Well, your fiancé got locked in yesterday and almost got arrested.

Okay, so he calls me in a panic yesterday. And I'm trying to tend to all these kids. It was a half day of school. So two of my other girlfriends and I volunteered to, like, take a bunch of the kids and watch them for the afternoon to give the other moms who were working, you know, a little bit of relief there. And he calls me. I mean, just panic. I'm like, what happened? what happened? He's like, I think I'm about to get arrested. So backstory here, Wes and his teenage son, Kieran, are in Arizona right now. And they went out there for a bunch of different reasons. One of the reasons was Kieran wanted to look at Arizona State University to go to college. So they like tour that campus or whatever. Well, he does track and Wes is a track coach. So they wanted to get like a track workout in because it's about to be track season. And so they headed to this local high school by the hotel that they were staying at in arizona to like use the the track and wes let his son drive because he has you know he's about to get his driver's license and so west told me he's answering emails he's not really paying attention when they pulled into the school and parked back by like the track the football field area so they did their track workout it started to rain and when they went to leave they realized they were locked in like actually locked in gates fences had closed and west said he starts to look around and sees all of these signs where they had parked that said absolutely no trespassing so he's like shan i tried to call the office of the school for somebody to come out and let us out they're on spring break so there's nobody there and he's like I'm scared if I call the police they're gonna be like didn't you see the signs that said no trespassing you're not even supposed to be there in the first place so he's like trying to deal with this I'm trying to deal with all these kids he actually sent me a video because I'm like I don't understand how you can't get out right Like, just drive out. And he's like, no, I can't. We're literally locked in.

All right, so here's the stadium. Open for track. And then here is the gate that's closed around all the signs that say trespassing. And here's the boy who's a dumbass. Look at all the signs. Trespassing, trespassing, no trespassing. Gate. Locked.

And then I'm like, oh, I get it.

People do this at the high school by my house all the time. They'll use the track to walk and things like that. Sure. Everybody does that. And they'll go on it and do it. And I wonder if they also have times where they have to lock up the place. Because it's spring break out there.

It's spring break out there. And so that's why he was like, there was nobody. Like, for whatever reason, it was open and then the gates closed by the time that they were ready to leave. And he said, thank God. because I told him I said call the police and just say you guys are thinking about moving to the area your son wanted to see the high school like you know whatever give them a story they're not going to arrest you for using the track but there were some contractors that they screamed at and they came over and opened the gates so they could drive out but

the Tim Richards story this is great so Tim and I worked together at a radio station and it was in an old house. And I think I've told you a story about the old house radio station I worked at. So Tim was going outside to go grab something in his car and he left and had a piece of paper that he was put in between the door. Alright? Right. So he put the piece of paper in the door so the door doesn't lock.

Classic DJ move. We all prop that door and lock it. With a piece of paper?

Yeah, because he puts it by the latch. So then the latch doesn't work. The latch doesn't get through the paper. Well, wind ended up blowing the door open, and the paper went flying. And Tim got locked out and had to call the bosses.

So you know what I did? It was like 4 in the morning. I was working overnights, like midnight to 6 a.m. until the morning show came in. At 4 in the morning, I run out to my car because I realized I left my food out there. Door locked behind me. I thought I put a rock in between, and somehow it wiggled closed. I had to take the rock and break the window to climb back in the building because I was like, well, the morning show is not going to be here for two hours. If I have to call the boss at 4 in the morning and have him come unlock the door, I'm fired. I'd rather break the window and then just deal with it in the morning. I'll just pay to get the window repaired. So when they came in this morning, I was about to tell them, oh, my gosh, I had to break the window. I didn't want to go off the air and lose all the advertisers. As soon as they walked in, they go, look at this. Somebody tried to break in. Are you okay? Gosh, you weren't here all by yourself. You could have been hurt. And I looked at them and I said, wow, when did that happen? Luckily, there were no cameras on the door. Yeah, thank God for no cameras.

Yeah, so I'm married to a high school head football coach who has the keys, always has the keys to unlock himself, but left them and did not have them to get him and our five-year-old out so he had to throw her over the fence oh my gosh and use her better her than him i guess they hopped the fence and needless to say the sheriffs come for the school district they don't mind they know who he is but it's very very ironic that he has the keys but yeah but yeah have them in the moment of need Yeah.

So we went down some stairs and turned the wrong way and ended up, instead of outside the stadium, ended up inside the stadium. So we were walking around the concourse. Every door was locked. we couldn't find anybody my mom was super po'd um but we eventually flagged down some security

guy that was driving around he let us out the first time i got to meet ed sheeran uh after the show they said come back have a beer and meet him and everything and when i came out they had already torn down the whole state we were back there a little while they tore down the whole stage and they were now prepping the ice like uncovering the ice for hockey the next day it took everything in me to not go down i was like how fun would it be to just go down and like slide around on the ice and everything in an empty arena yeah but i was afraid same thing

in i was locked in the fox theater in a broom closet wait a minute how were you even in there in the first place okay so um a group of my girlfriends and some of their boyfriends went to the bash bash and it was gonna end soon and i thought i have to go to the bathroom so bad i'm not gonna make it till the end so i nip out and there's like 40 people in line for the toilet and i'm like there's no way i could make it so i turn around and i see this person coming out of this closet like room or you know i thought maybe it's like a an employee lounge or something with bathroom so as they come out of this little room i grab the door and go in and the door closes and there's another door but it's locked and i feel this cord hanging so i pull it and there's a light and i'm locked in the closet oh my god i all of a sudden the bash bash ended and i'm banging and pounding like I did not want to spend the night.

And that's like a creepy old place anyway.

Oh, it's haunted for sure.
