cts and c's 21 plus sponsored by chumba casino mojo in the morning i talk all the time about my kids and my family while i was talking to my son joe from the joe show and he was he had a discussion on his show where they were getting into a debate over where joe was conceived because he's such a disney fanatic and there is been a little bit of a disagreement between chelsea and I that Joe was conceived we know on our honeymoon but our honeymoon was split we spent partial honeymoon at Disney World and I believe that Joe was conceived at Port Orleans which is a hotel at Disney World. Chelsea believes that it was on the second part of our honeymoon which was on a carnival cruise line which was the second part of it because I think we did three days at disney and we did four days on a carnival cruise line so chelsea says as a mom she knows where he was conceived well i'm gonna say this to you i know i got more than just once and i and i believe it was the port orleans thing but as a woman shannon do you know when it's the conception happens exactly you can tell so you can tell the moment that it happens uh you can't tell the

00:03:11 - 00:03:18 | Speaker 2:

moment that it happens i just i know exactly like which time and when it was yeah okay all right

00:03:18 - 00:03:58 | Speaker 5:

well so we we talked a little bit about this the debate went on and i think that's why joe is such a disney fan exactly he makes sense he's a disney adult which by the way disney adults are the biggest losers in the world but don't we won't get my son my son is a total but um for the other two boys for jacob i know where he was conceived he was conceived in bed in uh in our house so we we actually tried for him so i and actually and i believe 100 almost 100 percent that it was it was not nighttime conception it was actually during the day because chelsea would call me and tell me when she was ovulating and make me come home now they have those sticks you can pee on you

00:03:58 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 2:

know exactly when amazing at the time that's why i say i know exactly because i that's yeah that's

00:04:03 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 5:

what i was doing it was amazing so and then the uh the third child of ours luke i know where he was conceived he was also conceived in our bedroom but it was right after chelsea turned 30 and it was uh his conception came after chelsea called me a uh a stupid dumb or stupid mother effer i think or something like that that night because i had said something really stupid and so she felt really bad about calling me the name so we had makeup sex so it was just kind of interesting isn't interesting that your conception story kind of plays a part in their personality like jacob's the only one that actually has any semblance of a life the other two the other two are crazy wild cards so i i don't know if you guys feel this way but i feel this way i wish i knew how i was conceived or where i was conceived like i've asked i asked i think

00:04:58 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 2:

i asked my dad or maybe i asked my mom it doesn't matter

00:05:00 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 1:

I asked either my mom or my dad, and they said I was conceived like Jacob, just in bed. You know, there wasn't really like a fun story to it. No, they wanted me. That makes sense too, though.

00:05:11 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 2:

I'm the youngest of six, and I was a total accident. So I wonder what happened. Like, my dad, I would get my dad probably had like a martini or something.

00:05:20 - 00:05:44 | Speaker 1:

I feel like this makes total sense. I've never thought about this before. But I feel like it does kind of set the tone for who you are as a person. Can we call your dad? All right. Or your mom. Sure, yeah. I don't know how I was conceived. I know my sister was conceived in Jamaica. Really? Yeah. How do you know that? They told me. They talked about that? Yeah, for sure. How do you know how your sister was conceived, but not you? I don't know. I never asked about mine. I don't really care.

00:05:44 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 2:

Does it bother you that you were not conceived in a nice place like Jamaica?

00:05:47 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 1:

I'm here, bro. I don't care if it was in the alley. I'm here. That's all that matters.

00:05:52 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 2:

But would that not be a great story? It would explain a lot. I think, Lydia, this would be a fun topic if we can piece this all together live. and by the way, we're live, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548-TAX-95500. What if we were to have people who do not know how they were conceived call us up or where they were conceived, call us up, and then we'll call your mom, and we'll ask your mom how you were conceived.

00:06:19 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 1:

Oh, verify the story.

00:06:21 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 2:

Yes. I think that actually would be kind of great.

00:06:25 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 1:

Conception verification.

00:06:26 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 2:

Is that what we call it? Conception, yeah, we got to think of some kind of a name for this podcast. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Text is 95500 on this one. It may take a little bit of doing to get this together, but I think we can. Is there a way that, can we dial dad or mom?

00:06:50 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I got to follow my dad's, he changed his number. What? And I didn't save his new number. Why did your dad change his number? I don't know. I don't even know how I was conceived. I ain't asking about his number. I just found it, though, Lydia. I'm going to text you.

00:07:03 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 2:

That's interesting when somebody changes their number. I think I've had the same number since I had a number. I don't know.

00:07:11 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 1:

I have a number from a different state because I'm too lazy to change my number. I do.

00:07:16 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 2:

When somebody changes their number, I think they're running from a bill collector or something. Is your dad running from a bill collector?

00:07:21 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I just texted you, Lydia.

00:07:24 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Katie, are you there, Katie?

00:07:27 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I am.

00:07:28 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 2:

Katie, we're talking about how you were conceived, but you actually are calling up about your son. How was he conceived?

00:07:35 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 3:

He was Christmas Eve at my parents' house.

00:07:38 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 2:

That's great. So what's the story? You guys celebrated Christmas at your parents' and went up to the room after a night of opening gifts?

00:07:47 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 3:

It was actually Christmas Eve. And the funny thing is, my husband at the time was working third shift, so it was like the only time I really had seen him. And the next day after the baking cookies, I end up vomiting at my in-laws' house, and they're like, oh, you're pregnant. I'm like, haha, that's funny. And then we found out, yeah, I was. Oh, wow.

00:08:15 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. That's awesome, though. Isn't that great? Yeah. That's cute. I love that story. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Ashton is on with us right now. Ashton, are you there? Yeah. Do you guys want me to get my mom on the line? Lydia got your mom on. We got Lydia working overtime here. Yeah. So you have no idea how you were conceived. Are we going to find out this morning for the first time?

00:08:45 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 1:

No, I actually know. Oh, okay, so let's have your mom tell us then. It's a good story?

00:08:52 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's pretty funny, honestly.

00:08:54 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 2:

In a couple of words, just to kind of give us a tease, what would be the story's title? Pork Chop Baby. Pork Chop Baby. Pork Chop Baby. Hold on. Ashton's mom is on. Ashton's mom, are you okay with being on the Mojo in the Morning Show?

00:09:12 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I'm okay.

00:09:13 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 2:

Hi, mom, what's your name?

00:09:14 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 4:

Pork Chop Baby. My name is Charmaine.

00:09:18 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 2:

Charmaine. This has got a strip club in it. Tell us about Ashton and where and how he was conceived.

00:09:27 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 4:

Well, so his dad was working out of state, and he came home for the weekend. And we were frying pork chops and decided we needed a quickie. So we left my niece to fry the pork chops, and we got a quickie.

00:09:46 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Wow. They were some big cut pork chops, weren't they? They were like sitting there sizzling on the frying pan.

00:09:57 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 4:

Yes, yes.

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Say, we don't need no sign.

00:10:00 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 5:

it's just the pork chop wait so wait so ashton how many times has your mom or dad told you the

00:10:06 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 2:

pork chop baby story um i i would say probably like a handful of times um it i've wanted to know quite a few uh times and i've wanted to hear it because i i just think it's honestly hilarious um and we we like to tell it around the dinner table you know it's just a real funny thing when and we have a new person who's pretty close to us to tell.

00:10:32 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 5:

That's great. By the way, do you guys on your birthday make mom's pork chops again, or what happens?

00:10:38 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. You know, honestly, Mojo, I think we should start doing that. That's a great idea.

00:10:44 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 5:

That's a good one. All right, Mom, well, thank you for being on with us. Ashton, great job, buddy. Thanks, man. Yes, sir. Thank you, Mojo. Bye, guys. What a great story. That's awesome. Mom getting all crazy with the pork chops. I love pork chops.

00:10:58 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 3:

You do?

00:10:59 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 5:

I do. I'm a big pork chop guy. If you know what I mean, Kevin.

00:11:04 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 3:

We ain't going, huh?

00:11:05 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 5:

Hold on a second. Gail, are you there, Gail?

00:11:08 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. How are you guys?

00:11:10 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 5:

We're having... Help. We're having conception fun this morning, Gail.

00:11:14 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 3:

I don't have help for you. I have a laugh for you. So my oldest son was conceived in a Walmart bathroom. No way. No way. I love this. Tell us that story. Yeah, boy. And I love telling this story because I was 19, okay? I was a young mom. And I was at the bus stop, and I met my ex at the bus stop. He came with me. I used to work at that Walmart. Came with me. And we had a quickie in the bathroom. And, yeah, that led to my kid.

00:11:45 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 5:

Was it a regular stall, or did y'all use, like, the parent?

00:11:47 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 3:

No, it was a family bathroom. It was a family bathroom. You could walk it. Okay.

00:11:52 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 5:

That's awesome. That's kind of cool. He's a Walmart kid. We love it.

00:11:56 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 3:

He's a Walmart baby.

00:11:58 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 5:

Remember they used to say, I want to be a Toys R Us kid? Yes. I want to be a Walmart kid. Mojo in the Morning Show. Hold on. Rachel, are you there, Rachel?

00:12:07 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 4:

I am.

00:12:08 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Rachel. We're talking about where you were conceived. How are you?

00:12:12 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 4:

I'm good. How are you guys? Fantastic.

00:12:14 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 5:

You want to tell us about your son?

00:12:17 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 4:

Yes. So a couple years back, I was working at Waffle House. and my boss and I would go to B-Dub's across the street and get plastered after work and I had seven Jameson shots one day and that was seven too many and we conceived my son there after.

00:12:37 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 5:

Wait, you had an affair with your boss and your boss got you pregnant at Waffle House?

00:12:44 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:12:45 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 5:

That's unbelievable. These are great stories.

00:12:48 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 4:

That's not even the craziest thing I could tell you about Waffle House. Stop it. What's the best? What's more? Oh, God. I don't even know where to begin. Well, let's just say he got two other girls pregnant there, too.

00:13:01 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God. That was a blaze. Tell me.

