Wow, we, wow, e, wow, e, hello, welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. We are back, we are back. It is so good to be back. I know that there are some people that were probably tired of the fact that we were off for a couple of weeks. Let me just tell you, we don't care.

We appreciate us being back. Like, we appreciate Anzalone being back in that game. That's right. You guys. That's the best analogy ever. I was seriously praying that the Lions won last night for more reasons than one. I just wanted everybody to be in a good mood this morning for our return. Yes. Selfishly. That was part of it.

You know, what's funny is I was reading some of the social media posts while I was up all the way until about 2 o'clock in the morning. I slept for about an hour and 40 minutes, I think.

Even that much would have been nice.

And they saw that I went to the game last night. I was at the game. Kev and I were there with Luke, my son.

son, Luke, and his best buddy, and people were going, oh, good. This means they're off tomorrow. Like, it was kind of like one of those things. I'm like, no. We put our bodies on the line for you guys.

Can I be honest? Seeing you guys there made my butthole pucker, because the last time you guys were there, what happened?

We lost our voices.

They lost the game. No, that was me. That was just me. Oh, that's right.

Okay, never mind. So, Wes went to the game. Kevin and I are 3-0. 4-0. at breakfast yesterday Wes was looking to buy tickets because he got last minute tickets and he said do you want to go to the game with me tonight and I said well no for two reasons one I don't want to start the week with like an hour of sleep like Mojo is and two the last game that I went to was the one of the two that we lost so I can't so I took his daughter where was my invite

Wes is the smartest guy ever I saw, by the way, Wes and Samantha got a chance to hang out with those guys last night at the game, and Wes was the greatest. You guys know the controversy about the Minnesota Vikings owner bought $2 million in tickets from the secondary market, and then they offered them to their season ticket holders for $200 apiece. They paid $1,000 per ticket. They offered them to their season ticket holders for $200 apiece. Wow. We'll talk about that later, but some people were really upset by that. The Lions were upset. They protested to the league saying that they thought that that was bad and that, you know, the Vikings should be punished. We'll talk about that, about the league and how they basically said no. The best part of the whole thing was Wes and Samantha got their tickets at a great price because the Vikings fans took that price and they sold it back to the Lions fans for $200 or whatever.

I know. Wes got such a steal. And that's why he was like, I have to go.

So instead of paying, you know, instead of paying Guido from wherever, who is charging a thousand dollars a ticket, they paid, you know, what, 200 bucks, I think he said.

I think he said that they basically paid 250 a ticket, which to me is crazy, but apparently is very cheap. Are you kidding me?

Yeah. And they had great seats. Why did nobody tell me this? I'm so frustrated. I cannot get tickets to any of these games. And then something like this happens and nobody tells me go on Ticketmaster and check it out. Y'all are fake friends.

No, we need more Minnesota people who don't want to come to Detroit. More Guidos. We need, yeah, let's bust these guys. But it was good. It was fun. We had a great time. I do have to tell you that there's an etiquette to go into the game, and the etiquette is once you start high-fiving, you've got to continue to high-five. I guess I was not doing it. The guy that was sitting behind us, Kev, he was punching my back. He was pissed. When the Lions would do something great, like when they would get a sack, like when they got to Darnold or when Alex Anzalone made an amazing tackle. That guy was so great down the field. Our whole section, everybody would high-five each other. And Kev kind of started it. Kev's a hard high-fiver. You got to.

If you don't hurt afterwards, then I didn't mean it. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. You say you don't mean to hit these buttons, but I think you're hitting these on purpose.

That was a Freudian slip. I wanted to hit this one. Wait. There you go. That's what I wanted to do. So, yeah, the guy behind me got upset a couple times because I would forget. I got so nervous. Like, there was a part of that game. I mean, it was what? It was the beginning. Nine to ten. Yeah. I was going to say, yeah. And then we held them in the second half.

When the streamers fell down, being in that arena last night or that field or whatever you want to call it.

There were streamers and confetti.

Bruh, it felt like a movie. Like, you were living in a moment that is unforgettable. I mean, many people said it leading up to the game that this may possibly be the most important regular season game in the history of our franchise. And with everything on the line, what the number one seed means, the way that our season has gone with people falling down and getting hurt. And we even had somebody fall down last night. A couple of times it got scary. But to win that game the way that we want it. Yeah. The Lions way. Yeah. And to see the Vikings trying to pretend to be Lions by going out and losing every single time.

And how, oh, man, to watch a quarterback choke that bad, though, it was, I felt bad. At a certain point, the first half was a great game. Like, genuinely, it was closer than you wanted it to be, but you were like, this is going to be better than the Super Bowl. Like, this is going to be a fantastic game. And then the second half, sort of, pain jumps. But watching that quarterback choke the whole time, at a certain point, you're like, this is, this is bad.

One of the things you said, Mojo, was like, Darnold has to have a game where he shows who he's been the entire career that he's had, which is not a great quarterback. It happened.

J.J. McCarthy really sealed that starting position next year. I don't know.

I want to see her as a grandma.
