Oh my, are you talking about Wes? Yeah. Where has he been?

I don't know if other people in relationships are like this, but Wes left for a business trip on Monday, I had to think for a second.

He's been gone the whole week, huh?

He's been gone the whole week. Yeah. And he's coming back late, late tonight. He's supposed to come back late tonight. And I knew what state he was going to. He's in California. And I knew that he was going to be taking part in some sort of like conference, automotive related, because he works in the automotive engineering space. And he was going to be playing golf. But my girlfriend, Lindsay, was like, where is he? And I said, oh, he's in California. And she's like, no, like, where? California's my favorite state. Where? And I thought, I don't even know. I don't know.

You don't know what state, or you don't know what part of the state he is in?

No, I knew California. California, too. I bet he told me, or maybe I didn't ask. I don't know. But I truly did not know where specifically he was and what he was doing other than like golfing. I knew who he was going with from work.

Do you all track each other on like the iPhone?

So that was what I had to do. I'm like, I feel like the worst wife in the world. And then it just comes up automatically when I like, if I text him, see, it's right there. So it says Huntington Beach. So I knew that's where I'm like, I had to look at his location to tell you exactly where he was.

Does he send you, like, his travel Delta flight stuff? Like, does he do that?

If he, he, sometimes he will, he will, but I didn't ask this time. I don't know.

That doesn't seem like a very thoughtful wife. What happens if there's an earthquake in the city of California?

I would hope that he would mark himself safe on Facebook.

No, I don't know.

He would call me.

No, but would you, no, I know, but would you know what part of, like, if it said there's a, there's Modesto, California has an earthquake, would you go?

I would text him and say, hey, are you near Modesto? Really?

You wouldn't be like, like, I would instantly start freaking out if it's the whole state that's like the biggest state in the, in the country.

I do feel kind of bad because, and you used to make fun of us incessantly for this, and this was way more him than me. but when we first started dating when one of us would go out of town we would send stuff to the hotel room remember this and you just roasted him

but you can tell your relationship by the way is comfortable now

you're so comfortable you don't even know where the hell he is I thought about that when my friend asked me where exactly is he and I had to look at his location I'm like I don't even know what hotel he's in I didn't send him anything

that's actually a good thing though I'm going to tell you this because the couples that are like way overly affectionate where they do things like you guys did in the beginning or the couples that don't trust each other, that's when they start getting all crazy. Like, I'm tracking him. I want to know where he's at. You know? That's good. That's good. You guys are in a good place. California is also one of those states where you say, I'm just going to California. You're going to California?

I see palm trees when he FaceTimes me. It doesn't sound like one of those.

Plus, if you're going to Huntington Beach, you probably would say, I'm going to LA, right? Isn't that the closest city probably?

I knew he was flying into L.A., right?

Yeah. Like, you would never probably, you'd probably not say, you know, hey, I'm going to Huntington Beach, which is in, you know, such and such county or whatever. Hall of Tito. Which is funny.

So now I clicked into his location and I can tell he's running.

Hi, my husband travels a lot for work, and I never, never pay attention to where he is. He always sends me his travel, like his hotel information, but I never pay attention. And sometimes I don't even realize where he is until I check his location and I see what state he's in.

Wait, you don't even know what state he's in? Like, we're thinking Shannon's not being very good by not knowing what city he's in.

you don't even know what state he is in no i mean he tells me but i we have three kids two dogs it's hard to keep up so i just it's on a need to know basis so as long as he gets home safe it's

dream of californication lena what's up lena hi hi you guys good morning good morning what's going on um so i was calling because my husband used to work on oryx and and he would go to like different countries um and i wouldn't know like what city he was in oh my god like oil rigs like

like we're talking i've seen those in louisiana like out you know on the coast and stuff they have to live on those things don't they they don't like yes do they sleep in those oil rigs and stuff

yeah so they have ships and so it's kind of like they have like quarters at the bottom kind of like um how um cool lines are and so yeah they would he would go and work for like he'll work

like four weeks on three weeks off that's see that i could not do wow you know be in a relationship with somebody like that like or miners the people that go in coal mines and stuff like that a minor or strippers i just have those are like the top three yeah or where would you could you imagine being married to somebody that is an undercover like agent or police officer and they won't tell you where they're going or what they do because they can't give up their yeah like that would be

hard to do you think it was cheating on you well you would think i went to school with somebody who married who married a guy that does that and she she never knows where he is but you'd all ever

you would also honestly even aside from the cheating part would definitely be probably one But you would be worried any time that there was a story about a shooting or an officer-involved situation? Like, that would freak me out all the time.

I'd be freaked out if I was dating a flight attendant. You know, so many planes falling, you know what I mean? Like, you hear all these stories.

Well, there's definitely risk, right? Or how about somebody that works, you know, in a hospital or something like that? There's craziness that happens at hospitals we saw a couple weeks ago. All right. Well, thank you for the call. We appreciate you. I'm going to date a librarian, you know? Nothing happens at the library. Do they have librarians still?

Yes. Do they have libraries still? Yes. They're probably AI. I'm at the library every week. Oh, okay.
