All right, it is Mojo in the morning. What's going on? I'm sorry. We were on. What are you talking about?

00:02:09 - 00:02:22 | Speaker 7:

Secrets. I'm just asking another question. What? What question? Did she do anything fun over her break? That was worth talking about. That was not what you were asking. It wasn't, but it was a good backup.

00:02:22 - 00:02:23 | Speaker 2:

Okay, don't worry.

00:02:23 - 00:02:24 | Speaker 8:

Come on now.

00:02:24 - 00:02:47 | Speaker 3:

I don't know what you did, by the way. I had all these plans and they all fell through I was supposed to go to Puerto Rico And then my GBFF Kind of messed that up for me So then I booked a trip to New York And then I went to check in For my flight and I realized that I booked The wrong day for the flight So the flight had already happened Like two days before that and I had no idea

00:02:47 - 00:02:51 | Speaker 2:

Oh god I just got this out of my head

00:02:51 - 00:03:02 | Speaker 3:

So I stayed home Puerto Rico But I did, I got in my gym bag, if anyone cares. I worked out like crazy, and now I feel like good.

00:03:03 - 00:03:07 | Speaker 2:

I ate and drank my face off, so I'm glad you did something on me.

00:03:08 - 00:03:11 | Speaker 7:

How did the GBF mess up the trip, though?

00:03:11 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 3:

So he's from Puerto Rico, and I had told him I was going. He's like, yeah, we should definitely go. I just need to make sure I can get work off. I just need to make sure I get work off. And he kept telling me, like, give me another day, give me another day, give me another day. How do you not plan that, like, months ago? I had this planned months ago. I told him, like, maybe three weeks ago. And it took him until we had a week before we left for him to be like, okay, yeah, I can definitely go. And then we go to look at flights, and it's, like, twice the price. Oh, yeah. And I'm like, you needed to tell me this a long time ago. But I should have just booked it without him regardless, so.

00:03:46 - 00:03:49 | Speaker 8:

What did you do, Kevin?

00:03:49 - 00:03:50 | Speaker 7:

Man, I didn't do nothing, bro.

00:03:51 - 00:03:52 | Speaker 3:

Did you have Josiah last week? I did.

00:03:53 - 00:03:56 | Speaker 8:

Did you staycation? So you stayed here in town?

00:03:56 - 00:04:36 | Speaker 7:

I'm the worst when it comes to what we do during our time off. And I feel like I was a little depressed this week, too. Really? Yeah, I feel like I was family stuff going on. It's a lot going on. Trying to figure out where Joe about to go to school, even though he got accepted. Do I financially, like, can I make that work? Last school he went to was tuition. And that stretched me, took resources I had that probably I shouldn't have done. So, like, now I'm battling with that in my mind. So I was kind of, like, just on the couch for real. But the World Cup was on, so I watched a lot of soccer. Oh, my God. We watched a lot of, well, not a lot of Serena, but a couple Wimbledons here and there, and then Josiah and I, in preparation to go see Minions, we watched every single Despicable Me and every single Minion movie, and then did some things like that. Did a little bit of work with the DSO.

00:04:37 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 3:

That looked cool.

00:04:38 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 7:

That was fire. It got rained out yesterday, which was crazy. Imagine you're on the stage. We're at Greenfield Village. It's the Big America 250 event.

00:04:45 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 2:

That's where it was?

00:04:46 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. So they've done it. I love Greenfield Village. So Devin Gillian did it on the third woman named Cecile Sharp. Hers got rained out. So I said, you know what? I'm going to do on the fourth and the fifth. You prepare for this. Come share the stage with me. Let's do it together. So.

00:05:00 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 2:

So we did it together on the 4th. Then I was brought back on the 5th yesterday. And it was beautiful. You could see the storm coming. And then right in the middle of our thing, the lead chair and the violin is like, we have to stop. Then the conductor is like, we can't go anymore. And he turns around and is like, all right, guys, we're going to wrap right now. And it starts raining and the bloods and all of that. And then a wedding.

00:05:22 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 1:

I hate to say this. I said this to Chelsea yesterday. when it started raining, you could sense that it was going to rain because the temperature just dropped drastically. And then you're like, okay, here comes the storm. Yesterday I said to her, I go, unless you're having a graduation party or in your case that DSO event, I am loving this rain right now. I've never been so excited about rain than it was yesterday because it's been so miserably hot. It was kind of nice, but I'm sorry to see that. I over

00:05:54 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 2:

break. Yeah, what'd you do again, too? Tore my

00:05:56 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 1:

meniscus in my right knee.

00:05:57 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 2:

How the heck did you do?

00:06:00 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 1:

I was well, I walked in I initially toured, I 100% believe, walking into the radio station on that front curb of this place back in wintertime. Outside? Yeah, because you know how it slopes a little bit? Did you trip? No, I slipped all, walking into the building. So did Angel

00:06:20 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 3:

did the same thing from our

00:06:22 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 1:

I slipped and my knee kind of twisted. You know how his feet go when he walked. And it hurt. Listen, I'm going to tell you something. I already called David Feminino and the accident response team. Feminino! And then I re-aggravated it or re-injured it or re-tore it when I was in a sand trap golfing. And I twisted it. So I had to call up Dr. Beatty over at U of M again. He picks up the phone. He goes, shoulder okay? yeah shoulders okay and he goes um anything else like what's going on I go it's right knee this time so it's kind of like one of those things over break or how did no so I so I when I slipped and you know initially hurt it I believe during the winter time I didn't uh do anything about it because it just hurt me for like two or three weeks this one was so bad uh that it's well you know swelled up and stuff so he got me a x-ray and an mri and sure as enough it's a torn meniscus you got a drain i got arena no you know what's funny is he did mention to me though we were talking about like what to do because he said to me he goes i don't think that surgery is going to work for you like because i've cleaned out my meniscus and my knees before but he said to me he goes um we can do this thing called prp where they basically suck the blood out of you and pour the blood back india and i'm like i don't know if i want to do that but uh then it was like we're gonna you know but i was like give me something for this because it hurts like a son of a bitch

00:07:55 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 2:

and it hurts during the show like right now like lack of movement it'll stiffen up yeah like it

00:08:00 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 1:

it it's better for me if i stand up and just stand on it the whole time than if i'm sitting down or moving it's tough it's tough though with this control board i don't know it's your knee So I injured myself with that, and I went to fireworks, and I sweat my ass off. I'm not going to lie to you. I took three showers a day, I think. It was so hot, I took three freaking showers.

00:08:23 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 2:

I think I took my first shower this morning. Really? I woke up, I was like, yeah, I need to freshen up. Oh, my God. Let me run in here. Let me soak up one time.

00:08:31 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 3:

Vacation. That's the summer. I always have to ask my son. I'm like, when was your last shower? Be honest with me.

00:08:38 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 1:

you took the kids away, right? We talked about that. So you took the kids away.

00:08:43 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:08:43 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 1:

Did you, you were here for a few days, right, before?

00:08:46 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 3:

I was, we left on Tuesday morning, real early Tuesday. Yeah.

00:08:49 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 1:

What about Bianca and Lydia? What did you guys do? Oh my God, wait, Lydia, did we post those pictures of Lydia?

00:08:56 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 2:

She posted a picture? I haven't seen it yet. In Nashville.

00:08:59 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 1:

Lydia in Nashville, Tennessee. Looking cute. Did you meet a cowboy?

00:09:05 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 3:

I did not, sadly. Wow. Look at this picture.

00:09:09 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 1:

Wait, hold on. Where are they at?

00:09:10 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 3:

Lydia, you guys, I was like feeling myself.

00:09:14 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 1:

You were feeling yourself.

