Tyler Reddick here from 2311 Racing. Game night's fun until someone spends five minutes lining up one shot. Chalk, breathe, re-chalk, still aiming. While they figure it out, I fire up Chumba Casino. It's Mojo on the Morning Show. Cav and his son, Josiah, have an interesting way that they communicate with each other when they're at Cav's house. And this is pretty funny. If you're a parent you could maybe be or a kid you could probably relate to this so we moved to the new

00:01:33 - 00:02:39 | Speaker 7:

place uh it's exquisite love the new vibes love creating my space that fits me and speaks to me and has elements of josiah so he feels welcome and that the home speaks to him as well so i spend a lot of time downstairs in the living room because that's like my statement room where i put all my cool oh it's a two level yeah i got it look i got i got exactly what i asked god for man he blessed me so two level right Josiah his room is upstairs like to the right kind of like in the corner area and the living area is downstairs to the left so like the complete opposite spectrums the complete opposite sides of the householder where we're typically located at any given time and I realized very quickly that yelling Josiah was not gonna work like first off he can act like he can't hear me which I know he does a lot of times and I just don't want to yell every single time that I need him. So I was like, okay, let's solve the problem and make it a Christmas gift. Let's get walkie talkies. Let's get walkie talkies, bro. We got walkie talkies, 15 different channels and it came with three like little additives. You got the earpiece, you got the little waist

00:02:39 - 00:02:43 | Speaker 3:

clip band. Don't you guys both have phones? You know, there's a walkie talkie function

00:02:43 - 00:03:16 | Speaker 7:

on the, on the new update now. I haven't got him. I've been looking at the, like the Apple watch. I know he doesn't have a phone. He doesn't have, he doesn't have. Oh, good for you okay but i want to get him apple watch but yeah yeah that is hysterical the best thing is like come in josiah josiah come in and then obviously he's like playing roblox and stuff so he doesn't come immediately he'd be like can't talk right now on roblox just here on side like josiah i need you to talk what dad over it's so good it's so fun man by the way my niece

00:03:16 - 00:03:30 | Speaker 3:

got little walkie-talkies. She's four. She got walkie-talkies for Christmas, and when we were over there, we went over there on New Year's Eve, and she was picking up the conversation from a DoorDash driver on the east side. That's amazing. So beware. Do you remember

00:03:30 - 00:03:36 | Speaker 4:

the old NexTel phones that were walkie-talkies? Yes. Oh, yeah. Oh, my God. I love those.

00:03:37 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 8:

Drug dealers had those. Thanks. And so did me. By the way, this is no different than if you have a teenage kid and they will call you on their phone. Oh, that's me. To ask you what's for dinner. Oh, that's, I face

00:03:53 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 4:

my dad in the same house. All the time.

00:03:54 - 00:04:12 | Speaker 8:

All of a sudden my phone will ring, and I don't know if you know this, but my ring back for Luke is Anaconda for some reason from Nicki Minaj. Wow. So it's like, my Anaconda don't, my, and I'll pick, I'll go, hey, what's up? And I'll go, hey, what's for dinner? And I'm like, where are you? And he goes, I'm up in my room. I'm like, you can't just come out and say anything. No.

00:04:13 - 00:04:30 | Speaker 3:

Why would I get up? But wouldn't you have him do that over yelling? To Kev's point, I hate it when I'm like, hey, you know, Smith, can you go tell Wes? And he's like, Wes! Mom said! I'm like, no. I could have done that. So I'd rather have the phone call than yelling.

00:04:30 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 8:

My neighbors, the Smetanas, their dad never yelled for them. He had the whistle. So if he needed them or didn't.

00:04:37 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 3:

The loud whistle?

00:04:39 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 8:

And he would do, it was with his, yeah.

00:04:40 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 3:

I can't do that. I wish I could.

00:04:41 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 8:

He did three ones, boop, boop, boop, and the three meant get your ass home.

00:04:45 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 4:

I knew every kid in the neighborhood had a different whistle from their dad, and you would be like, Lindsey, your dad's calling you. Like, you knew each one.

00:04:56 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 8:

By the way, when we talk to these callers, you got to talk in walkie-talkie talk.

00:05:00 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 6:

So you've got to say over when you're done with your sentence. What's up, Brett? How are you doing?

00:05:06 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 4:

Hi. When I was five, my mom had one of the Next Health two ways. Yeah. Maggie was just talking about that. And we were in the middle of Speedway. And my grandfather had come across and said, why did you pull your sister's pants down? And everyone started to stare.

00:05:24 - 00:05:30 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. You've got to be careful of what's said over the things. Over. Brett?

00:05:31 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 5:

They don't get it.

00:05:32 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 7:

Over and out, Brett.

00:05:32 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 6:

You're not playing along, are you, Brett?

