definitely with Megan and with Lydia, who you guys, like myself, didn't bring anybody with you.

00:03:54 - 00:04:02 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I was going to say, I think the reason that we kind of banded together was because we didn't have people with us. I didn't know everybody was bringing people.

00:04:03 - 00:04:06 | Speaker 4:

Would you have brought your brother if you would have thought that?

00:04:06 - 00:04:08 | Speaker 7:

Probably not. I don't like him that much.

00:04:09 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

So I want to ask the listeners this. if the listeners uh your thoughts on this do you if you work for a company and you travel for work and you guys get to go away to do trips and stuff like that do your company say no to spouses because we have done both we have brought significant others with and then we have not brought significant others and i feel like the trips that we've done where we go on morning show boot camp or we've done iheart radio music festival and it's just us we spend so much more time together we you know do and honestly one of the big reasons I didn't want to stay in West Michigan and I was gonna stay and then I thought I'm not gonna stay but then I thought to myself I felt like a third wheel and it was weird for me to stay and then be by you know be by myself because I didn't have anybody with me and so I thought to myself I'm like you know what I'm just gonna go home and I'll sleep in my

00:05:00 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 1:

in my bed what are your guys thoughts on that i know you guys had fun i mean in oh yeah we're

00:05:04 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 2:

with people well i follow your lead on that like we when we started talking about planning irish on union back in january you said you were bringing chelsea oh i did not oh yeah yeah and

00:05:14 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 1:

spike i never did spike she was never going to come and actually last week megan was trying to convince her to come no chelsea doesn't come with me to to stuff and the reason she doesn't come is i have learned through a long time in marriage that it is too hard to make your significant other entertained and be able to take care of the listeners that it's it's you know very hard to try to spend as much time with the listeners as you possibly can and focus on them when you're worried about making sure that your significant other is not getting bored listening to all the radio talk

00:05:45 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 2:

and talk about the show and stuff yeah so i mean i could be mistaken but this is back early when we first started planning you said you were bringing her that she hadn't been i don't remember if you said she hadn't been to grand rapids before to check it out or she wanted to hang with mike and ali but i but that's where i was like oh okay so we're like we're bringing people then so that's when i invited megan which i also needed to designate a driver because we were going friday right from my second broadcast so it was a long day so i was glad that she took the day off of work to drive me but um but no i was just following your and you also told us you were and you were going to invite um other radio people from the other company that we're going meet up with us out there yeah michelle and greg were gonna meet us at our broadcast so i just got the vibe like oh this isn't just a morning show hang thing because we've done that we've done both with like you said with the iheart radio music award sometimes you would bring chelsea so then

00:06:37 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 1:

i would invite my wife and then sometimes we wouldn't i actually wouldn't i i i don't i mean i i do i i've never bring chelsea i really don't not usually but you have before i've even said this before and i listen because it's not because of chelsea it's not because of chelsea uh i don't want chelsea to come i'll be honest with you chelsea actually says it it feels like work you're not working when you're bringing somebody when you're bringing me and you're having to entertain me and she then feels like she's she's like you know a nuisance for that to happen but i feel like it would be so great for us as a show to get to spend time together and it just be us And what I realized and where it became kind of a pain in the butt was when we were trying to figure out if we were going to go get something to eat or not go get something to eat, we literally were talking like, well, we're going to have to do like the early bird special somewhere because there's no way we're getting into a restaurant if we don't do four o'clock.

00:07:31 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 4:

You guys are all jerks because I said last week, I'm going to make a reservation at this place. Should I do it? And people are like, for how many people? I was going to make it for 10.

00:07:41 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:07:41 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 4:

I was going to make it for 10 people at that rooftop place. And then nobody got back to me. I'm like, okay.

00:07:46 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 1:

And the other thing too is the hardest, the hardest part, actually, it was funny because I actually said to Spike's girlfriend, I'm like, I've got to eat or this is not going to happen. And if we don't go now, we're not going to do it. And she looked at me and she goes, she said something to me. And I think she, was she had a little bit of cocktail? Oh yeah, she was drunk. She looked, she looked at me and she goes, maybe you should just go get something to eat and we'll catch up with you later with a six pack. And I said to her, I go, okay, I think I will do that. I will end up leaving and going to get something to eat. But it was tough. And honestly, I don't know, thoughts on this. Megan, how do you feel when it becomes, because I don't want it to become a situation where it's like I'm putting it on you. But I was thinking about this with you and Lydia and myself kind of hanging together. And we did spend a lot of time together. We actually did get to chit-chat and talk and stuff like that. But do you think that we should do a trip where it's just?

00:08:39 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. And I love the significant others. I don't want it to be like that. but we can have nights out for that yeah for sure and i'd rather have like local nights out for that where we can get really slappy and all go home but i do think well first of all i didn't know everybody was bringing significant others i was definitely left out of this conversation i was like oh i would have brought a friend like i straight up didn't know um but yeah yeah i just i don't know it felt like i didn't get to spend any time with you guys and i'm the kind of person where I never get to spend time with you because I'm on my own little island here in Toledo anyways.

00:09:15 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 2:

We were all together, though. We were all together the whole day.

00:09:18 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 4:

I think this was a good one for us to bring significance to, but I definitely think there are ones when we shouldn't. It should be the show, but this was like a party. We only had obligations for two hours, so I just thought this is a great chance for the big, big mojo family to hang out together. I think something like an iHeartRadio music festival definitely should just be the show. I think that's I mean and I've I've done both Obviously when I was married I had Andrew with me At everything And then for Five years Six years I came solo And honestly I have fun both times But I do think that If we are gonna You know designate something To just be the show We need to make that Very well known Because we didn't talk About that before I think the next ones We didn't talk about that Before this I'm gonna do that

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Did we really hang

00:10:00 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 2:

Go ahead, Mike. I did hang most of the time with just you guys. My wife didn't come to the very end. My wife came for dinner and then drinks afterwards.

00:10:06 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 1:

And actually, that was, you know, and I think you even kind of felt weird asking her to come out. Because I kept asking, where is she? Where is she? And you said, she's not going to come out until maybe later.

00:10:16 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 3:

Well, I asked Mike earlier, too. Like, is Allie coming? And he said, yeah, she's going to meet us after, like, you know, after the drunk tent stuff because she's pregnant and shouldn't be in a big beer tent full of idiots. But, like, she met us for dinner afterwards. So I was just following everybody's lead. If I knew you wanted to be – we didn't really talk about it, but Megan didn't have to come.

00:10:33 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 1:

I think – no, this is what we're going to do. And it's not Megan or Wes or anything like that or KP, your friend. It's just in general. I realized when I was there, kind of – and the other thing, too, is we're going backstage. That security guard wanted to kill us with the amount of people that were going backstage. Like, that was kind of his – they were like, how many people are coming back here? But I think that we – next time that we do something, we should do it just with the group, no significant others. and then everything stays within the group.

00:11:00 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 4:

But do we really think that we were going to be in the mindset to have heart-to-hearts? Like, I can't even remember what happened yesterday.

00:11:06 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 1:

Well, no, but you're going to get to hang out with people and you get to learn more about it.

00:11:10 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 4:

I think it's better when we forget everything that happened. All right.

00:11:13 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 1:

Well, because, again, you were over-served.

00:11:16 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 4:

No.

00:11:17 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that funny how that happens? Over-served is the word for that. That's how it should be. But, no, and I think that, listen, I had fun. It was a really good time. I thought earlier in the day it was great. It was a lot of fun. And then the this is the thing I give you the the to relate on when you go into a restaurant with 17 people or ever try to get 17 people a table and then you feel bad because others don't have a table. Like I felt horrible when you guys walked in and like, you know, you guys are standing there. I'm like, does anybody want to sit here and you can eat like let's switch places.

00:11:49 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 3:

Well, you disappeared. We were back. We were doing the stage stuff. And then I was like, where is everybody? And then and then Lydia messaged and said, we're come here. We're at the Brick and Porter Guys, come on by So I thought you had a big table Or I wouldn't have crowded If I knew there wasn't room But we could have made reservations You said last week that Mike was making Our accommodations and everything Is it Mike's fault?

00:12:16 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 1:

Mike, did you not make that? No, because I'm a planner and I would have planned it No, I did, I got us a great

00:12:21 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 2:

No, it wasn't on me I got us the Grand Rapids Brewing Company stuff I told you that That wasn't me. We were all supposed to be looking for a place to go to dinner. Which I had one. Mike's fault. No, Mike. It's Mike City. It's Mike's fault.

00:12:37 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 1:

When you come to Detroit, now let's do this. Let's do a trip to Toledo so that Megan has to plan it.

00:12:44 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 4:

We blame Megan for everything that goes wrong. I just moved to Tampa. Weird.

00:12:51 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 1:

All right, so here's the deal. So I'm going to be better at speaking up and say that the next one that we do, the next shenanigans that we have, which I don't even know when that is or what it's going to be, but the next shenanigans we have, we're going to have it solos, just everybody here, just the group, and then we all share one room together.

00:13:12 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 3:

I know.

00:13:14 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 2:

I just went to Tampa, too.

00:13:15 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, honestly, I'm going to say this to you. When we first started the show, that was the kind of thing, like our trip. Oh, yeah. And we did go on a lot of trips or do a lot of stuff together, and it was always just like, you know, the people that were on the show at the time. And I will never forget the night that we all stayed in one room. The guys stayed in one room. The girls stayed in the other. Girls meeting that was what?

00:13:39 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 3:

Actually, I was in the girls' room. I know. The company was so cheap. But no, we've done everything Where we've done big trips, festivals Where we've taken show and interns and everybody And then we've done it where just the three of us And I like all of them I don't care what we do

00:13:54 - 00:13:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, good, so you have a significant other And good for you

00:13:57 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 1:

No, I was your significant other on Saturday

00:14:00 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 3:

But we were all still hanging together I don't know why you feel like we weren't hanging

00:14:05 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 1:

I was, Megan and I were together And it was just like being in a marriage Because we hung together all night And I got no sex from her at the end of the night

00:14:12 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 2:

And we bickered the whole time.

00:14:14 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 1:

And we did. We argued. We told each other to F off like five or six times. We did. And it was pretty amazing. And it ended with ice cream at the end of the night of Killwins.

00:14:23 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 4:

If we do a show and we stay in the hotel, as long as there's more than one bathroom for the show poops, because I can't stand all you guys. Oh, my God. How many times do we go to the bathroom?

00:14:31 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

And then the other one was poor Adam. Adam, you know what? You're a great guy, but I'm going to give you a little crap right now. I had to go to the bathroom so bad, and I had to go up. And you guys all just left and left me with Adam. All of a sudden, I'm getting ready to get out of the elevator. I go, what are you doing? And he goes, I'm going to go with you. And I said, Adam, I got to go to the bathroom. He goes, well, I can just hang in the room with you. And I'm like, you're not hanging in the room with me. What? I said, you stay right here. You stay right here. I was like, I felt like I was.

00:15:00 - 00:15:08 | Speaker 3:

like I was dealing with my dog. Sit. Stay right there. Do this whole thing. You can't come watch me duty. You know what I'm going to

00:15:08 - 00:15:13 | Speaker 2:

do? I'm going to go around the office today. I'm going to follow him and right when he's about to go in the bathroom, I'm going to go in with him. Go in with him. You have to.

00:15:13 - 00:15:29 | Speaker 3:
