mojo in the morning war of the roses busting cheaters i don't know the uh whole dance culture i've uh obviously seen the show but never really followed it the dance moms thing but But I know that there's a lot of people, including, you know, co-workers of ours whose kids were in dance and part of that whole thing.

00:03:19 - 00:03:29 | Speaker 1:

Lots of out-of-town competitions and events. No, my kids. Oh, thank God. I did, though, growing up. So I know I'm aware, you know, of.

00:03:29 - 00:03:43 | Speaker 5:

Is it like any activity, like sport or whatever, where you do spend a lot of time with some of the other families and other parents? Yeah. Is it unusual for a dad to be that involved? Or is this something that is not unusual?

00:03:43 - 00:03:56 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I saw a lot of dads involved. It's way more moms. But that's not to say there were definitely dads that were just as into it. And I know some of the girls that I danced with, like, there was only dad. Yeah. Right.

00:03:57 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 5:

She didn't recognize that name and doesn't know. And follow-up that we did later was that we still don't have any clue exactly who that particular person is that he sent the flowers to. and calls to that number aren't being well-received. They're going right to a voicemail. I actually wonder if it is... Ooh, what was that? Are you okay?

00:04:19 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 7:

Something in there. Trying to get it out, but...

00:04:23 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 5:

Okay. I wonder if it's not really one of the other moms or if it's just a situation where this guy's got time, you know? Right. Because it sounds to me like he's...

00:04:32 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 1:

There's a three-hour block of time. Yeah, unaccounted for.

00:04:35 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 5:

Yep. It leads to them, you know, going and doing their thing. But are there any any parents that or any person that has ever caught their significant other cheating in the cheating surrounded their kids, youth activities? 844 Mojo Live 844-665-6548. Like, are there any other dance moms that are out there? And Marie, we've had another. Wait, are you the same Anne-Marie we talked to already today or no? No, no. We got a lot of Anne-Maries. You're a first-timer? First time, long time? No, long time, long time.

00:05:11 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. Welcome back.

00:05:12 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 5:

We welcome you.

00:05:13 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 1:

It's always great to call in. Thank you. We love you.

00:05:15 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:05:15 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. I just wanted to say that I think maybe he could be dropping her off, but leaving, like someone picking him up in the parking lot, and then he leaves for a couple hours. Yeah.

00:05:24 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:05:25 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 1:

He doesn't need to be going in or hanging out in the parking lot. he could be having someone pick him up because he knows that his car can be tracked by his wife.

00:05:32 - 00:05:32 | Unknown:

Wow.

00:05:33 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 5:

It is interesting, isn't it, to think that you've got a three-hour time to kind of pretty much do whatever you want to do, you know?

00:05:40 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 4:

Yes, yes, yes.

00:05:41 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 5:

Where you can kind of get away with it and be living this other life. And that's not to say that he's actually doing that. This guy obviously is doing something. He's sending flowers to somebody else. That's what they say. Idle time is the devil's workshop. Wow, never heard that one before. I've got to write all these down. How do you remember all these quotes and things? I haven't seen it on the movie.

00:06:02 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 2:

I'm very impressed, always.

00:06:05 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 5:

Please help me with your name. Kismy, Kismy.

00:06:08 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 3:

It's Tiffany, yeah.

00:06:10 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, Kismy?

00:06:13 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 3:

It's Tiffany.

00:06:14 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 5:

Wait, hold on, hold on a second.

00:06:16 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry.

00:06:18 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 5:

How do, like, I just need to know.

00:06:20 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 4:

Wait, wait. Can I repeat the name?

00:06:22 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 5:

She told you her name was Tiffany, and you got Kismy out of that.

00:06:25 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 4:

I even said it back to her. I go, okay, kiss me. And she goes, yeah. Like, I don't understand. It was wind interference.

00:06:32 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 3:

My window was down.

00:06:34 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry.

00:06:35 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 5:

Well, Tiffany, welcome to the show. What's happening?

00:06:39 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I was just calling in because, I mean, I wasn't, like, cheated on at any, like, through my kids' event. But at the same time, I was engaged before, and I had just recently had a baby. My son wanted my older son wanted to play football, and I was discouraged by that by my fiance because he had a lady, another lady pregnant whose son was on that same football team. Oh, I later found that out once the baby was born. I found out through social media that she had a child because his mother posted the pictures of the baby.

00:07:15 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 5:

So he told your kid not to play because he didn't want the interaction of you and this ex of his?

00:07:23 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. Wow. And he knew that we knew each other because they had, like, a 10-year-old child together already, so we knew each other. What was the name of the team? We were together.

00:07:32 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 5:

Were they the Mustangs? What was the team's name?

00:07:34 - 00:07:35 | Unknown:

Wow.

00:07:37 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 3:

You know, I don't even remember because it was, like, six or seven years ago. The Jam Rock. The Jam Rock. It was for Garfield Park team. It was my Rockets football league.

00:07:48 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 5:

The Rockets. Damn. Alabama side. What's up, Ashley? Hi.

00:07:53 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 4:

Hi there. I used to do competitive dance, and it was my dance recital. And I get a call that my dance teacher is not going to be there because it came out that she was having an affair with one of the student's dads for a while. Oh.

00:08:07 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Oh, no.

00:08:08 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 4:

And they just gave her the boot right then and there. That was it. Yes. Yeah, no.

00:08:13 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 5:

How old was the teacher and how old was the dad? Were they around the same age?

00:08:18 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they were around the same age.

00:08:20 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 5:

Was she a good teacher?

00:08:22 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 4:

Not really. Really?

00:08:24 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 5:

Was the daughter of the dad cheating with her, getting preferential treatment? No, not at all. See, if you're going to cheat, you've got to get preferential treatment, for goodness. Just count on the dues or something. Yeah, what's that all about? That's craziness. Well, thank you for the call. That's a crazy call. I appreciate you.

00:08:44 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah, of course. Thank you.

00:08:47 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 5:

This is pretty wild. We were talking about dance moms and then obviously these other sports. How about a Girl Scout troop leader? Come on. Don't do this to me. What's happening, Alicia?

00:08:57 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 2:

What badge do you get for that? Oh, my gosh. It was awful. Actually, so she was, we had just moved. Well, she had just started a different school and she was in kindergarten. And one of the parents there was the volunteer Girl Scout troop leader. And she was the only other single parent in the classroom. and my fiance and her kind of started a little friendship and he was trying to get me to be friends with her it seemed weird we went on this girl scout tramp uh camping trip and she was there and i could tell it was his birthday and it was also on mother's day and um i could tell that when i was talking to him he was being kind of weird and it seemed weird to me that i was kind of next to her and he had a suddenly go and she was suddenly on her phone and when he hung up with me she started talking it just seemed so weird to me and in my gut i was like something's not right here and in the end um i i found that he had uh facebook messages with her but i didn't know you could do like these um secret facebook messages where if you go to your messenger you don't even see the messages Thank you.

00:10:00 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 5:

you have to type in someone's name and it will be like a secret encrypted message and it was chains and chains of them talking about how you know we can't tell her it'll break her heart so this has to be between us i hope that's okay with you and they had been dating and he convinced me because his family he had some family problems so we were trying to work it out anyway um i moved out and he was still trying to win me over and you know tell me i just needed a friend she was there i'm so sorry and then anyway he ended up she ended up being her volleyball coach the next year my daughter went to of my daughter sorry and um my daughter and her daughter were friends and so my daughter went to this play with her dad and she ended up telling me she came home and she's like i have to tell you and she started sobbing she's like dad told me to never tell you but uh you know this woman was there and we went to dinner with them and he's been talking to her and i'm so sorry my daughter was six at the time it was horrible but i have to tell you my heart goes out to you sweetheart and you can't i fell for everything i listened to everything because who would think another parent would do that yeah and who would think that a father would put their kid in that situation right and i told myself everything but listen to your gut your gut it's Don't go back. Don't listen to him.

00:11:20 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 6:

It's crazy to think that the Girl Scout troop leader, then now soccer, what did you say? Volleyball coach? Volleyball coach.

00:11:27 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 5:

Volleyball, yeah. Volleyball coach. And he totally gasped at me that whole time when he was trying to, in between my daughter telling me and the messages I had found. Small time. I had moved out, and we were trying to sort of work it out. And he totally was, after he came out, and he took me and her to a park and is like, you know, your mom and I are over. She knows. Like, this is the first. I can't believe your kid had to deal with that.

00:11:49 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 6:

That's unreal. Wow.

00:11:51 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 5:

Well, then he was, yeah. It worked out, though. We're both very happy, and, you know, life has changed now. But, honey, don't let him say anything in the end. All that mattered was what he was doing. So listen to your gut.

00:12:03 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 6:

Alicia, thank you for the call. We appreciate it. Sorry that you had to deal with that. Sorry that your kid had to deal with that. How old is your kid now?

00:12:09 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 5:

Same here. She's 11 now, and she's doing amazing.

00:12:12 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 6:

Wow. That's unreal. Is she still in Girl Scouts?

00:12:16 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 5:

We're still at the same school. We're still coexisting with all these people. And is he with the troop leader coach? She still did volleyball and all these people. Yeah, it was her troop leader, and then it was her volleyball coach, and then the same woman became her cheerleading coach.

00:12:32 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 6:

And you see this woman still to this day? That's unreal. That's horrible.

00:12:37 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 5:

She's, yeah, people in the school just love her. He totally gasped at me and made it seem like none of this ever happened and that we had just been friends.

00:12:46 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 6:

That lady talented.

00:12:48 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 1:
