All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. This is an interesting thing. I'm going to throw this out there as a quick topic, and I want you to call us up and tell us if you have something to relate to it. I would like to know, what is the stupidest thing that you got in trouble for at work? And you don't have to say where you work if you still work there. But if you don't work there anymore, then I want to hear about it. Okay? My son, Jacob, once got in trouble for, are you ready for this one? Showing up to work too early for work. So Jake and I were having a conversation and we were talking about work. And my son, Jake, for those that don't know, is a psychologist, okay? So he'll be a doctor in psychology probably in a matter of a couple of months here right now. But he's already been working and he works at a hospital. and he actually loves it. He has patience that he deals with. He gives people advice. He's excellent. He's very good at what he does. But he's very diligent and he likes to get to work on time because he has anxiety about being late.

00:02:36 - 00:02:41 | Speaker 5:

That's me. Is that you? Yeah, I have to be early. Is he paid hourly?

00:02:42 - 00:02:55 | Speaker 2:

I don't know how they're paid. I know that he does well, but I don't know that it's enough. No, I think he just shows up. No, I don't think it is hourly. I don't know how that works. I think it's like a weekly salary or whatever it is.

00:02:55 - 00:02:55 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:02:55 - 00:03:36 | Speaker 2:

But he, he was showing up too early to the point that the boss actually said to him that he didn't need to come so early. And I said, how early are you showing up? And he says, sometimes I'd be there like an hour before I was working. And I said, well, what are you doing for an hour? And he goes, well, I just try to get my day going and stuff like that. Yeah. But I think it's one of those situations where they don't have enough room for everybody to be. And I think he's fine being kind of off and not getting in the way, But I think that the problem was he was coming too early and it gave, he was getting rid of his anxiety by coming early. They were actually getting anxiety. Isn't that a crazy reason? Yes. I mean, I've heard people get in trouble because they're late. I've not heard.

00:03:37 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 1:

Half of this show.

00:03:38 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 2:

Right.

00:03:39 - 00:03:40 | Speaker 1:

Every week.

00:03:40 - 00:03:49 | Speaker 2:

But that's, is that not a, is that not a weird, weird reason to get in trouble? Chris, hi. What's the craziest reason why you got in trouble at work?

00:03:49 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 1:

good morning guys good morning so as a therapist i see clients and a co-worker apparently said hi to me as i was ushering a client into my office and i shut the door obviously and he ran to my supervisor and said i was being mean to him oh my god give me a break because you did not say hi back i didn't say hi back um i there was a write-up which i thought

00:04:19 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 2:

with our union and i just was like come on people oh my god that's it by the way in that other we are grown up is that other person a therapist i'm not gonna because that's a sensitive person i don't know if i want a sensitive therapist i

00:04:35 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 1:

want my therapist to have a backbone listen i agree i the person no longer works with us so So I don't know what happened with that. I backed a couple of things. But, yeah, I was with a client. I was supposed to ignore my client and go, hey, how you doing, Mojo? It's good to see you. Listen, I'm busy.

00:04:57 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 2:

No, not at all. I'm sorry.

00:05:00 - 00:05:09 | Speaker 1:

And if I'm the client, I want to focus on me. You pay for your own session if you want to talk to her. Art, what's going on? Hi, what did you get in trouble for?

00:05:10 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 2:

I got in trouble for talking to a lady, and basically she was having the worst day ever. She was talking about ending her life, all types of stuff. My boss walked up, talking about stop talking so much. And she's like, oh, my God, he's sitting here, he's just that. She's, like, screaming at my boss. And then when she leaves, he's sitting there, like, grilling me about, you know, hey, don't talk to him too long. Get him and get him out. What kind of work do you do, Art? This is my old job. It's like, damn, duh. Okay, so it's like the car business. Okay, yeah, don't say too much.

00:05:46 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay, okay. That's what I was wondering what kind of work it was, yeah.

00:05:49 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 1:

But if you're talking a woman off the ledge, so to speak, literally to speak.

00:05:53 - 00:06:04 | Speaker 2:

I swear, yeah, because I'm very low-quacious. I talk to everyone. I greet everybody all the time, no matter where I'm at. And it was kind of cool. And she was happy when she left. So I've seen her again. So that was awesome.

00:06:04 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 1:

I cannot believe that people can be like this. That's a person that doesn't know how to manage. Danette, what's up, Danette? Hi, what did you get in trouble for at work?

00:06:14 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 6:

Hi, I got in trouble. I worked for an automotive, and we used to test speed sensors. And they put boring X marks on there with engraved it when they were good. So it was around Easter time, and I put a little Easter bunny instead of doing an engravement mark, and I got in trouble for it. I got time off and everything for it.

00:06:34 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 3:

Are you kidding me?

00:06:37 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 6:

I'm not. I'm not. They made an example of me, they said. And, you know, it was just one of those things that was so boring just putting a regular X mark. Sure. It was real tiny. Tiny little bunny.

00:06:50 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

00:06:50 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 6:

But, yeah, quite a few of them are getting time off for it.

00:06:54 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 1:

That's crazy. I can't believe all these people getting in trouble for crazy reasons. Listen to this one. Becky, what did you get in trouble for at work?

00:07:01 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 4:

We got in trouble for using too many Band-Aids. Band-Aids? Yes. Yes.

00:07:08 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 1:

What did you do? You cut yourself?

00:07:12 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 4:

It's anywhere from cutting ourselves, using it to, I work in automotive, so we'll push in our thumbs up to push in parts.

00:07:21 - 00:07:22 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:07:22 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. Yeah, and rather than give us the right supplies, they holler at us because we're costing them too much money for Band-Aids. Oh, my God.

00:07:30 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 1:

Band-Aids are furious. That's amazing that they would... I can see if you're stealing them and bringing them home, but if you're using them... How many billions of dollars of profit do they have the year before? Monica, I'm going to hire an attorney for yours. What did you get in trouble for?

00:07:44 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 5:

I got in trouble for pumping in our nursing break room. What? Despite being covered and facing a wall. I was charting at a computer, and the supervisor came up to me and said, what are you doing? And I said, I'm pumping and charting. And she goes, you can't do that. This is a nursing break room. And I was like, but I'm covered. She goes, that's a bodily fluid. And she made me leave, and I was so mad I cried because being a mom is hard enough to have to pump and do all those things. So I was really mad. but they changed the policy finally. You could really pump like wherever you wanted. Okay. Also, first time long. Yay! Hold on a second.

00:08:29 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to get in trouble.

00:08:30 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 5:

I was here to say Monica's in the room.

00:08:32 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 1:

Monica's in the room. Here, you imitate Kevin doing it yourself. Ready? Go ahead. Me? Yeah, you go.

00:08:40 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 5:

Monica's in the room.

00:08:41 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 1:

There you go. Monica's on the phone.

00:08:45 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 3:

By the way, that situation, those kinds of situations, get me so fired up and it makes me so happy that they changed the policy yeah yeah that's nuts yeah

00:08:55 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 5:

it was it was like something because the nursing supervisor wasn't actually my supervisor because i worked for a different department but i was so mad and so upset and i've been known that like as the one of the persons in the hospital who like did not give an f yeah where i pumped because i'm just trying to do my thing yeah um good for you i was just really happy they finally changed the It's a big system, so thank God for that. And making all the moms be able to pump whenever they need to. And it is a bottomless twist, but guess what? So it's not.

00:09:30 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 1:

What is this sound for a dollar?

00:09:38 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 3:

You know it well. That's my actual pump because I used to do it in the studio during commercials.

00:09:44 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 5:

it is like it almost makes me like my boobs start to twinge yeah it makes me lactate i lactate when

00:09:53 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

i hear it uh hold on jennifer got in trouble for the same thing my son got in trouble for jennifer you were reprimanded for being too

00:10:00 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 6:

early to work i was i was uh reprimanded because i was there i showed up several times early and

00:10:08 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 7:

i did get in trouble for it oh my god i can't believe i still can't believe that that can happen like that to me just does not make any effing sense no because i was brought up that being on time is being late yeah yes that's it that is so insane yep i ended up getting in trouble for it good lord i got listen to these people you tell me which one you want destiny got in trouble for cleaning out the fridge uh jason was in trouble for being a 49ers fan uh alissa got fired for posting at on tiktok at work and then liz worked at a chuck e cheese and dominoes at the same time and got in trouble for working at both which one add that one that one you want Oh, wait, no, no, one last one. Ann got in trouble for, she entered someone in an ugly Christmas sweater contest unbeknownst to them. Oh, my God, these are great calls. Which one? Last one. The ugly Christmas sweater. All right, ugly Christmas. Ann, are you there?

00:11:07 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 5:

I am here.

00:11:09 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 7:

You entered a coworker in an ugly Christmas sweater contest?

00:11:14 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 5:

I did. We were having an ugly Christmas party contest or ugly sweater contest during the holiday season. And one of my co-workers had worn a sweater that was particularly ugly that day. And unbeknownst to him, I entered his name into the contest. And he actually won. So he was quite surprised as to why he was getting an award.

00:11:40 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 7:

Because he did not enter the contest.

00:11:42 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 5:

And I actually had to, because I worked for the government at the time, I had to attend an anti-bullying class. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. You are so bad. We are getting crazy with this stuff.

00:11:55 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 7:

No, no, but that's funny, though. He wore that sweater thinking it was a nice sweater.

00:11:59 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 5:

He did. And he never wore that sweater again. I bet.

00:12:03 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 9:
