They always end up having something that they did over the weekend or did together over the weekend. And this weekend was a little bit, you know, I don't know, a mystery to me. Because you guys, after last weekend of nonstop texting and posting on social media, you guys were in the dark all weekend long. I didn't see what was going on. First off, did you guys not hang out? I know Lydia came in because she's going to talk first. KP and Lydia, did you guys hang out with each other this weekend at all?

No, not this weekend, surprisingly.

You guys have become, like, very good friends. I'd say so. I like it.

Which is great because they have to spend time in that closet all morning together. It would not be good if you hated each other's guys. That's right.

So this past weekend, I went with my friend Melanie to the DIA.

Oh, wow. That's fancy.

Yeah. We had planned and bought tickets to go at 3 o'clock, but we overstayed our welcome at a brunch. Sorry, Spike's guest. You know how that just happened to Spike. Spent too long. We were taking too long. So we were chatting and we ended up going a little bit late. And as we walked in, I noticed that the information desk line was way too long. And so was the ticket booth. And I got a little nervous because at the DIA, if you don't go at your certain reserved time, they'll tell you that you can't come in because they're so packed on weekends. I'm dumb. What's the DIA? The Detroit Institute of Art. Our big art museum.

Were you going to a special exhibit?

No.

Have you been anywhere, Shannon? You've never been anywhere. Well, I've been to the DIA, but not to the exhibits. I've been to the movie theater, and I've been to their events, but not to the actual art museum. What?

So how did you get into the DIA?

So then I peeked over to the security booth, and I saw security was stepping away. So I told Melanie, I'm like, what if we just ran through the doors? And she's like, we can't do that. I'm like, we sure can. This line is too long and they're going to tell us we can't go in. So I grabbed her and we ran right through those double doors. And she was like, I can't believe we made it through safely. So surprisingly.

You guys snuck into the DIA? We snuck in. I thought that those people that work the front doors there, the security people, that's the only thing they got in their life. So they are like very diligent about watching you.

Well, I started to get nervous because as we walked up the stairs, we got really close to a piece of artwork. And a security guard came over to us and was like, hey, the cameras just caught you. you have to be at least three feet away from the artwork you cannot be this close and we weren't that close but i got nervous because i thought he was gonna kick me out because of us sneaking in they monitor those cameras very well i feel like they have someone for each camera that they have

in there and listen because they could be an advertiser it's just not for me like you know what i mean like i'm just not in it so when i say go to a movie it's just that i'm a i hate museums I don't like museums unless they have touching things Where you can touch things You know what I mean So that's why the art museum bothers you

you sent a couple videos in the group chat a Thursday night during the concert at 10. So were you getting back at me for putting stuff in the group chat? Was that like revenge? Absolutely.

No, I wasn't. If I'm being honest, the group chat is the most toxic place in the world. It's very toxic. It truly is. Nobody answers. Nobody answers. Nobody responds. And then everybody's like, why don't we send group texts anymore? And then nobody answers and nobody responds.

Here's the thing. I'm going to go on right now. We're going to start with a clean slate. You can send a text if you want to send a text. You can do it on the weekends if you want to do it on the weekends. You can. And if you don't want to do it, mute it. That's the biggest thing. If you don't want to, mute it.

I feel like I'm back in high school where they're taking my phone privileges away.

No. You can do it any time. I just want to know you're alive. If it wasn't that you called me up because KP is looking for a car right now, and she called up asking a question about cars, I would have thought that something was wrong with you. I would have had to check in with you. So I was a little bit worried about you. And Lydia, you, you sneaking into the DIA mess, not a good thing to do. You get yourself into trouble doing that. Chelsea took me one time to go see the van It was either Van Gogh or some big one

And they weren't even the pictures Or they weren't even the actual pictures No, that wasn't the DIA It was something at the DIA recently No, I went to a DIA thing a couple years ago. I think it was Picasso or something like that. We were going to see it. And all it was was pictures of the stuff. And I was like, why am I seeing the pictures of it? Why don't they have the actual thing here? I don't know. And they wouldn't let me touch it.

Did you drink before you went?

That's probably, honestly, Shannon, that is exactly what I should have done. Got drunk before. Did you drink this morning? Because you don't even know. No, I'm waiting for people to call. It's Monday and we're not getting any good calls today. Our phones stink today.

I snuck into the Met in New York City, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, with one of my friends to see all of the dresses and things from the Met.

Yeah, it's easy to get in. It's just not easy to not get cut. Yeah, it's hard to get out without handcuffs. Yeah.

The Toledo Zoo.

When they raised the prices, we always take our son to see the lights at the zoo, and we didn't realize that the prices skyrocketed the year before COVID. So my husband went to the gift shop And then I paid for my son and I And he came out the gift shop doors And we walked in

yeah well i had a ticket for me and my son yeah and we walked like i paid for two tickets and we walked like right past the ticket booth and my husband right there he joined us and we walked in

Yeah, that's right. We had our little Samrock ears on and all our green, and we hopped in, and we ended up behind the Quaggers family, walking with them. Oh, my God. That's funny. But the thing is, once you get in, you can't get out. We were walking for quite some time, and then we finally had to literally, like, heave over the barricades to get out.