00:09:17 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 3:

I was, yeah. Is Nashville like you think you could live there? Oh, yeah, I thought about it. I was like, wow, this would be so fun, but I'm not young enough. There's something about a cowboy hat and cowboy boots that's just like makes you feel a certain way.

00:09:32 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 1:

Lydia, hold on a second. Oh, my God. I'm looking at these great pictures of Lydia like looking at her in this white cowboy outfit and stuff and then her and who is this friend

00:09:44 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 3:

of yours? That's my cousin Myrna.

00:09:46 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 1:

Cousin Myrna on Broadway there and then all of a sudden her special needs dog.

00:09:54 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 3:

No, that's why. You guys, I met another special needs dog on a farm in nashville and i always tongues out too oh wait that's not pablo nope her name is coco what that's not pablo no she's a farm animal wait they need to meet wait this is not pablo with the tongue out no but the other one's pablo so i posted two oh okay oh i see did you guys see the video of my dad singing the iraqi national anthem at the world cup he was so cute oh my

00:10:24 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 2:

Are you serious?

00:10:25 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 3:

How was the sleeping arrangements? Oh, I ended up getting my own bed. I knew that would happen. That's good. My brother was so embarrassed.

00:10:39 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second, what are the words to the Iraqi national anthem?

00:10:43 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 3:

Your guess is good as mine.

00:10:44 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 1:

Really? Listen, I will say that, though. Knowing that Lydia and her brother sent her dad, well, took her dad to Toronto to a World Cup game. So cool. I looked at Josiah like, you got to step your spirit up. You got to step it up, bro. This little Visa gift card ain't going to cut it. I'm telling you, this little Hallmark card ain't going to get the job done.

00:11:09 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 2:

When does Josiah need to start putting up some good- Tomorrow. Next year. Immediately. What about Bianco? Bianco, you didn't get married, did you, over the 4th of July week?

00:11:20 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 4:

No, but do you want to hear something funny? Me and Bryce did a music video for, like, a song I wrote about him, and the video looks like a wedding engagement video. Wait.

00:11:29 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 1:

Is that what they're calling them now?

00:11:30 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 4:

What? Music videos? Yeah, yeah. I don't have it yet. Don't rage it. You have to have something from it, some behind the scenes. I do, I do, I do. Send right now to the group chat. Where did you do this at? I don't know. Some mansion in, like, Washington Township.

00:11:47 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 1:

Wait, so you said this is a song you wrote about him?

00:11:50 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. and then we did a music video about it and it was so cute what's the song called um i like you but i didn't i didn't upload it or anything yet i have to do the marketing for it anyways but this really says everything i want to say i like you um can i play in the dirty tomorrow No, no, no. We got to wait until it releases. But anyway.

00:12:18 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry.

00:12:20 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 4:

I have my marketing. She's got to clear this out. Don't I get like the first preview of it or something to debut it? I'll give you guys a preview. Don't worry.

00:12:28 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 2:

Wait. Wait. So this is the thing that.

00:12:32 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 4:

It was so cringe. I can't. These videos are gross. Play it. Play it. It's like me and my wife's like pissing it. Play it. Play it. Play it, Kazi. Do you want me to play the. Ew, I can't. I can't. Yes, you can.

00:12:45 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 2:

I cannot watch these. Real quick, I want to stop for one second.

00:12:49 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 4:

Ew, I'm okay.

00:12:49 - 00:12:56 | Speaker 2:

This is a thing that 20-year-olds do. They make songs and then music videos for each other.

00:12:57 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I guess. I'm not, I'm low-key not mad, though. Shoot, I cannot play this. It's sappy, cute, but I want to hear it. When they're 80 years old and they look back at the I Like You video,

00:13:07 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 2:

what if she plays a song for us and it sounds exactly like the song that she made for her dad?

00:13:14 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm not going to lie. This guy used a little bit too much auto-tune on me, so I'm like, either I sound really bad or he just doesn't know what he's doing.

00:13:20 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 2:

I want a clean version, though. It's all clean. No, I'm saying like... Auto-tuneless. Can you bring... No, I want to... Can we plug it into my thing here so it plays not... I want to play it through the control board.

00:13:31 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 4:

Can I play a little bit of the chorus for it?

00:13:32 - 00:13:33 | Speaker 2:

No, bring your phone in.

00:13:33 - 00:13:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wait, she just sent us. I sent you videos of the song. Oh, hell yeah. Is this the video? Oh, I hate this. Oh, my gosh. My parents are going to see this and be like, what are you doing? Damn.

00:13:54 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 3:

Ew, I hate my life.

00:14:02 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 4:

Ew, I can't. This is like the Chris Pratt-O's concert. Bianca, he's a good boyfriend, Bianca. He was like, Bianca, I hate this so much. What are you doing? He's a good man.

00:14:15 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 3:

He's having his head and his body. Oh, my God.

00:14:20 - 00:14:36 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wow. This song, you sound amazing. Real quick. I know you have a naturally great voice. Why did they auto-tune you? I don't know. We're working on it. We don't like the producer we worked with. We're going to redo it.

00:14:36 - 00:14:49 | Speaker 2:

Can I just ask, the home of this Washington Township home, Are these people like up north in Charlevoix And they look at their security cameras And notice that you two guys Are like on the back patio

00:14:49 - 00:15:31 | Speaker 4:

00:15:57 - 00:16:08 | Speaker 3:

00:16:17 - 00:16:20 | Speaker 4:

Anyways, I went to Caseville, and I went to Grand Haven, other than that.

00:16:20 - 00:16:21 | Speaker 3:

Oh, great.

00:16:22 - 00:16:26 | Speaker 4:

You know who did share a bed with her brother? It was Bianca when she was on her trip.

00:16:27 - 00:16:29 | Speaker 3:

Wait, the trip to Grand Haven?

00:16:29 - 00:16:32 | Speaker 4:

I had to share a bed with my brother, and he stinks.

00:16:33 - 00:16:37 | Speaker 3:

That must be a Chaldean thing, that you guys share beds with each other.

00:16:37 - 00:16:42 | Speaker 4:

Well, yeah, I guess it was me and my mom, but I don't know. I think my mom and dad wanted to sleep together, so.

00:16:42 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 3:

You think? Well, they did. So you didn't do boys and girls? like you didn't have dad no no no your brother no it was me and my brother but like we were

00:16:51 - 00:16:59 | Speaker 4:

00:16:59 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 3:

00:17:55 - 00:18:04 | Speaker 1:

Well, I wasn't calling for the topic. I was calling to talk to Lydia about the Usher and Chris Brown concert that I didn't get to go to, but I won tickets for. Wait a second.

00:18:04 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 3:

Why did you not get to go to?

00:18:07 - 00:18:08 | Speaker 1:

They never sent them.

00:18:08 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 3:

00:18:12 - 00:18:19 | Speaker 1:

Do you think that she feels less than Emily, your girlfriend, that you've been seeing her? Do you think she feels less than that you haven't written a song about her and done a music video?

00:20:11 - 00:20:20 | Speaker 3:

bishop state community college we want you to hear what our students educators and business leaders

00:25:41 - 00:26:27 | Speaker 2:

have to say my name is metarica terry lamille and my major is general education some of the obstacles i have overcame at bishop state is proving that i can show up consistently even when my life was heavy. There are moments where I still feel overwhelmed by balancing work, leadership, parenting, and school, but Bishop reminded me that I'm capable of growth and not perfection, that I'm supported as long as I'm committed to being a better person than I was yesterday. My peers can depend on me. I'm there being poured into, but some of those students don't know that the faculty and staff are really there for them. So when they don't know that, I'm that resource that explain and show them that they're here to help us.
