Listen, like when sharing passwords, right, like sometimes you may have Peacock, I might have Hulu, we might need to share, right? There has to be rules when you share. I think one of the rules is, you know, depending on relationship, you might be able to make a profile if you are blood related or if you're super cool. One of the things you absolutely cannot do in my mind is purchase a movie without telling the account holder.

Yeah, if you're borrowing somebody's password and if it requires that you actually get an extra payment off of it, you cannot do that. Is that ground for termination? What happened? What are we talking about? What kind of service are we doing?

So a friend of mine, well, this is Apple TV. A friend of mine, we share movies. Like, okay, what's your movie list? What are you watching? What shows are you watching right now? She told me about a new movie on Apple called, like, Baron's Cove. She's like, oh, my friend loves it. I'm telling you, you got to watch it. I Google it because I want to see what it's about. And I noticed it's $5.99 on Apple TV. And I'm like, there's no way in hell I'm about to pay to watch this movie. She gets dead silent. I'm like, you still? She's like, hold on. She's pulling up her app. And she's looking. She's like, I know this. And she cusses. I know this. And bought this damn movie on mine. Whoever she's lending her password to told her about a movie that they bought on her account without telling her. For $6, too. For $6. That's never happening.

And she didn't notice the difference in price because you just got it auto-paid, right? Exactly. Yeah. Does this happen to any other listeners like where this has happened to you or you've lent somebody your whatever could be password to any of the streaming services or you even brought up something interesting this morning like Costco cards or Sam's Club cards?

I don't know what's in the water right now, but people I feel like so I got a got a friend that goes to Sam's Club. She allows her family to use her Sam's Club card or whatever. I got busted doing that.

You should not do that. It was horribly embarrassing. They're real strict at Costco now. Yeah. They don't do it. This was a few years ago before I had my own membership, but I used my sister-in-law at the Times membership, and they looked at it, and they were like, uh, this is not you. And I had already, they had already checked out all my stuff. It was so embarrassing. I had, they made me walk over to the membership desk, buy a membership, come back and pay for my stuff.

No way. So in this situation, her family members, like, I guess when you check out, you get cash back, and you can utilize that cash on whatever purchase you're having right now so you can take some money off. they're using that money without telling her they're not paying for their membership they're receiving all the benefits and using that cash back off their own order and she like no bro like i pay for the membership that 30 40 off your order that's mine you wouldn't have even been able to go

So I will get a random Venmo sent to me at like usually the nighttime. And it's always for just a random amount of money. And I know my brother ordered a movie. So he doesn't even ask. He'll just do it. And he'll send whatever money. And so I'll always just text back and say, what'd you order? Like, what movie are you watching tonight? Yeah. Because it's always a movie.

At least he's nice and repays you. That is really nice. That's the way to do it. In the summertime, I hate when Luke's home because Luke will order like 12 movies in a night. He'll order the movie, watch like five minutes of it, and go, eh, I don't like it. And then he goes to the next one, and he thinks that Xfinity gives it to you for free. So when we go in the morning to shop for food for all the stations in the city, everybody uses that discount. Well, I got a big old diesel truck. So I type in his phone number, and literally every other time it's a dollar off.

Wow.

So you're stealing one of your fellow firefighters' points from Kroger?

Something like that. He knows that we use it. I looked at the receipt last year, and the year-to-date savings for the employee discount was like $22,000.
