mojo in the morning all right i have a question to ask of you and i want to know your thoughts on this and also i want to know if you have a personal experience with this okay so i don't have many enemies matter of fact i'd like to say that i don't have any enemies except for a couple and i and when i say enemies i don't like i don't wish ill will on anyone honestly like there's nobody that i think that has ever done me wrong like my wife if you asked my wife my wife would probably go oh yes and i guess she's very much she's italian so she's a little crazy a little crazy so i have a person that uh i no longer talk to uh and that we used to be very very very good friends uh and we had a falling out and then they started spreading rumors about me that were like really really bad rumors and then they started even talking crap about our show and people that are on the show okay was they saying crap about me be honest honestly no i don't think so okay all right for sure shannon for sure but i okay huh it's not you no because you're not it's a person i don't talk to anymore and i talk to you every single morning i wanted to fight too no and it's not no and it's not any of the co-hosts that i've had on you know that's not even funny either no because people will sit there and they'll assume and they'll say whoa it's spike you don't like spike i'm like no it's not the case i actually love spike um so let me finish my thought so i found out recently that a what i thought was really good friend of mine who knows everything that this person has done has been chummy with said enemy and even to a point that the person has actually, behind my back, been involved with them and even discussing me with them. What? But yet, I'm friends with them. That's not a friend. And I want to ask you guys a question. If you have a falling out with somebody or have somebody that did something bad to you, and then you find out that the person that you had a falling out with is friends with one of your very good friends shouldn't your very good friend either tell you that they're talking to them or stop hanging out with them like shouldn't shouldn't you i don't want and i don't want them to hate the person but i don't want them to hang with the person i've only had to deal with this for real for real in relationships yeah where you know the woman i

00:04:55 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 2:

was dating fell out with somebody and we stopped talking to them and i think it ultimately leave.

00:05:00 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 4:

like from my perspective it depends on the severity of the situation this sounds like something that was super severe it was very severe it was like legal severe oh well hell not now i will say it's hard for me to retain animosity or hate so if i see someone now i'm definitely not going to go up to the person and speak but if we happen to be you know right in front of each other i'll be cordial but i'm not diving deep into a conversation because i know who you are right i was going to

00:05:25 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 3:

say at the very bare minimum if that person wants to start like if that person is hanging out with the the enemy said enemy and that enemy starts talking crap that the friend has to be like hey listen I'm in the middle I'm still friends with him or her I don't want to be involved with this I value our friendship outside of that I'm not going to be brought into this at the minimum in this specific situation for you mojo i know that it has escalated to a point where it's like

00:05:56 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 5:

i kind of feel like you should just cut that person yeah cut the person that was my friend yeah the enemy well the enemy cut out of my head no well no i don't know oh yeah so then the friend

00:06:05 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 3:

cut the friend too cut the friend too because if you're gonna play these games in the middle then you you've chosen sides in a way that i can't trust you and what's the point in having a

00:06:14 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 5:

friendship if i can't trust you like i have had like i have had people that have been in divorces and they have gotten mad at chelsea and i for still being friends with their person that they divorced and again i say this shannon's not one of them yeah shannon has never never talked bad at all about about you know her ex and is is you know is fine with me having a relationship with if you know what I mean

00:06:42 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 3:

I always knew it

00:06:44 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 4:

I knew you loved him that way

00:06:47 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 5:

he smells wonderful Alex is a good guy he was a good guy but here's the thing I've had people that have said to me I really don't want you to be friends with them and I've said to them you guys were there was no bad situation other than you guys weren't getting along Why do you have to hold it out of me?

00:07:10 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 1:

And that is a very different situation, by the way. Because that's just like you had a problem with that person. There was a quote unquote falling out, like you said. I think that that's very different. I think that you can't tell somebody who to be friends with and who not to be friends with. But when it's a case like you're talking about here where there were lawyers involved and it was so bad. And it created such an upheaval in your life that that's when I go, you know what that did to me you know how much that broke me and to Megan's point I can't trust you as my friend then that you're going off and hanging out with this person and trying to keep it a secret that's it that's going to be hard for me to bring you back into my life and my circle

00:07:53 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 5:

as a friend Aaron what are your thoughts on this whole thing hello mojo good morning everybody

00:08:00 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

00:08:00 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 5:

Hi, Aaron.

00:08:02 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 2:

Mojo, you can't make people choose, but you got all like each side should keep each other's names out of their mouth.

00:08:11 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 5:

I know I can't make them choose, but if it got to a point where it was actually litigious.

00:08:17 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 1:

It hurts.

00:08:18 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 5:

I mean, you don't think that as a good friend, if you had a very good friend in your life that was talking to a person that literally required you to actually go and hire legal people. You don't think you'd be upset by that?

00:08:35 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I would totally be upset by that, especially if it involves the system. Then yes, that's a whole different point on it. Each person should keep the person that they're falling out with names out of their mouth. Agreed.

00:08:51 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 5:

Get your mother effing my... You sound like Will Smith.

00:08:55 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 3:

Get my wife's name out your mother effing my... But, Aaron, to the same point, I don't think Mojo's making that person choose. We just have to have Mojo choose whether or not he wants to keep that person close to him anymore. Because they've chosen to stay involved with the enemy.

00:09:15 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 2:

Yes, but you keep your enemies closer.

00:09:19 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 5:

No, not in this case. your wallet and megan you are absolutely right in the fact that that um i am i'm bad at this by the way like chelsea and i talk about this all the time i'm really bad because i'm like oh it's okay you know one of those things and this is one of those cases where i keep i think that that's the problem i think that this person is like oh he's not gonna mind yeah and i think that the problem

00:09:42 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 1:

is that i do mind and it hurts and you need to have you had a conversation with this person not

00:09:48 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 5:

Not yet, but I need to. I do need to. I always bring it to the air first and then get your counsel. Jen, what's going on?

00:09:57 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Okay, Mojo, I'm sorry, but did you say litigious?

00:10:00 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 9:

Man, that was pretty good. Should I get points for that one? That was actually pretty good.

00:10:03 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 6:

Oh, knowing your listener base, what does that mean? We don't know.

00:10:08 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 9:

You know, it means that you're of legal. I don't know. Litigation.

00:10:14 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 6:

That's the smartest thing I've ever heard anyone say about anything.

00:10:19 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 9:

I honestly, litigious, put it in a sentence. I already did.

00:10:24 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 6:

The root word of litigation.

00:10:26 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 9:

Jen, can I ask you a question, Jen?

00:10:29 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

00:10:30 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 9:

If Megan were to do me wrong, would you promise me?

00:10:36 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that just made me jump out of my chair. Jen, heard us say that word on the air.

00:10:41 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 9:

I loved it, though. It kind of turned me... By the way, she just heard litigious on the air.

00:10:47 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 4:

And then she said, Megan, like I've said that word on the air.

00:10:50 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 9:

Zach, you're going to have to bleep that one. Anybody that was listening on the app got a chance to hear a great word on the radio. So, Jen. And Jen's been on the air with us 8,000 times and says that.

00:11:00 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 6:

And by the way, wasn't me?

00:11:02 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 7:

Wasn't me?

00:11:03 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 9:

What's up, David?

00:11:05 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 7:

Hey, how we doing? I just wanted to say real quick, Mojo, that not everybody is meant to be a main character in your story. If this person is going to go behind your back and do that to you, some people just got to be cut out.

00:11:17 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 8:

I like that.

00:11:18 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 9:

That's, by the way, how is it that people have really good sayings sometimes? And I never think it's stuff like that.

00:11:23 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 5:

Because we see them on Instagram and Pinterest and TikTok.

00:11:25 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 9:

Oh, and then I saved him. Are we saying he robbed that one from somebody else? Where'd you get it from?

00:11:34 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 7:

Honestly, it's kind of how I look at everybody. I've had a lot of friends that I thought was close, and then, you know, a couple years go by.

00:11:40 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 8:

Yeah.

00:11:41 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 7:

No longer characters in my story. It's like, listen, I've got to protect my own piece.

00:11:45 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 8:

I like it. That was good, though. What's going on, Buck?

00:11:49 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 7:

I knew you were smart, but I didn't realize you had such a strong lexicon.

00:11:53 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 9:

Ooh. look at that look at this guy by the way i think i'm ready to be on jeopardy what do you think

00:12:02 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 7:
