Mojo in the morning show. Kev, kind of a scary moment took place. Here's the topic. Topic is, what did your kid put in their mouth and what did they swallow? God forbid they swallowed, but what happened with Journey? Man, so Josiah.

00:01:45 - 00:02:25 | Speaker 5:

Thank God for Josiah. He was around. So Jaren was crawling. She all over the place, moving quickly, moving fast. Oh, she's so cute. Like a little sonic. So she in the room. she's in like the our bedroom and i'm sitting on the couch and josiah is you know playing with whatever case like that and he yells out cherelle and then cherelle runs in there i can hear him she's like what's going on he's like journey got like a popcorn seed in her mouth and i'm looking cherelle like is using her fingers to like go in her mouth and pull out the popcorn seed so she pulls out the popcorn seed and she likes something else in here she lifts under her tongue and there's a penny in her mouth.

00:02:25 - 00:02:26 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no.

00:02:26 - 00:02:38 | Speaker 5:

Like a penny. She freaking out. Luckily, and thank God, nothing happened. She didn't swallow it or anything like that. But, like, who knows how long it was in there. Yeah. Thank God she didn't swallow it. She was close to, I imagine.

00:02:38 - 00:02:44 | Speaker 6:

This is the scary stage when they're crawling and it's like, nothing is off limits. Yeah. And anything they find, they put it in their mouth.

00:02:45 - 00:02:45 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:02:45 - 00:02:51 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Oh, thank God she didn't swallow it. Right. Or I'd have to introduce you to the team at Children's Hospital of Michigan.

00:02:52 - 00:02:53 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm not trying to do that.

00:02:53 - 00:02:55 | Speaker 6:

Because I know them all well. Poor Smith, right?

00:02:56 - 00:02:57 | Speaker 4:

They're all lovely.

00:02:58 - 00:02:58 | Speaker 6:

Hi, Liz.

00:02:59 - 00:03:08 | Speaker 4:

And I would think that, I mean, the magnets that Smith got were really scary, but the penny is not good to be swallowing, right?

00:03:08 - 00:03:11 | Speaker 6:

Nothing's good. Well, the penny can, like, block your throat. That's so scary.

00:03:12 - 00:03:13 | Speaker 4:

For real?

00:03:13 - 00:03:13 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:03:13 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Especially the little ones like that. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I always say that kids and me put everything in their mouth. I, for some reason, I find myself putting things in my mouth all the freaking time. Like what? Well, like every pen. Don't ever use one of my Sharpies because I guarantee you my Sharpie, I've been sucking on that thing like a freaking lollipop. Listening to Lil Wayne. But no, I put everything in my mouth. That I put in my mouth. I put my car keys in my mouth. I have my car keys. Oh, yeah.

00:03:46 - 00:03:47 | Speaker 6:

That's wild. Those are dirty.

00:03:47 - 00:03:55 | Speaker 4:

Look at me. I'm a fat guy. You put everything in your mouth. Scissors, I've put that in my mouth. You know, it's like, what are you doing? Scissors.

00:03:56 - 00:04:10 | Speaker 6:

Remember, we did the story a couple of years ago. And by the way, I still don't believe it, that people, hospitals were seeing an influx of people swallowing their toothbrushes. Come on, man. I swear on my life, it was a thing.

00:04:11 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 4:

And they get the gag reflex going, and it sucks it right in. No, I don't believe this.

00:04:15 - 00:04:21 | Speaker 6:

I didn't believe it either. How do you swallow a toothbrush? How do you go to the hospital and say, I saw a toothbrush?

00:04:22 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 4:

I'm telling you.

00:04:23 - 00:04:24 | Speaker 3:

At this point, you're like, this is how it ends.

00:04:26 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 4:

It happens because I think what ends up happening is I think that the people had that gag reflex that came on. And when the gag reflex comes on, it's not good.

00:04:35 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 6:

I'm not brushing my teeth that well. My toothbrush is not that far in my mouth. Mine is.

00:04:41 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 4:

I go back on my tongue so much because that's where all the smell comes from.

00:04:46 - 00:04:50 | Speaker 6:

Right. See, I brush my tongue, but I'm not going down my throat like that. I'm going to toothbrush. No.

00:04:51 - 00:04:53 | Speaker 5:

The moment I start to... Me too, Josh.

00:04:53 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 6:

This is a wrap. No, that's when you keep going.

00:04:55 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

I like your style. All right, guys.

00:04:59 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

It's Monday.

00:05:00 - 00:05:02 | Speaker 3:

It is early on a Monday.

00:05:02 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. That's what she said. What's up, Brittany? Hi.

00:05:07 - 00:05:08 | Speaker 6:

Hi. Good morning.

00:05:09 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 2:

What did your kid swallow?

00:05:11 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 6:

So, well, the story was really scary then. It's kind of funny now. But he was probably about, like, three and a half, four. He comes, like, rushing to me, like, holding his neck. And I'm kind of like, what is happening? Well, I realize he's choking. Now I'm panicking because I'm pretty confident I don't know the hind leg. I'm like, do I call an ambulance? I'm tripping out. So finally he catches his breath, and I assess that we're okay. He did swallow something, but we're okay. We don't need an ambulance. And I'm like, what did you swallow? Well, do you know, like, the weird bead, like, you put at the bottom of things, like, kind of a marble shape, but they're, like, flat. You, like, put flowers over top of them.

00:05:58 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:05:58 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 6:

like a glass thing so he kept telling me he's like that infinity stone and i was like the what and he's like the infinity stone he was like obsessed with like marvels and i finally figure out he was acting like he had swallowed like you know the stone from the uh thanos's uh his hand or his uh fist thing yeah so he had swallowed one of those marbles but he thought he was gonna

00:06:22 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 2:

to turn into the freaking thing oh my god what did you do did you have to wait for it to pass

00:06:32 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 6:

yeah so i ended up taking the urgent care and they took a x-ray it was already like making its way through like his small intestine so they were pretty confident that it would

00:06:42 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 2:

make its way through fast but and then you had to do what shannon did and have to look at the

00:06:46 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 1:

poopy for a week friday to friday man you guys a doctor friend of mine just texted me hi rad and she said i had to take a toothbrush out of a stomach once it happens you guys he's gotta call

00:07:00 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 4:

what's up amory hey good morning good morning what did your son swallow so he was about five years old we were at a play date everyone was playing in the garage and all of a sudden we started to smell gasoline so we went into the garage the kids had got they were got into the gas can somehow and you know how it's so strong you can smell it but i wasn't sure if he had swallowed it so i actually stuck my tongue in his mouth to see if i could taste the gasoline to figure out if he had swallowed it and he had so he had to call poison control oh my god for both

00:07:39 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Wait, you stuck your, you had to stick your tongue in his mouth to taste it. You couldn't just smell it?

00:07:46 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, because he was so strong. You could smell, I could smell it everywhere. I know, but if you smell it, what are you sticking your tongue in his mouth for? Just see if I could actually taste the smell of the taste of the gasoline. Girlfriend.

00:07:59 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 2:

That's her son, right? Yeah, that's her son. Okay. All right. Well, okay. Well, thank you for the call, Emery. Hi, Amanda. What's going on? Where are they from?

00:08:07 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 5:

Hi. hi how are you what's up i got a taste okay so i had just given my two-year-old daughter a bath and you know she's a runner so i'm trying to put lotion on her and i'm like what can i give her to distract her so i took my ring off of my thumb and i'm like here hold this while she's laying down i know where this is going on the ground yeah she puts it in her mouth and then immediately goes straight down her throat, which I knew as soon as she put it in her mouth. So I jerked her up off of the ground and had to give her the baby Heimlich. That is so scary.

00:08:47 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 2:

By the way, girls with thumb rings. I always say that there's something with girls with thumb rings. It's hot, right? It is. It's very hot. I like the thumb ring thing. I don't know what it is. It's kind of neat. All right. Well, thank you for the call. We appreciate it. We got a toothbrush swallower here. What's up, Susan? Or Shannon, I'm sorry. Hi, Shannon.

00:09:11 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I wasn't a toothbrush. I woke up the one morning and my two-year-old had eaten a whole tube of toothpaste. Oh, toothpaste. Oh, Lordy. Oh, my God.

00:09:19 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 2:

That's not going to do anything other than upset your stomach, right?

00:09:23 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I had to call Poison Control to make sure that they were good, and they just said that he would probably just start puking.

00:09:28 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow.

00:09:29 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 3:

You don't get like that, red wine and blue poop? Patriotic. Or the blue sparkle. My other son would actually catch flies and eat them. That is wild. That's disgusting.

00:09:44 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy. By the way, the next time you take him to the dentist, did he have any cavities at all?

00:09:51 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 3:

He did not.

00:09:52 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 2:

Can you imagine he swallows an entire thing of toothpaste and then comes back with like five cavities? You're like, what the hell? Although, just eating the stuff. I would eat everything. Did you guys ever eat Elmer's glue?

00:10:04 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. No. I didn't eat it. I would peel it off my fingers.

00:10:07 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 2:

But you would never put it in your mouth at all?

00:10:10 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 3:

Dude, rubber cement. Rubber cement was wild.

00:10:12 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Well, you sniffed the rubber cement.

00:10:14 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and then you would put a layer on your hand, and then it would get all, like, bouncy, and then you would chew on it with gum.

00:10:19 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. For some reason, I was like, all the stuff.

00:10:21 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 4:

Don't be surprised, dude.

00:10:23 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 2:

And I remember I went to a Catholic school, and it was literally all of us Catholic kids

00:10:29 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 3:

smelling markers the whole time it's like i'm done for sure yeah i think my cribs had lead paint

00:10:34 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 1:
