Yeah, that's fine. 42. I had to think about it for a second, though.

Because my birthday is on the 19th, and I'm turning 42. So that's where 1942 came from.

We got to do it. And I got to tell you something. I noticed that when you said it at first, you were like, I'm 42. But then he's like that whole thing, and you were like, yeah, I'm 42.

I got a damn margarita. Well, I said it. I said it like that because I'm like, am I turning 41?

Yeah, okay. truly had a minute yeah the hesitation wasn't in the age it was just the it was how old right how am i turning yeah and i mean as a child when you hear certain ages like even when i talk to josiah who's 11 years old like i tell him i'm turning 35 this year and he thinks i'm about to die like as a kid you hear these numbers and these ages and they're so far beyond yeah your frame of reference that you think they're just they're close to death yeah yeah and 35 when i was younger was one of those ages where i have older cousins and i'm like man you 35 like life is really life and at that age like i can't fathom what that is like oh your life's halfway over when you're younger and somebody tells you they're 35 but like and just talking to you and mojo because y'all older than me like did it talking to the old people not not like because y'all not because i think i don't i think a lot of people die before they put in the grave you know what i mean like they just they give up on life or whatever the case may be like they're not living but like is there a certain point where you felt like oh man like I'm the term now is like I'm washed like I'm

old like is have you ever felt like that so my uh my mom died young my mom uh died and as I was approaching her age that yeah I was 14 years old when she died as I was approaching her age it was the most depressing year of my life I was going through like a really really tough uh tough time and I remember having conversation with you know Chelsea about it and stuff and then I remember calling up my sister and telling her on my birthday that you know this was a really tough year for me and I'm really having a hard time because this year is the year that mom died and she said to me she goes uh she goes you know that mom died when she was 50 and this was my

me turning 51 and i'm going oh i already lived past mom i'm good i thought my mom died when she

was i thought she was a year even a year younger but she you know so i had a really close family

friend and his father like he was an adult

right like I was seven or eight and he was a grown man but his father died young of a heart attack and the year he was the same age as his dad when he died was a really weird age to know

him that was Wes last year he was freaking out so Kev to answer your question about me I um I don't feel like it has ever really bothered me per se now two caveats to that um I still feel like in my head i am not about to be 42 like i took lucy to middle school orientation a couple of weeks ago and it was the weirdest thing to me i'm like how do i have a middle schooler i still remember my very first day of sixth grade like it has not registered to me that i am the age i am but if you guys remember and i brought this up on the air i don't ever really feel quote unquote old except in certain situations and last year it was that photo shoot that we all had and for some reason that day i was feeling a certain way where like kp and you megan and lydia i just like around you girls i sometimes feel i am older but i that day like it really really hit me that i was not feeling myself and i was feeling old and i was just feeling out of the loop and out of touch and all of those things and those moments sometimes will hit me but i never have a birthday where i'm like oh i'm about to be 30 oh i'm about to be 40 i really don't that doesn't bother me if it

makes you feel any better i always think we're the same age oh i'm true and i'm not even just i i feel that way about all of us on the show though like i there are let's be honest a few times there are references maybe i'm like huh but i like overall i forget how old everybody is and

how far apart we are i feel like we're very much together well you you have moments in your life and i think that right now for people there's you could be you're turning 25 and you've got a quarter life crisis or it could be you're hitting a number like a 30 and you're thinking to yourself oh my god i'm out of the 20s or what i'm seeing a lot now and chelsea and i were having this conversation because a lot of her friends are going through this and she's gone through this is when you turn 40 years old as a woman sometimes it changes a little bit because you start seeing yourself differently and when in reality everybody sees you the same they don't see you're feeling

different and i i will speak into that i have been very open about this crazy new word that i learned perimenopause that it was supposed to last for like 10 or 12 years i feel kind of funky but you you guys don't know that unless i say anything to you about it yeah and and honestly sweating

like a beast but can i be honest with you though there's it's happening even younger and younger than it happened to like your moms you know what i mean so it wasn't even a thing i don't think

that that word existed and i mean it was still a thing we just didn't label it but also please

put me through it now oh jeez i want to go through menopause so you don't want to be hotter you do

not want to get hotter but it starts the menopause what's up jordan hi oh for you good morning um i

have a five-year-old who talks tells me often that she wishes she were an adult so that she could make the rules um and one day we were talking and she was like i think when i'm 18 i can go outside by myself and i was like yeah probably and she's like no i think you guys die at that point because you're gonna be really old um i will be 45 yeah yeah you're done uh jaylen what's

her life that isn't it crazy to think that man she was what she was 39 years old she was about 38 39 yeah buddy that is young i mean i hate to say this that uh when when you know life is not fair when god takes your mom at 39 years old and as you get closer to that time you realize how much more life she was supposed to have exactly yeah buddy that's amazing to that you called up i appreciate it and i'll be thinking of you man um i appreciate that you know what made me started feeling old when all the players on the court now and now the coaches are younger than me when i look at basketball and i see how old is that coach i'm like that guy's like 40 years old and i'm like what you talked about lebron yesterday yesterday lebron dunked on a player that was born a year after LeBron made it in the NBA. Oh, my God.

You know what kills me when I see 16-year-olds driving? And I'm like, you should be in a booster seat. You're not allowed to drive.

cracking me up this morning um no i was just gonna say it's kind of the opposite i cried on my 30th walking into work and i was super happy on my 40th i just always thought by my 30th i'd have my stuff together you know i'd know what i'd want to do i'd be married kids all that and i wasn't and so i was really nervous i'm like oh my gosh life is over and then i was 36 when i got married and had my first child you know so it was kind of opposite and how old are you now i uh am about to be 50 in march congratulations you know what's you know what's amazing i will tell you what's

amazing is when you turn 50 because 50 seems like such a big number and people will look at you like You're not 50. They all think that you're, like, in your 30s or 40s.

I hope so. I hope so, but I'm a little nervous for 50. No. I don't think I'm going to cry, but I always thought when we were kids, I'm like, 50 is, like, grandma's age, you know? Like, that's old. So now I'm like, uh-oh.
