where are the roses so do we believe that this is a friend with cancer or do we think that there's something going on here and that was just a BS answer that was given by Garrett Sabrina this morning thinking that her boyfriend is cheating because some notes back and forth in the Notes app that she's been checking out on his phone. Tony, comments, thoughts? What do you think?

00:02:28 - 00:02:29 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

00:02:30 - 00:02:30 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:02:32 - 00:02:45 | Speaker 6:

Comments, I lost five relatives. One of them just recently from stage four cancer. The guy said he overcame, his friend overcame cancer. Stage four, that's why he said roses. You don't overcome stage four cancer.

00:02:45 - 00:02:51 | Speaker 2:

maybe one percent of the people well yeah listen i i actually have a friend that did yeah stage

00:02:51 - 00:03:12 | Speaker 1:

for cancer truly she did but but uh but with that said but with that said i listen i do agree with you that it is a hard thing to overcome stage four cancer is hard thing to overcome and i'm sorry about your family with that i i just don't know necessarily if you you lie or joke about something

00:03:12 - 00:03:24 | Speaker 2:

like that wait that's also not the question we were asking the question we were asking was what kind of cancer well and he didn't know like i think that he said the first thing he i don't know

00:03:24 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 1:

i'm just saying here's here's what i'm gonna say with this one i you don't you know you don't kill off your grandma basically when you don't have your homework assignment and there are some people that do and this guy is a guy that i don't know if he's the type of guy that uh is not good with his his verbal game or if he's just a complete liar and he's going for the cancer card because i got to tell you something you start pulling the cancer card out yeah man you're a bad person as a fake story yeah um bruno what are your thoughts on that morning everyone what's going

00:04:03 - 00:04:22 | Speaker 7:

on buddy um nothing much so my thing is why didn't anyone ask her to uh maybe describe the content of the notes like was there anything uh implicating that she read that kind of like made her feel like she has to suspect this guy she did show us and i i'll be honest with you

00:04:22 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 1:

i didn't think the notes seemed like it was that flirtatious but it didn't even make it didn't make sense yeah it was like emojis yeah but it was but it was the the i think that the title of the note was the thing that got her the most i i agree with you i agree with you that the the note didn't seem like that much of a reason to want to do the war of the roses but it's definitely something that she's got to look more into and how is it that as a guy or a girl or a relationship you don't know the people that your spouse is friends with. Like, you don't know him or her as a cousin.

00:04:59 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 7:

I don't know.

00:05:00 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 5:

know everybody like if it was a co-worker whatever i don't i may not know every single name of the people that my husband works with but if it was somebody that he was friends enough with and worried about that was ill i would know exactly yeah yeah but my other thing is um did she even

00:05:17 - 00:05:28 | Speaker 1:

bother to like have a conversation with him at least asking questions about you know the notes anything like that before deciding to uh you know bring it to to you guys yeah that's that's what

00:05:28 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 4:

she needed to do but obviously we wanted to do the war of the roses i i i think it would probably been better for her just to have conversation beforehand but i think she was worried that if she did that it would tip him off that she's on to his game uh david your thoughts is this guy

00:05:43 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 2:

cheating hey what's up guys good morning good morning what's going on uh not much uh man that's

00:05:51 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 4:

kind of crazy man he got caught cheating red-handed so you think it was a blatant he's cheating on this girl there's no excuse in even yeah yeah that's kind of low honestly what like what excuse

00:06:03 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 2:

he used but yeah no he yeah no man he got caught cheating right-handed he didn't know what to say

00:06:08 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 4:

and that's the next excuse he used yeah it's interesting you know the uh card that he sent to her doesn't really seem to be much there uh yeah but it's definitely the way that he spoke I do like when Kevin's like, what kind of cancer? Because it did put him right on the spot. He backed up in his heels and was like.

00:06:30 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 3:

Obviously, cancer is not something you joke about. And you said it's not something you play around with. But it's also one of those things where when you pull it out, it's the ace of spades. It's the thing that I can't come back with a rebuttal to. I have to say, oh, okay. I can't call you out on it. But in this situation, you had to because clearly it just didn't seem right.

00:06:50 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I mean, if it is true, I mean, if there is a chance that it is true, I mean, he sent her some flowers. He's, you know, it didn't sound like he was trying to have sex with her. It sounded like he was just trying to be nice. But if it's not true and that's his thing, he's a piece of crap. What's going on, Renee?

00:07:09 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 6:

Good morning, guys.

00:07:10 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

00:07:11 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 6:

Now, if that's your friend and they have cancer, how do you not know the details?

00:07:17 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 4:

Or how does your partner not know the details? I mean, that's more important.

00:07:21 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 6:

I know when my husband's co-workers go and brush their teeth or take a tool.

00:07:26 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, right. He shares everything with you.

00:07:29 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 6:

We're always hearing stories after work about co-workers. Absolutely. And he's definitely lying.

00:07:35 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 4:

And I think we all do, too, I would assume, right? We all share, you know, with our significant others, stuff like that happened at work. I'm shocked that she would not have known who this girl is. Or if it's not somebody from work, if it's just somebody that he's friends with. How do you not know this female friend? What's up, Carrie Ann?

00:07:53 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 5:

Hi. He just gave me such an egg. Like, this dodo doesn't even know what a type of cancer means. He literally said the severity of it. And I feel like you have to be, like, an evil person to lie about cancer. But I truly think that was all just a lie.

00:08:11 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm telling you, when you lie about stuff like that, like cancer, i think that if if it is a lie you're going down into that you know the caverns of like the worst people ever you know what i mean like that's uh that's a horrible thing and and like shannon said

00:08:30 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 5:

like i mean me and my husband talk about like our co-workers all the time and i don't i'm sure there's certain things i don't know but something like that would definitely be talked about or like But, you know, it's like, oh, my God, so-and-so. Like, I just feel like that's not something you leave out.

00:08:46 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 4:

By the way, Carrie Ann, our producer Lydia has sent a text to that number that was given as the flower number to see if we can talk to Ari because the truth comes from Ari. And we have not had a response back, but our hope is that we get Ari on.

00:09:04 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 3:

We should send a text, you know, hope you're doing well with battling. you know something to that effect see if she replies with thank you or what are you talking

00:09:13 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 4:

about yeah congratulations on you know you're on winning your battle yeah see what she says that's actually not a bad idea we'll do that from another number pam what's happening

00:09:22 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 7:

hi good morning so everyone is focusing on the cancer right now but why are you using a notes app to communicate if they didn't have anything to hide there's really a reason for that great

00:09:35 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 3:

Great comment. Sometimes it's right in your face.

00:09:38 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 4:

Can I be honest with you, though? Why would the note? I use notes. I use notes for my own personal notes. Why would somebody, like, I don't get it.

00:09:46 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 3:

Well, sometimes I've used it before if I'm collaborating with someone. Like, I know a graphic designer, and we're going back and forth. And if we're updating our charts or if we're updating the plans for an event that we're having, it's just easier to keep it in a note section.

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 5:

I guess you can turn the notification.

00:10:00 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 7:

off like Wes and I have a shared one of like restaurants we want to visit for example and I get an alert every time it gets updated but I know and we've talked about this before I know that the notes app has been a big thing for cheaters to use because I guess you could use it secretly and not really it's not like a text message or a dm it's not the first place that somebody would

00:10:21 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 4:

look if they think that something's up Amanda you had this happen you dated a guy who lied

00:10:28 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 6:

lied about cancer yeah this was about 10 years ago i want to say i was 21 so like i'm naive right i met this guy he was a bouncer at a bar thought he was adorable um and he's like oh yeah i'm vegan i just recently found out i had cancer so i'm going the all natural route and doing all this homeopathic stuff it's brain cancer so you know they're not going to be able to do much for me gives me this whole story like i feel so bad i'm cooking meals for him and his kids mowing the lawn doing all this stuff and what i mean we just broke up i never heard from him and he's still alive to this day and called me from jail recently so i mean karma got him but he obviously didn't have

00:11:14 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 4:

cancer yeah isn't wow that's interesting so you found out that this guy is probably not the most honest to guys why would you say you have cancer although gosh i have no idea i mean like i don't

00:11:26 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 6:

know what kind of pickup line that is like he was a cute guy there was no reason to lie would you

00:11:31 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 4:

have done all that stuff for him though if he didn't say that he had cancer i'm a nice i'm a

00:11:36 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 6:

nice person i would have you know i'm a nice person if we were dating yes she mowed the lawn

00:11:42 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 7:

I think some people love the sympathy and attention. And it's sick, it's a mental illness. Yeah, what is that illness called? Munchausen syndrome.

00:11:57 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 4:

Munchausen syndrome, yeah. They get off on it? Yeah. Victor says he could be innocent. What's up, Victor?

00:12:06 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning, Mojo, Kevin, Shannon, everyone. Good morning. I think the lady of me is on this side. I didn't say he could be innocent. I just said both cases could be true, right? Because he never actually denied cheating on his girlfriend with this friend of his. This could be a friend who forms some kind of emotional attachment to him while going through something as bad as a cancer, right? So maybe they haven't done anything physically, but there could very well be a friend of his who's going through cancer who he's having some kind of emotional attachment to, right?

00:12:38 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that is true. But he never really did not admit to the fact that he's closest girl.

00:12:44 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and he was very fast to say she has cancer, right? But he doesn't know what type of cancer. So maybe he hasn't known her for very long. Maybe this is someone who just overcame cancer, and now she's like, I have a second, you know, chance at life, and she's going crazy, and that's how they met, right? So he doesn't actually know all that details. All he knows is she's getting over cancer, right? And, yeah, he could be cheating on her who, you know, with someone who's just getting over cancer. But I just, he never addressed the fact that he wasn't cheating with this girl.

00:13:13 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, no, it's interesting. Megan, what's going on? Hi, Megan.

00:13:18 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 5:

Hey, guys. How are you?

00:13:20 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 4:

Good. What's going on?

00:13:22 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 5:

I'm actually calling from Canada. Yeah, I hate you.

00:13:26 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 4:

What's up?

00:13:27 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so long story short, my aunt's with this guy for eight years, right? And he's got bone cancer, and it's spread all over his body. So my aunt's driving them to and from these appointments, but she never goes in. She always just drops them off. Who questions if somebody tells you they have cancer? Long story short, this guy ends up getting in a motorcycle accident and passing away. And during his autopsy, my aunt's asking a couple questions here and there. Turns out the guy never had cancer, and he was healthy as a horse.

00:13:57 - 00:13:58 | Speaker 4:

Where was she dropping him off then?

00:13:58 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, what was he doing? She was dropping him right off at the hospital.

00:14:02 - 00:14:06 | Speaker 4:

But what was he getting done if he didn't have cancer?

00:14:07 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 5:

It remains a mystery to this day that he was even still going into the hospital.

00:14:12 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 4:

Amazing. Wow. He was going in and coming right out.

00:14:14 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 5:

She never questioned it. She never questioned it. She just dropped him off and went about her business and went back in an hour or however long he said and picked him up and never had a stitch of cancer in him.

00:14:26 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 7:

He's watching TikToks for an hour in peace and quiet of the hospital lobby.

00:14:31 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you wonder, like, what is his whole point? And what is the point of him doing that just to get the sympathy? All right, War of the Roses.
