All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. Good to have you guys here with us. Just got done with taking some time off, a little week vacation. All of us did. We back. It's happy. Everybody looks so good. We're back. You know what it's like? it's like coming back from your christmas vacation you know at school and everybody's wearing their new clothes i don't know what it is actually nobody's wearing yeah i was gonna say i've had this t-shirt for quite some time kevin walked in and i go kev you look like you lost weight i thought you lost weight the first thing you said man it looks good yeah uh shannon you look good thank you i don't know rested yeah you look rested do they not have sun in in I think it's so funny.

00:02:24 - 00:02:35 | Speaker 1:

I'm probably the darkest I've ever been. Are you serious? Yeah. Really? Yeah. But I don't really like going. Yeah, naturally. Because normally I spray tan. Skin cancer twice. You're not really going down in the sun a ton.

00:02:35 - 00:02:43 | Speaker 3:

I'm looking at you and I'm thinking myself, and we had a really, what you missed in Michigan, because I know you were gone the entire time. It was hot. It was humid.

00:02:44 - 00:02:45 | Speaker 1:

It was the same in France.

00:02:45 - 00:02:45 | Speaker 3:

Was it?

00:02:45 - 00:02:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh my God. It was almost unbearable.

00:02:47 - 00:02:48 | Speaker 3:

You do look differently though.

00:02:48 - 00:02:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:02:48 - 00:02:50 | Speaker 3:

I don't know what, is it a glow or something?

00:02:50 - 00:02:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh.

00:02:51 - 00:03:17 | Speaker 3:

Merci. Well, she's... Look at that. I see you later. Did she just swear at you? No, she said thank you in French. Oh, is that what it was? Yes. You knew that? Sure. Je m'appelle Kevin. Oui, oui. Oui, oui, oui. Well, it's funny because of... I'm looking at you and I swear to you, maybe it's a time change or something like that. Because what time would this be for you normally?

00:03:17 - 00:03:20 | Speaker 1:

Six hours ahead to like noon, lunchtime.

00:03:20 - 00:03:32 | Speaker 3:

This would be lunchtime. Yeah. All right. Are you saying she looks hungry? No, I am hungry. Where are you getting at? Do you know what time she showed up to work today at? Normally she's here at like 5 a.m. or 5.10 or something like that. You were here at what, 4 or something?

00:03:32 - 00:03:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I could. Yeah, my body is so screwed up. And I didn't land until 8.30 last night. And so I was like trying to not sleep on the flight because I wanted to go to bed as soon as I got home. And then you get home and there's a million things to do, right? So I was trying so hard to like leave that all for today. But yeah.

00:03:50 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Quick question for you. Because I've been feeling this for like the last few days because I was off, went and visited family, our son and my brothers and sisters in Chicago. But then we hung out here. We had people come to visit us. I feel like I've started getting on Chelsea's nerves, like maybe 4th of July, like maybe actually the, you know, the Friday of being off. And then on Saturday, I thought, oh, God, I think she's about at the point where she's ready for me to go back to work. and then yesterday I kind of had this and honestly it might just be my anxiety going off like oh my god don't annoy her don't annoy her but it was one of those things where I felt like I spent too much time with her like sometimes you don't have enough time to spend with your significant others your family and stuff and then there's times where you're like okay I think they're ready for me to go back to work was she dropping hints like hey what are you doing today like started no we spent a ton of time together like we did a lot together Went to lunch, went to breakfast. We played golf together. I can't play golf except for, you know, I can chip and putt and stuff. And we really enjoyed doing that. So she was golfing and I was kind of like helping her. Like some people, a couple.

00:05:00 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 2:

cannot golf together because they fight yeah we do not like we have great times golfing together and spending time together but then i just started feeling like oh my god i think i'm getting on her nerves like you know what i mean like suffocating like do you ever feel that way or because this is something i think we're guys do guys get on their girls nerves more than girls you really

00:05:19 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 1:

yeah in what way of course how i just think that like i i'm speaking for myself here i'm used to doing things a certain way and so if there's somebody who's like west is was always around and telling me to do it a different way that irritates me big time like i started feeling

00:05:36 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 2:

like i was getting very set in my ways i feel like i was getting clingy like i was starting clingy yeah and i don't know if that if that was the case you had your head on her lap the whole time just laying on her like a third dog in the house i was humping her leg like all i wanted to do was do that you know what i mean like i was like this is great i'm getting like some alone time yeah but i i at some point like did you ever feel at all when you guys were together like you

00:05:59 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 1:

were like okay this would be nice so not on honestly not on this trip i i was very happy and welcoming of all of the time that we got to spend together because we needed it so badly um but what was i gonna say i just lost my train of thought even this morning like we woke up and wes was like oh it's gonna be so weird to have like a good chunk of the day without you because we were with each other the entire time. The whole time. Oh, I know what I was going to say. We acknowledged last night on the way home from the airport that this was the first trip we took together where we did not get in one single fight.

00:06:31 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Wait, hold on a second. That deserves an applause. Yeah, let's do it. Clap those hands. Yeah. That's actually good because if you remember from past show topics, they had to get the, what is it called? The fight hotel room or what was it?

00:06:46 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 1:

The breakup rate. The breakup rate. Every hotel has a breakup rate. That's crazy. If you need to get a separate room.

00:06:50 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 2:

Growing, though, that's all that means, man. Growing in love, can spend a week together. That's amazing. Beautiful, man. That is amazing. I will say that. That is amazing because I will tell you this. When I get in a hotel room, I'm like all over Chelsea's ass. Immediately. Because I'm like, seriously, I'm just thinking that this is, like, we went to Chicago and we stayed in a hotel room, and as soon as we got in that hotel room and that door closed and I got the bags all ready there, I'm like, all right, jump on the bed and jump. It's like, no. Hotel sex is the best sex. It is. It's like you become a different person. I don't know what it is. I mean, you're thinking to yourself, it's like, I get to do it in a place where millions of people have already done it. Like, have they changed the...

00:07:30 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 1:

You don't have to be quiet because who cares?

00:07:34 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 2:

Well, it's a different bed, too. You know, you're in the bed and you're thinking to yourself, okay, I can actually, if I want to, really mess this bed up and I don't have to clean the sheets. If you have a room with a view, are you closing the sheets? I mean, closing the blinds? We had a room. So we had a room in Chicago that was unbelievable. I'm sure the views were nothing like what Shannon had over in France. We had a room that was amazing. And out of one of the windows of the room, you could actually see Lake Michigan. Like it had Lake Michigan off in the distance. And out of there, I'm going, all I kept thinking to myself was, hand up against the window. It didn't happen. But I was thinking to myself, that would be like the most amazing thing. How was you? You had an Airbnb. How did that Airbnb?

00:08:15 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 1:

Airbnb for most of the trip, which was so beautiful. Very haunted, which I'll talk about later. Haunted? Oh, my God. It was built in like 1751 or something. So, yeah, we had some company in the form of spirits, I think. Really? But we stayed our last couple of days in Paris, and our hotel room had a view of the Eiffel Tower, and it was very, very cool.

00:08:38 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 2:

Can I ask you a question? Do you have a professional photographer taking pictures of you? How do you get these pictures? because there were some pictures that you had, and obviously there was one picture where you had somebody take the picture because there's people walked in the front of you guys.

00:08:50 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:08:51 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 2:

But I'm looking at you. Every day you had pictures that were up there, and I thought to myself, is there a person following you with a camera, paparazzi?

00:08:59 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no. No? No. Who took the, how did you take these pictures? Us, asking people.

00:09:05 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:09:05 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, leaning our phone up against stuff. Yeah.

00:09:08 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 2:

Like, I can, like, I don't know my angles. I don't know. I mean, every woman knows their angle. Every guy does not usually know their angle. And I'm looking at these pictures. They looked like it was something out of, I don't know, it was like. Power magazine. It was, well, no, I mean, I would even go further than that. I was trying to keep it local. No, I'd keep it, yeah.

00:09:29 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 1:

Oh, thank you.

00:09:30 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 2:

It was crazy. Do you do the Megan old technique where you videotape and then screenshot?

00:09:35 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 1:

No, but Wes was really into like videoing a lot of different situations. Yeah.

00:09:41 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 2:

I mean, look, these iPhone cameras can do wonders, bro.

00:09:43 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 1:

And so he was putting it on cinema. No, for real. I'm telling you, yes. There's a mode called, like, cinema or something. Yes. Oh, cinematic, yeah, the video. Cinematic, yeah. Yes, yeah. They shoot movies on these things. And that's what it was. That's what he was doing.

00:09:57 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Are they selfies, like self stuff, or what are they doing?

00:10:00 - 00:10:02 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no, no, no, no.

00:10:02 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 4:

We would set up the phone somewhere.

00:10:05 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 3:

Do you ever worry that somebody's going to come and snatch your phone, though, when you set it up?

00:10:09 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

00:10:10 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 3:

I don't want my phone stolen in another country.

00:10:12 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 2:

The craziest thing, if you watch these TikToks, there are guys and girls, too, mostly guys, who know parkour. That's the type of person I don't want to steal my phone. If I have my phone, I'm taking a selfie, you run by, you snatch it, and you jump off a car, over a trash can, down three levels. You deserve it. You deserve it at that point, bro.

00:10:28 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 3:

We went to, a year ago, we went for Chelsea's birthday to London, and they kept telling us, do not have your phones out. They kept saying that people will drive by on a bicycle, take your phone from you. And so everywhere we went, I'm telling you, we would walk in and out of restaurants, in and out of hotel, whatever. They would say to you, hide your phones, hide your kids, hide your wife. But no, they would tell you that they would have to, that they would snatch, because what it is, is people go over there and they're like, oh, this is beautiful. And they're taking pictures of it.

00:10:57 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 4:

There's obviously certain areas that like I, I kept my, all my stuff very close to me and we didn't, we didn't go in a ton of touristy areas, but then there were other areas where like you can kind of, you know, like if somebody's asking you to take a photo of them, I felt comfortable being like, okay, well you take one of us too, you know, but.

00:11:14 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 3:

What a gimmick that would have been.

00:11:15 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 4:

I mean, sure, for sure.

00:11:17 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 3:

Will you take a photo of us? Yeah, stupid, written all over me. Will you take a photo of us, boom, they're out of there. Yeah. Because the thing is, once you open up your phone to give, to let them, because a lot Sometimes people open up their phone instead of just having them go right to the camera mode. They got your phone. Yeah. They can go in it. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I also want to throw this out there. To my friends that like to take pictures of fireworks or video fireworks displays, what are you... First off, the pictures never turn out. Oh, no. You never get a great picture of fireworks. And I saw so many people that we went to two fireworks that they had, two different places. One was the town by us that we were at, and then the other one was a lake. And everybody's got their cameras up, and they're looking at him up in the sky, and I'm going, it never, even on that cinematic setting, it doesn't look good. What are you doing? And I don't understand how people are trying to think that they can get something out of that particular firework.

00:12:16 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 4:

I think it's a moment thing when it comes to fireworks. You're so overwhelmed by seeing it. You feel the need. We're wired now to do that, where we just take out our phone and we have to take a picture in that moment.

00:12:29 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 2:

We're programmed. Yesterday, I deleted all but one of my firework videos because I thought I said, I'm never going to use these. Once you see one firework, you've seen them all. How many red, blue, yellow colors go up in the sky that look different? I don't need this. I don't get the grand finale.

00:12:44 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 3:

I always get it. It's like right at, it's like a boom, it's like a boom, boom. And that's kind of like the picture that I got. But all right, we got a great show for you today. We are back. We're live. It's interesting. We had a couple of posts over the break. You know, we were posting pictures of what we were doing. And I think people kind of understood that we were off on vacation. The funniest are the people that are like, enough of the reruns. You guys stop playing reruns. You guys need to be working right now. and a person texts back or comments back and says, what do you got going on this week? Well, I'm on vacation this week and I want to know. And I'm like, all right, well, listen, I get it. You know, we appreciate it. We appreciate that you guys are back into the show and that you're excited about the fact that, you know, you want to listen every single day and you want us to be here every single day. And that's good. Kevin, next vacation is going to work the entire time. See. By the way, Kevin was on vacation mode from my turn, text messages and calls. I tried to call him every day. I knew he was in town. I'm like, oh, I want to see what he's up to. See what he wants to go off for drinks. Because I knew that the girls were gone. You were gone. And this guy ghosted me like a second date update. I'm sorry, bro.

00:13:59 - 00:14:04 | Speaker 4:

Do you want to know what's so funny? The opposite of that. If I responded to anything, he was like, get away from your phone.

00:14:04 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 3:

You're on your honeymoon. No, no, no. He did. I wrote her in her story. It was a post in your story of pictures. I said, put your phone down.

00:14:11 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 1:

You did.

00:14:12 - 00:14:20 | Speaker 3:

Get it off cinematic mode. I wanted you guys to bring us home a Paris baby or a France baby.

00:14:20 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 4:

00:14:23 - 00:14:25 | Speaker 3:
