Don't even, don't even start with me. It's Mojo in the morning show. I all of a sudden I saw KP and Lydia walk in, two of our producers here, our producers of the show here, and they walk in, and they have this look on their face and then they sit down right in front of microphones and I'm thinking, why are they walking in here right now? And I know exactly why they're walking in here.

00:02:32 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 7:

Is this an intervention?

00:02:34 - 00:03:19 | Speaker 6:

You know, it could be. It is. Spike, let me say this to you. You were so lucky you drove yourself yesterday. So we all went to go and see the new station, the new radio station. Spike, myself, KP, and Lydia were moving to Eastern Market sometime like before 2025 they say and spike you drove you went ahead because you had something to go to downtown yes and so i uh offered to drive uh the uh the the producers and all they did the whole time was complain about my driving actually i'm sorry kp complained about my driving lydia is virtually complain-less.

00:03:19 - 00:03:21 | Speaker 8:

Right, Lydia? Yeah, I would say so.

00:03:22 - 00:03:23 | Speaker 7:

You just silently lived in terror

00:03:23 - 00:03:27 | Speaker 8:

in the backseat? With sweaty palms, I'll tell you that much.

00:03:27 - 00:03:41 | Speaker 7:

The two of you are new enough to this environment that you haven't realized yet, that when we have to go somewhere, you tell Mojo, I'm going to drive separate because I have another thing downtown. I didn't have anything downtown. I just was not getting in Mojo's car.

00:03:41 - 00:04:00 | Speaker 8:

I felt like I needed to cross the seatbelt the other direction. Yeah, like on an airplane. where they give the flight attendants like the harness. I felt like I was on the top thrill dragster trying to go upside down or something. It was the fact that KP said, she didn't say she was car sick. She said, I feel like I'm getting seasick.

00:04:04 - 00:04:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, yeah.

00:04:06 - 00:04:21 | Speaker 8:

I felt like we had 800 people on Mojo's request line. Every time he got done with one phone call, somebody else would be calling. And I think we got through three or four different people calling him at the same time. I was just on the way there.

00:04:21 - 00:04:31 | Speaker 6:

These guys got to talk to a lot of people. Actually, it was kind of fun. They talked to Christine Briggs, Pat Kuda, Jay Towers, and Ann Pat.

00:04:31 - 00:04:36 | Speaker 8:

And Joe. And Joe. And Tony. Oh, my God. It was fun. And Tony.

00:04:36 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 7:

The only person you didn't talk to is an attorney that can quickly draft up a will for you after being in the car.

00:04:41 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 8:

We passed Joe Manna, and I'm like, help.

00:04:44 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so let me just explain something. For years, these guys have always complained that I'm a bad driver, all right? But I'm going to ask you if this is bad driving. So we were driving the luge all the way downtown, and as we were driving down...

00:05:00 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 1:

There's no traffic. It was middays. Believe it or not, Thursday, there was no traffic around. So we're driving, and I don't like to just stay in a lane. I like to explore all the lanes. So I am that old man driver that sits there and goes, You are the driver that I say,

00:05:20 - 00:05:23 | Speaker 3:

Pick a lane, any lane, when I'm behind you.

00:05:23 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 1:

But there was nobody by me. There was nobody around at all. And these guys were complaining about that. But actually, again, KP, Lydia, you are going to not go. I'm not going to bring you in on this whole thing. Did she ask you to come in the studio here for this?

00:05:39 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 4:

She did.

00:05:40 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 1:

This is her topic.

00:05:41 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 5:

She sent this topic. I did not send this at night. Actually, you know what? Maybe I might have mentioned one thing in my topic. But Lydia sent an actual paragraph topic about Mojo's driving.

00:05:51 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 1:

So technically, Lydia is complaining. It says both KP and Mojo had client calls. Oh, so she was complaining that you and I were on the client calls.

00:06:00 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 5:

No, that was not the complaint. We were both talking at the same time. Mojo was on a client call in the front, and I was on a client call in the back.

00:06:06 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 1:

It says here, it says that Lydia was playing Candy Crush, not really paying attention to the road while Mojo drove. He asked me how his driving was, and I didn't think anything of it until KP mentioned that she was starting to feel a little carsick. My palms got so sweaty when we were headed on the 75 South ramp. I went a little too fast on that

00:06:29 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 4:

No he looked like he was about to head north And then he goes south And I'm like oh no Because you know what

00:06:34 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 1:

I played basketball and I was really good at the no look pass

00:06:37 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 2:

But you don't want to go south

00:06:39 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 1:

No we ended up Yes I wanted to go south Because I was going on the lodge to 75 And going I think it was

00:06:46 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 2:

Was it south or north

00:06:49 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 1:

Maybe vice versa I don't know

00:06:50 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 2:

Listen Mojo was playing Candy Crush too while he was driving That's what it looked like

00:06:54 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 3:

You know what you need almost in your car You need to hand out those necklaces To everybody like the old ladies Have on the commercial if they fall in And they can't get up If they need help they can push a button And it immediately calls somebody for help

00:07:09 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 1:

Wait wait let me finish with this paragraph Because it gets good for me Rest assured I'd still allow Mojo To be my Uber if needed I just can't play Candy Crush If so why because you get sick when you're playing

00:07:21 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 4:

I have to watch what you're doing Because when we were on the way back We were stopped at this turnaround Now, when someone tells me that they don't like something I'm doing, and then I have to correct someone else on that, I feel so awkward. But we were on the way back, and there was a green light, and he was trying to get Joe on the line. And I didn't have the heart to tell him at first that the light was green, but it was probably about 30 seconds. And I was like, Mojo, the light's green. And he's like, oh, no one's behind us anyway.

00:07:50 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 2:

I want you to be my Google review, because even when someone tries to kill Lydia, she's still like, I would let him drive me again.

00:07:55 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 1:

You know that, honestly, can I say this to you? She's just like her mother. Have you noticed that? Her mom is like that. Yeah. So kind. Your mom could, you know, find the good in a mass murderer, probably, couldn't she?

00:08:08 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 4:

Most definitely.

00:08:09 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. All right. Well, I'm going to say this. I am not just a bad driver. I'm a horrible driver because my wife won't even let me drive. I've talked about this before. She does not let me drive anywhere because of that same situation. And I don't know what has gotten into me because I used to think I was a pretty good driver. But maybe this is the case, and you guys tell me, and I might need to call up Mike over at Gordon Chevrolet. Do you think I need a smaller car? Like, do you think my car is too big for me? Like, I'm driving a Chevy Tahoe.

00:08:40 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 2:

I think you need a city bus.

00:08:42 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I think you need some public transportation pass or something like that.

00:08:45 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 1:

I don't know how those guys drive those, like, semis and stuff like that. Because they pay attention. So when I drive, like, a smaller car, like, if I drive Chelsea's, I actually drive, I think, better.

00:08:57 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 3:

Well, I think a lot of people do. Yes, everybody does.

00:09:01 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 1:

Chelsea actually at one point said to me, she goes, no, you cannot get a smaller car because you will be dead because you'll be running into, like, barriers or something like that. So 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Worse driver than me. Who is that person?

00:09:16 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 2:

By the way, Shannon, you missed the tour of the building. I just want to let you know there's no reason to rush to pack anything for the move

00:09:23 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 3:

it looks beautiful

00:09:25 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 2:

it will look beautiful you really have to squint and use your imagination

00:09:29 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 1:

can you post Spike can you post some on the mojo in the morning

00:09:32 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 2:

yeah well you can just close your eyes and you'll see our studio it's just as much done just an empty room

00:09:39 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 3:

it wasn't for piles of bricks

00:09:42 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

hold on let me dip the music down they did a chalk outline of where our studio is going to be it's like a dead person just laying right there there was a you know what's weird though is a chalk outline makes it look so small but i know it's going to look so much bigger than that because you you have no wall

00:10:00 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 5:

up or whatever but um they're saying that the projected move for us i thought they said september somebody said september and then one person said quite possibly could be the end of october and then they said but there is a must that we have to be out of this building by a year from now uh the end of january 2020 uh what year would that be for yeah so definitely within a year

00:10:25 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 1:

we might possibly, probably be in the new building.

00:10:29 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 5:

Listen, here's the deal. I'll get better driving by that time. I will figure out, because I'm going to have to do that drive. I actually realized, though. That's a long drive for you. Mike and Megan, this was the greatest. I realized it's so quick on and off the highway, though.

00:10:45 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 6:

Is it?

00:10:45 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. It's like right there. The highway is right there. You literally pull out of the parking lot, and you're on the highway. Same thing. You pull off. You're on there.

00:10:54 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 1:

Quick for you, because everybody saw you come, and they pulled over to the shoulder.

00:10:57 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 5:

Come on.

00:10:58 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 3:

I think it's going to be crazy that I'm going to live closer to that station than Mojo will.

00:11:02 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 5:

Isn't that true? Yeah. Yeah. Toledo will be closer than me living in West Bloomfield. What's up, Carolyn?

00:11:10 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 2:

Hi. How are you guys doing today?

00:11:11 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 5:

I'm doing okay, Carolyn. Please don't listen to these guys talking about my bad driving. I'm an excellent driver.

00:11:19 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 2:

I would say the same thing. I'm actually a driver, too, but I got my license, like, later in life when I was 28, and we were visiting family for Christmas, and that was that year with a snowstorm, and at that time, I was driving a small Civic Sport, and I don't know how to drive without the rear view camera, so the camera was covered up from the snow, so I was backing out of their driveway and backed into someone's car, and so I got out of the car, looked at their car, didn't see any damage, looked at my car, didn't see any damage. And the next day they called me and they're like, yeah, you know, you dented in front of their car.

00:11:55 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 5:

Oh, geez. And you had no clue that that happened.

00:11:58 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 2:

I had no clue at all.

00:12:00 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 5:

You know what? That is like an old person, like in Florida driving thing where they just run into things and then they find out later that they ran into a whole bunch of things. Yeah, you're how old, Carolyn?

00:12:12 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 2:

I was 28.

00:12:13 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 5:

She's 28 years old. Amazing.

00:12:15 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:12:16 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 5:

All right. Well, thank you for the call. As long as you don't run over people. That's the thing. You can hit things, you know, things are things. You can replace things. You just can't replace people, right?

00:12:26 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I don't remember that from driver's training. It is Ryan Seacrest here. There was a recent social media trend which consisted of flying on a plane with no music, no movies, no entertainment.
