morning i did not know that you owned pink not black not brown pink gator shoes stink pink gators

00:02:15 - 00:02:21 | Speaker 6:

this is the ones biggie was talking about in the song man that's right pink stink gators my detroit

00:02:21 - 00:02:45 | Speaker 5:

players come on now hey by the way i i would like to borrow those uh my pimp is getting out of jail this week and i would i would like to pick them up in the uh at the detroit police department jail lock up uh those are amazing so you also saw another crazy animal sighting uh too huh

00:02:45 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 6:

It was an animal weekend for me. So I go to the post office, and I don't know if I'm just attracting weird things, if this is like my Mercury retrograde area where things are being attracted to me. Oh, my God. Yeah, weird stuff. So, yeah, so I'm in the post office and filling out some stuff, shipping some boxes, and I see a lady with this very, very large backpack on. And it's not like a normal backpack. it kind of looks like a hiker's backpack where you can put different stuff in it she's got like pockets she's got compartments i'm like what the hell is this thing yeah so i finished my business and i'm starting to walk out and i notice that she's like turned around like putting something inside of some boxes and i look at her backpack and there's a cat inside of And never in my life have I heard that song But never in my life have I seen a cat in a backpack

00:03:46 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 8:

Did it have one of those bubbles? Yeah, did it have the bubble?

00:03:49 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 6:

It did not have a bubble Let me show you the picture I took a picture Because nobody in my life would believe me Unless I have video evidence But it did not have a bubble It was just in a bag

00:03:59 - 00:04:02 | Speaker 8:

Oh, it's like a travel cat bag Yeah

00:04:02 - 00:04:05 | Speaker 6:

I didn't even know they made these things The cat pack.

00:04:07 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 7:

This is a real thing? Yeah. I'm sorry. I don't know many cat people like this. I wouldn't say it's normal, but it's a real thing.

00:04:16 - 00:04:30 | Speaker 5:

It's funny because we see people with purse puppies and stuff like that. People that put their purses, you know, their puppies in their purse. I think those people look a little, you know, I don't know, weird doing that. But the cat seems like even weirder.

00:04:31 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 8:

The backpack, yeah.

00:04:32 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 5:

Cats just don't seem like they want to be in those, you know?

00:04:38 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 8:

Right. But sometimes you just want to make sure that they understand what the world is like without losing them.

00:04:43 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, but don't you feel like they hate every moment of it in those things?

00:04:48 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 8:

I think there's two kinds of cats. There's the cats that absolutely love it and the cats that wish that they could destroy your soul. Still nothing is weirder to me than the strollers. Truly.

00:05:00 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 3:

people pushing the stroller with any animal in it i just it wasn't my idea i know i i honestly wasn't gonna bring up you because i brought it up so many times but i know i like i saw a lady doing it over the weekend and smith stopped her because he wanted to pet the dog and i'm like doesn't your dog need like isn't the point of walking your dog so the dog gets exercise

00:05:19 - 00:05:28 | Speaker 2:

i always said i don't know is that dog eight million years old and you're just like is is this the last day on earth do we need some fresh air i mean my dog is eight million years old and

00:05:28 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 3:

and I still at least take them around the block. Not for a long walk anymore, but around the block.

00:05:33 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 1:

I have a neighbor that gets mad at me anytime that I point out that her dog is in a stroller because she says that her animal is not doing well, which I get it, you know.

00:05:42 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, see, that's sad, yeah.

00:05:44 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 1:

But with the whole idea of bringing your cat to, where was the cat cat? The post office. She shipped it? I don't know. Does the cat really want to go to the post office? Does the cat want to stay at home and enjoy the home without the person there?

00:05:59 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 3:

Maybe the post office was just one of many stops for the day. And so she didn't want to leave the kitty at home. Why not, though?

00:06:06 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 1:

And what, is it too hot to stay in the car then, or what?

00:06:09 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it was too hot yesterday.

00:06:09 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah.

00:06:11 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 3:

I cannot believe I'm defending a cat on her window.

00:06:15 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 1:

Here's something weirder than a purse puppy in a cat pack. Becky, are you there?

00:06:23 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

00:06:23 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 1:

This is Becky. Hi, Becky.

00:06:25 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I have two smaller parrots, and I have one of those cat bubble backpacks, and we put them in the backpacks for walks. No, that's me.

00:06:35 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 2:

That's cruel and unusual punishment for a bird. Like, you could be out there, but you're not.

00:06:41 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 4:

I tried to harness train them, and it didn't work, so that's the next step they had to get them outside.

00:06:46 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 1:

Do you think your parrots really want to go on a walk, or do you think they would rather just be at home in the living room on their perch?

00:06:54 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. They might be a little scared sometimes, but we do it.

00:07:00 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 1:

Trucker Aaron just sent in and said that if anybody gets KP in the company Christmas pool that we have at the end of the year, that we got to get her one of these for Bubba.

00:07:11 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I'm sorry to harness. He hated it, but I would love him in a bubble.

00:07:16 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Cat people don't like our show until KP started, and we got a cat person. What?

00:07:23 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 2:

It's the disrespect of you ignoring the fact that...

00:07:27 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 1:

Why does everything have to be about you, Megan? I just made a point that was to move on to the next call. But go ahead. Tell everybody about your dead cat, man. Jesus Christ. Go ahead. Tell everybody about your dead cat. Go ahead. Tell everybody. God rest her soul.

00:07:42 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 2:

I'm still a cat person.

00:07:44 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 1:

Her name was? Sophie. Sophie.

00:07:47 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 3:

She was 20.

00:07:49 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 1:

Hello, Sophie.

00:07:50 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 3:

Dang.

00:07:50 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 1:

We had the death psychic in studio with us and couldn't pick up on anybody. And she goes, I got a Sophie here. And Megan jumps up right away. That was my cat. All right. Let's talk to Sophie. Jessica, what's going on? Jessica, what's up?

00:08:13 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 5:

So I went camping at Lovington State Park this weekend. and our camping neighbors had a hammock and they were keeping a cat in it.

00:08:21 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh. A hammock. That's amazing that the cat actually is calm in a hammock.

00:08:28 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it had like a little bug netting over it so it couldn't escape. It wasn't closed, but it kept falling into like the bottom part of the nettings and it was all like sprawled out and its owners had to go help it back up. And in the middle of the night, there was a bunch of owls all over and our camping neighbors had to leave because the cat was so freaked out. But just strange. I've never seen a cat in any situation like that before.

00:08:47 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 1:

You know what's amazing about that is that I always thought cats never wanted to actually be confined to anything. And here you are talking that cats seem like they're very calm animals.

00:08:59 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 5:

I don't know if I would say it was happy, but it was there.

00:09:04 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 1:

I like the people that have, like, pet snakes and things like that. And I wonder if any of these people with pet snakes or maybe the guy that had the alligator that Kev went to go out and try to see at Kensington Metro Park that probably let it go. Like, do they bring those on walks? You know?

00:09:21 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 3:

I bet some of them do.

00:09:24 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 1:

I wanted, our boss, Tony, lives on a farm. Like, he and his family have a farm. And I wanted to see if Tony would ever let us just go taking his animals, take his animals for walks.

00:09:34 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 3:

I would love to do that.

00:09:36 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 1:

Like his goat.

00:09:37 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 3:

His goats.

00:09:38 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. You wouldn't want to walk the goats?

00:09:39 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I love goats.

00:09:42 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. What was there? There was a story last week that I saw about a person that had a goat as.

00:09:50 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 3:

Like an emotional support animal? Yeah.

00:09:52 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 1:

An emotional support animal. Yeah. And there was a restaurant that was fighting them, saying that they didn't want them to bring in the goat. Yeah.

00:09:57 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 3:

I do think we're getting a little crazy with the emotional. support animals mind you i love that they're that animals do provide emotional support for some people but sometimes i'm like a goat like that's how for a while they were doing goat yoga

00:10:13 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 5:

yeah yeah and they made it seem like it helped yeah hey jennifer what's up good morning hey good

00:10:19 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 3:

morning morning i just wanted to say mojo jesus mary that was so wrong of you to say that about Megan's cat. The gas I just dropped in my car.

00:10:31 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 5:

What did I say that was so wrong about it? I bring up that Megan never had the cat since she has been on our show with us. Okay? She had it prior. But when I say that we have an official cat person on the show, that she gets offended that I don't call her a cat lady. I've never known any woman that wants to be called the cat lady.

00:10:53 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 3:

I know, but it was just so... Megan, I'm on your side, girl. Jennifer, I appreciate you. He won't ever change his waist. You just got to learn to accept the wild things he says while not taking responsibility for it.

00:11:07 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 5:

Here's what I'm going to say. I'm going to say this. This is the only morning show, because I know Allison down the hall is a cat lady. This is the only morning show that has two cat ladies on it. Are we happy now?

00:11:19 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 4:

Sure. Yeah. Oh, we have a cat dad, too. Don't forget about Mike.

00:11:23 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 5:

Stop it. I hate Mike. I hate Mike.

00:11:25 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 2:

Don't forget about Sweetie. I know. We can forget about her.

00:11:28 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 4:

Sweetie the cat.

00:11:29 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 2:
