00:00:35 - 00:00:37 | Speaker 5:

Juliana, maybe we can ask an actual human.

00:00:37 - 00:00:46 | Speaker 1:

Yes, because I have questions and I bet you do too. Like, is it normal to sleep in separate bedrooms? We do that and I still need to know why my poop's been green.

00:00:46 - 00:00:51 | Speaker 5:

We've got actual people answering these exact questions. Listen to Bill and Juliana.

Hey, it's Alec Baldwin. This season on my podcast, Here's the Thing, I talk to composer Mark Shaman. It's about the hang. It's the pleasure of hanging out with the people that you're with.

00:01:11 - 00:01:24 | Speaker 4:

You know, Rob and I was always a great hang. And director Morgan Neville. Film school teaches you all the wrong things about making documentary. What do you want to say? Documentary is all about your ear. What do you hear? I feel like my job is listening really, really hard.

00:01:24 - 00:01:31 | Speaker 9:

Listen to Here's the Thing on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

00:01:54 - 00:01:56 | Speaker 2:

It was insane.

00:01:56 - 00:02:01 | Speaker 6:

Listen to Paul's Best Podcast on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

00:02:05 - 00:02:17 | Speaker 7:

The only good thing about playing eight hours of commercials in a row is we can get some food in. I just got a little food in. What did you eat?

00:02:17 - 00:02:22 | Speaker 8:

I had a little cottage cheese. What is cottage cheese, man?

00:02:22 - 00:02:37 | Speaker 7:

Cottage cheese is dairy. Oh, I love it. And it has a good way to make my metabolism better. It's a bowl of chunky milk you have to eat with a spoon. It's slightly spoiled. Delicious. No, put a little pepper on it. It's so nice. I love it. Just the concept is disgusting.

00:02:37 - 00:02:41 | Speaker 8:

It sounds disgusting. Do you add granola or fruit to it, or are you just raw dog and coffee?

00:02:41 - 00:03:18 | Speaker 7:

No, I like to just eat it plain. I like to eat it plain. Oh, God. But, I mean, listen, if I'm going to look for a decadent meal, like if I'm going to look for something that's a little bit more decadent, I would have probably have done I don't know maybe some hash browns with the daily jam next door if you're listening to us in the kitchen dude I don't trust a chunk of food you don't have to chew there are there are meals that are those what I call oh eff it meals like you know what I mean but then there are those meals that are just kind of like alright this is just what I brought from home and this is what I'm gonna eat to get to the next couple hours

00:03:18 - 00:04:51 | Speaker 8:

do you love we were talking a little bit do you love cottage cheese and so let's say this so have you guys ever heard of a show called the first 48 yes okay so for those who may be listening who are unaware of the first 48 these police officers in a town try to solve a crime within the first 48 because after the first 48 hours it's extremely difficult to solve said crime so they bring people in yeah amazing show if you want to watch something check it out what's it on i think it was on a and e way back in the day okay um but now they probably have full episodes on youtube so do your googles or daily motion whatever that is so when these police officers are trying to solve a crime they're investigating they're finding people who may or may not know what's going on and they're bringing them into the interrogation room when they bring them into the interrogation room they're laying it on thick pause right but sometimes they find the right person sometimes they don't but what helps them solve the case are individuals who snitch on other people and you can always tell who the person is that's going to snitch because first they start in the interrogation room and you see the table and nothing's on it then they cut away if they cut back and that table is still empty oh that person's good but if they cut back and it's a bag of mcdonald's on that table then you know for sure that person is for real yes yes you get rewarded you get rewarded you get rewarded if they are in there and they yapping away they drink and they drink they got the straw they got a couple pies you know that

00:04:51 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 6:

person's in there talking there's a lot of strategies there is a very sorry not to

00:04:56 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 8:

derail this whole conversation because i love this kind of stuff there was

00:05:00 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 2:

guy who admitted to killing his father and was sent to jail and his father was still alive and it was all because of the tactics that they did in the room false confession yeah so it was like a 17 hour thing and they kept bringing him food and brought him his dog and brought like a whole bunch of other things and he confessed to killing his dad who was alive snitch

00:05:19 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 3:

for mcdonald's now you mcdonald's is a snitch meal that's a snitch meal would you would you Like, what food would make you snitch on somebody? What food would make me snitch?

00:05:33 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 4:

Yes, what food would make you snitch? I have been, well, I will do anything for a twice-baked potato. I love twice-baked potatoes.

00:05:39 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 1:

I just started really loving those.

00:05:42 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 4:

Twice-baked potatoes are basically baked potatoes, twice-baked.

00:05:47 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 3:

Why do you eat the second meat? And they've got all sorts of cheese and things.

00:05:50 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 4:

You scoop the insides of the potatoes out, and then you put just the crap inside. It's so good.

00:05:55 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 1:

Sour cream. I don't know.

00:05:56 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 4:

But if I was looking at, like, a place, Chick-fil-A. You were sleeping with some Chick-fil-A? I like Chick-fil-A. I like it. And you give me that Chick-fil-A sauce. I could put Chick-fil-A sauce on literally a pile of Shannon's 18 dogs poo. How many dogs do you have now? What do you have? I don't even remember. It's got a freaking zoo over there.

00:06:19 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 3:

But I would put it on a pile of that poo, and I would eat it. What would be yours? For me, so it's a certain food from a certain time period because I feel like they done got gentrified a little bit in the season and how it used to be. Sweetwater Wings between 2011 and 2014. If you've been to Sweetwater Tavern, you got to go downtown across from the Strip Club Legends next to St. Andrews. Sweetwater Wings from 2011 about 2014. That is so specific. You can smell it from a mile away. Is it like crack fries that they have at? it's the chicken wings it ain't even the fries is like you can you can have the fries oh so it's

00:06:57 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 2:

the wings it's the oh my god okay that's funny that you say wings because there are two things that i desperately miss since moving from toledo and one of them is wings because i'm going to say something controversially yet brave there are no good wings in detroit and i don't know if you can say that i asked a million people people say sweetwater tavern years ago years ago not currently or Wingstop. No, ma'am. Nothing again. Wingstop. The other day you made fun

00:07:25 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 4:

of American Coney Island. Today you're making fun of all the wings.

00:07:28 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 2:

There's a wing place in Toledo that is amazing, super well known. And every time I go home, I get Frickers wings. I would sell out anybody for Frickers and a heartbeat. You give me flats only. Ooh, threaded. Okay. Did you take all of us to Frickers

00:07:46 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 4:

or did I just go with you?

00:07:47 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 2:

I think it was just you and I. I'll take you. I'll take you in a heartbeat. my love it is the best food in the world with some beer battered fries let's go all of you are getting sold out immediately you would give us up that or absolutely or sam marco's specifically

00:08:03 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 4:

sam marco's tacos those are good those are very good what are we calling this topic again this is called what is your snitch meal yeah is that what it is snitch snitch meal what is your snitch meal what would be the meal like if we fed you it you would pretty much tell us every deep dark secret about everybody. 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. Shanna, what about you?

00:08:30 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 1:

It would be a Chanel bag. It would not be a meal. Who's not going to do it for me? I am a lockbox. You skinny bitch. Chanel bag. There's not one food item. One. Nope, Chanel bag.

00:08:44 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 3:

Come on! What about those smelly ass egg things you eat every morning? Would you tell somebody for one of those?

00:08:51 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 1:

From Costco? No.

00:08:53 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 3:

She's eating those to stay skinny. She's not eating those for decades. Wait, all right. From Chanel to Costco.

00:08:58 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 4:

What about this? No, what is, don't you like some taco place or something like that?

00:09:03 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I do like Aldana's, but they got very expensive. But if you give it to me and I don't have to pay for it, I do that.

00:09:12 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, the cops are bringing it to you.

00:09:13 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's going on? Abel.

00:09:16 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Jamojo. So I just want you to know, not only me, but there's plenty of people that will cut you for some tacos.

00:09:23 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 4:

Oh, who had the best? Shannon just mentioned Aldana's, but what would be your tacos?

00:09:29 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 3:

Well, homemade tacos first.

00:09:31 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 4:

Yes. My wife loves these tacos where she deep fries the shell, the corn shell.

00:09:38 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, with the raw dough first.

00:09:40 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 4:

It's so good. And she puts like, it's so good.

00:09:44 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. You got to have that. And then you have the cilantro. You have to have the fresh ingredients.

00:09:48 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 1:

Wait, do you make your own tacos?

00:09:50 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 3:

You hear how you say it's a little drunk?

00:09:52 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

At a restaurant or at home? You're at an L room? At home. Okay, well, you sounded like you were, like, cooking right now. I didn't know.

00:10:00 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 7:

I was going to come visit you at your restaurant. No hablo inglés. Abel, by the way, not Abel.

00:10:07 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 1:

Thank you, Abel. We appreciate it. He said Abel. What's going on, Nikita?

00:10:14 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. My submission would be the house special loan name from Panda in Detroit on Grand River in Mexico. It has to specifically be that one.

00:10:23 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 1:

So not Panda Express, which I love Panda Express.

00:10:26 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, no. Panda Express.

00:10:28 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Panda Express is great. But the panda in there. Okay.

00:10:32 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 6:

All right. Bada Comerica Bay. Yes.

00:10:37 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call. Who are we giving up, by the way? Morgan, hi. What's your snitch meal?

00:10:42 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 5:

I would sell anybody out for the garlic and herb chicken from the Cheesecake Factory.

00:10:47 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh. There's so much to that menu. I never can figure out what to order. It's like that menu is like a yearbook from high school.

00:10:56 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 5:

And I live in Toledo, so I don't get to go often. and I always want to try something new, but I can't give up that chicken. I eat it every time.

00:11:02 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 1:

Come up and meet us here. We'll all, it's right down, literally, it's right down the street from the radio studios here in Detroit.

00:11:09 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 5:

Sounds like a deal.

00:11:10 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 1:

Brandon, hi, what is your snitch meal? Fleming's, a tomahawk. Oh, you know, I always forget about Fleming's. Fleming's, actually, it's just the name is so bad. I mean, Fleming's. But they make great steaks. That's a really good place.

00:11:26 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 7:

Absolutely. And if they still sold candied bacon, I'd do it for that. Candied bacon.

00:11:31 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 1:

There is a steak place, another steak place, and I can't remember if it's Hyde Park or one of those, like Capitol Grill, that has the bacon where it's, maybe it is Fleming's, where it's like literally big old things of bacon. It's like a whole pig on your plate.

00:11:46 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, it used to be Fleming's. They stopped doing it. That was great. What is candied bacon, though? Who would you give up, by the way? Oh, it's the best thing. I give up anybody.

00:11:57 - 00:12:04 | Speaker 1:

Brett, what would be your snitch meal? If the cops wanted you to snitch on somebody, they'd have to get it for you.

00:12:04 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 6:

A southern elephant ear. The nice, fluffy, carnival deep fried. Elephant ears are good. They are so good.

00:12:13 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:12:14 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 6:

On the contrary, Mojo, if you ever gave me one, I would never snitch on you.

00:12:17 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you're the best. Thank you. You're so full of crap.

00:12:21 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no. Food is my love.

00:12:23 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 1:

Somebody was just saying that one of those caramel apple things I talked about the other day at Blake's Orchard.

00:12:31 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 6:

The Queen's Apple. The Queen's Apple.

00:12:32 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to go to Blake's. Yeah. What about yours, Abby? What would be your snitch meal?

00:12:37 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 5:

Warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream. Ooh. I'm scared. Oh, it's so good. That's a little kid. You know what I mean?

00:12:45 - 00:12:46 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:12:46 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 5:

See, I like that. Do you have, like, a place where it's the best? Any. Because I'm a schmucker's pie girlie.

00:12:54 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 1:

Schmucker's.

00:12:55 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 5:

I love it.

00:12:57 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 1:

Low-key, back in the day, you can get away with that at McDonald's. Dude, the old ones. The old ones. They still have that or no? The pies? The pies. I don't know. And they're smaller now, too. They tripping. Alexis, what is yours?

00:13:12 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 3:

Hi. So, and I'm a Grand Rapids girlie. I'm across from Rosa Parks Circle. There's a place called Angel's Thai Food. Specifically, they have Angel's House Noodles. It's more of like a lo mein. It comes with the sauce. You can choose the spice level. It comes with the veggies. It comes with shrimp. It comes with chicken. She is so specific.

00:13:28 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 1:

She's reading off the menu.

00:13:31 - 00:13:33 | Speaker 4:

I would tell my mother out for that one.

00:13:33 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 1:

When Ellen was our producer, she got me into Thai food because she would always talk about how Fridays she would order Thai food.

00:13:41 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 5:

That's you, baby.

00:13:42 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 1:

And she would just sit there and she would get puffy on Fridays. Because what happens when you eat Thai food, you retain water for the entire weekend. And it's almost like you've got to work off the sweats after you have that stuff. That was so good. Yeah. Jackie, what are we eating? What's your... Hey!

00:14:04 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 4:

Anything with bacon. Anything with bacon and candy bacon, even better. If you go to J. Alexander's on their appetizer menu, uh-uh-uh. They got deviled eggs with little candy bacon, little sales. It looks like a little boat.

00:14:17 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 1:

Those deviled eggs are great. Yeah. I like also their queso dip. Their queso dip is good.

00:14:24 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 4:

Their food is on point. I asked for extra bacon one time for those little boats, and they brought me a little cup filled. And I just sat there and went to town. I was like, uh-uh. I would die for these.

00:14:34 - 00:14:41 | Speaker 2:

Kev, I will pay for the deviled eggs if you go to Jay Alexander and film yourself with the boat. I'm going, boom, boom, boom, boom. You're on my mind.

00:14:41 - 00:14:49 | Speaker 1:

Jackie sounds like when she eats, she makes noises. She's awesome. She's getting like heavy. Unique, huh, unique?

00:14:49 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 3:

Hi, mine is a seafood call from Mr. Crabb in Westland.

00:14:54 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 2:

Wait, where? Wait, seafood, I've been looking for a good one.

00:14:58 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

Mr. Crabb, Westland?

00:15:00 - 00:15:10 | Speaker 5:

Click on Detroit.com. They know what they're doing. Seafood boil. Isn't that great?

00:15:10 - 00:15:14 | Speaker 4:

I want to do a seafood boil. They're so good. I've never done one.

00:15:15 - 00:15:20 | Speaker 5:

I feel like a seafood boil. Don't you have to get rid of the shells before you eat it all? Or no, do you suck it out?

00:15:20 - 00:15:27 | Speaker 4:

It's in a bag, I think. Don't you dump it out onto your paper? I hate them. It's too much work.

00:15:27 - 00:15:30 | Speaker 2:

I don't want that. Don't poo-poo on it. It's flavor.

00:15:30 - 00:15:31 | Speaker 4:

You've got to, like, work the flavor.

00:15:31 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 2:

He doesn't like anything with flavor.

00:15:33 - 00:15:35 | Speaker 4:

I like anything that's deboned.

00:15:35 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 2:

Deboning. Putting the suck in success. I always wake up with Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning. Morning.
