You guys did the trip that you did the blended family thing. And something happened on this trip that was interesting between Smith and Lucy.

So this weekend when we were up north, my family, myself and my two kids, and then my boyfriend Wes and his two kids, there was snow up there, which was kind of nice for the kids to go outside and play in the snow. And at one point, my two little ones were outside playing, and I looked out the window of our Airbnb to see Smith with his tongue stuck to the side of my Buick Enclave. He was just standing there. and apparently Lucy had triple dog dared him to lick the snow off my car and it did get just very lightly stuck at one spot and he was too scared to try to move and Lucy must have told him not to say anything. So the poor little guy was just standing there, not screaming or crying or anything, just standing there very still with his tongue stuck to the side of my car and thank goodness he was totally fine but we did have a good discussion of just because your sister tells you to do it does not mean that you should go out there and lick all the snow off the side of my car.

I wonder how many calls 911 gets every winter from the copycat, Christmas story, freezing flagpole, tongue.

Yeah, well, and the funny part is, it wasn't even just that. It wasn't even just like stick your tongue to the car. It was, she had him lick the whole side of my car. You know, think how disgusting that was. And he did it. He did it. He got about three quarters of the way through before I think his tongue got so cold or stuck or whatever happened.

Isn't it funny how it's the rite of passage for every older sibling to tell their younger sibling, I dare you to do it, and they will do it? Because I've said before that my brother Bill and I shared the same room together. He dare you to do it.

Tried to jump over the fence. My foot got caught, and I went headfirst into the pavement, and it hit along the pavement and cracked my head open. Oh, jeez.

Yeah, so my siblings would always dare to a competition of who could eat the pot. to go the fastest or whatever it may be. And as soon as they got down to the last bike, they would switch with me so that I would win the competition, but then they would get two popsicles.

That's so funny.