00:13:03 - 00:13:08 | Speaker 4:

He was managing for real. Man. Shout out to Tyler. He's a deadbeat dad. Wow.

00:13:09 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 5:

Tyler. Oh, geez. He's probably not working in that company anymore, is he? He's probably at a Waffle House.

00:13:16 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 4:

Oh, he dipped really, really quick. I couldn't tell you where he's at.

00:13:20 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 5:

Unbelievable.

00:13:21 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 4:

Should have been at a Coney.

00:13:22 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 5:

Hold on. Somebody said we should call this Conception Confessions. I like that. That's a good idea. Zach, remember that. Conception Confessions. Gretchen, where did you conceive your son?

00:13:33 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 3:

In a bounce house.

00:13:34 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 5:

In a bounce house?

00:13:36 - 00:13:37 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

00:13:37 - 00:13:37 | Unknown:

I like it.

00:13:38 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, for my first son, for his first Christmas, we had it set up.

00:13:42 - 00:14:19 | Speaker 5:

That's unreal. In a bounce house. How do you do it in a bounce house without the other kids, like all over the place? Particularly the slide. You got to be sly. I like that. You got to take your shoes off. That's right. You know what? That's actually true. Your shoes are already off. That's actually not bad. All right. Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Vinny was conceived in a watermelon patch. Is that right, Vinny? Watermelon. Huh? You were conceived in a watermelon patch? Is that what I'm understanding?

00:14:21 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 1:

Yes, sir. My mom was a country girl in Arkansas, and I asked her one day, I said, well, I just asked her where I was born and all that stuff. Oh, yeah, you was conceived in a watermelon patch. We used to meet, you know, she was 16 years old, and my father used to meet up in a watermelon patch. And one time, you know, they got on into it a couple times. And one time, they got shot at.

00:14:55 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 5:

Oh, geez. It's Arkansas. You got to understand that.

00:15:00 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 7:

That's Arkansas. Well, it could be worse, I guess. Zoe, hi. Where were you conceived?

00:15:05 - 00:15:09 | Speaker 6:

You shouldn't spit the seeds out. I found out as an adult that I was conceived in a pool.

00:15:10 - 00:15:14 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my gosh. And they didn't, like, come up with some kind of crazy name for you, huh?

00:15:16 - 00:15:22 | Speaker 6:

No. No. Well, so I was adopted, so my adopted parents named me.

00:15:22 - 00:15:29 | Speaker 7:

They named you Zoe. You know what's wild is that pool conception is a big deal. I've heard a lot of people that have sex.

00:15:29 - 00:15:31 | Speaker 4:

That is my least favorite way to have sex.

00:15:31 - 00:15:31 | Speaker 7:

Really?

00:15:32 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 4:

Like, place to. Oh, wow.

00:15:34 - 00:15:40 | Speaker 7:

I like it. I didn't know that. I like it because when I'm in a pool, I feel skinnier for some reason. I feel like I got better moves.

00:15:40 - 00:15:41 | Speaker 1:

You've done it in a pool.

00:15:41 - 00:15:45 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yeah. I don't think I've ever done it in a pool. You got to try it in a pool. What's up, Mike? How you doing?

00:15:46 - 00:16:07 | Speaker 8:

Are you supposed to? Hey, what's up? How you guys doing? Good, Mike. What's going on? So, my daughter's birthday is on November 14th, and on Valentine's Day, nine months to the date that year um me and my ex were cooking dinner together and she threw a knife at me and we ended up making cookies after she threw a knife at me so i decided to get pregnant

00:16:07 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 7:

i decided that was the best that was the best you know what's funny though is luke was conceived after fighting like chelsea and i were fighting there was no knives thrown but that i think that makeup fighting fun sex like that actually makes for a fun child so i'm assuming that yeah i'm Assuming that you have a fun kid there, huh?

00:16:25 - 00:16:29 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, she's very fun. She's pretty crazy, just like her mother. That's awesome.

00:16:30 - 00:16:37 | Speaker 7:

That's incredible. Well, thank you for the call, buddy. I appreciate it. Yeah, you guys have a good day. All great stories. There you go.

00:16:37 - 00:17:03 | Speaker 3:

This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

00:17:45 - 00:18:30 | Speaker 1:

Alan Lee, my major is drafting and design. In high school, I did it since my sophomore year, and I kind of wanted to continue it. It was the only thing I was good at. I didn't want to move to a four-year yet. I don't think I was mentally prepared. I found Bishop State. They had the program. I met a few people there. I ended up enrolling. The instructor, first day I met him, I told him about my background. He said, okay, great, you know about this. He built me straight to work. He didn't let me have any leeway. He pushed me to my limits. So I think that made me choose drafting design at Bishop State and stuck with it. The sport's amazing. All my instructors just want to see me succeed. They want to push me to my limit. They want to see me be the best I can be. get a job, just be as successful as I can be, and I really appreciate all of them. With my degree, as of right now, my plan is to work for the city of Mobile with their urban planning department, and I've already got a job shadow before, and hopefully I will end the ship over the summer. If you choose Bishop, we're welcome to have you any day.

00:18:30 - 00:18:37 | Speaker 2:
