for details. All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. Your home of the war of the roses, the dirty on the 30 and the second date update shannon wants to talk about smells do you guys i feel

00:02:28 - 00:02:37 | Speaker 8:

like if i said like the name of one of your childhood friends mojo like brad yager yeah you could instantly remember what his house smelled like when you went over there to play

00:02:37 - 00:02:44 | Speaker 6:

ragu it's my or it's not it's not like italian uh his mom used to make uh his mom used to make

00:02:44 - 00:02:58 | Speaker 8:

she called it gravy but it was a spaghetti sauce that and that smell yeah that was his house smell everybody's house has a smell am i right here or am i right here yeah you are so self-conscious

00:02:58 - 00:03:19 | Speaker 7:

about your apartment smell yes when my anybody i'm actually close with comes over the first thing i ask when they walk in the door is does it smell okay in here because i'm worried when i don't have somebody who i'm super close with if they come over like does it smell like i don't know what dog in here you know what i mean like always ask me that when i come over every time i just want

00:03:19 - 00:04:30 | Speaker 8:

to make sure it smells okay i spend way too much money on candles and specific like puras creating the smell in my house to make sure that it smells good and has a very specific smell and it's funny because sometimes like my friend ashley will come over to my house and then she'll go home she lives right down the street and her son nash will be like you were at miss shannon's house weren't you i can smell her and i love that but this i i thought about this topic because um my mom is still in the process of moving this is the longest process ever and so her new house doesn't have anything in it yet and so i i dropped off a bunch of stuff the day before yesterday and i had the kids with me it was their first time seeing the house and we walk in and smith's like it smells nasty in here and i said well it doesn't smell nasty it's just not a smell that you're used to because it still smells like the family that used to live there and so we ended up going to the mall and going to Bath and Body Works and buying wallflowers because my mom always has specific wallflowers plugged in. So we're hoping the house will smell more like her and more like home for her when she moves in. But it's a thing.

00:04:30 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 6:

Do you guys remember the neighbor whose house smelled like crap?

00:04:34 - 00:04:34 | Speaker 7:

Yes.

00:04:35 - 00:04:54 | Speaker 6:

Ours was the Kapanowski's. It smelled, it had like a constant fart smell in there. And I remember as kids, I would always have them come to our house instead of us going to their house because it always smelled so bad.

00:04:54 - 00:04:54 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

00:04:54 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

And I don't know what it was. It was like a crime. Do you ever get into somebody's car and their car smells like.

00:05:00 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 5:

It's scary, dog.

00:05:01 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 3:

Car, same thing. Oh, man. I can walk into somebody's house and tell right away if they have a cat. Yeah. I don't know what it is. There is this very distinct smell, and I can smell it. Yeah, I was going to say, it wasn't even a bad smell, but we had a neighbor's house that always smelled like cat litter. Not even dirty cat litter. Just cat litter. It's a smell. And it's like a clay, weird, dusty smell. And cat pee. And I grew up with cats. I love cats. But now, I didn't even smell like pee. It just, cat litter itself smells weird.

00:05:25 - 00:05:28 | Speaker 5:

I pray to God, y'all never come to my house.

00:05:28 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 3:

what is your house musk what's the scent

00:05:32 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 5:

I don't know when I say we used to do an amazing job of keeping those like little glade plugins that permeated a wonderful scent in our home but I don't think we've been keeping up with it like that and I don't know they call it nose blonde I'm not sure what it smell like because you get so used to it that it doesn't have a scent it's just everyday life

00:05:53 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 4:

does your house smell like boo boo because you got a baby

00:05:58 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 5:

No, I mean, when I take doodos, it depends on which bathroom I use. If I use our bathroom, I don't really smell it until I walk out of the bathroom and then I come back in. I'm like, oh, boy. And then I grab our eucalyptus spray and I hit it a couple times with that. So then it smells like poop and eucalyptus. Yeah, but you shut the door and cut the little air thing on and try to suck it out.

00:06:17 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 4:

Really? Does that air thing really suck it out? Yeah.

00:06:20 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 5:

If you use it long enough.

00:06:23 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 4:

When we moved into our house, we realized whoever built our house screwed up in that little air thing would suck it out of the bathroom and put it right into the bedroom. It would actually go somewhere.

00:06:34 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 5:

Short thing, that's how I feel about public restrooms that use the hand air dryer.

00:06:39 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:06:39 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 5:

I think it sucks it from the air that's in the bathroom and just puts it on your hands.

00:06:44 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 4:

All right, Mojo on the Morning Show. Question. You just got to throw us out there. If you had to rank the smells of people's homes that work on the show, whose house would be the best smelling and whose house would be the worst smelling house out of everybody here that's on the show?

00:07:03 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 5:

I know I'm coming here last. Come on.

00:07:05 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 3:

You don't even shower regularly.

00:07:07 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 5:

Listen, this week, I've shower every day.

00:07:10 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wow.

00:07:12 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 5:

You should have been a crowd.

00:07:14 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 4:

Way to go.

00:07:15 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 5:

A lot of you.

00:07:16 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. That is so good. What's up, Initial A? Hi, your voices, guys. You're going to call somebody out?

00:07:23 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. I know someone who actually lets their dogs and cats and basically all the animals just use the bathroom in their house and it doesn't get cleaned. Oh, no.

00:07:33 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 4:

Bathroom in their house? Like, not the bathroom, but, like, just go to the bathroom in their house. Yeah.

00:07:37 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, like pee and poop all in the house.

00:07:40 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 4:

Who's this person? Go ahead. Say who they are.

00:07:43 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:07:44 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 4:

No. Are they a relative? Are they a friend? What are they?

00:07:47 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 2:

A friend, yeah.

00:07:48 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 4:

They're a friend. Squatters. Yeah. Whose house do you think smells the worst on our show?

00:07:54 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, gosh. I don't know. I have no idea. I feel like everyone's super clean.

00:08:02 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 4:

Pick somebody. Come on. There's got to be one that's got a smelly house.

00:08:10 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 2:

Just because you're asking, I'll say you, Mojo. Thank you.

00:08:13 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 4:

All right. Thank you. Mojo's house actually always smells really good Thank God for Chelsea, exactly You know what the worst smell is To me? A dirty Sponge Did you say that?

00:08:28 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 3:

You know what it is?

00:08:30 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 4:

Keely, what's going on? Keely, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning

00:08:34 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, what's happening? It's going I'm actually going into work right now So I actually used to hang out with a friend of mine When we were kids And it didn't hit me until I was an adult, or actually, it didn't hit me until I moved to Michigan when it was legal. But apparently, her parents were chronic pot smokers. And it didn't, I guess, every time I would go over there, it kind of hit me like a rock. And it smelled like, it smelled like stunk all the time. And it never dawned on me until I moved here in Michigan and I smelled it. And I'm like, is that weed? And my mom goes, yeah, that's weed. I'm like, oh, I guess I think one of my friends and her parents used to smoke weed.

00:09:17 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 4:

Isn't it funny? It always does smell like skunk.

00:09:20 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 3:

But I love that smell. You do? Oh, I hate it. Oh, patchouli's and all those sorts of, like, woodsy, earthy, like, herbals. I love the smell of weed.

00:09:30 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 4:

Man, I'll tell you what. You can hang out with all the misfits then.

00:09:35 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 5:

Rambo.

00:09:36 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 4:

Rambo, by the way, I told Lydia, I said, if Rambo's coming to the rooftop party, he's got to not be as baked as he was at the last party. Why not?

00:09:45 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 3:

Is he common?

00:09:45 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 4:

He hugged my ass, and I smelled like that forever. And this is the Godfrey, and we were just at that Cambria. And you know what? I don't want them to think that that's what our listeners all just smell like.

00:09:56 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 3:

Here's the good thing. It's a rooftop.

00:09:58 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 4:

I know.

00:09:58 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 3:

So we're outside, so it's going to be.

00:10:00 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 6:

But much more airy.

00:10:01 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 2:

We could have been on Millennium Force at Cedar Point. I would have smelled him still. Hot box. What's going on? How you doing, Kirsten?

00:10:11 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

00:10:11 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up?

00:10:13 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I texted in because I had a childhood friend, which I'm first time caller for a long time. Hey, there you are. Kirsten's on the phone.

00:10:22 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for calling.

00:10:24 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, thank you. But I had a friend growing up, even when I was really little, who had ferrets at her house, and the smell was so pungent, and it was horrible. And even as a five, six-year-old, I hated going to her house because it smelled so bad. Ferrets. Oh, yeah.

00:10:39 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 2:

Ferrets and rabbits. Do you ever have a friend that had a rabbit?

00:10:43 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 6:

There's a smell. You can smell it. And I love ferrets. I love them so much, and I won't get one because of how they smell.

00:10:49 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 2:

Who says this?

00:10:51 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 6:

They're so funny. I know. Have you ever hung out with a ferret? I grew up with a girl who had three fairies in her house. They're, like, really fun. I bet her house was terrible. It did, and that's why I won't get one.

00:11:04 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 2:

Literally, I've never had anybody else. I was hanging out with one the other day. It was amazing. I thought he was a good friend. Me and the store, we were chilling, kicking back, relaxing. Nikki, Nikki, what's up?

00:11:14 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 4:

Morning, how are you guys? Good morning. Good morning.

00:11:16 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

00:11:18 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 4:

Well, the smell I can't see in walking into a house is poker, because people don't realize how bad it really smells. Yeah.

00:11:26 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:11:27 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 4:

But I think Shannon's house has probably the best known house.

00:11:32 - 00:11:33 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:11:33 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, thank you. No. Yes. No. And I think heaven's is probably the worst just because that's enough of a personal that we're all speaking about as a person, but, you know, your sour habit.

00:11:46 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Thanks, Nikki.

00:11:48 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 4:

Nikki, Nikki.

00:11:49 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 6:

It's Shannon's house smells the best. It's because of my candles that she steals when she comes over.

00:11:57 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 2:

It's true. It is true. Hold on. Look at this. Rambo's on the phone. What's up? What's going on, Rambo? Smokey, Debbie, Debbie. Rolling, too big. What's going on, y'all?

00:12:11 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 6:

Man, you haven't had anything yet today.

00:12:13 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 2:

Rambo, I don't know if I can get you an invite to the rooftop party if you smell the way that you did at our hotel hookup party.

00:12:21 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 1:

Well, we're going to be outside. You ain't going to know who's smelling it.

00:12:24 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 2:

No, no. I could smell you a mile away, my friend. Rambo, just do me a favor, will you? I don't mind if you get high, but can you do edibles that day?

00:12:34 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 1:

I don't think you want me to do an edible. I'm going to be able to feel my face, my hands.

00:12:39 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 2:

Really? Wait, so edibles make you crazy?

00:12:43 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's a little bit different. You swallowing THC than whatever, just smoking it.

00:12:49 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 6:

How much are you taking when you're taking an edible?

00:12:51 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 1:

Just some gummies, I guess, but it's too much. I get stuck, and I'll be in the same spot in about 15 minutes and don't know why I'm there.

00:13:02 - 00:13:43 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Listen, I will say this about you. I love you. You're very fun. You're a great-looking guy, but you smell like the worst skunk I have ever smelled in my life. It's not a skunk. It's weed. I know, but it smells like a worst skunk. Oh, God. Jeez. And the last time you hugged me, my wife made me take off my clothes in the garage. The last time I had that happen to me, I was at Churchill's smoking cigars. And I love it. No, I love you. We'll figure it out. We'll figure it out. We're going to have you propel off the side of the building because I don't want to get the elevator all smelly. Hold on one second. Hold on one second. Put them into the party if you want to, Lydia.

00:13:44 - 00:13:45 | Unknown:

Don't.

00:13:47 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 2:

Justin, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. What's up?

00:13:51 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 3:

Hi, it's Justin.

00:13:52 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Justin.

