I'm fired up, Zach. Zach. Hey. Calm me down. You actually... I'm sorry. You bring me calm, Zach. You, what you do for us every single morning, how much you work for us. That's a good job, man. All right, so here's the story, though. You were ordering DoorDash. You think that you got robbed by a DoorDash delivery driver. And anybody that's a delivery driver, does DoorDash, Instacart, whatever, I want you to listen up. If you're this person, we're coming for you. What happened?

Yeah, so yesterday I ordered Chinese food with my sister, right? Oh, really? Love Chinese food. And before the order went through, literally the dasher texts me, and he's like, are you tipping in cash? And I'm like, this is weird. So I didn't respond. Literally about 16 minutes go by, and he's like, your order's taking a while. I'm like, no way. Like, let's go. Okay. He then texts me. again he says the restaurant is having issues by that time the restaurant calls me and says hey your order is actually ready your dasher hasn't picked it up yet so then i'm like this guy is totally scamming me 100 yeah so i sent you guys a picture in the in the group chat okay i'm looking at it right now bro you're lying the restaurant called me and you aren't there i'm complaining to you right now so then i went to go pick up my own uh i'm a little nervous i don't No, it's all right. You didn't do anything illegal. I'm not getting people in trouble. I don't know.

He already gets his tip in there. He knows what his percentage tip is. Don't they? Or am I wrong? Do they not see that there's a tip already on there?

They have to because when I have a big tip, somebody gets it right away and if i give a normal tip it takes like 40 minutes for them to assign a driver yeah really yes i thought you couldn't tell what the tip was until after it's delivered until after it gets delivered and then they know yeah i don't know but call us tanya the

like this because people are greedy and just fools ignorant i mean we have the choice to We pick the order if we want to, if it's worth our time and money. And if you don't want it, then just don't pick it. I see people harassing DoorDashers all the time, or DoorDashers harassing people. It's hilarious. I don't know why they're doing that. You can get kicked off the job and never get back in. I mean, it's just ridiculous. People steal food all the time. It's really, really bad and everything else.

What's worse? Let me ask this to everybody. What would you rather? the door dash driver ate some of your french fries or ate some of your food or that they

held you hostage for more cash tip don't touch my food i'd rather some jerk you know eat my food

but you know at least you got your food right zach didn't even get his food he didn't even get it he didn't even get his dim sum or whatever it up myself damn it drop it off and yeah i drop it

off and call it a day so i can keep moving just like a waiter or a waitress they need that table

hi good morning good morning what's going on i am a door dash driver i'm a uber eats uh driver and i'm uber driver so i get comments like this all the time i would never personally do this and i've only ordered from uber eats twice for a chinese food and i had to come to the door and i i tipped them but door dash drivers there's like you know you have groups on facebook and door dash drivers they all have groups and they always comment and they always complain about oh this person didn't tip me or that's too far door dash drivers are really picky and they really want the tips because even on door dash you have it where the customer can pay you cash instead of

doing it on the app and people really prefer that that's a problem that's a problem you should cash should be the optional thing because they did a great job you can give them cash the idea that they negotiate for that, to me, is sketchy. DoorDash should stop doing that.

That was my first time experiencing that. It's like, oh, it comes up, they're going to give you cash, but the trick is once you get that cash, it deducts from all your future orders or all your future money. So it's like it's a good thing for a moment, but not really in the end.

Zach should give this guy a bad rating. If you get a bad rating, do you get less DoorDash orders?

It makes that person look bad, and they can't block their account. All they're going to do is investigate and block them out for 24, 48 hours. And even with Uber Eats, people will lie and say they didn't get their food, but they did just to get their money back from Uber Eats. And it's like, I took a picture. It's right there. And then meet at door. If you don't meet me at the door in less than five minutes, I'm going to message you. I'm leaving it here, and don't let it be in the apartment building. That's locked, and you didn't give me the call. Oh, that's the worst. Yeah, that's fair.

Yeah, the comment on the DoorDash is that sometimes you see the base fare and you only get like $3 or something, and you'll be going over 10 miles. So I got somewhat wise someone to ask, are you going to give me a tip if there was no tip put on there to begin with?

Where was the Chinese place? How far was it away from you, Zach? How long did it take you to get there? Well, now you guys are calling out how lazy I am. It was in Northville, and I live in Novi. Oh. It was.

It was less than like three, four miles. Yeah, that's not even that far.

That's not that bad. Actually, how long did it take you to get there? Less than 10 minutes to drive there?

Yeah, 10 minutes.

So why would this guy ask for extra tip? That's an easy ride. Maybe he lived somewhere further away.

Sometimes you have to come out of your way to drive. So you might be living in Canton, and you've got to drive to Novi to pick up the food. And then you've got to drive up off a little bit further than that. Then don't accept it.

I will never use it again because on more than one instance ordering from Buffalo Wild Wings, I have had my order stolen to the point where they post the photo saying it was delivered, and it was on somebody's marble countertop.

Who's marble countertop? Is it the driver's marble countertop?

They were eating good that night. By the way, that would piss me off. Has anybody ever looked at those pictures and you can see the reflection of the driver and the driver's got like their zipper open? My window in the front window, like the reflection, you see the driver. I was like, I wanted to tell him back in a little comment thing. Hey, your zipper's there. Bro, you love zooming in on pictures. I do. And if you do a picture and it's a live picture, I always want to know if you're talking smack. All right. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it.
