It was an animal weekend for me. So I go to the post office, and I don't know if I'm just attracting weird things, if this is like my Mercury retrograde area where things are being attracted to me. Oh, my God. Yeah, weird stuff. So, yeah, so I'm in the post office and filling out some stuff, shipping some boxes, and I see a lady with this very, very large backpack on. And it's not like a normal backpack. it kind of looks like a hiker's backpack where you can put different stuff in it she's got like pockets she's got compartments i'm like what the hell is this thing yeah so i finished my business and i'm starting to walk out and i notice that she's like turned around like putting something inside of some boxes and i look at her backpack and there's a cat inside of And never in my life have I heard that song But never in my life have I seen a cat in a backpack

It's funny because we see people with purse puppies and stuff like that. People that put their purses, you know, their puppies in their purse. I think those people look a little, you know, I don't know, weird doing that. But the cat seems like even weirder.

I think there's two kinds of cats. There's the cats that absolutely love it and the cats that wish that they could destroy your soul. Still nothing is weirder to me than the strollers. Truly.

I have a neighbor that gets mad at me anytime that I point out that her dog is in a stroller because she says that her animal is not doing well, which I get it, you know.

But with the whole idea of bringing your cat to, where was the cat cat? The post office. She shipped it? I don't know. Does the cat really want to go to the post office? Does the cat want to stay at home and enjoy the home without the person there?

Maybe the post office was just one of many stops for the day. And so she didn't want to leave the kitty at home. Why not, though?

And what, is it too hot to stay in the car then, or what?

I mean, it was too hot yesterday.

Yeah, I have two smaller parrots, and I have one of those cat bubble backpacks, and we put them in the backpacks for walks. No, that's me.

That's cruel and unusual punishment for a bird. Like, you could be out there, but you're not.

I tried to harness train them, and it didn't work, so that's the next step they had to get them outside.

Do you think your parrots really want to go on a walk, or do you think they would rather just be at home in the living room on their perch?

I don't know. They might be a little scared sometimes, but we do it.

Trucker Aaron just sent in and said that if anybody gets KP in the company Christmas pool that we have at the end of the year, that we got to get her one of these for Bubba.

We had the death psychic in studio with us and couldn't pick up on anybody. And she goes, I got a Sophie here. And Megan jumps up right away. That was my cat. All right. Let's talk to Sophie. Jessica, what's going on? Jessica, what's up?

So I went camping at Lovington State Park this weekend. and our camping neighbors had a hammock and they were keeping a cat in it.

Oh. A hammock. That's amazing that the cat actually is calm in a hammock.

Yeah, it had like a little bug netting over it so it couldn't escape. It wasn't closed, but it kept falling into like the bottom part of the nettings and it was all like sprawled out and its owners had to go help it back up. And in the middle of the night, there was a bunch of owls all over and our camping neighbors had to leave because the cat was so freaked out. But just strange. I've never seen a cat in any situation like that before.

You know what's amazing about that is that I always thought cats never wanted to actually be confined to anything. And here you are talking that cats seem like they're very calm animals.

I don't know if I would say it was happy, but it was there.

I like the people that have, like, pet snakes and things like that. And I wonder if any of these people with pet snakes or maybe the guy that had the alligator that Kev went to go out and try to see at Kensington Metro Park that probably let it go. Like, do they bring those on walks? You know?

I bet some of them do.

I wanted, our boss, Tony, lives on a farm. Like, he and his family have a farm. And I wanted to see if Tony would ever let us just go taking his animals, take his animals for walks.

I would love to do that.

Yeah. What was there? There was a story last week that I saw about a person that had a goat as.

Like an emotional support animal? Yeah.

An emotional support animal. Yeah. And there was a restaurant that was fighting them, saying that they didn't want them to bring in the goat. Yeah.

I do think we're getting a little crazy with the emotional. support animals mind you i love that they're that animals do provide emotional support for some people but sometimes i'm like a goat like that's how for a while they were doing goat yoga

What did I say that was so wrong about it? I bring up that Megan never had the cat since she has been on our show with us. Okay? She had it prior. But when I say that we have an official cat person on the show, that she gets offended that I don't call her a cat lady. I've never known any woman that wants to be called the cat lady.

I know, but it was just so... Megan, I'm on your side, girl. Jennifer, I appreciate you. He won't ever change his waist. You just got to learn to accept the wild things he says while not taking responsibility for it.