00:13:54 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 3:

No kidding. Hey, first time in a long time. Hey. Yes. Thanks, Justin. Justin's on the phone. It's Justin, everybody.

00:13:59 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 2:

What's going on? What are you calling for?

00:14:01 - 00:14:16 | Speaker 3:

So, I think Lydia's house would smell the best because she still lives with her mom. I feel like they have really good home cooking. Okay. But the worst would be Megan. Unfortunately, the patchouli smells just not good. I would have thought that originally, too. Okay. That is a love-hate smell. What's that?

00:14:17 - 00:14:35 | Speaker 6:

That's fair. That's fair. But I'm not promoted, but I'm going to tell you what I use. Boy Smells has a line of Kush candles. Kush? Really, really, really good. And I will also tell you, because a lot of people are asking in the text, Yankee has those wood wicks. Humidor. Humidor. Rambo. Humidor is the only one.

00:14:35 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 2:

It sounds random, but it smells so good. Megan has a Kush candle. Do you have a Kush candle at home? I have multiple Kush candles.

00:14:41 - 00:14:43 | Speaker 1:

No, she's making me jealous, man.

00:14:44 - 00:14:45 | Speaker 5:

Cashmere Kush is Lego, too.

00:14:46 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 2:

You can't smoke it, though.

00:14:47 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 1:

I had an air freshener scent for the car. It smelled like weed, but I just thought I was dreaming. They don't eat those type of things.

00:14:54 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Bree wants to defend Rambo. What's up, Bree?

00:14:59 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

00:15:00 - 00:15:10 | Speaker 6:

Um, I smoke a lot of weed. I have four kids, so it's the only way I can manage life. Um, there is nothing wrong with the smell of it. I mean...

00:15:10 - 00:15:12 | Speaker 7:

You have not smelled Rambo.

00:15:12 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 6:

I'm a second. It smells good. It smells so good, right? Exactly. I mean, and on top of it, though, um, what's wrong with the smellers, or smellers? See, she's high.

00:15:24 - 00:15:36 | Speaker 7:

She's so high. You're high right now. Exactly, yep. I know you are. She needs a good night out. She's going to come to the gaffery. Wait, hold on a second. Hold on. Stephanie is with us right now. Stephanie, what did you smell?

00:15:38 - 00:15:48 | Speaker 9:

So I used to work for a detox rehab facility, and I had to go pick up a client for detox, and the house smelled like meth.

00:15:48 - 00:15:58 | Speaker 8:

Meth? Meth. I wouldn't even know what that smells like. What is it smelling? Right, what is that? Smells like really bad, like almost like cat urine, ammonia,

00:15:58 - 00:15:59 | Speaker 9:

mixed with like an acetone.

00:16:00 - 00:16:08 | Speaker 7:

I never understood why people do meth. It just, oh, and especially if it starts off smelling that way.

00:16:09 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 8:

How do you know what meth smells like? I live in the meth capital of America.

00:16:11 - 00:16:12 | Speaker 1:

You're just cooking meth.

00:16:13 - 00:16:16 | Speaker 8:

No, she works at a detox. Yeah, so she has to pick up her clients.

00:16:16 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 7:

She had to pick up some guy that was a meth guy.

00:16:20 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, it was a meth. It's like a brick wall. Wow.

00:16:25 - 00:16:29 | Speaker 1:

Do you smell worse than Kevin Fark? Do you smell yesterday in a beach? Hey, look, look.

00:16:29 - 00:16:53 | Speaker 7:

Rambo Rambo Rambo. I'm glad you brought that up. Everyone be honest. Could you smell my farts? No Thank you. You could. Why would I put that throwin up emoji face on there. Cause they be trying to play me bro. They be trying to play me. Kevin's fart smells like frijitos or whatever. It's frijitos. It's like Twisted Tea today. Oh my god.

00:16:53 - 00:16:55 | Speaker 5:

Can we have Twisted Tea every day?

00:16:55 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 7:

I need another one. Let me have yours. You don't open yours yet. Mojo in the morning.
