If I can find any reason to not go someplace but still get the services, I am a happy camper. and there is a dry cleaning service that has like these lockers in downtown and you can just go put your stuff in a locker like you set up an account on their app they give you updates and then they're like hey your stuff's back in your locker thanks for using our services so convenient love that

and it's just for dry cleaning yeah put your stuff in that's kind of a cool idea it's almost

like amazon uh the amazon lock yeah yeah so i uh get a notification yesterday that um my items are ready for pickup it's in this locker here's your code to unlock it have a great day thanks for using our services so i go to the locker i open it up and i'm slightly confused because there is a hanger in there and stapled to the hanger as a receipt with my name on it but the coat that i dropped off is nowhere to be found and I'm thinking well it's in a building it's like a dark like the whole locker is black I was like maybe it fell off the hanger that's unfortunate but maybe so I turn on my flashlight I start like rubbing down the sides of the locker I'm like metal metal metal metal where is my jacket who in their right mind works for a dry cleaning company has a hanger that they have to deliver somewhere and goes yes this person definitely only has a hanger and a receipt why would you not contact the company and be like hey i think an item of clothing is missing yes and then i call the company because there's a phone number they're like oh if it's after hours call this phone number if there's like um an issue with your locker so i call that phone number and i talked to a woman and she was like i got no idea you're gonna have and call back in the morning. I'm like, why is this listed as the help number after hours if you don't help? I have no idea where this jacket is. I cannot find a replacement for it. I thrifted it.

What jacket again was it?

I have a Toledo Fire Department formal. You told us about that thing. You're wearing that Friday. That's my plan, and I needed it today because I was going to rhinestone all of the patches and their colors. And I got all of these cool pins for it, and I, like, I'm so excited to wear this jacket and I cannot get another one. Like, you can't just go, I'd like to go buy another fire department formal suit jacket, please. And I have no idea where it is. Who puts a hanger in a locker with nothing on it?

That is somebody that does not care about their job.

Do we think that somebody stole it maybe out of the locker?

I don't know if somebody stole it or genuinely maybe it just fell off of the hanger.

So you're, benefit of the, well, I was going to say benefit of the doubt, I would go right to theft, but I would think somebody just went in there, got in there, stole it, and then just left the evidence of the hanger and stuff. So you're thinking that some dummy from the cleaners or whatever put just a hanger with a thing on there.

It's almost as if like an Amazon delivery driver saw a box that had opened up and is now empty and then set it on a person's porch and was, like, delivered.

So these lockers, because in my mind, it makes sense if they have, like, some type of code. They do. So the person had the code. So it's not like some random person could come by and be like, ooh, nice jacket. Correct.

See, I wonder if maybe they didn't shut it all the way.

No, it was locked.

But I'm saying the first time, they didn't shut it all the way. Somebody saw it open, saw it in there, grabbed the jacket and took off with it.

And then pushed it shut.

They got to have cameras.

Because I'm going to tell you this. If an Amazon guy delivers an empty box and the box looks like it's been open, somebody stole it. Your neighbor was a porch pirate. Or there's some porch pirate coming by. Yeah. I think you got it. What would they call it? Locker pirate. I don't know.

I feel bad for you. You were really excited about this jacket on Friday. I didn't even know about the pins and the sequins and rhinestones.

I'm so angry. I'm so angry it's not even funny.

But what's such a process is you can't replace it. Right. It was a one-of-a-kind thing. Correct. And that's what makes me mad. Not like you can go to H&M and buy a new jacket. Correct.

Has any of our listeners ever been robbed like this where they, you know, like I wonder if anybody's ever used, because I used for the first time last weekend one of those Amazon lockers. I usually get Amazon delivered right to my house.

But we were away and Joe, my son, was with me and Joe's like, we can have it ordered and have it delivered to the lockers at this. There's a 7-Eleven that does it. And I've never done that before. And I thought that was the coolest thing ever. It was kind of cool. I could have it just delivered to the locker.

I had an apartment. People used to steal laundry straight out of the washer in the dorms back in college.

Really? This is kind of like that.

I had an apartment building, though, that had those Amazon lockers in the lobby, which was awesome. Yeah. Except for when people would get their HelloFreshes and then leave them in there for four days. Yeah. And then all the food expired in the locker.

That was bad. Not fresh anymore.

I said, big fan. 734 says, sounds to me like the person actually cleaned it out or that cleaned it, lifted it. That's interesting. So, like, maybe somebody from the dry cleaner possibly did it. Like the person or the delivery person from the dry cleaner. Another texter here. This is from 248. says I actually, Mojo, had my stuff robbed from an Amazon locker. It has to be an Amazon person, right? Or they just didn't shut the thing. Because when you go up there, you just scan that thing and that locker goes boop and pops right open. Megan, this is one. I'm a huge fan of Megan and I'm coming on Friday. I wanted to see Megan in that firefighters out jacket.

What do you do when dry cleaning loses your stuff, though?

Oh, my God. That's the worst.

It is.

We went to a bad dry cleaner. It was so bad, they lost stuff of ours, but then they also used to smoke in the dry cleaner, and our stuff would smell like chemicals and smoke together. What's up, Brad?

So I went to a driver's, and I am a man-tastic gentleman. So I'm on the bigger, taller side. Okay. Or bigger, less taller. When they went to give me my clothes, it was a shmedium. And I'm like, I said, this isn't my clothes. And he's like, yes, it is. It matches your tag number. I said, ma'am, this wouldn't even fit around my arm.

Was it the same looking type clothes? It was just the smaller size?

Not even clothes. It was this Hawaiian shirt. I dropped off a striped button-up.

Brad, I feel your pain, brother, because when you're a bigger guy, there's not a lot of places that have our sizes. So if we are holding on to that striped shirt, we want to wear the striped shirt. That's what I'm saying. Which, by the way, I'm sorry. If you're a bigger dude, you can't wear stripes. Stripes look bad on bigger guys.

Really? Well, in this one, it was a weird design, and it actually held in all my fantasticness.
