good morning welcome to the mojo in the morning show happy jingle ball day excited for tonight it's finally arrived december the 6th 2022 the jingle ball tonight is going to be so much fun and we are so excited by the way ticket sales yesterday were just like ridiculous And there are still tickets available, but our bosses are saying, you better go check it out quick. I actually had, like, all the people that I forgot asked me for tickets text me yesterday.

00:03:59 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no.

00:04:00 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 7:

So it was one of those days where it's all of a sudden I'm, like, getting a text message, you know, from Jen Sawala. Hey, can my cousin get those tickets that you promised? I'm like, oh, crap, I forgot about those. And then the text message that came in, you know, from my favorite waitress over at Eddie's, you know, and then. Is it Laura? I mean, everybody. Is she coming? Well, Laura has something going on, and she said she cannot come. But I then promised that Laura's tickets will go to somebody else, and somebody else then contacted me. But it was one of those things where it's like I only said yes to like maybe six people.

00:04:41 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 1:

I'm glad you said that because when I said no to a lot of people and then they hear you say you're giving them out to waitresses, I'm like, no, no, no.

00:04:47 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 7:

I swear I couldn't get you tickets. Well, can I tell you what ended up happening then? So I ended up – like yesterday was the day of gift cards. You remember all those gift cards that you guys have given me over the years?

00:05:00 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 1:

and friends and family have given me over the years. Yeah. And I was telling you guys about how I have a gift card drawer. So I ran out of the comp tickets that Tony gave me. And let me take this jacket off because it's going to be like this all morning.

00:05:12 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 2:

I like it though.

00:05:13 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 1:

Sorry.

00:05:14 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 2:

I like it.

00:05:14 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 1:

I'm like, I got flustered in here. All right. So I went through my gift cards because I realized, oh, crap, I think I'm short. And I found a couple of Visa gift cards and a couple of Amex gift cards that were given to me by somebody. I have no idea who it is. And then I found a 313 Presents card. So that's where we're having it. It's 313 Presents. It's the people from Little Caesars Arena. I ended up buying two pair of tickets for people. One of them was for friends of Chelsea and I, Katie and Mandy, her friend. And then another two people. So I'm going to tell you guys something. If I could have used that, what's that place that you bought me a gift card to, Megan? Oh, the float spa. The float spa? Yeah. No, it's the one where you sit there and you go in and you just kind of like sit there and float in water, right? Yes.

00:06:14 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 2:

It's a deprivation tank.

00:06:16 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 1:

Deprivation tank. If I could have used that.

00:06:17 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 2:

Is that called Revive?

00:06:19 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 1:

If I, no, I don't even know.

00:06:20 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 2:

That's the one that closed. Remember when I told you the other day, I was like, it permanently closed.

00:06:24 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 1:

Well, if I could have used that gift card, I would have used that gift card.

00:06:27 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 2:

True rest. True rest.

00:06:28 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 1:

True rest. I was looking at Chili's gift cards, which, by the way, who doesn't love Chili's chips and salsa? Have you ever tried Chili's chips and salsa? They're so good. I know it's so random. Back on track. Where are you going with this conversation? So long story short, so let me tell you this. I bought tickets yesterday, and I gave out the rest of my comp tickets that I got. The buying of the tickets, there's still some good sections available. So the top areas pretty much sold out. So the upper level, the $35 tickets, gone. Okay? Those are all sold out. The bottom bowl area are still available, including some tickets that are in the first sections.

00:07:09 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 2:

Those are $50 tickets. Yeah. They're still a good price.

00:07:11 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 1:

Well, those ones aren't $50. Those ones are actually like-

00:07:14 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm saying they're still $50 tickets. Oh, there are tickets. I just want to say that. Yeah. And by the way, when you sort by price, it might not show the cheapest price. Click on different sections and other lower tickets come up. Yes, because it'll show you best available.

00:07:27 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 1:

Well, the other thing that I noticed, too, was if you put in singles, there were some good singles at good prices. In the single seats, there was one person in between you or two people in between you. And I know this is bad to say this because they probably don't like you to say this. But can't you ask somebody to move? Can't you just say, hey, listen, I'm here. They're here. can you guys slide down one you know what I mean or something like that uh hell we do it on airplanes you know right so why not do that but um but it's gonna be fun it's gonna be really fun I was texting with Fred from the Fred show yesterday at 103.5 Kiss FM they had their jingle ball how'd it go um he said it was spectacular he told he told me like I said to him I go I'm having anxiety and he goes what's your anxiety about and I said it's not about being on stage. It's not about any of the radio room interviews we're going to do and stuff. It's about as soon as I want it that way comes on, how can I get to my car?

00:08:24 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 2:

Is that the last song?

00:08:25 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 1:

I'm assuming that they got either that or last Christmas.

00:08:30 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 2:

I'm nervous because I'm carpooling with Mike and Allie and I keep thinking I don't want to rob them of the joy of Backstreet Boys, but same thing. When the last two songs hit, I want to be barreling towards the car And now I've taken on luggage I've taken on extra cargo Because I don't want to ruin it If Ali's having fun, I don't want to ruin it

00:08:50 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 1:

Why are they not here? By the way, I don't want it that way I want it in my car That's what I want I want to make sure that I get to my car as fast as I can

00:08:59 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 2:

And not to sound like poo-poo, no fun havers But we still have to be here at 5am tomorrow morning I will be there to the end of that song I know, and my ass will be in traffic crying in downtown Detroit going, oh, my God, get up in the morning. It was worth it, though. And then our boss is trying to get us to go drinking after the show tomorrow. No. The boss, I said, you should be worried about us showing up for work tomorrow morning. She's like, just one drink. Come here.

00:09:24 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 1:

Colleen in the hallway yesterday as we were all kind of like hanging out. And it's been so much fun to have EJ and the Joe show and everybody in town. And so we were hanging out in the hallway. And Colleen's like saying to Spike and Mike and myself and whoever else is hanging out there. She's like, what do you guys got planned after the show? Let's all go out drinking.

00:09:42 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 2:

After the show?

00:09:43 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 1:

It's a school night. Colleen.

00:09:46 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 2:

Not even like a Thursday where we could swing a Friday. Yeah. It's a Tuesday.

00:09:51 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

You guys didn't already say yes? Well, and also the other thing, you know, is that the station god.

00:10:00 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 4:

hotel rooms for those that are out of towners. So for the Joe show and EJ, Mike and Megan, that you guys have hotel rooms and we're all thinking maybe we should crash at your hotel rooms. No, no, it's not going to happen.

00:10:15 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 2:

I love you. No, no, no, no. You know how you're not allowed to come to my house. You're also not allowed to come to my hotel. Cause it's actually in a worse state than my house.

00:10:23 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 4:

That's right. You checked in last night. I forgot about that.

00:10:26 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 2:

I did. And my poor bathroom right now looks like a bomb went off because there's just crap everywhere right now.

00:10:33 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 4:

We'll have to talk about that later this morning because Megan was telling me some shady stuff that she thinks with that hotel room. So we'll get into that. It's funny. The Joe show is really upset because Joe, Jed, and Ashley, there's three of them. They have three rooms. Jed and Ashley are on a higher floor right next to each other. And Joe is like on like the fourth floor. And he has this Maybe it's growing up as my son He has this FOMO Where he's missing out on a better room Because the better rooms he thinks Are the higher floor rooms And I'm thinking to myself That doesn't matter

00:11:08 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 3:

I heard him complain about that I'm like really?

00:11:11 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 4:

He made a comment He made a comment that he said I don't have as great a view as Jed does How is it that Jed has such a great view And I don't have a great view And I said to him, I go, who goes to a hotel room and wants a view? What do you need to see? Yeah. I always look at that as like if I'm on a lower floor, and Spike, I heard you say this to him yesterday, the fire ladder can reach us if the thing goes.

00:11:41 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 3:

I told him if there's a hotel fire, the fire truck ladders only go to the fourth floor. So the guys on the sixth floor, they're out of luck.

00:11:46 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Reese is filling in for KP because she overslept this morning. And he's the worst phone screener ever The phones are ringing and he's on his phone Now they're not ringing anymore The phones have been ringing What are you doing in there? They were just ringing What you can do is call us up right now And let's see if Reese answers any of these phones He can't hear me? He's been texting me

00:12:11 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 1:

The phones were ringing He's lost in there Thank you

00:12:18 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 4:

844-MOJO-LIFE, 844-665-6548. Oh, speaking of that, speaking of that, is KP late today because KP was hanging out with Jed yesterday?

00:12:38 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I thought you were going to say, is KP late because she gets sent by Starbucks for every week.

00:12:42 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 3:

But she didn't say where she was calling from. Yeah. Oh, Spike, thank you for going in there.

00:12:47 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 4:

Hold on a second. Wait a second. Mojo in the morning. Hello. Good morning. Hi. Reese is not picking up the calls. I'm going to pick up the calls. What's happening?

00:12:55 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 2:

I know. That's a travesty.

00:12:58 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 4:

So, Wedi, are you coming to Jingle Ball tonight?

00:13:01 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm not. I have to work at 6.30 in the morning.

00:13:04 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 4:

I got to work at 5 in the morning. Yeah, wait a second.

00:13:06 - 00:13:08 | Speaker 2:

That's an excuse. This is part of your job.

00:13:09 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 4:

No, come on. This isn't part of my job. This is part of the fun. This is part of the holidays.

00:13:13 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 3:

We were just telling people you were cool here in the office. You're not cool anymore.

00:13:16 - 00:13:18 | Speaker 1:

Okay, if you want to give me tickets, I'll come.

00:13:18 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 3:

Really? No. You sound like, no, you're not coming. I know you. You say, oh, I'll be there, and then you don't come.

00:13:23 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 2:

I think we should. I think we should, too. Really? She's got a great personality. Do you have somebody you could bring?

00:13:28 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 4:

If you promise you're going to use these, if you don't use these, I'm going to be really upset.

00:13:32 - 00:13:37 | Speaker 3:

No, because her first line wasn't, I don't have tickets, I want to go. I just don't have tickets. Her line was, I ain't going to get up early.

00:13:38 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. She sounds like she'd be fun.

00:13:39 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 1:

No, we asked you. Says the guy. Give her tickets.

00:13:42 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 4:

I like her. You win. That says it's you guys who want to leave before Backstreet Boys are done. That's true.

00:13:48 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 3:

Take her name in. I want to look in her seats and see her seat numbers and see if she's there tonight.

00:13:52 - 00:14:19 | Speaker 4:

Hold on one second, okay? We're going to get you a pair of tickets. All right? That's it, though. Don't anybody else be schmoozing. Don't be doing that. Yesterday, we were talking about the boob press. Don't be boob pressing me to try to get something. Hi, Mojo in the morning. Reese is the worst phone screener in the world. He's still not answering the calls. He's trying to figure out how the headset works. Hi. Hello. Oh, God. All right, next one. Mojo in the morning, hello.

00:14:20 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 2:

Hello. You probably didn't answer the phone. I just called, and then it went to voice.

00:14:24 - 00:14:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it went to voicemail? It's probably Reese. Yeah. How do we have voicemail on there? We don't have to. It's Mojo in the morning.

00:14:32 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 1:

Hang up the phone, motherfucker.

00:14:34 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 4:

That's craziness. So, wait a second. Reese is letting the phones ring so much that it goes to a voicemail?

00:14:41 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's Mojo in the morning. Mojo in the Morning is not here right now

00:14:46 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 4:

Leave your message after the tone

00:14:48 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 3:

The text messages They have a good point We should call and see if Jed also overslept Oh my god, that's a great one Because then we know where KP was

00:14:58 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

I saw your son this morning I didn't see

00:15:00 - 00:15:01 | Speaker 1:

No, no more tickets.

00:15:03 - 00:15:08 | Speaker 6:

We have some later this morning. 7.30 and 8.30. Okay?

00:15:09 - 00:15:11 | Speaker 4:

All right, I'll call back. Thank you, buddy.

00:15:11 - 00:15:47 | Speaker 6:

We appreciate that. All right, take care of yourself. There are like three studios down from us, but let me just call and just see if my son picks up the phone and see if Jed did arrive today. When I called KP, it went to voicemail, and then she called me right back and goes, Sorry, I just woke up So I'm wondering I would die if they were together Now here's the pressure Oh, they're probably on the air doing their show So now here's the pressure for her Day number two of being in the same building with Jed Does she shower or do something to kind of make herself look pretty?

00:15:47 - 00:15:59 | Speaker 7:

No, I think she runs right in and puts a hat on Because she's going to look bombshell tonight So she knows that in her head She can show him how she gets all dressed up

00:15:59 - 00:16:42 | Speaker 6:

tonight. I was going to say that she should buy us Starbucks. But here's Joe. The problem is Joe. Hey, I got a live read in like 30 seconds. Real quick. Did Jed show up today? Because KP didn't show up this morning. Shut up. No. Is Jed there? Hold on. I'm going to be in there in just a second. Jed, by the way, was late coming down and blamed it on Valet. I love that he says love you at the end of every call, by the way. I really do. And then if you don't say love you back and hang up, he calls you back.

00:16:42 - 00:16:43 | Speaker 7:

I do the same thing.

00:16:43 - 00:16:50 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so I was going to say KP can go to Starbucks, but we don't want her to because I get then put up with Reese on the phones.

00:16:52 - 00:17:14 | Speaker 3:
