Is God truly omniscient, or does the Bible present a different picture? In this episode of Nephilim Death Squad, David Lee Corbo (The Raven), TopLobsta, and Ed Mabrie (Faith By Reason) continue a thought-provoking discussion about God's foreknowledge, free will, prophecy, and what Scripture actually teaches. The conversation examines challenging biblical passages involving Job, Abraham, Satan (ha-satan), Isaiah 45:7, Revelation, and the nature of God's knowledge. Does free will require that future human choices remain genuinely open? How should Christians understand omniscience, omnipotence, and omnipresence? Are these biblical concepts, or later theological formulations? Ed Mabrie walks through numerous scriptural examples while explaining why he believes the Bible teaches that God possesses all knowledge that exists while allowing genuine human freedom. The discussion also explores prophecy, the role of the adversary in the Book of Job, the seven churches of Revelation, and why Christians should test every teaching against Scripture rather than blindly accepting tradition. Whether you agree or disagree, this episode is designed to encourage careful Bible study, thoughtful discussion, and deeper examination of difficult theological questions. 00:05:00 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 1:

That's where like all the material I've been going over and posting for the last 10 plus years is there. It's also where you can access my newest book is right there. We talked about it last week. I just dropped a new book on the seven letters to seven churches. I think it's the most important part of Revelation for the church for our age, because these are seven letters that Jesus himself wrote or penned, penned rather. he dictated to john so it's a message to the churches that there were contemporaries of the churches that were there at the time in asia minor but they it relates to all churches it relates to all of us individually and those seven letters and the order in which they are given actually give you church history in advance from the apostolic church of ephesus to the persecuted church in smyrna through the um the rise of catholicism with diatira sardis with reformation all the way to today laodicea which is the which called the the um the postmodern church which is the last one so here we are oh and do me a favor if you can um purchase the book there you can get the electronic version uh the pdf version or the ebook you can also get it on amazon if you want the paperback and if you do me a favor go to amazon and just give it a five-star review even if you haven't read it you can just give it five stars hey you know we like ed's teaching or whatever you want to put there but that just helps elevate the book and get more people to have it appear in their in their searches got to hijack that algorithm yeah these little things

00:06:23 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 2:

help tremendously how do you think we got on mount crushmore yeah that's right we we called

neat handwriting my handwriting just ordered it so we got it women always have really nice uh

00:07:06 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 1:

handwriting well you know a neat handwriting is a sign of insanity oh you know that makes a lot of Do you know who had a beautiful handwriting style? Adolf Hitler.

00:07:16 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 3:

I believe it. I believe it. Charles Manson, also notably fantastic handwriting. Interesting little side note there.

00:07:24 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 1:

00:08:07 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 2:

followed up with uh with merkel about this because he's the one who kind of uh put the wheels on this

00:08:12 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 1:

for you guys yeah um i i did he said that he i think his show was like they're completely booked for the rest of the year yeah yeah they're gonna try to have me on early uh i don't know july oh my god yeah yeah they're they're booked out i think they have such a backlog of shows

00:08:29 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 2:

so yeah yeah that must be must be nice nice you know there's a i guess a problem with that though is that uh it's you you kind of have to be current a little bit yeah that's why we allow some things

00:08:41 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 3:

to jump the line and then we'll do neft to america which is kind of like current events and that'll jump the line if it seems appropriate but then that gets like unorganized and messy but it's

00:08:49 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 2:

also the current subject being organized i can see that would be nice like you went on vacation and like well we did we have somewhat of a backlog yeah yeah yeah it's it's a whole thing by the way

00:08:59 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 3:

thank you to uh kenny the fed for the twenty dollar donation for uh for my coolant which uh i will be pocketing because i don't need uh the coolant anymore i fixed the problem i didn't fix the problem the mechanic fixed the problem um and so i i wore a lot of the coolant and it was hot thank you kenny but uh thank you kenny so uh what are we getting into today and this is a continuation more or less of the last episode that i wasn't on and i was very upset to see matt pretending like you were his friend and i i really don't like matt has this habit of uh trying to talk to people and pretend that they're his friends really they were ours first it's written on the board it actually is we have a dry erase but it's not even a joke it's right behind the tv and one of the things is stop pretending our friends are your friends what

00:09:42 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 2:

did you done uh it was 600 episodes with us what did you think about the one that you did with matt but better worse not as good right just tell it was very different you know that there's there's

00:09:54 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 1:

no one like raven to be on the show with it's just you know it's a raven thank you i think the difference was you know matt You know, he kind of has like, you know, the biblical receipts so he can so so he has he can come.

00:10:04 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 2:

He actually knows what he's talking about.

00:10:08 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 1:

He has the verses and everything like that, whereas, you know, Raven gives me the stream of consciousness. I think the Holy Spirit just pops into his head and he and he, you know, says them. So, you know, it's like Raven is an oracle and like and Matt is more of a scribe. So so Matt's a scribe and, you know, Raven is a Pharisee.

00:10:25 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I agree. I would say I'm more of a of a of an oracle. he's more of a scrub is that what you say scrub right i said scribe oh scribe okay all right i'll tell uh so you know you guys were having this conversation on last episode and before we started you and i were going back and forth a little bit talking about i don't know if this is going to apply so much but it was this idea of like does god know all things before they happen and yeah we talked about that so i mentioned the whole abraham thing as a good example is that is that kind of where we're going uh today or or yeah we can circle back on that because i think

00:10:57 - 00:11:29 | Speaker 1:

And I've gotten some people who have reached out to me afterwards, you know, not hostile, but they've pushed back, which I'm totally fine with. If you, you know, you should push back, push back on everybody, including me. I don't know everything. You know, what I say is thus saith Ed, not thus saith the Lord. But I try to, you know, back it up with scriptures and with, I think, logic and reason and all that kind of stuff. But please, absolutely, you should, don't follow anyone blindly. That's how you get involved in a cult. And if you're going to be involved in a cult, give me money. But if you're not, which I recommend. and your wives no no no you don't want the wives you don't want to do that you know how much

00:11:29 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 2:

of a headache multiple women are that's insane i've got i've got i've got one and she's you know

00:11:34 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 1:

she's a handful i love her to death but i i can't imagine it's like you know do the polygamy thing and like you tell me what are you serious i do you know yourself why would you there's that guy

00:11:41 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 2:

andrew wilson who's always you know debating women on the whatever podcast and i said to him one day and he didn't understand what i was trying to say i said hey you're married the best part about being married is you no longer have to engage with other women it's actually uh such a huge burden off your shoulders to make your occupation to argue with them uh when you're you're married to one is is an insane uh endeavor to undertake so yeah these other guys these other occultists they messed up because or cultists rather uh they did the the too many women thing and that's

00:12:09 - 00:14:20 | Speaker 1:

they totally i i feel so i have single friends i feel so bad from in this culture i'm like i you guys i you guys have it rough yeah i agree with that yeah i agree with that but anyway so yeah they were pushing back about this and give me examples well you know god says this how can you how can he prophesy you know it's the main pushback i've got from people which legitimate question so if so let me just give the premise is that god does not know what people entities with free will are going to do before they do it because he because we have free will the choice that we're going to make tomorrow hasn't been made yet so there's this idea they call the three omnis you've heard from god's god's omniscient he's omnipotent and he's omnipresent only one of those is biblical that he is omnipresent god is everywhere not only is it biblical you can prove it through science you know when you get to the quantum level every proton in the universe knows what every other proton is doing on that quantum level so but the part about being omnipotent this is defined so god can do anything no god can't do anything god there's things in the bible that god says he can't do god can't lie god can't stop being god you know when an atheist comes up with that silly argument well can god if god can do anything can he make a rock so heavy he can't lift it no he can't that's not possible god is not god is not omnipotent god is all powerful the difference is god can do anything that is possible which means that god cannot do something that's impossible and that doesn't diminish him that makes him more real and with the god is not omniscient meaning he doesn't know everything that's ever happened because people look at it as if our existence is a movie that god already watched so think about you your favorite movie. You know what's going to happen. It's already happened. So the people within that movie don't have a choice. You know what they're going to do. They've done it already. But that's not how God is. God is all-knowing. And that means that God has all the information that exists. Every piece of information that exists, God has access to it. But what that means is he doesn't have access to information that does not exist. And information that doesn't exist is the choices we're going to make 10 minutes from now. God doesn't know that yet. Now, he knows causes. He knows us. And he can predict with a certain level of certainty what we're going to do. But he doesn't know exactly because we can always change our mind.

00:14:20 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 2:

You know what I think is a good example of that? And I might hopefully not rehashing things you guys already talked about. But when Satan comes to God, I should. um when satan comes to god and he says you know job your faithful servant would would curse you you know if if basically his life went to shit he cursed you to your face um and then god more or less takes that bet satan obviously knows god and for him to create that scenario like okay let me go down let me tempt him let me ruin his life and uh and we'll see if he doesn't curse you to your face um you know to make it

00:15:00 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 3:

deal or or in some ways a sort of a gamble a bet with god knowing that god would definitively know the outcome no matter what kind of yeah that's kind of a it's i mean stupid proposition if yeah because it could whatever god says after that if he's all if he knows definitively what's going to happen down to the t like a movie he's already seen um then that would be a completely foolish but i mean it's still a foolish bet in very many ways and obviously the story pans out that way but um you know it doesn't make sense to even engage in it and i would imagine that

00:15:32 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 6:

satan knows god pretty well drew mackintyre here from wwe wielding the claymore can be a life of chaos when i'm not dominating in the ring chumba casino is how this warrior takes a wee break with hundreds of online social games and new weekly releases there's always something fresh to try and those daily boosts next level even my free time feels like valhalla so when life It feels like a battle.

things on that that that is a good example um of the point you're making is valid the point is however there is a distinction i was going to bring up later on we talk about who the devil is of who he's not. And maybe I'll save that for a bit. That entity called the Satan of the Hasatan in Job, it's not the Satan we're thinking of. That's not like the Nakhash from the Garden of Eden, the great dragon. It's a different entity. Remember, Satan's not a name. Satan is a title. It means the adversary. That entity in Job was not an evil angel. He was actually doing his job. His job was an adversary. His job was to test people. How do we know that? Because it It says that it came, there came a time with the sons of God, but Elohim, good angels came to present themselves or to report to God. And it said the Hasatan came with them. He was part of their contingent. It wasn't like the devil just happened to be there. No. First of all, evil can't be in the presence of God. If that were the case, then what do we need to get saved for? We could just go to heaven now. Say, hey, God, I'm here. No, evil cannot be in the presence of God. Well, that actually is even more compelling.

00:17:42 - 00:17:44 | Speaker 4:

God creates evil, though. He created evil.

00:17:45 - 00:17:46 | Speaker 2:

How did he create evil?

00:17:46 - 00:18:05 | Speaker 4:

uh this so i reb sims actually brought it up in the chat here isaiah 45 7 and i remember this verse but i not one that i could pull up on here i'll show it to you here um yeah i form the light and create darkness i make peace and i and create evil i the lord do

00:18:05 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 2:

all these things okay so this is where this is how the pull up pull up the uh go to tools go to

00:18:12 - 00:18:25 | Speaker 4:

interlinear yeah go to evil okay right here it's raw oh that's interesting that is interesting this is the hebrew

00:18:25 - 00:18:35 | Speaker 3:

bad disagreeable malignant uh man there's a whole lot of sad unhappy bad unkind unpleasant bad yeah

00:18:35 - 00:18:39 | Speaker 4:

I mean, you know, God does spend, he sends like a spirit. Right.

00:18:40 - 00:19:43 | Speaker 2:

But so let's look at that. So that word is translated evil, but the word that the actual evil, the definition of evil is that which destroys in the long term. So God can destroy in the short term for good in the long term. Give an example of what that means. Let's say you buy a piece of property and you want to build your dream home on it. But currently on a property, it's an old broken down shack. got to rip it down yeah exactly so that's what it means and as far as darkness is concerned darkness is the absence of light and that word create there is i'm gonna bet i didn't look it up but i'm going to assume that it is not the the same word um is it bara one second um yep yes it is it's bara because okay because in order for darkness to to to come into being you have to extinguish light because that's what darkness is a measurement of the lack of light darkness on its own doesn't exist so i think god said he can withdraw his light and bring about

00:19:43 - 00:19:50 | Speaker 4:

more darkness interesting right right right i see what you're saying there because that's another

00:19:50 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

thing i think when you had the guest one thing we talked about raven a lot was um a guest you had on before and again i'm not i'm not trying to rip the guy it's not yes it's not personal or anything like that, you know, he's,

00:20:00 - 00:20:08 | Speaker 3:

seem like a good guy but i just have some disagreements with he might be at bro grove and when you meet him if he does come he's a great dude too oh yeah it's nothing yeah it's

00:20:08 - 00:21:54 | Speaker 1:

totally nothing personal it's just you know i i just i i disagree with some of his premises and one of them was seemed to be that that you know god i think it's his premise was again that that god knows every everything anyone's going to do before they do it meaning that if he knew that the entity we call satan the the the devil the dragon was going to be bad then god wouldn't have created him therefore he had to be created some other way but that again that's the premise is i is incorrect that he did not know what he was going to do before he did because before before when he created them they had angels have free will they couldn't rebel if they didn't have free will so he didn't know he was going to do that so so god did create a the ain't the um the anointed cherub as he's called in ezekiel chapter 28 and he created him to be the high priest you know every every precious stone with his covering and he names those precious stones those are the same stones that are on the breastplate of the high priest um in israel the israelite high priest had those same things so so this entity was intended to be the highest created beings he was intended to be the high priest who would who basically he led the worship of jehovah but then he fell because of his pride but he didn't know that god didn't know that ahead of time so so god doesn't destroy in the long term he can destroy in the short term to to create in the long term because god god is light and there's no darkness in him at all so he can only he can withdraw his light and that brings about darkness because we that's that's um in the book of first john that god is light and there's no darkness in him at all so both those things can't be true if god so god is not darkness but when he withdraws his light then darkness grows right yeah we were

00:21:54 - 00:22:24 | Speaker 3:

just reading we're reading about david and soul obviously and uh it's the point where they're describing how soul like there was a spear there and soul threw it at him twice yeah very interesting that it says i don't want i'll i'll bring it up but uh something to the effect of uh like god came into him and put like evil in him for him to do this thing i'm like what what does that mean like for him to do an evil thing well it's like when god hardened pharaoh's heart yeah yeah yeah

00:22:24 - 00:23:20 | Speaker 1:

yeah he did that through justice because well i don't know if we ever talked about this but i i i kind of get confused at who i've said to what i've said to whom um on which show but when you look because it looks like unfair like why would god harden pharaoh's heart well look at what happened before that god tells moses to go tell pharaoh to let his people go he didn't say to free them from their slavery he says let them go to the mount mount sinai to worship me right he said hey give him give him a weekend pass yeah pharaoh said no number one which he had a right to a right to do but then he then he doubled up their burden and said yeah you're gonna make straw you know make brick without straw so now say now pharaoh's on the wrong side of justice so now god can justly harden his heart because Pharaoh, and it fits the punishment, it fits the crime. Pharaoh said, not only am I not going to let your people go for a weekend, I'm going to make it tougher on them. Okay, you're going to make it tougher on them. So you just, you became stubborn? Well, I'll make you more stubborn.

00:23:21 - 00:23:34 | Speaker 2:

I think it even says that he did this in a calculated manner so that it would be evident for future generations as to, like, what God has done here. It's also,

00:23:34 - 00:23:54 | Speaker 3:

it also has to be in you, too. I don't, Like when we're talking about the creation thing, like you said, he can withdraw his life, but that darkness is going to be a side effect. So there has to be a darkness in you. And if maybe maybe a soul becoming evil in that moment, like losing his mind is like God drawing away from him and letting that. Yeah, it's already stirring in him.

00:23:55 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 1:

That's a great point, because in the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit could come and go. Which is different than the being a New Testament believer. the holy spirit is given to us without repentance which means the holy spirit is never going to leave us but you know the story of samson people have this idea so funny whenever you see like samson depicted he's like this big strong muscular dude i don't think he was i think he was like a regular guy i think he i think when the holy that's why people were so amazed at his speech of strength like this dude's a string being why is he lifting all this stuff and beating up a lion with the jawbone of a donkey i think when the holy spirit would indwell him temporarily he would give him that great strength but then he would leave so the holy spirit and david in the psalm said you know do not let your spirit depart from me that's not a psalm a christian needs to say because this the holy spirit can't depart from them so can't depart from them so i think so yeah you're right the holy spirit could come and go and other spirits here's one of one of my favorite areas in in the bible is um the in first kings where you have the story of ahab and the prophet micaiah because this is something that michael heiser

00:25:00 - 00:25:46 | Speaker 3:

brought up in his book about the divine council, where Micaiah gets this vision of God surrounded by his council of angels. And God says, okay, Ahab's been screwing up constantly. He says, it's time for him to go. Ahab's committed so many bad things. It will be just for me to wipe him out. And he went to his council and says, okay, how should we do it? And Micaiah said, I heard spirits talking amongst each other. Like one said one thing and the other said another thing. And one spirit stepped up and said, okay, God, I'll do it. And God says, how? He says, i'll be a lying spirit in the mouths of his prophets and god said yeah do it that'll work so what does that mean that means that because these these prophets were already liars they were false prophets he just amplified what was already there so he didn't create a lie he just said okay i'll be a spirit and i will give them this this is just for them because they're already doing it

00:25:46 - 00:26:01 | Speaker 5:

right there's like iniquity in them and so this thing is allowed to come to pass that that's a lot of what we've been talking about i was just on vacation and i'm trying to unpack these things why are you so dark i don't know i don't know what the hell's going on because you want to be

00:26:01 - 00:26:14 | Speaker 3:

black dude just be honest that's why you know that's that's why i make so many jokes about black people dude you're just like it's like the girl at school you pull her pigtails because you want to you want to get with her have you ever seen my grandma my grandma is yeah like completely

00:26:14 - 00:26:31 | Speaker 5:

black like from africa black uh well my great grandma um but so so a lot of this conversation i'm having with them is trying to explain this idea of like iniquity and the things that you the things that you engage in create a set of legal circumstances by which spirits have access

00:26:31 - 00:27:26 | Speaker 3:

to you legally have access that's what we talked about that's what we talked about in a spiritual warfare class we just got through the um the defensive section and now we are on offense but one of the things we teach people in the defensive uh portion of this of the course is that god does everything through laws and covenants and yeah everything in the spiritual realm we may have mentioned this before when you make a covenant you've just given them and a covenant is speaking the words and being a worse either words you speak or words spoken over you that you walk in agreement with you've just made a covenant and when you make a covenant you've given the dark energy the dark forces legal right to do it so if you say i i never have money and you and you agree with it well guess what that's why you're always broke that's why every time you get a little bit of money you know your car breaks down your roof leaves or something you've given them permission to keep you in a poverty state so so we teach you how to break those covenants and speak the opposite of them and you know that's what we can we'll get into generational curses down the road

00:27:26 - 00:27:48 | Speaker 4:

but that's a lot of it has to do with that kind of stuff let me tell you why that's true uh when i lived in coney island my uncle sass yeah the guy's house that i bought i invited you over that you didn't go to because you always wanted to play video games on christmas it's fine it's okay in coney island his house was connected to my house like you ever seen like those uh like i don't know the neighborhoods of like just like a string of houses yeah yeah oh like a duplex or

00:27:48 - 00:27:51 | Speaker 5:

like oh no no i know what you mean i know what you mean yeah they're like just right next to

00:27:51 - 00:28:27 | Speaker 4:

that they're like sharing walls yeah yeah yeah they so they built the city built them and it was like affordable housing at the time my parents brought in the whole family so like on either side i have family but he lived right next to me and his wife she's the best but she's very much like oh and her mother that was alive at the time is always like oh woe is me oh i just know this is gonna happen and do that shit it was a time of like uh something like i don't know we're living there for 15 years and they go our warranty on the roof is almost up and i just know and i just know that this is gonna happen and their roof gets holes in it the right window treatments change

And my roof does not. That's so funny, dude. and we are can

00:30:00 - 00:30:28 | Speaker 3:

connected and then even got to a point where she was like i'm really worried about rats i hear that there's a rat she gets a rat infestation and she's very clean yeah and we're clean too but like we don't get a rat you guys are puerto rican we're as clean as puerto ricans could be we don't have that and they live connected to us and they have the infestation because i think they're blowing the shofar out there um literally actually happening is the rapture

00:30:28 - 00:31:53 | Speaker 2:

happening with no they're just not yet okay you know so i'm very much aware of that and it may be even to like a not a not a hypochondriac level but like if i'm sick i will say i'm sick i'm coming out of it it's you know oh i had a little thing but it's almost over i'm coming out of it i'm getting better i don't know if it works this way rebs i'm rich i'm rich i'm rich i'm rich it might be uh keep doing it so so but i actually will like shake those thoughts off which is probably insane looking you know but like if i'm hanging out and i'm just and i'll have a thought let's say for example the car problems that i was having and i had a weird dream where i felt like there was some sort of witchcraft going on um and then i start to draw a correlation but i don't want to come into agreement with that like this thing happened to me and now i'm watching all these kind of dominoes fall and i'll like i'll shake that off and i'll start saying you know it's going to be and i would say this like even though the car was overheating and everything i had this whole you know experience over vacation yeah i pulled back we we finally got back in the driveway decided to stay another night and and deal with the car problems in the morning and my whole family's going oh i'm so sorry this is happening to you and i go it's gonna be fine tomorrow it's gonna be fine it's just give it a day let it rest and everything's gonna be fine you get that strength from grandma i don't do that oh that's my grandma's face over matt's face uh which is

00:31:53 - 00:31:58 | Speaker 3:

really really horrifying it was black and white grandma but yeah yeah she was uh i think that

00:31:58 - 00:33:00 | Speaker 2:

was actually a mug shot she was a a slave from spain of all places uh and but she was was she a more i don't know i want to say that because it sounds cool as shit but um who's gonna check you Well, I already said that the Jews trafficked my grandmother. And then everybody said, dude, that is not a bill of sale for your grandmother. That's a crime. Your grandmother is being arrested. It's a mugshot. And I went, oh, fuck. So I can't lie about my grandma. But I just know she was black and she was from Spain in traffic to Uruguay. Argentina. Uruguay, Argentina. One of those two places. but um yeah so so i i i do believe that because like top is saying you could observe that is it any coincidence that some of the people that are doing the worst that you encounter in your life are also you know woe is me ass like they just can't stop uh you know singing about

00:33:00 - 00:33:14 | Speaker 1:

their downfalls and think about people think about folks who are the other way around who like nothing bad ever happens to them they're just like it's usually like really really dumb people have you noticed like they just like live a charmed life because they're just there's too dumb to complain they're just like oh everything's great everything's roses and sunshine and

00:33:14 - 00:33:38 | Speaker 2:

yeah yeah i have a beautiful life in very many ways i have you know whatever little struggles i have but like my life it to me feels wonderful and i don't like anything that happens to me i don't i might see the insanity in it in the moment and and you know talk about how crazy it is but like yeah i'm always at the mindset like yeah it's gonna be fine it's gonna be fine but

00:33:38 - 00:34:04 | Speaker 3:

and i try my best to like be that way um i think that's why the dynamic between me and david works so good there's there are times where i'll i'll i've called him i'm like hey dave what's happening now is not good and we are gonna and he's like i am fine and i was like we're gonna fix this it doesn't have to be this i think you need a little bit of a little bit of both yeah you need both yeah but like one will drive you crazy yeah one will make you crazy i don't know yeah another

00:34:04 - 00:34:20 | Speaker 1:

thing is i think and the reason i think people who are like and i'm not speaking of raven here people who are less intelligent they just they don't overthink i think when you're when you're overthinker when you overthink then you're going to start worrying yeah and if you're not an overthinker you're like yeah i'm just doing my life i'm just doing my thing i'm fine i you know

00:34:20 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 2:

what it is i came to terms with this uh this idea of if you cannot affect it then you cannot worry about it because you will suffer a thing multiple times over until it comes to pass so if you're anticipating a thing coming and you cannot affect that it's coming well you better relax about it until it shows up enjoy the time you have until the thing shows up i'm all about minimizing the um the the ground zero of it all you know what i mean so if a thing is looming on the horizon it's not going to do its damage until it's here and the second it passes then i'm back on with it and before it shows up i'm moving as if it's not coming and you know of course unless i can affect it.

00:35:00 - 00:37:17 | Speaker 3:

you know what's interesting i wanted to bring this to your attention so it's actually on a clip um of yours that's on our page on on instagram and there's an individual who keeps trying to i guess he's probably relatively innocently asking a question he may be trying to work us into some sort of gotcha moment you know as people do when they don't agree with the god of the bible um but he's doing it in a kind of a passive manner and so uh he says these things over and over again this idea of like where is god located because if god is omnipresent then that makes god everything which is very much kind of a new age or even pseudoscientific view of we are the universe experiencing itself subjectively and if god is the universe then we are god experiencing himself subjective and you know so he's asking for a specific location is god omnipresent or is he located somewhere and i said uh second corinthians 12 2 through 4 which talks about you know god's throne and and the third heaven i believe and um you know i just gave that to him like are you asking where god because i didn't really quite pick up on what was happening at the moment and then he goes on to be like oh well here's your gotcha moment if he is relegated to uh one position then he's not omnipresent and if he is omnipresent then the worship of a stone is therefore the worship of god because he is in all things and this is like a really slippery slope for people who have not looked into any information and the reason that i say that is because i asked him your entire worldview is is based on the presupposition that god is everything and if god is everything then maybe in some ways everything is permitted right which is another that's what they're trying to do without will is the whole of the law type of thing like there's a lot of really slippery slopes in that uh situation but if you're operating from this i'd like to know what information are you basing that off of that god is everything and it just kind of comes out as a word salad and goes well i mean if energy is this and that and we're made up of energy and the universe is it's like okay so no information is what you're saying effectively uh could you speak to that a little bit this idea of like the omnipresence of god and god being everything the right window treatments change everything your

slash switch. Upfront payment of $45 for three months, $90 for six months, or $180 for 12-month plan required. $15 per month equivalent. Taxes and fees extra. Initial plan term only greater than 50 gigabytes may slow when network is busy see terms so god cannot be everything because he

00:38:17 - 00:39:35 | Speaker 4:

if he was everything then how could he have created the universe how could the universe have not existed and then existed and that would have meant that god was didn't part of god didn't exist and then he created the physical universe now more of him exists no that's that's no god existed before the universe therefore he cannot be god is god is transcended he is outside if you want to say physically for lack of a better term he is outside of the universe when omnipresent as the word means presence his presence is everywhere it doesn't mean that he is physically everywhere because god is not physical i think his main problem is that he is confusing this physical with the spiritual they are not the same thing they are not this world that we call that we consider physical is not the same as the spiritual realm god is in a higher dimension he is much higher debate we we are in we experience you know the three spatial dimensions and the the fourth dimension of time and our and even scientists uh postulate that our physical world is about 10 dimensions you know for the we get for they're knowable the rest are not knowable they're as the physicists would say you know they're curled to within you know 10 to the minus something centimeters i'm not gonna get into that but the point is that god is outside of that so are the elohim so are the angels they are outside of that so god's consciousness is everywhere but he is not he is conscious of me but he is not me this is like being outside then what was he before

00:39:35 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 3:

i before i was born right this is kind of the concept to me sounds like and correct me if i'm wrong but if you're outside of this reality then you can observe all things within it from the

00:39:47 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 4:

outside right yeah one of the things one of the analogies that my old mentor chuck missler would talk about was a parade if you were standing at you know at on the ground of a parade you're just seeing things pass by, you see one thing at a time. If you were in a helicopter,

00:40:00 - 00:40:52 | Speaker 3:

above the parade you see the whole parade right you can see you can see all of it and god sees everything he can hear my prayer here he can see he can hear the prayer of somebody who's in germany right now he can hear a prayer of someone who's in who's in ghana right now because he is caught his consciousness is everywhere because when i said that you know every proton in the universe knows every other proton is doing keep in mind that when you get to the quantum level there is no physicality it's all vibration i mean again it's the whole matrix idea that even this world is it's not real in the way we define realness we this is like you know it's where we live in a hologram essentially yeah so if you if you created a hologram if you're say your computer design you create a holographic what model you can know everything that's going on there but you're not the hologram so god knowing where what is going on doesn't mean he

00:40:52 - 00:41:27 | Speaker 2:

is physically in it you know what's strange about it is it is appealing in some way it sounds intellectual it's it's not incorrect once you start getting into the idea of like you said the holographic universe everything is really empty space and energy is is what really you know um animates all of this and and if energy the second law of thermodynamics is that it cannot be destroyed or created or something like that nature or does that matter i don't know but we'll oh that's interesting um so sam triple sam triple he's calling uh let me take this

00:41:27 - 00:41:37 | Speaker 3:

so hey why'd you cancel me dude i was supposed to be on your show today yes he said ask him why why he canceled uh i blame mark it wasn't it wasn't sam's fault it probably was mark uh so

00:41:37 - 00:43:09 | Speaker 2:

so uh i love you mark i'm just shout out for you listening i'm just kidding it sounds like it's got some legs and in that way i think what it does is because to me i i've heard this argument before and it's very prevalent within uh new age ideologies when you say yeah yeah yeah and and so it is this thing that sounds intellectual it also sounds spiritual and it sounds as if it's free of the perceived dogma of religion which religion is now uh you know relegated to just being a control mechanism for the masses type of deal so if you go with this which i can i can understand why you might have the unction to go with it it is the gateway to all sorts of things i mean paganism most obviously right because the worship of anything in nature is therefore the worship of god if god is in all things right but fundamentally paganism i think can be defined as the worship of creation as opposed to the creator yeah roman chapter one yeah so it's um it's a very wide net that's casted with this idea and it captures so many people and i almost feel bad because it has some holes when you obviously look at it closer but when you zoom out and you look at it from a thousand foot view it seems appealing and a lot of people who are well-meaning are

00:43:09 - 00:44:34 | Speaker 3:

falling for it and here's i know we're going to get into into satan in a bit but but i'll give you a little preview of something i'm going to talk about more i'll just talk about right now about um the way satan and i and when i say satan i mean anyone any of the entities that are satanic are our adversaries so satan is one entity satan has locality unlike god satan the fallen angels whatever you want to name them they have a certain level of locality they are they are not omnipresent they're not everywhere so you're not you're not counting satan satan has more important people to deal with in you and me he's he's he's probably in congress somewhere but um you know what in all seriousness he actually probably is actually is in congress right that's what he's hanging out right now behind whispering in like in like uh i was gonna name it in his ears yeah yeah exactly so when you're dealing with these entities they lie but the best lie is is gonna be wrapped in in in a truth i think we probably talked about this before so you what you want a deception is a right what or right fact with a wrong how or why because if someone gives you a fact that sounds true and and then they give you the wrong context so a fact god is everywhere fact oh well then that must mean he's in the rocks and the trees and the water that's the deception because the fact appeals to you on a on a on a an internal level yes god is everywhere i agree with that and that is correct but then the deception comes with what you attach to what you give a wrong how or

00:44:34 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 1:

why well i think a good example here uh biblically we were going through exodus where uh um aaron aaron fashions the the calf right out of the gold and he says he tells the people gather the gold he makes a calf they start to worship it interesting thing about that goal is that the gold's given to them uh by god when they're coming out of egypt yeah like he says give them the gold and they give them their stuff their earrings and all that stuff so it's Thank you.

00:45:00 - 00:46:16 | Speaker 2:

given by god this is it's in a sense created not i mean gold is essentially created by god but then the gift is given to them by god and they form it into something else and worship it so it's complicated right because on it on its exterior it's it is made by god it's a natural thing and it's even given to you by god but you formulate it into something else and then you worship it and then he kills 3 000 of you guys because you're not supposed to do that right yeah so i think matt Matt he says it great when we're talking about his food forest he's like yeah man I look at the trees and it's like yeah God is like moving through like you see the growth and like he he creates the increase and and his disposition is always thank you God for this of course yeah I wasn't owed this thank you for that like because in a sense it is don't worship it though yeah it's this creation and you just say yeah thank you like anytime you see people too I try my best you see people and you're like oh this guy stinks or whatever it is was like ah he was created by god i should be like more happy when i see people i'm just kind of i get tired you get tired too sometimes like that's a correct disposition you shouldn't worship people yeah but also realize there is like a spark of divinity there's a spark of god that like you know he put his his

00:46:16 - 00:46:39 | Speaker 1:

fingerprint on that thing yeah right yeah every person is unique and they have something to to give but they may not know what their uniqueness is and they may not know what their value is they're not being valuable so if they're not being valuable you don't have to you know you have to go out of your way to value them because if they're not bringing something to the table what you can do is say hey you know what here be better you can help them you know be better so that they can be you know better to other people and better to the world yeah god breathed life

00:46:39 - 00:47:13 | Speaker 2:

into them yeah but they had the agency to decide whether or not they suck right um or they they do well you know what's interesting god's creation not god itself so correct again like what we're doing here is very important where even i know people get mad about like well what does god know and what is i disagree with this yeah like we're trying to figure this stuff out so that way you could accurately uh worship god like who is god what does he do what is he like if you don't know if you're not even asking most people aren't even asking because it you know you might stumble upon some offensive conclusions or you might be wrong well then what are we doing yeah i mean that's

00:47:13 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

the whole point of what i do and i mean because i've been asked a lot you know what how you encapsulate what you what faith by reason is all about it's i want i want to enhance people's walk with god and the best way to do that is by is by helping them know who god is and who he is and how he does things and how he doesn't do things and so why don't we just why don't we close the loop on the whole um you know what does god know thing we can move on because i don't want us to get lost in that because i know people are going to be like banging that you never finished your thought okay so so so god here's what god does know here's how we can prophesy god knows what he's going to do so how can god prophesy in revelation that he's going to pour off the bowls of wrath and all these sorts of things and because he's going to do it so god can say what he's going to do i can say here here's what i'm going i can prophesy that you know tomorrow actually i'm going to get a haircut tomorrow i can prophesy that i will be getting a haircut tomorrow because i'm in control god willing yeah well god will my barber doesn't like you know flake out on me but so but god can say i'm going to do this no no unlike me no one can stop god from doing what he wants to what he can do through justice you know the world will have deserved that at that point which is you know it's kind of scary when you think about it that that god is god knows that he's going that the world is going to get to the point so he can prophesy that the world is eventually going to get to the point where he can justly pour out the wrath but he doesn't know how long it's going to take so far it's been 2 000 years or more actually if you go back to the book of daniel or or some of the other minor prophets who also had apocalyptic um uh books so they prophesied this god knows that eventually the world is going to get so bad that i can justly judge it with these horrifying cataclysms, but I don't know how long it's going to take. So there's another point of prophecy that shows that we have free will. So God knows eventually what we're going to do, but he doesn't know how long. So God can prophesy what he's going to do, and God can also prophesy with specificity what entities with no free will are going to do. And that is all the fallen entities have been judged. Once you've been judged by God, you no longer have a free will. So that's why he knows what Satan is going to do, what the other fallen Elohim are going to do, because they don't have a free will. So when you go back to the book of Daniel, when they, basically Daniel's eavesdropping on a conversation in heaven, basically, where the fallen Elohim are obeying one of the spiritual laws, David, that you have to speak it in one realm for it to manifest. And they said that through these four empires, we're going to usher in our Antichrist, which he was called the little horn in Daniel covered with eyes. And he is going to be our guy, our false messiah. God says, cool. That's what you're going to do. That's what's going to happen. Here's my counter move. I'm going to bring a son of man riding on the clouds, a human being with the authority of God, and he's going to inherit the earth. And the rest of the, that's like the whole story right there. The rest of the Bible is all that playing out in our realm.

00:50:00 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 4:

so he can he can predict what he's going to do accurately and what entities with no free will are going to do accurately that was a specific then there are general prophecies that he can make based on knowing the causes that lead to the effects so when he says that all the world corporately will worship the antichrist well how does he know that well because he knows our tendencies that the world will not everyone because there's going to be lots of people who are saved during the tribulation period so he's speaking corporately because the because the why Because the world has always gone after false entities, false gods. So we can say that. So we can predict. And I think I gave the example maybe last time I was on the show, like my wife's favorite ice cream is butter pecan. When we go to a restaurant or whatever and they ask, hey, we have ice cream, what flavor do you want? I can say, my wife's going to get butter pecan. I know her. And nine times out of 10, she will. I can make that general prophecy. But maybe one day she says, you know what? Today I want chocolate. She still has free will. but i can i know her tendencies over the long term she is going to choose butter pecan more often than not so i can make that prophecy about her and that's a general prophecy and it's not a specific so he can make general prophecies about us about humanity but he doesn't know specifically and if he did then john 3 16 the most famous verse in the bible would be would be meaningless for god so loved the world he gave his only begotten son that whosoever that means he doesn't know how many people are going to accept jesus and that and that you know flies in the face of and contradicts Calvinism, which states that God knows everyone is going to be saved. Not only does Calvinism say he knows everyone is going to be saved, it says that he chooses. And that makes God cruel. And that's something your previous guest, Jed, kind of brought up. And he thought that was wrong. And he's right. That is incorrect. But he had a different explanation for how it plays out. But it would be cruel for God to, before you're born, you're going to heaven, you're going to hell, you have no choice. That's completely against the nature of god so that whole predestination thing is and not only that it makes you lazy because if if god knows who's going to hell and who's not and there's nothing you can do about it

00:52:02 - 00:53:02 | Speaker 1:

then why evangelize right we were uh we were joking again we'll move on from the subject now me and matt were joking about uh the bible like like matt's like a time travel guy it's very annoying um and at any point any of these people these main characters these figures in the bible could have said no and but that still plays out like that if they say no then somebody else does it and maybe it's like a couple months later maybe it's a few years later maybe i don't know and some people even try to jump the gun like moses tried to jump the gun and start moving because because he knew that he was supposed to do a thing but i don't know what if david says no when he's called to go play for soul or something like that he could have said no somebody else does that and that same story plays out and it's instead of david it's whoever whoever's in there randall randall randall's doing this and then we know king randall and and the story is like the same but maybe slightly different maybe some of the you know the details are different on the side

00:53:02 - 00:53:07 | Speaker 4:

but generally yeah it's a great point god god's he will bring his will about tyler reddick here

But if you say no, that means he has to take another route. It happens in our lives. I mean, how many times have we said no to God? And all that meant was, no, now I have to take a different route. So God is always course correcting our lives. He's always course correcting. But his will is going to happen. But who knows? Maybe if things have worked out differently, you know, the world would have ended 500 years ago. But because of our free will, things have happened differently. I mean, I gave the example last week, David, you weren't on the show, was like, my dad, who's a preacher, he told me in my 20s, he says, I think you're called to be in the ministry. And I was like, hell no. I want no part of the ministry in my 20s. I want to go out and drink and chase women and do my thing. How different would things have been if I had taken that seriously and maybe gone to theology school? Maybe I'd be worse. Maybe I'd be so ingrained in the doctrines of the whatever theological cemetery I went to, that maybe God wouldn't be able to flow through me the way he is now. Who knows? He would have found another way. But when I said, I'm...

00:55:00 - 00:55:23 | Speaker 2:

I want to be in the ministry. Now I'm in my twenties. I want to go out and have fun and party. God had to course correct. He says, no, this is who you should be. This is how, this is what's not because God's a dictator. He said, but God knows who I am and what's going to make me happy. And I am happiest doing this. So he says, I'm going to keep course correcting because I, because you've given your life to me. I want the best for you. And what's best for you is to do this. So I'm going to keep making course corrections to steer you back. And it's just

00:55:23 - 00:58:23 | Speaker 1:

taken another 20 years you know it's interesting you so you said something before that stuck with me and it's probably simple that a lot of people take for granted but um it kind of clicked because you were talking about um you know uh god and the reason that he was able to harden pharaoh's heart is because he asked initially to let his people go into the desert and worship and sacrifice and do these things and pharaoh said no to that and then he doubled their workload or however you would even measure it saying that now you have to get your own uh bricks and straw and make your own and you know so because of that imbalance there god was then allowed to harden his heart and then you mentioned separately later on that once the world has i'm paraphrasing here but sufficiently transgressed. Now this judgment is allowed to take place against it. And that really put a thing into a framework that I didn't necessarily have before. I never had a problem with it, this idea that the world would be judged and these things would come to pass. But it's just another instance of God's character and the way that he operates being consistent. And once again, by the way, it's another instance of people who will go, the god of the old testament is the demiurge who behaves very much the same way as the god of the entire bible if you're really looking at it if you're actually observing the behavioral patterns um and the prophecy that points to christ all throughout the old testament and all these things like everything is very consistent for me that's just another example of of that consistency it's kind of funny because there's this you know big q anon conspiracy and on the previous show top and i were watching a music video an ai music video that elon musk was retweeting and um and it's filled with q anon um i guess what would you call it lore and a lot of it has to do with time travel and so within this q anon conspiracy there is this idea that time travel is a part of it all and there's no shortage of conspiracies that say like they're engaging in time travel where they're looking at project looking glass they're doing these things to try to stave off this judgment and you know i know it's a complete side tangent but it just makes me think like oh are they in a constant struggle with making sure the cup of iniquity doesn't overflow so that judgment can be you know because you're saying it could have happened 500 years ago it's it's really this thing that will come to pass it's just when will it come to pass and if somebody figured that out at some point like oh shit if we fill this cup up too much judgment is coming we better go back and you know tweak a couple of things and stop this from happening and alter that um if you were have to come or if you were to have come to the conclusion that that is the way that god operates you have to cross this line so that you can be

00:58:23 - 00:58:37 | Speaker 1:

judged um and that it would be righteous it would be um justified well then you might come to the conclusion then let's alter the amount of uh iniquity that we're uh enacting upon this planet

00:58:37 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 2:

um okay so here's the point i want to make within that so the whole time travel thing is a concept it's fascinating it makes for great books and movies i have problems with because of all the paradoxes that would be part and parcel of it that would make it almost impossible um but again i don't i'm not a physicist i i don't know i mean i i dabble in the in that kind of stuff and i think it's interesting, but I just see the paradoxes just doesn't seem like it will work, or you have to have alternate timelines, get you to multiverse stuff like that, and who knows. But I think one point that I want to emphasize is that you're right, that these entities know that they're on the clock. Eventually, God's going to pour out the wrath. They want to stall it. What's the best way to stall it? I don't think it's by making the world, intentionally making it worse, because you're right, this is going to get up to a point where God says, okay, I've got enough justice you know what what the best way to to stay this off is to keep people lukewarm if you keep people from like choosing a side because god said jesus says you know you you got to be hot or cold but if you just like just right in the middle you know you're not too bad you're not too good i'm just keeping you right you know i have a spirituality i believe in this but i you know maybe not the god of the bible but i want to be a good person but you're you're lukewarm you're staying right in the middle and what you're doing is you're just delaying it it's going to happen because you know we're on a downward slope but what you don't see being like this make it more like like that you're kind of flattening the curve

They know that, you know, the end is coming. But they can't control us either. And we're going, and I think it's increasing, mostly because I think that Christianity is diminishing. And as, you know, we talked about before, light and darkness. As the light of Christianity dims, the darkness is going to grow. But I think if these entities have their way, they try to flatten it out. That's actually... Go ahead. I'm sorry, Ed. But when you look at things like, you know, disclosure, the never ending like kicking the can of disclosure down the road i think it's because these entities know that it's close and they're preparing for it they just don't know how close they just need to be ready that whenever it happens be it you know the rapture it's the whole we've talked about that before or whether it's whatever they know what's going to happen and when it does happen they say well we need to have our ducks in a row so if let's say people do disappear tomorrow oh it was the aliens or if there is a nuclear war or something like that oh we need to bring our alien people in here to stop it because you know we we still need some people around to help carry out our will so i think that they know it's close and they have this disclosure thing on the back burner but i think the reason it keeps getting kicked down the road is because god's like i'm not ready yet you guys can't force my hand no i don't care how many red heifers you grow i don't care you're not going to force my hand i'm going to do things when my justice has reached its point and you don't know when that is that's actually a really fascinating

01:02:20 - 01:03:42 | Speaker 3:

thought because yeah you can tell by the signs in the times whether or not we're getting close but you're never going to know the day or the hour um and so having these these plot devices for lack of a better term in position like aliens yeah i mean that would be like based off of the way everything's looking if they really do believe it right rapture is going to happen and so yeah you have these these uh this alien disclosure in place for it one of the things that i really agree with that uh jed was on the show talking about was this thing that you know god is separating he separates light from darkness is one of the you know very first things that he's doing in in genesis so just given that element of like what what god's job is like what he's decided to do here this act of separation um and then how that applies to being lukewarm that makes a ton of sense it's it's like maybe the the move isn't to just push everybody to the darkness if you're the the evil masterminds of everything maybe the as as dr leather heather lynn said um when you're sitting on the fence satan owns the fence right so you're actually doing his bidding by being on the fence and if it's god's will to separate these things if it's god's will for you to be like you said hot or cold um sitting on the fence is shit maybe uh almost more egregious

01:03:42 - 01:04:46 | Speaker 1:

Every time I've said like, you know, our church does a lot of, what's that called? Ministry. What is it? Missionaries. Yeah, a lot of missionary. And I'm like, I don't like this. I don't like the missionary. I don't like it for two reasons. Number one, a lot of problems here. And I'm like, you do a missionary. That's you're we're accelerating the timeline, which I guess we're supposed to do. Right. I don't know. Maybe there's an argument. you can argue that yeah there's another argument as well where if if i were the forces of evil or if i if i were me what i want to do to the government during covid is create uh an accelerationist movement and start making them respond to me and act in a frenzy and then you see how they get sloppy and and the internet as a whole did that really good and then we're able to see through a lot of the lies so accelerationism is a technique that could be used to push I wonder if, you know, Satan and that side are trying that technique or if they're trying to stay their hand and keep it nice and even.

01:04:46 - 01:04:48 | Speaker 3:

Probably trying to stay there. They're not trying to rush to judgment, right?

01:04:49 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 1:

But what other choice do you have at a certain point where, like, if we got to fight them, like, we're going to give them more time to build this. Like, I'd rather fight you before you're ready. But again, God's not going to let that happen.

01:05:00 - 01:05:23 | Speaker 2:

but if i were the other side i'd want to be like if me and me and ed have a fight in eight weeks i want to fight ed if i'm if i'm i don't want to wait eight weeks i'm fighting you tomorrow yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah go ahead get some training ed and come back and kill me it's like no let's start this right now yeah certainly a technique there as well yeah i don't know though i don't know which one's being used and i don't well it almost doesn't matter because whatever

01:05:23 - 01:05:42 | Speaker 3:

they're going to use is going to fail which is probably a really horrifying paradox to be in if you are you know uh part of this adversarial spirit and you are operational enough to understand the great big picture but it probably sucks a lot it brings me to that the idea that i want to get

01:05:42 - 01:06:24 | Speaker 2:

to again we're like an hour in i'm i'm making these excuses to keep this thing going this the earth and you know what we can do for our kids and the life that they'll have and somebody would argue other people argue and say well why do you want to exist on this plane anyway like satan owns this whole thing yeah and so you want to be here you want to you want to drag this out because this is kind of nice or this is just what you're used to and i'm like i don't i guess maybe that's what i'm used to and i don't want the suffering but we don't have our then i don't have my eye on eternity but the idea of satan owning this thing and it being it's going to be miserable de facto is is not a possibility then like what what would you what do you come here to talk about it yeah

01:06:25 - 01:09:18 | Speaker 1:

So we'll talk about that. Let me just address that one issue first. Like, what should we be doing? Well, Jesus gave us a great commission. We're going to go out and make disciples of all men. So what was supposed to happen? And God knew it wouldn't, but he has to give us the opportunity. What was supposed to happen is we were supposed to make disciples of all. And then we would push Satan all the way back. And God, you know, I don't want to get into, I don't hate using the word dispensations. People are like, dispensation is all this stuff's attached to it. But God deals with us differently in different eras. whenever someone says there's no such thing as dispensation and I will ask them okay well when was the last time you attempted to eat from the tree of the garden of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil well I wasn't oh well then you're not in the same thing so God's not dealing with you the same way he dealt with Adam and Eve he's dealing with you differently you're not under the law the ancient Israelites were under the law you're not under it so there are different eras in this era of the church what was supposed to happen is that we make disciples of all men the Holy Spirit lives in all of us and that is and we obey the Holy Spirit perfectly and that's how we could actually be what god wants us to be but it's you know god knew it wouldn't he again he knows our tendencies but he and he knew eventually would fail and that's how he that's why he has wrath reserved for you know for that but we have the chance we have we have that open opportunity to do this so what we should be doing is trying to make disciples of everyone it doesn't matter if if we think it's going to work in the long term that's not our job our job is to make disciples so get back getting back to what you were just saying i guess the main point oh i want to just say one more thing just on the prophecy side because for something we talked about before the show about um how god can prophesy and and without knowing everything it even even a prophecy a prophet the definition of prophecy is making predicting the effects based on the cause and so god can do that but the cause but the effects can change and the great example of that that i gave before the show was jonah yeah when god sent jonah to the ninevites what was his message his prophecy he said tell the ninevites in 40 days comes destruction that was a prophecy so you know we obviously joe jonah took a circular path to get to ninevah but what did he do he said he just walked through the streets prophesying in 40 days comes your destruction what did the ninevites do they had free will they say well god what if we and they made this god didn't say if you repent i'm to stop it he just said you're getting destroyed the ninebites on their own said well maybe if we repent you know god will have mercy on us so they repented as a whole nation and god had mercy on them so they didn't get destruction in 40 days does that mean god that i mean god lied when he said they were getting destruction in 40 days or did god or what were they going to be destroyed but then they're through their free will they changed that prophecy god wasn't lying god was going to destroy them in 40 days but they said through their free will we're going to repent and god honored that so that's just another example of that all right so this last point

01:09:18 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 1:

one that so let's go to does satan have authority over the earth legally no he does not but let's talk about why people believe that there are probably three main areas and i talked about two of them um in my in the q a i just put on patreon and someone um actually contacted me earlier today and pointed out one that i missed and he was right so i'm gonna talk about all three the first one is the idea that when adam sinned he gave his legal authority over the earth to satan and i was i grew up uh being taught this and believing it that god gave adam the sovereignty he adam and eve were the legal king and queen of the earth because they were image bearers they They bore the image of God.

01:10:00 - 01:10:48 | Speaker 3:

Creation obeyed Adam as if he was God, like the hand of the king in Game of Thrones. When Adam fell, he no longer bore the image of God. So he gave that up. He unintentionally gave that up. But that didn't transfer to Satan. There was no exchange of legal title. That didn't happen. But that's just an assumption that we have based on nothing. How do we know that Satan is not the legal owner of the earth? Because Satan doesn't bear the image of God. Satan is not an image bearer Only an image bearer of God Can have that legal authority Because that was the setup that God gave If you're an image bearer You have dominion over the earth Adam lost that when he sent Satan didn't become The serpent did not become an image bearer No, he didn't

by law 21 plus terms and conditions apply so who who has legal authority jesus why because when he died and rose again he said all power and heaven earth is given to me jesus is an image bearer so he had that legal authority so what's going on right now well he hasn't claimed the earth yet it's like you know when you buy a house it's an escrow you own it but you haven't claimed it yet you know yeah we're all you know property owners so you know that you buy a property as an escrow while some things are happening being things being worked out and then you own it later so right now the earth is an escrow so then the question is well why does satan have so much influence well well and who owns the earth now well again well jesus has legal ownership but before jesus the earth didn't have a legal owner if you look in revelation chapter four excuse me chapter five when god has that scroll that's still with seven seals that's a legal document that is the title deed to the earth that no one has claimed yet god's just holding it and that's what happened when adam gave it and of course jesus comes he's the lamb slain from the foundation of the world he takes it and he opens it and that's when revelation starts because that's basically jesus kidding kicking the squatters off of his property so he can claim it but right now the earth is the wild west and who has control in the wild west well whoever has the most guns whoever has the right whoever the biggest so i i gave i gave the analogy of like you know when i grew up in south central la rough area lived with my grandmother for for a few years there and there was a park across the street from my grandmother's house in the daytime we were playing the park but at night you had to leave because that's when the street gangs the Crips would come in and they would sell their drugs there. You didn't go there. No, they didn't own that park. That park was owned by the city. And when the police would come, the Crips would run. They were scattered like roaches. But if you tried to go on their territory, you'd get messed up. But they didn't own it. It's the same thing with Satan and the fallen angels. They don't own the earth, but we have given him the authority. The other verse that people use is when I think it's 2 Corinthians 4 four when paul refers to satan indirectly honestly because it doesn't say satan in the original translation it says the god of this world has blinded people so forth and so on so people say okay the god of this world that's implied to be satan so he well if he's the god of this world yes he's the god of this world because he is worshipped not because he has legal authority but he has the influence because we corporately have given him that influence we walk in his path not in the path of god most of the world walks in the path of yes he yeah it doesn't say same but that that's the implication so that's why so he doesn't have and how do we know this because paul knew that jesus had already died and rose again so why would paul say that satan has legal authority if say if paul knows that jesus has the authority he's just saying no he has the influential authority because we've given it to him but if we withdraw it corporately then he'd have no power satan does not have that power he only has the power that we give him this is something we talk

01:14:47 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 3:

about a lot in spiritual warfare right yeah this is the idea that he doesn't have any power that isn't legally given to him because of the things that you've because of your own iniquity that you've chosen to

01:15:00 - 01:17:39 | Speaker 1:

partaking what does book of james say submit to god resist the devil and he will flee from you right what kind of world ruler runs from you if you fight him yeah so if you're a christian you are more powerful than than satan himself because you have the holy spirit within you not because of your own power because of the spirit of god that lives within you that's so you're one average christian you me we're more powerful than satan he only has the power you give him through the covenants we were talking about before so the final piece that people use it which one of my members brought up is during the temptations of Jesus when that they're I think yeah the last temptation when when Satan says you know if you he takes him to a high mountain shows him all the kingdoms of the world and he says which by the way shows that Satan is extradimensional because he was able to show Jesus all the all them at once he they were in a spirit spirit realm realm during that time he says these are all mine and I can give them whoever i want if you bow down and worship me i'll give them to you and people say well that must be true because jesus didn't refute satan well two things to keep in mind number one satan is a liar the truth is not in him he is not capable of telling the truth and what did i say what the truth was earlier the truth is the truth the definition of truth is a right what a right fact with a right how and why with right context deception is a right fact with either no no how or why or the wrong how or why so what satan did was he he said these these worlds have all the nations have been given to me that's technically true in the sense that god put the put his 70 elohim his council over the nations in deuteronomy 32 but they all fell because they became worship because they got worshiped and somewhere along the lines i think we see this is why we have you know wars people battling back and forth because these other entities were trying to get other nations under them and at some point um satan became if there was like a battle royale he came out on top and he got the influence over the nations but it wasn't legal authority he just said so he wasn't telling the whole truth and secondly why didn't jesus refute him if that's if he was lying, because this is something we're going to talk about in our spiritual warfare, of course, probably next month. When you are in spiritual warfare, you don't have conversations with these entities. You don't get into arguments with them. Command them. You use the Bible and you make commands. Jesus never got into a conversation with these things. He always commanded them. So he's not going to say, well, no, say you don't really have to. No, that's not how you do spiritual warfare jesus just said he quoted the bible you will you know that um

01:17:39 - 01:18:08 | Speaker 2:

you should worship god and him only shall you serve so in in arguments especially if if you're dealing with somebody who is um trying to work their way into a position of victory and if they're being deceptive it's a game of inches right like everything that you say to them opens up another avenue for them to try to well what about this or what about that it's almost like you want to talk about the legality of it um well jesus don't talk to the cops jesus responds

01:18:08 - 01:18:18 | Speaker 3:

exactly that way exactly in in a physical sense like the cops when he's being questioned by pilot he's giving him a he's asking him questions and he goes well you said that and then he asked him

01:18:18 - 01:19:01 | Speaker 2:

some other questions he doesn't answer yeah it's like dealing with self-evident it's these these spiritual concepts always have some mirrored physical version in our reality and um in that instance it is very much like not talking to the police because yeah you know you're you're dealing with if we talked about the adversary right or satan or the accuser um it's like that's like getting into a conversation with uh a prosecutor yep you don't do it lawyer the lawyers know more they know the law better than you do yeah so it's like don't even don't even talk to him plead the fifth and don't even talk to him at all you know perfect yeah perfect analogy that's what we talk

01:19:01 - 01:19:47 | Speaker 1:

that's what we're teaching in the spiritual warfare classes how to do spiritual warfare the way jesus did because he's our model he did it perfectly how did he do it he did not converse with them because like you just said raven when you when you give them an inch if you start conversing with them think about this with like the covenants we make what if if uh if an oppressive spirit comes upon you and says you know you're you're never going to be you're never going to be rich you say well i i could be when have you ever been rich well you know um i've had money before yeah but you always lose it well okay but what if i did this yeah i don't ever work for you You can't win. They know more than you. Yeah. You don't. You cast them out. You say, I am, you know, I'm blessed and favored by God. You know, I can do all things to Christ who strengthens me, so forth and so on. But you don't get into a conversation because you're going to lose. They know the law better than you.

01:19:47 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

And that's exactly it. This is what Matt was talking about, where Satan says, is it not written? And then, you know, Jesus says, it is also written. And it's like, this is exactly what happens when you talk to a cop.

01:20:00 - 01:20:18 | Speaker 4:

And they go, well, actually, you just said that you were doing this. And you're like, but I but I also say I was doing some other shit. And unless you're unless you're Jesus, you know, and you're you're that good. Maybe it's best to, you know, shut your mouth and only speak directly. Get out of here.

01:20:19 - 01:20:22 | Speaker 5:

Fifth. Yeah, I'm going to call my lawyer and your lawyer. Your lawyer is Jesus.

01:20:24 - 01:20:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you shut the hell up because my wife and I be kind of we want my wife more than me. it's really into some of the cop shows and we love seeing like the cops are like really good interrogators and they know what to do. They, they know, they know this, this routine better than you have, better than you have done it hundreds of times. And they know how to trap you, how to say the right things. And you don't have a conversation. You say lawyer.

01:20:46 - 01:21:04 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And that's, that's really what, you know, when you talk about human nature or God knows our nature and certainly Satan knows our nature and he uses it against us. If you just let us talk, we'll we'll we'll shoot ourselves in the foot give us enough rope and we'll end up hanging ourselves right that's one of the things they always do in the cop shows is just like yeah

01:21:04 - 01:21:15 | Speaker 5:

just let them just let them learn as like with this show i guess and uh the shows that i've done previously where a lot of people i'll read in the chat sometimes i go top was real quiet this show

01:21:15 - 01:21:33 | Speaker 4:

and i'm like yep i'm just listening it's almost it's a smarter thing than what i do which is i can't shut the fuck up you give them to learn how to like there's no filter from here to here and and i've made a lot of mistakes in my youth some people like i'm not going to challenge people

01:21:33 - 01:22:10 | Speaker 5:

on the show but and i'm not going to with ed obviously as a friend so any any questions i have for you is always like i'm like i want to clarify but like some people have come on and i'm like you're feeding me a line of bullshit yeah okay uh talk and then when they talk i go what else yeah like quiet you keep talking you dig yeah and i'm gonna say and then at the end i'll be like all right well what happened you know what i mean it's it behooves me better to then than to like accuse you or uh even give you a rope like sometimes if like by speaking i'm i'm gonna give this person a rope to pull themselves out right well what are we really saying here

01:22:10 - 01:22:24 | Speaker 4:

my jewish well done well played laney with the banger absolutely though man it just it never ceases to amaze me the the legality of the spiritual realm and how it's so tony does that

01:22:24 - 01:22:44 | Speaker 5:

a lot too it's a brutal technique that i i kind of picked up just let him go and it's not i don't think merkel doesn't merkel doesn't do it to uh to necessarily interrogate because a lot of the times it's a it's an interview process but he does it because sometimes if if there's an absence of words, that next person's going to tell me more. Yeah. Well, what's the idea sometimes, especially

01:22:44 - 01:22:59 | Speaker 4:

in, in, um, business relations, the first one to talk is the first one who loses. It's like a conceding of ground. And so you, you put a thing out there and then whoever, whoever engages with that first, whoever gets so uncomfortable that they have to. So I'm going to give you a counter

01:22:59 - 01:23:54 | Speaker 3:

move to that as well. And this is something that John's an expert on this. We'll maybe we'll talk about it when he, when he's down here. Um, and that is because sometimes you aren't sure if the voice you're hearing is the voice of the holy spirit or if it's a voice of something else you know how do i discern and and i need to engage to see if this is really from god or not start asking questions because when you ask questions they're going that's another way they reveal themselves you talk about the cops the cops are just going to ask you questions and they're going to and they'll figure you out do the same thing when you're not sure which energy is talking to you ask questions if you're not getting an answer back because god will answer you god the holy spirit will answer you they want he wants to communicate with you he wants to fellowship with you so he will either he will answer you the the bad guys won't either either won't answer you or they'll ask or they'll show who they really are like you're getting from them so ask questions someone you hear like you shouldn't go there why shouldn't i go there

01:23:54 - 01:24:17 | Speaker 2:

01:24:55 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 3:

because blah blah blah well didn't ask another question that's like you know three or four questions. Okay.

01:25:00 - 01:25:11 | Speaker 2:

It's bad. Why is it bad? Well, because there's someone there who you shouldn't see. Who shouldn't I see? Just keep asking questions, and you'll eventually get to the actual purpose behind it. It's great, because you're never

01:25:11 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 1:

committing yourself either. Yeah, but on the flip side of that, I went through that with the Orthodox people. What's the guy, Jim Bob? Yeah, yeah, yeah. He was like, I'm aware of that technique. I do it sometimes, too. But I'm being earnest. I'm like, yo, what are you guys doing over here? You're charging for baptism? What is this? you know and he's asking me questions and i go all right here's an answer and then he asked me another question i go okay i see what you're doing yeah yeah what you're doing is you're you're trying to slip me up because you can use that in a way to get to truth or you can use that in a deceptive manner to do just do debate and what it is is you realizing like and then when you do that i'm like okay now i'm going to answer you in a way that you don't know how to deal with but it's it keeps you from ever having to put anything on the line right yeah you never have to put anything on the line

01:25:57 - 01:26:06 | Speaker 2:

you're not right but what you do is i when i when i've dealt with that and i have before i try to ask them clarifying questions i'll say okay what does that mean yeah yeah you know what

01:26:06 - 01:26:38 | Speaker 1:

okay then what is baptism then they ask you a question back and i go okay now i'm just going to pull your pants down yeah and they don't like that but i'm like okay okay so to the crowd if you're not tuned into what just happened here i look like an asshole but if you know the techniques i go no no no this guy is not dealing earnestly in a conversation so what i did was just i just took the floor out from there and we're both falling now and it's like okay yeah i'm comfortable falling yeah are you comfortable and they panic they get mad i'm like exactly yeah so just as an

01:26:38 - 01:26:49 | Speaker 2:

aside i had some one of the orthodox people call because i made a few little quips about the orthodox folks on the show and one of them like reached out to me and he was like well you know the early church fathers they're the ones that knew how to do church and they're all great people

01:26:49 - 01:26:54 | Speaker 1:

they're great they're great people too i love so many of these people but like it gets frustrating

01:26:54 - 01:28:00 | Speaker 2:

i just want to say that you know what he said to me is you know the ortho the church fathers who were around two three hundred years before after you know christ they're the ones who knew i said okay well so you're so what you're telling me is that people who were closer to the time of christ know how to do church better and we should follow them great um when did paul write his letter to the churches at corinth yep oh 20 years afterwards what were those letters about they were screwing up they were saying that people who spoke in tongues were better than other christians who didn't speak in tongues the people the church at the galatians they were trying to get up people back under the law the church at rome they were teaching replacement theology you had to that's why you had to write romans chapters 9 10 and 11 so if you're telling me that 20 years 20 to 30 years after jesus was here the churches were screwing up to the point where a third of the new testament is paul telling them you guys are screwing up here's how you get it right why do believe that church fathers two three four hundred years later got it right uh so yeah then you see that what their agenda is your agenda is you want to follow men over god and an interesting thing

01:28:00 - 01:28:57 | Speaker 1:

there too is uh one of the things that the pastor at the church well i think it's the music pastor at the church is bringing up yesterday was about uh acts i think chapter one where they're referring to the 120 in uh that that come to meet and they don't refer to them as people they refer to them as names mason you gotta leave get out of here mason get out of here no i don't thank you for opening the doors mason they refer to them as names which means that they uh are familiar with these people and this is the original church these 120 people whoever they're talking to i think this is like right when they're going to the upper room they know them not whatever is happening after like the the churches that are the first church was like they don't they knew they knew peter they knew i don't know these guys whoever these were the the church that they're writing the letters to a couple years later they knew them well these are the churches that's what it looked like and they all still messed up anyway yeah they still did i mean the the only only like

01:28:57 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 2:

the first part of acts do we have the church doing what it was supposed to do and that's why you had miracles happening but again within within 20 years it may be even less but i'm just being generous but within 20 years the church was like they were screwing up and paul had to come back I was just here, I gave you guys the gospel message And now I've got to write you letters Because you're already going back to the old ways Trying to make it about you And I'm making it about Jesus So yeah, again, that's just my thing on orthodoxy So I think the other thing I just wanted to talk about a few things About Satan He's not the legal owner He is the Elohim of this age The God of this age because he's being worshipped But I think I said before that he is not he was not the entity that was in the book of job that the hasatan again job title we don't here's the thing that's really interesting we don't know the name of the entity we call satan we know titles god never gives us his name go to back to the garden of eden the nakash you know which is translated serpent it means

01:30:00 - 01:31:35 | Speaker 4:

the shining one that's the title lucifer isn't a name lucifer is just the latin of halal ben shakar yeah halal ben shakar is a hebrew means light bearer son of the first light that's what he's called halal is is lucifer it just means light bearer it's not a name it's a title devil accuser not a name it's a title we even dragon again so we aren't given his name so why aren't we given the name of this entity this is something we talk about we're going to talk about in our spiritual work for a class because names imply covenant god did not give his covenant name yahweh y-h-w-h yehovah jehovah whatever you want to however you want to pronounce it until the israelites were in the were coming out of the exodus he gave it to moses he said specifically no one knew my name before now abraham didn't noah didn't yeah they didn't know his name so something about having a name implies a covenant and i think that the reason god doesn't give the names of any of these bad angels. I mean, you have some of them in the pseudepigraphy book of Enoch, but in the Bible, the only names we're given are Michael and Gabriel, but they're good angels. I think that having a name is a two-way covenant. And even Satan does not want to give his name out because he doesn't want to be in covenant. It's a really interesting thing that we can maybe talk about in another show because I'm still working through that. But now some of the demons, we can get names. Jesus asked the demon his name, Legion, and that's when Jesus was able to cast it out. So there's something about the different hierarchy of the demons because they're the disembodied spirit of Nephilim. But these angels, we don't know their names.

01:31:36 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 5:

And is this so partly could be a strategic move on their behalf because there is some level of authority granted to you if you can call it by name. Yeah. And if these are the the higher, you know, in the in the ranks of the adversary, things that are in alignment with the spirit of Satan, you know, to be able to cast out a lower level demon, not great for the demon, but obviously something that could be done if you're if you are in alignment with Jesus Christ. it would be massively uh you know to their disadvantage to know the names of the i mean it's almost the same thing right if you if you knew the names of the generals or the location of the generals in a in a foreign army well then to hit them there would be uh destabilizing to the entire uh regime as it were right so uh there's a lot of strategic advantages to keeping that obscured from us.

01:33:38 - 01:33:52 | Speaker 4:

two ways i think the fallen angels don't want us to know their names because they don't want us to as you just said have that understand their their locality and also on the other side god i think god knows that we couldn't handle it we're not equipped for it and also we would worship them

01:33:52 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 5:

more than we already do yeah yeah that's interesting that's interesting yeah because solomon if you if you believe in the solomonistic magic and the sigils and everything i think probably in order to create the sigils that are going to you know allegedly trap the demons and have them do your bidding you would need their names in order to do that might be their name right could be their names right or something similar or something similar because we're given

01:34:16 - 01:34:51 | Speaker 4:

a lot of names of entities i don't think those are real names like you know like like dagon like molek like you know beelzebub sure i don't i think that you know i think a lot of them are the same person i think because you know you have um baal is a storm god zeus is also the storm baal is a storm god of the canaanites i believe or what's the phoenicians um one of the two and then zeus was this was the storm god of of the of the greeks and odin or thor was the storm god in the north mythology so you have storm it's the same entity different names yeah but i don't think it's their true given name they're the names that they were given when they were created by god

01:34:51 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 5:

those ones i think we've uh we've traced back to azazel possibly well i know because of this

01:34:56 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 4:

yeah it's another name that was given there but that's but then the question is

01:35:00 - 01:35:05 | Speaker 3:

that a name or another there's a back and forth that's a web that's an actual name and it actually

01:35:05 - 01:35:18 | Speaker 1:

layers and layers it's interesting too because jesus has this proclivity to uh rename people too yeah like it'll just give you a nickname and it's kind of like yeah yeah yeah yeah it's

01:35:18 - 01:35:46 | Speaker 2:

is that like a cover or it does make a lot of sense though this uh obfuscation of the name considering if you observe them if you do believe that like bal hadad the sumerian storm god is the same entity as as zeus and and so on and so forth well there's an obfuscation constantly a changing of the name and that's that's actually pretty consistent with what we've kind of determined about the entire phenomenon and even as it applies to aliens i renames i'm sorry rebranding rebranding

01:35:46 - 01:35:57 | Speaker 1:

yeah but it's it's it's done on the other side as well right it's it's there's a rebranding that we look at we're always looking at the dark yeah the dark abram goes to abraham sarah was well

01:35:57 - 01:36:13 | Speaker 3:

what happened yeah what they did well with abraham and sarah what god actually added a breath ha the holy spirit so abram becomes oh that's interesting their eye sarah becomes sarah so he added the breath of the holy spirit to to them so in those particular cases um that's

01:36:13 - 01:36:16 | Speaker 2:

interesting because i wondered about that i was like that's barely a variation in spelling but

01:36:16 - 01:36:20 | Speaker 3:

it's also your nature go ahead i'm sorry top go ahead it from soul to paul i mean i understand

01:36:20 - 01:36:26 | Speaker 1:

you're a new person but you're given a different name and it's just like yeah they do that in

01:36:26 - 01:36:31 | Speaker 2:

catholicism when you when you make your uh communion orthodox yeah they give you a name

01:36:31 - 01:36:45 | Speaker 3:

of a saint as well yeah yeah the popes are all you know that's not their you know the pope leo he's a current one yeah his name isn't leo the pope francis his name was was like uh rodrigo or something or other or something like that so yeah so they take on the names say again

01:36:45 - 01:36:48 | Speaker 1:

no i was just saying it's interesting yeah interesting how that here's something it's

01:36:48 - 01:38:05 | Speaker 3:

also interesting that if you i think i think it's in the the letter to the church of philadelphia um where god says that you know he's going to give them a new name that no one else knows so we so so we the church we're going to end up so my ed raven top our name these aren't our names we're going to be given our true name and what is the true name is your true nature that's what it's all about like perhaps the jesus name in in um in hebrew is jehoshua which means jehovah is salvation that's his nature that's why he had that name jehoshua so we're going to be given a name that no one knows but us because it is our nature that god knows who he so so he's when we get to heaven or to new jerusalem which will heaven first in neutralism after we're going to be i think maybe the first thing he does is say this is who you are this is your name and i'm going to give it to you no one knows it but you your name is my name is already asshole well you know jacob in israel jacob means you know it means he'll catcher means usurper but he changed his name to israel which means the prince or one who can who contends with god but notice that he goes back and forth whenever jacob is acting like a fool he's he's back to being jacob but when he's being a prince before god then he's israel oh that's interesting so um

01:38:05 - 01:38:11 | Speaker 2:

somebody in the chat john mcclure said in terms of frequency and vibration a name is specific as

01:38:11 - 01:38:33 | Speaker 1:

such i think that too this is like when we were naming uh our both of our kids um we named him on my son oliver and i was thinking about what do i like when people see this name on a resume if resumes exist still yeah i don't want them to look at it and go because i've done that i've done that with some resumes i'm like this guy's name is correct i do know yeah like you want it wrong

01:38:33 - 01:38:39 | Speaker 3:

yeah it's very much the thing in my community i'm not gonna name my son you know my lakisha or i'm

01:38:39 - 01:38:50 | Speaker 1:

not gonna name him you know yeah i came across a name called la dasha it's a love dash like the symbol dash and then a and i'm like i simply cannot do this and when you're dealing with so

01:38:50 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 2:

many resumes to go with john whatever that yeah you guys ever watch if you ever watch you know

01:38:55 - 01:38:59 | Speaker 3:

key and peel one of their famous skits is like when they were like doing football player names

01:38:59 - 01:39:12 | Speaker 1:

in college they had all these crazy names it's hilarious but that's that's about the path that you're going to get with uh like loquacious johnson or something like that yeah yeah i think that's what he said right you better be a good defensive end or something yeah yeah what was it

01:39:12 - 01:39:24 | Speaker 3:

it was the brickashaw ferguson yeah he called a pill and said dude that's an actual name and that's how they that's how they came up with this kid like the brickashaw ferguson are you kidding

01:39:24 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 1:

me so that's so funny dude the brickashaw mookie wilson is a baseball player somebody named their kid and this is crazy too another baseball player they named him milton bradley yeah after like not if you named your kid before that it would have been okay you'd be okay oh you got a kid and your last name is muhammad and you name him muhammad guys what are we doing yeah dude there's a baseball player named coco crisp coco crisp come on good baseball player that's probably the only life choice he had so when i named my kids i was like i just want to set them up where especially when people say their name, they say Oliver. It sounds a sh-

01:40:00 - 01:40:09 | Speaker 2:

long it sounds dominant you see layla layla means it's it's an arabic name it means means dark beauty that's a pretty name yeah yeah and and i just want like like when they say that name give

01:40:09 - 01:40:14 | Speaker 1:

them as much chance as possible yeah don't relegate them to only being able to be like a hairdresser

01:40:14 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 2:

or yeah i was driving the other day and all of a sudden i i said a word i said reservation and my wife goes uh reservation reservation that sounds like a name reservation you know to somebody in like alabama a hundred percent a hundred percent there is that you know you know a girl named mercedes is like keep her off the pole oh mercedes or nikki yep yep yep yep anything named after a car tersel don't name that yeah don't name your kid you know somebody named tersel yes tersel's not even a good car lexus is a good car oh my god yeah didn't work what if we're screwed what if we already we just like pop the top on our second names and god's like yeah it was going to be top lobster dude can't get a third one can't get a third one

01:41:08 - 01:41:14 | Speaker 1:

well it does say he'll give you a new name so yeah yeah okay good good we'll get a new one maybe be

01:41:14 - 01:41:30 | Speaker 2:

crow into the raven i don't know probably it means the same thing my last name is corvo which it is it's like italian in spain corvo which is corvid which is you know you stupid bird dude Um, man. All right. All right. So, so, uh, we're, we're bringing it in for, is there anything else

01:41:30 - 01:42:03 | Speaker 1:

you want to hit before we do that? Uh, no, I mean, like I said, I just wanted to, what I really want to do, my purpose in this was, um, just to, to get people to understand that Satan is not more powerful than you. Don't give him more credit than he deserves or any of the, these fallen entities you have the, as a Christian, you have the authority over him. Walk in that authority. You know, he's, he's not, Satan's not omnipresent. He's not all powerful. All he can do is deceive. and you need to understand that deception and just fight against it and know that he is a liar. He won't ever tell you the truth. So we can wrap up with that.

01:42:04 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 2:

You know, one of these days I'll find the verse. I became aware of it. Maybe I'm misremembering it. You've got good names thinking about it. David and Daniel. Yeah, I mean, I'm pumped about it. I like my name. What does Edward mean? I don't know.

01:42:18 - 01:42:38 | Speaker 1:
