All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. So we did a little shopping for our Wish families. We all have been doing this where we all go out and we will buy the gifts that we give to the families that we've, you know, been granting wishes for. And I was out with Chelsea the other day, and I got to tell you guys the funniest story. And here's what I want to do, because I think that this could lend itself to some funny phone calls. I want you to call up and tell us the customer service at its finest story. And what I mean by that, because it's obviously, you know, wink, wink, nudge, nudge, poke, poke. It's, I can't believe the person that worked at the store did this, okay? And here's what I'm going to ask you to do. Don't say the name of the store, because if you say the name of the store, it could get us in trouble. And then when we go into those stores after that, we never get helped. That's happened to me before. All right, so this is the one. So at a huge national box store that we went to, and you'll know which one I'm talking about when I tell you this, Chelsea and I walked in to go shopping for one of our families. And when we walked into the store, this place was a mess. I'm going to tell you this. Walking in, I mean, there was stuff all over the place. Like even from the moment that you walked in, it just looked like it hadn't been picked up in forever.

00:02:34 - 00:02:36 | Speaker 4:

I already have a guess on the store. I'm not going to say it. I think I know.

00:02:36 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 6:

I walked in to the main entrance and where there normally are a bunch of carts, there was none. It was actually empty, completely empty. So I walked up to one of the store associates and I said, hey, do you guys keep the cart somewhere else? And he says to me, and this is no spit, okay, on this one, he told me, they're all in the parking lot, and if you go back out there, can you bring some up to us? I swear. I swear. The guy, the guy legit, and I think he was one of the managers, because he was one of the guys that was kind of like, you know, wearing like a different colored vest than everybody else was wearing. That might give it away, too. Then, this experience happened. We were buying winter coats for this family, and it was very difficult to buy the mom a winter coat because it was kind of a struggle to find something that looked nice. We wanted to make sure we got her something nice, and we ended up having to leave the store and go somewhere else because they didn't have it. And I was looking for a specific size. So I walked up to another associate, completely different, a woman, and I said to her, hi, I'm looking for this size. Do you guys know if you have any of them around here Or in the back rooms And she goes your guess is as good as mine And then kept walking No joke This happened at the same exact store So then I look at Chelsea and I said We're going to Target I'll give them the plug for that one But I wanted to know from you guys If you have ever had A customer service situation Where you're like How do these people stay in business How is this person still keeping their job? Because I was blown away. And I know nowadays it's, like, difficult just to find people. So it's kind of like the person that's working kind of, like, you know, definitely has a little bit more of a leeway. They're definitely not going to get canned for asking me to go out in the parking lot and go grab their carts. But it was pretty crazy. Have you ever experienced that anywhere, like, going to a restaurant and had a waitress that you're just like, holy crap?

00:04:39 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well, I went to a coffee shop. I will not say the name. You could take a guess. And this was a while ago, but I had ordered something and I had ordered like a latte, like something with milk in it. And I got it and it very clearly was the wrong thing. And you hate to ask for.

00:05:00 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 6:

This is really not what I ordered This is what I ordered And the girl handed me literally a gallon of milk Over the counter And just said here you go And I'm like okay It's not the same You just add milk in Well okay that's fine I did And then handed it back to her

00:05:21 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 5:

Oh really you actually gave it back

00:05:22 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 6:

What else was I supposed to do

00:05:25 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 5:

You should have given her giving her, oh, thank you very much. I didn't know you guys were actually going to do this for me. My favorite is, you ever go into a store like in the mall at the end of the night on a Friday, Saturday night during the holiday shopping time and have you ever seen how crazy it is? Those poor people that work there have to pick up everything and refold everything?

00:05:48 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 6:

That was me. I worked in retail forever and ever.

00:05:50 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 2:

Some places have the rule where they're not allowed to start closing until after the last customer leaves at 9.02 or whatever. Others, we'll put the gate halfway down, turn the lights off, like all that stuff.

00:06:00 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 5:

I had a lady, I felt so bad for her. She was trying to, like, refold a whole bunch of polo shirts, and she's going and doing it. So she says, hey, can you hand me a few of those? Like, she's, like, asking me to hand her. And I started, like, all right, I'll help you fold the stuff. What's up, Jake? How you doing?

00:06:18 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 7:

Hey, good. Hi. I was cashing out at a box store, and my cashier was helping me. Then the cashier next to us says, hey, I got her on FaceTime. The cashier then leaves, and they start FaceTiming with someone somewhere else while I'm just sitting there waiting.

00:06:37 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 5:

They're having a little fun conversation with each other. I love that when you go and the person's talking, and you think that they're talking to you, and you realize that they're on their headset talking to somebody, a friend. What's up, John?

00:06:49 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 9:

Hey, what's going on, guys?

00:06:50 - 00:06:52 | Speaker 5:

How you doing? Customer service at its finest.

00:06:52 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 9:

We'll say location Went to a store And I was looking for some pop-up baskets My kids wrote for laundry I go to the worker at the register Hey, where do you guys have your pop-up baskets? They're like, oh He's like, hold on one second He's there doing a text And I waited for three minutes And I busted out laughing I said, hey Don Juan, finish up your text I go find the baskets myself

00:07:11 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 5:

Right So he's Do you know if he was like If he got the girl Or whoever he was He was trying to flirt with?

00:07:18 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 9:

Oh, no This guy was old enough I think he was banned From like four schoolyards

00:07:22 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 5:

in one church that's funny hey mojo in the morning hi hi customer service at its finest

00:07:32 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 8:

yeah i wanted to talk about that because i used to work at a walmart oh boy no names no names but

00:07:39 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 5:

go ahead what happened i won't i won't i won't yeah go ahead go ahead what happened

00:07:46 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 8:

well nothing happened but i can understand where uh where they were coming from about the jacket in the back thing yeah they when you have when somebody asks that you have to go through like there is no jacket in the back there's nothing in the back everything's out in the front right yes there is absolutely nothing in the back and if there is then you have to do like a bunch of paperwork but i have worked at walmart and there have been a lot of things i've seen

00:08:14 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 5:

there that i wish i had yeah i i will tell you this that uh i get it and they looked like they were definitely understaffed um and that they were struggling because of that but the cart thing caught me off guard because i almost turned around and went back to the lot to go get the carts like like i'm like oh i think he really does need help he's he's trying to see what i can do for him uh what's going on uh i lost that one that one by the way that that's interesting one, a person, a person who worked at a smoothie shop who said the person behind the counter was so busy, asked them to come back behind and make the smoothie themselves.

00:08:51 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I would, too. When you want a smoothie, you want a smoothie. I've never used a Vitamix before.

00:08:58 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 4:
