It makes me, the way you said that makes me think of that song. Look, why the? You lying. Oh, my God. Quit lying. Lying. That's how I feel about this guy. I was talking to a guy. We were trying to set up a date, and I found out that he started lying to me about something that I find to be really uh weird just because it was so unimportant so he told me his age um but here's the thing I'm not going out with somebody until I stalk you online and I stalked him online and I found out he's actually five years older than the age that he told me and I thought what a weird thing to lie about like first of all we're both well I'm in my 30s he said he was in his 30s he's not wait did he like we how old how old is he then he's in his 40s which to me like early 40s is not a big deal like we're not that far apart in age like at the end of the day we are eight years apart that's not insane um but like why why lie about what else are you lying

about like what a weird foot to start everything off on and if you guys ever go get drinks together You could just grab his ID and do that. But what I'm saying is that's something to very easily get busted. That's a lie that is so easily busted.

And it's not like I'm 21 and you're 30 and that might be a big deal. Like it's our age difference isn't a big deal.

have been going on for a while or if they're recent because it is interesting the 40 thing where if your guy is 40 years old maybe you think that a 30 something year old doesn't want to date you or or whatever younger that you want to make yourself 30 but i think actually nowadays it seems like the guys that are in their 40s or even older somehow are getting all these you know 20 and 30

year olds but i'm telling my tinder profile set from ranges 23 i think to 45 oh really you're you'd go that old i'm with all the smoke okay but my thing is if you're meeting this guy online i didn't meet him online oh i thought you said you did no it's just in person wow so he's okay

so that's the other thing too you can't verbalize your lie like you got like you do it if you do it you got to make it that it you check the wrong box or you put the number wrong number in there all right i don't i can i throw something out real quick meg can i throw out the uh what are why are you lying about your age whether you're lying younger or older and who are you lying to 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 did you know that when i first got into radio i lied about my age for about four or five years because i got in when i was 18 and i was trying to do bar gigs so when i worked at b96 in uh chicago when i was working with george and george mcfly and all those guys that were back there we would do club gigs all the time at different bars and i told them that i was 21 so that i could get into the bars and work and then finally when i turned 21 everybody was like you're 21 which can we i don't even know what the law is can you work can you be under 21 i did i worked at a bar under 21 for the radio station yeah yeah so sometimes

it does. Do you remember when I dated somebody that was lying about his age? Oh my God, Shannon, that was a big one. It was like right when I first moved here and he, he told me, so I was 25, I think at this time. And he told me he was 32 and it, I believed this for a couple of months until his friends were calling me to help plan his 40th birthday party. And I was like, wait, What are you talking about? And that's how I found out that he had lied about his age.

But I feel like this is the one lie. This and, like, if you have kids or not, you're going to get caught. For sure.

But it changed your opinion of him, Shannon.

Well, because, like we just said, that makes me go, what else are you lying about? Right. And why?

you lie about that maybe he's lying about a dog to make himself look like a softer gentler guy

you know what i mean like a dog guy possibly i don't know because then the next lie i caught him in he told me he had a degree and then come to find out he's like well i haven't graduated yet And I'm like, then you don't have a degree. Right.

He's just a manifester. He's going to manifest the degree. He's going to manifest the dog. It's all coming. Just take it.

What's the worst lie? The degree or the dog? Which one do you think? The dog. Really?

happened yeah it certainly could uh well first time long time guys so i back in my younger days i i did the dating app and uh i was 27 at the time and I started talking to a girl who said she was 25 and ended up having the day off from work. So we met up, went home, baked a little cookies. The next day, she friends me on Facebook only to find out that she's 19.

Oh, no. Thank God. She was right there at that mark.

You're lucky, buddy. I almost had a heart attack. You're lucky. That would have not been a good situation.

But what happens in that situation if you are lied to and somebody is underage? I don't know.

Well, you have to prove it because they're going to probably lie and say that they told them how old they were.

You know what I mean? Yeah.

You're absolutely right. One last one on this one. Amanda lied about her age and now has to celebrate multiple birthdays. Is that right, Amanda?

Yes. Okay, well, I have to start that. Anyone that knows me knows my real age, but I will celebrate my big dirty 30 until I can't pass as 30 anymore.
