mojo in the morning uh phone number 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 844-665-6548 i got a lot a lot to get to today it is friday i got a big big weekend in store i'm going to sit on my couch and i'm going to binge watch a couple of netflix specials oh you need to watch

00:02:57 - 00:02:57 | Speaker 7:

Can I give you a recommendation?

00:02:58 - 00:02:58 | Speaker 5:

Yes, please.

00:02:58 - 00:03:01 | Speaker 7:

Zero Day with Robert De Niro. Zero Day. You are obsessed.

00:03:02 - 00:03:19 | Speaker 5:

It was so good. I, you know, I probably would contemplate that. I probably would love it. I have been like one of those ones where I've been trying to get to that Billy Bob Thornton show. Have you watched that at all? Mm-mm. Landman?

00:03:19 - 00:03:19 | Unknown:

Mm-mm.

00:03:19 - 00:04:52 | Speaker 5:

So I've been trying to landman it. But the problem with me and watching any kind of show and starting a new series is it takes dedication and desire. And I feel like my problem is if I know I don't have like a full day and a half to do it, because the first episode and a half or two episodes usually to me suck of shows. And then by the third episode, I am hooked, lined and sinkered. You know, I'm like all ready to go. and my problem with doing this is that i get to a point where i get such add boredom going and i pick up my phone and chelsea and i will be watching it together and she'll go did you just see what just happened and i'll go no it happened and i go rewind it and she gets really mad at me and then i feel like i have to re-watch the show it just gets it gets really complicated and she gets frustrated with me and she's like you want us to watch a show together you want us to have a show to watch together because i really do think it brings us together because we're together sitting there watching it and you can talk about it and then we get and then we get excited to go watch it like you know what i mean it's like i don't know it's like a kid getting ready to wake up on christmas to open up your presents do you want to wait the next morning it's like oh should we just doordash three meals today we did that one time those are the best days those are my favorite days we doordash three total meals together that one day and we had one doordash Dasher, the first one, and the third one came. It was the same guy came twice. I go, wow, you're working a long day.

00:04:53 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 7:

Does it make me old that my version of that is the new Jeopardy, pop culture Jeopardy with Colin

00:04:58 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 1:

Jones? Oh, is it good?

00:05:00 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 5:

don't you i haven't where do you watch that amazon prime it's only on prime okay yeah i know

00:05:04 - 00:05:26 | Speaker 2:

can i just uh throw out like just a quick do you mind just do will people uh mind if we just do like something off script and ask the question of what should i binge watch like what should what's what's the one that's worth doing and is it worth doing a show like i've been into these whole Netflix 3 and done

00:05:26 - 00:05:31 | Speaker 5:

like the Gabby Petito limited series or whatever they call them

00:05:31 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 2:

the Gabby Petito was one what was the other one that we just did you told me about that

00:05:37 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 4:

oh the devil in the family or whatever with the Ruby Frankie

00:05:41 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 2:

that was a good one I like them because they're 45 minutes there's 3 episodes they're 45 minutes to 48 minutes long and then I'm done and I feel like I can deep dive then for a little bit uh and i get i don't know i don't know necessarily if a drama is one i can do and then somebody was telling me the other day they're like yeah i'm binge watching i forget what show it was but it was a comedy you can't binge watch comedies yes you can like the office is not a binge watchable thing i think everybody just screamed at you you just watch it you don't binge watch it you just

00:06:15 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 3:

watch them and you let them roll binge show that and um seinfeld to me it's not as it's there's

00:06:21 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 2:

nothing like there's nothing that excites me to go and see oh I want to hear what the next episode is going because the next episode usually doesn't have anything to do with the last. I'm actually with you. I love

00:06:29 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 5:

a good day of watching TV and doing nothing but if there's no suspense and I like don't need to know what's happening I don't get as excited. Yeah.

00:06:38 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I don't know. I just I know you no by the way are you okay? Did we either hurt you or are you saying that because you don't want me to hear it?

00:06:48 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 3:

Both Both things can be true at the same time.

00:06:52 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 2:

Like I've, Megan, I've watched The Office at least 20 times. Like I've seen every episode at least 20 times.

00:06:57 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 3:

It's not that good.

00:06:57 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 2:

But I'm not going to sit down and go from start to finish on the deal because each episode doesn't run into each other. You know?

00:07:04 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I hear the words that you're saying. So yes, I know what you're saying. I just don't agree with you.

00:07:10 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 2:

All right.

00:07:11 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 5:

I want to know what's the worst is when your spouse is binge watching a show that you're not. and you have to be subjected to it when you're laying next to them in bed. Yeah. I want to gouge my eyes out if I have to hear Reacher one more time.

00:07:24 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Reacher I hear is great though.

00:07:26 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 5:

The acting is so bad. Really? So bad.

00:07:29 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 1:

I hear it's a great, is that a guy show maybe?

00:07:31 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 5:

It is worse than days of our lives. You don't get to say, I don't know how anybody can sit through that. So, and I wrote about, or I posted this on my Instagram and the girls were like, oh, he's so hot. He is not. Really? He looks like a meatball.

00:07:44 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh my God.

00:07:45 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 5:

With little skinny legs.

00:07:46 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Kristen, hi. How are you?

00:07:50 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Good morning, you guys.

00:07:51 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Yeah.

00:07:54 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 4:

First of all, I love The Office, so I can watch it at any day, but I do have a really good show recommendation. I don't feel like anybody talks about it, but it's called Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I think it's on Amazon Prime. It is. And it's not the movie. Have you seen it? I haven't.

00:08:10 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 3:

It looks so uninteresting.

00:08:12 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 2:

Childish Gambino's in there, right?

00:08:14 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 4:

Yes. It's the guy, Childish Gambino, I forget his actor's name or whatever it is. I love her, yeah.

00:08:19 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. That's Zach's favorite show. Zach loves that show.

00:08:23 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 4:

It's a really good show to binge, and it's a very cathartic experience if you're in a couple, because there's a lot of couple issues in it, believe it or not. And it's totally worth watching. I highly recommend it. It's really good.

00:08:38 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 2:

Go back to The Office. You can't binge watch it. You just watch it, right? You agree with me?

00:08:42 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I've seen it, like, hundreds of times.

00:08:45 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 2:

But you've never binge-watched it, right?

00:08:48 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 4:

I mean, yeah.

00:08:49 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 2:

I'm hanging up. She and I.

00:08:53 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 4:

You're evil, dude.

00:08:55 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 3:

I'm so evil. No, I'm joking.

00:08:58 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 2:

Sheila, what's going on? Hi.

00:09:01 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I can't watch The Office ever, if I'm being honest. Really? Why? I don't know. I just, I don't like stupid humor that much. But I will tell you, Landman is one of the best shows I've watched. I've heard that.

00:09:14 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:09:15 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 3:

It's so good. And his wife and his daughter, they make that show so enjoyable. They're hilarious. Yeah. You will love them. All right. Your wife will love them. I thought I wasn't going to, but your wife will love them.

00:09:27 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 2:

I've heard that it's kind of a better Yellowstone. Am I wrong?

00:09:31 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 3:

I don't know because I didn't watch Yellowstone. Oh, you got to watch that. That was great. I definitely liked Landman. And I think, what's the guy's name? What's that?

00:09:40 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 2:

Billy Bob Thornton.

00:09:42 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 3:

Yes. He's so hot for an old guy.

00:09:45 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God. Now I'm worried. Oh, wild takes.

00:09:46 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 3:

Left it right by dude.

00:09:47 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 2:

I think Reacher's hotter than Billy Bob.

00:09:49 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. Reacher's hotter than Landman. I think he looks mean and weird, and he's too big. Girl.

00:09:56 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 2:

Mm-hmm.

00:09:56 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Yes, he's too big. I don't know. I was so on board with you. And then you go, and.

00:10:00 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 6:

Billy Bob Thornton's hot, and you lost me. How big is he? He's like old man hot, though. He's like old man hot. Reacher is the kind of big that he can't put his arms down at his sides. It's like this when he walks. He looks lumpy, like not comfy to cuddle with. But then he's got like cartoon character, smaller legs.

00:10:16 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 5:

My wife loves me. She's like a triangle.

00:10:19 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 6:

I would prefer squish over like lumpy muscles. I don't know. I just always wonder with those guys, how do they wash their backs?

00:10:28 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 5:

have a have a great have a great day uh let's go to ally hi ally what's going on what should we

00:10:38 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 9:

watch you guys should watch hi um you guys should watch silo on apple tv it is oh okay so i kind of

00:10:48 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 6:

watched that like in and out when i was falling asleep but that is a very interesting show yeah And scary. It's a great concept. Yeah.

00:10:55 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 5:

What is it about?

00:10:56 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it sucked me in.

00:10:57 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 9:

Well, it's about...

00:11:00 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 5:

Go ahead. Somebody tell me what it's about.

00:11:02 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 9:

It's about like an underground silo when the world ends and they're trying to figure out if the outside world is safe or not. It's just really good.

00:11:10 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 5:

Oh, really? So it's kind of like a Walking Dead-ish type thing? Are there zombies?

00:11:14 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 9:

Yeah.

00:11:15 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 5:

Those shows are good. I kind of like those, but they give me so much anxiety. I will say this to you, and I don't know if this happens. When I binge-watch a show, I feel like I gain weight when I'm binge-watching because I find myself binge-eating while I binge-watch.

00:11:30 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah.

00:11:32 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 5:

Like, I have to, like, Instacart pretzels and FOD, too. I do a lot of FOD. That sounds so good. So good.

00:11:40 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 9:

And I just wanted to say, I met Kev at a Pistons game in December, and he was so, so nice. I know he's not in today, but just wanted to say he's, like, the best.

00:11:48 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 5:

Aw, we love Kev. We're wishing him well. I don't know if you know this, but he found out he's pregnant and he's, you know, right now at the OBGYN checking out his uterus and checking, I don't know.

00:12:02 - 00:12:04 | Speaker 6:

International Women's Month, baby. Equality for all.

00:12:04 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 5:

We should come up with some kind of a reason why Kev's here. Kev's in jail right now. We don't know if he's going to be okay. No, Kev is resting up. He's not well and he's got to rest up. What's going on, Katrina?

00:12:18 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 8:

Hi, Mojo. How are you?

00:12:19 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 5:

Fantastic. What's going on?

00:12:21 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 8:

Okay, so I want you to watch a show. I'm not sure if your wife likes stuff like this, but it's on Netflix. It's called Love on the Run. Okay. It's a real story. It's about a very highly respected prison guard who falls in love with a murder. All right, I'm into it. I watched that.

00:12:35 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 5:

And what's it on?

00:12:36 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 8:

Oh, it's so good. It's so good.

00:12:39 - 00:12:40 | Speaker 5:

I got to watch.

00:12:40 - 00:12:40 | Speaker 8:

HBO?

00:12:41 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

00:12:41 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 8:

Have you done White Lotus?

00:12:43 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 5:

Oh, White Lotus? Well, yeah, season three's out. I need to watch that. I thought that the first episode was a little weird. Well, they're all weird. I know they are, but I got to check it out.

00:12:53 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 9:

That and Righteous Gemstones just dropped, too.

00:12:56 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 3:
