Ciao. hey real quick teachers before you go anywhere if you're a teacher listen because i need your help with something okay um i don't want you to go uh go anywhere because i need your participation on something here it's mojo in the morning got a lot of uh teachers we got a lot of parents getting ready for school so i wanted to tell this story and i want to know if you have a story that relates to it to call us up 844-665-6548 844 mojo live so do you guys you know when you binge watch television you you know and you're watching a show especially a show that might be a little bit too much for like young kids do you do it before uh you know like you do it like when the kids go to bed is that kind of your time and have you ever by the way just tried to put your kids to bed like really early like i i can remember like sneaking the clocks to make the kids go to bed at like seven o'clock at night because i wanted to you know get to the watching the show So friends of ours have two really young, cute kids, and they are, to me, the highest energy children I've ever seen, especially our little Danny. Well, these friends of ours are great parents, and they put their kids to bed so that they could lay in bed and, no, not do what you think, watch White Lotus. That's all they wanted to do was binge watch White Lotus. I get it. Yeah, it's the best, by the way, right? Did you finally get through the whole thing?

Yes, yes.

I was disappointed at the ending. I know that you loved it.

I thought it was so good. It was unexpected, and that's what I love.

So they're laying in bed, and they're watching White Lotus. And they're probably about three episodes in to the show that evening. when they heard a, like, little noise, like a shocking noise. And they get up and, like, what the heck is that? And look, and Danny is laying on the floor in front of the television watching with them.

Oh, no.

He had been on the floor watching for a very long period of time.

That is impressive.

It's amazing, isn't it?

Honestly.

Give Danny applause on the fact that he was quiet.

But that show, especially season two, not appropriate.

So, yes. And Danny's mom was not happy. Danny, you got to go to bed. Well, Danny had a ton of questions to ask about White Lotus. And so Danny's mom, especially the season, and I won't give out what exactly happened, but in season two, there's a scene where there's a lot of people that end up getting shot. Okay? That's all I'm going to say. I don't give the actual who the people are, right? But that's going to give you... Did I give out too much information?

That was kind of a lot.

Okay. Well, let me just say this to you. Danny asked the question, why did they shoot all those people?

Oh, gosh.

He's going to go to school and talk all about it to his teachers And his mom is like the sweetest lady ever And she's got a real sweet voice She goes, well Danny She didn't know them all Or something like that Like she didn't know what to say And then puts him to bed Well Danny goes to school the next day And tells his teacher everything that happened So guess who got a phone call from the teacher Danny's mom Got a phone call from Danny's teacher at his school and the craziest thing of this is that she now shares with Chelsea like Chelsea is kind of like her I call it like it's your mentor parent because you know like we've had our kids years ago and it's kind of like when you have kids and they're younger kids and you have an experience like that you don't know what to do usually what you do is you call somebody that has experienced that before and said what do I do is the teacher now think I'm you know this horrible parent whatever and Chelsea's like ah it's okay don't worry about it You should have heard what happened when we were, when our kids, you know what I mean? Like, go through the whole thing. Balls. Yeah, right, balls, exactly, right. So I want to ask this question just to make them feel better, okay, to make mom and dad feel better about this. Teachers, call us up, or parents, you can call us up, too, and tell us, what did your kids go to school and tell the class about the next day that probably is something that they shouldn't have said? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. You know what you should put on? You should have motion detecting in your house. I can only imagine that there are some parents that have probably been caught baking cookies by their kids. Don't you think?

hi good morning so um we had a small tv in our kitchen and a little love seat and so my son curled up one night after his snack and his pjs and watched a movie and he fell asleep so the next morning he went to school and told the teacher i slept in the kitchen last night she's thinking did you not eat your broccoli like did you sleep with your head on the table what happened so she didn't call me but at parent teachers conferences she says now does he sleep in the kitchen a lot i'm like oh my god she told them that's so funny what's going on sydney how

i did yeah so growing up in preschool we listened to musicals that was the go-to okay so in miss again, there's a line that goes, I'm surrounded by losers and whores.

or call you um she kind of called and was like so this is what your child said and i was of course she did because why would she you know not tell everybody that secret that's funny uh what's

happening shannon hi hi um so my daughter was about four years old doing red rhythm week and we got a phone call from the teacher because they were talking about smoking cigarettes and things like that and my daughter told her teacher and the guidance counselor and the officer that my husband and I do drugs because we um smoked so luckily we were um we had a good relationship

with the teacher and she called us and she's like i just want you to know what sydney claire had said and yeah oh wow oh well yeah we were doing how long ago was that um so my daughter's 10 and

she was probably six okay so so it was uh it was years ago that that this happened because it's interesting i wonder nowadays with marijuana being legal in michigan i wonder how many kids go to school and talk or smell like weed. Oh, I'm sure that's a big one. I still want to hear some teachers. I want to hear what's going on. Oh, we got a teacher right here. Abby, are you there?

They didn't cover that word in sesame street did they no i mean i know what dad does now so yeah speaking of that carla hi hi we're talking about when kids go to school and tell the school something that happened at home

and it's usually inappropriate what happened it was actually daycare and at the time when like horn was still on like actual physical dvd she took that to school and was showing it or to daycare and showing it to everybody at daycare. Oh my god. It was a little

show and tell, huh?

It was, and you can only imagine by the title when I walked into daycare to pick her up, and the lady said, well, can we have a talk? You know, we found this video, and then says the name, and I'm like,

oh my god. What was the name? I know. Can you say it? Black. Oh.

I'm pretty sure she wanted to laugh. She did make me feel like it's not really that big of a deal. But just so you should know, you might have some parents following you.

And do you remember when power first started up? and those sex scenes in that show was like ridiculously crazy yeah so on a monday morning one of the students he's coming in like yeah i watch power and guess what and they was in the window and blah blah blah blah and i'm standing there like what the hell oh all of the parents like um yeah you might not want to let your child watch power because he just came to school and told the whole sex scene. She didn't say nothing about who got killed. Everything was just all about the sex.

I wonder if it was the same situation as what happened to our friends where the kid just snuck in and they didn't know that the kid was watching or was the kid watching?

No, the mom, no, no. She wasn't surprised.

So when I first started teaching out, I'm young, not really sure, you know, what we're doing when we first start teaching. And right before conferences, this little boy comes in and he kept falling asleep. So I finally asked him, I'm like, buddy, why are you so tired? And he says, my mom and dad are up all night jumping on the bed and I just can't sleep.

Oh, my God.

Oh, no. So how do you bring that up at conferences? Did you bring it up at conferences?

Well, thankfully they didn't show up for conferences.

Well, yeah, you know what they were doing. The house was empty.

Yeah. We were preoccupied.
