All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. You're home of the War of the Roses, second date update, Dirty on the 30. So yesterday we went to the Tigers game, which was so much fun. Got a chance to watch the Tigers and another big win. And got a chance to hang out with a whole bunch of people. A bunch of people from iHeart and saw a bunch of clients and stuff. But can I shout out the promo team that got a chance to come? Yes, indeed. I was a promo guy back in the day. That's kind of how I started. I started interning and then I was the guy that would set up, you know, the tents. and, you know, give away the prizes, spin the prize wheel, you know, stuff like that at the remotes. Me too. So I knew the job was never a great job, but it was also a great way to get an in to hot girls that would come over to the station.

I was going somewhere else with that, but okay.

You're talking about an in to radio. I'm talking about an in to hot girls to hang out with, you know what I mean? Like listeners that would come up and say hi to you and stuff. And then they would ask you the question. And they would say, are you one of the on-air people? And I would say, well, occasionally you might hear my voice at the end of a commercial saying, void, we're prohibited. But it was fun to get a chance to do this. And we took a team photo, which is up on our Instagram and Facebook, so you can go take a look at it. And I don't know, and I'm horrible with names. Literally, you brought all them in, and some of them have been with us for years. I probably would not know what their names are. And it's bad to say that because I should, because they do a lot of the hard work here, but we're taking a team photo and we just got done, uh, you know, uh, all hanging out and eating and stuff. And, um, one of the, the girls, uh, spilled a root beer float. They had a root beer float and this, uh, poor girl got her hair all full of root beer float. and it and i'm watching this and i'm going oh my god this is horrible like her hair was literally sitting in a root bear float which i'll be quite honest with you i like root bear floats i actually thought oh well the smell at least was good but it felt so bad for her what's her name natanya

And I felt bad, and I didn't know what to do because it was sitting in there, and I thought, is this too personal, like, to pick it up and try to help her? So I was trying to, like, I was trying to find, like, something, like, to have her wipe off her hair with. But it got me thinking, I don't know if there's a topic in this, what did your hair get stuck in? People with long hair, like women with long hair, I can't imagine that it's got to be easy for you to keep your hair from getting stuck in things.

I don't even have that long of hair. My hair has, for the majority of my life, been like the length it is now, shoulder length. But the worst is if I, especially if I'm by myself, and I'm trying to zip up a top or a dress that has a zipper that goes up the back, and you get your hair stuck in a zipper.

Does that hurt?

It hurts so bad.

I can only imagine. Ouch. Has anybody ever gotten their hair stuck when they've rolled their window up in their car? Because I can only imagine that that's got to hurt. You know, getting stuck in, like, you know what, Kevin pays to not have long hair. I'm telling you. Can we shout out a couple people from yesterday, though? Sure. Shout out to Felicia.

We have promo people there that literally make probably $10 an hour. I have no idea how much money these guys make. And we basically gave him four hot dogs and a couple of things of, you know, of stale fruit or something like that. And I'm like, all right, hold on a second. Let's get a little. So I so I rounded up some food from dessert cart, dessert cart.

You guys, I've never seen anything like this in my life.

so close to a sticky mousetrap we i ordered a box of 36 and unwrapped them and i think i turned too quick and like half the bottom of my hair got stuck in like two or three of them oh jesus

oh god ouch well we caught a rat for like a week after oh i can only imagine At least it wasn't one of those snap-down mousetraps, like the old-school ones. That would hurt.

Well, when I started out my career, I was an industrial sewing machine operator.

Oh, no. Oh, no.

And on the right end of the sewing machine, you have your pulley system that controls the top piston to the motor.

Oh, God.

And I leaned over. I had to fix my sewing machine, change some needles, and do some stuff. And I had super long hair. And so I did that, and I sat back down, and everything was fine until I hit the pedal. Oh, jeez. And I ended up with, like, a pixie.

Oh, my God.

Oh, that's terrible. We couldn't back it out because it had wound in the internal piston. So, yeah, it had to be cut. It was awful.

Oh, I can only imagine. That had to be, like, the most painful thing ever.

Yeah, that's when I went back to school and became the automotive engineer.