00:05:37 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 7:

Brett.

00:05:38 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 6:

He's just like, over and out. Over and out.

00:05:39 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 1:

Over and out. It's on a different channel. Hannah. Good morning. How are you guys?

00:05:46 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. Over.

00:05:49 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 2:

Over. We had an intercom in one of my houses growing up. Oh, Rich. Richie Rich.

00:05:55 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 5:

What's it like being a part of the 1%?

00:06:00 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. My dad really cut me off young.

00:06:04 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 5:

Let me guess. You had a pool, didn't you? And your friends always spend the night at your house because you had the good snacks. It was on the lake, yeah. Yay!

00:06:12 - 00:06:13 | Unknown:

Rich!

00:06:14 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 5:

Rich!

00:06:14 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 6:

Did you also have one of those things where you have a vacuum?

00:06:19 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 5:

What is that called? Oh, in the wall. No, yes. In the wall.

00:06:22 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 6:

They have the in-the-wall vacuum.

00:06:24 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 5:

Rich people said that's why. it comes out of the side of the wall and you can vacuum and it goes like down into the basement hold on wait how old are you before you're serious now i'm 22 central vac yeah central

00:06:36 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 6:

never heard that so i've heard of like rotor so hannah on this little speaker system could you listen to things other like could you did you just talk to each other or could you listen to radio or

00:06:47 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 2:

anything on the thing we would actually listen to your station all the time on the intercom I love it. Oh, no, I can't make fun of you.

00:06:53 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 6:

Those are kind of cool. So I have an iPad on my wall, and the iPad on my wall turns on the little speaker systems that we have, like the little, like... Sonos type of... Yeah, Sonos. And people will come over all the time and go, oh, my God, that's so cool. I'm like, it's a freaking iPad. I had a guy just cut out the thing and put it in the wall. That's a good idea. And it's pretty cool, and it charges it while it's sitting up there. But you can't talk, but you can FaceTime on it. So if you want to, you can FaceTime from it, but you've got to get your face right up To the side of the wall.

00:07:22 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 7:

If I get OD rich, I want to, like, you've seen those movies where they have the chef and then they send the food up. Oh, like a conveyor? Like elevator? I want it straight to my bedroom.

00:07:35 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I'm sorry. How about a laundry chute?

00:07:38 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 7:

Oh, we had one in my grandma house, but when the clothes get stuck, you got it.

00:07:41 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God, I love the laundry chute. Have you seen the vacuum ones I have now? Y'all in these vacuums. Well, it's not me. I see it on TikTok and I go, oh, I wish. one day when I win the lottery. It's like the vacuums, but they do it for your laundry, too, so your clothes don't get stuck in the chute.

00:07:56 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 6:

So, the laundry chutes are great. They're great if you don't put, like, things through it other than laundry. Like, when your kids, like, put bottles of water and things like that.

00:08:09 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 4:

Shoes.

00:08:10 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 6:

Remember our old boss, Paul Corvino, lived in that really badass house in Grosse Pointe, and he had a bat pole. He had, like, a... What? He had this literal old bat pole you opened up this closet closet that was it looked like a bookcase kind of like batman the old batman tv series you'd open it up and it had a pole there and it would go down to

00:08:30 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 5:

the downstairs level it was the coolest thing to the bar and you'd you'd come out of it like an armoire yeah that's how you got out it was so crazy what's up alex hey we have a smart house

00:08:42 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 2:

everything's controlled by alexa so every room has an alexa in it and you can have alexa make an announcement and we do that at dinner for our three kids that's awesome dinner time and then they all come downstairs because i can't stand yelling that is the coolest that's actually a

00:08:57 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 6:

great idea too i like that or do it tiffany's way which is tiffany's way is a little less

00:09:03 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 1:

expensive what do you guys do tiffany um growing up because i'm older i'm almost in my 40s we used to have vents in our house that would um connect my sister's room to mine so that's how we would

00:09:15 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 6:

talk to one another through the vents that's priceless yeah that is so good oh my god the the vents that you can talk to each other through yes i love it thank you for the call i appreciate

00:09:28 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 3:

This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

00:10:25 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 1:

My name is Patrick Pettway, and I am getting my Associates of Science and General Education with an emphasis in business administration. To me, it was a no-brainer. When you go out here and you're looking for funding to go back to college as a 40-year-old man, I got six people in my household. The extra money just doesn't just grow out of trees. For me to be able to be accepted through FAFSA and to have Bishop State pay for all of my tuition, not only that, but the curriculums, you know, they make it so easy to understand on their website. Like I said, I'm a 40-year-old man, so I don't use technology too much, but it was very understandable where I needed to go. It was extremely fast. These past two years, things have just moved in a total different type of way. It's like its own moving entity to see things manifest the way that they do.

00:11:10 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 2:
