So Lucy is 10 and a half. The half, very important always. And I just don't know what to do here. I know what I, my gut is telling me to do, but she was asking me last night if I could drop her off at the mall tomorrow with some friends to walk around. And she said, I could come to the mall too. I could stay at the mall, but the girls wanted to walk around by themselves. And I said, no way, because I, I'm just a crazy person about that kind of stuff. I mean, you guys know this was the first summer I let her go to the dang park by herself. And I know I feel like I'm being overprotective, but I also feel like it's the mall. There are some interesting, tricky people at the mall. And I also know that they're not going to stay in a group. There's like five or six of them that are going to that want to go. And I know what will happen is like Lucy and one of her other girlfriends will break off and want to go to Altered State or Sephora. And then, like, they're not all going to stick together. But she said that all of the other girls' moms let them do this.
