I left my home. I got out of my house, and I went over to my dad's to watch the Super Bowl with him, and my brother felt very left out, so he wanted to go, although he doesn't really care about football. He likes the Lions because I like the Lions, but he doesn't really watch football all that much. He's more of a hockey guy. So he showed up to the Super Bowl party yesterday, and he brought a book with him so he could read himself watching the game.

I mean, like, how do you even read? Because you're going to want to keep looking up every time there's a reaction to something on the screen.

He was only making fun of us because some of the Kansas City Chiefs players had yellow gloves on, and my dad and I kept thinking they were flags. And he just would not shut up making fun of us for every time there was a flag. He went, is that a glove? And then he would go back to his book.

What book was it, by the way? Or mouthpieces, by the way. Did you notice that? The yellow mouthpieces around the field? Yeah, what book was it?

Okay, so before you judge him, I'm forcing him to read it because he and I are trying to get matching tattoos very badly, and I really want him to get one with me based off this book. It's called The Time Traveler's Wife, and it's my favorite book. So he's reading it to be nice. Okay. But he kind of likes it, which is like a win-win.

They'll have the results of how many people were watching the Super Bowl last night. And like I had said during our earlier hours, They're expecting it to be, like, a record amount of people that were watching the Super Bowl because of the hype that was around the game and the halftime performance. But in some cases, there are some people that just don't want to watch it. And I always thought that the counter-programming, you know, is interesting because usually some of the other stations just don't even run any new stuff. You know, they'll just run, like, old stuff because they realize that nobody's watching them, you know, the amount of people.

But the Puppet Bowl was great. Well, even the stuff they used to counter-program, like the Puppy Bowl, now is before, early in the day, so they get the bigger viewing.

So I'm looking at Forbes right now because I was trying to see if they released some of the ratings, and they did for halftime. Preliminary ratings, though. I don't know if I believe this. Rihanna's Super Bowl halftime show draws 28.5 million households less than last year.

Really? I don't buy that.

Last year was the Dr. Dre and Kevin.

Really? Could have been.

This could have been their survey, not the actual ratings, but they might have done a survey.

And this is early numbers, yeah.

That's interesting. And honestly, the ratings typically are not out this fast.

My husband was not watching the Super Bowl last night. Instead, he was watching Yellowstone. That's interesting. So catching up on a show that you could have caught up on another time. I was playing a board game called Photosynthesis.

It's basically like tree chest. Everybody has their own forest. They're building up into one single forest.

Was it fun? Was it more fun than watching Rihanna at halftime?

Oh, I watched the halftime show. I just didn't watch the football. But, yeah, it was fun because I won.

My favorite are when you watch a Super Bowl with people who just don't care about football or they hate both teams because both teams are so polarizing, especially if you're a Lions fan. You're not really necessarily a Chiefs or an Eagles fan. But you turn the volume and everything down during that, and you just turn it up during the commercials. It's like the opposite of what you'd expect. Ash, what's happening? hey not much how are you guys good instead of watching the super bowl what were you doing

we went to the neighbor's house and we just ate and drank and caught up on who's left the neighborhood and who's joined the neighborhood a little gossip all the tea that's good the only thing we did

watch was the halftime show and that's all, in the 15 years I've been living here in America, that's all I do watch is the halftime show and I thought she was really good and she's pregnant, so congratulations to her.

Well, it's not surprising to see someone's not interested in the game. It's surprising that you found a whole community there that doesn't like and doesn't care

Did you hear the rumor that they're talking about adding four teams and all those teams are going to be in Europe? So they're talking about adding – the NFL is talking about adding teams and rearranging the AFC, NFC, and then actually moving it off.

But then it can't be the NFL anymore. It had to be the international football league.

Do you want to hear my theory? Yeah, that's true. Yeah, but did you hear that in 2026 it's going to be in England?

That's another rumor. Yeah.

Well, they're saying it is. Yeah, because rugby's getting very big here as well because of, you know, the amount of Europeans who are here. So rugby's getting big and then soccer's getting big, or should I say the proper football is getting big. So I think, you know, they're trying to integrate everything, which I think it's nice because, you know, people play basketball a lot in England also. I mean, we're not ever going to do baseball because we have rounders there, which is a girls game. So we're never going to have baseball in England.

But we do bring teams there Like Major League Baseball All the sports I realize And there's a lot of money to be had Thank you for the call

Did you see that Patrick Mahomes chose not to go to Disney World And I think maybe it's because They were in Phoenix So it's a West Coast thing But he chose Patrick Mahomes, you and the Kansas City Chiefs just won the Super Bowl. What are you going to do next?

I'm going to Disneyland.

Are you glad to do that? No, I think it's because they're promoting the 100 years at Disneyland.

Luckily, I'm going to Disneyland now. So I have Disney World and Disneyland crossed off. And I'll have to make some more parks so I can go around everywhere and do a world tour.
