"Secret Mysteries of America's Beginnings" presents a sweeping theory that America's founding wasn't just influenced by Freemasonry, it was the fulfillment of an ancient occult plan. The film traces connections from John Dee (the original 007) through Francis Bacon's Rosicrucian leadership to Benjamin Franklin's spy networks and George Washington's Masonic ceremonies. While the documentary makes bold claims about ley lines connecting major cities and secret ciphers hidden in Shakespeare's works, it's packed with original research, historical reenactments, and genuinely fascinating deep dives into early American conspiracy lore that most people have never heard before.

masons are evil except for ben franklin the literal satan worshiping orgy master that had the bot like the bones of children found under his house right he was one of the good ones

share the show and today we're going to figure out why masons are bad except for some of them but most of them except for like the of these one four guys but it's going to get a little bit complicated it's going to get a little bit long this is probably on par with money masters level documentary this one alone i think was just shy at three hours and it's one part of a three-part series and i'm sure that it's essentially going to be about 10 hours worth of video but about 40 hours worth of research so i guess let's dive into this one it's called secret mysteries of america's beginnings volume one which is also a pretty damn uh long name and then there's more to it the new atlantis so this came in 2006 it was directed by a guy named christian j pinto and if If you look into his other body of work, it's actually, it looks like things that we would find interesting outside of even this one little trilogy series. So he's a founder of a thing called Adullam Films, which is a Christian film ministry that's dedicated to, quote, defending the gospel of Jesus Christ through film and video production. The thing is an interesting ministry. It's like an AV nerd ministry. And he's also a host of a podcast called Noise of Thunder. and he's got a huge backlog ancient illuminati um riddles and stone another secret mysteries harry potter a spirit conspiracy uh the secret mysteries of the lamp in the dark and the untold history of the bible hidden faith of the founding fathers so you can see that there's a theme going on with this it's like early american conspiracy lore which is a million percent

00:04:07 - 00:04:18 | Speaker 1:

like right up my angle it reminded me of like just watching this film of like this is what history channel would be if they could say whatever they want right and if they were

00:04:18 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 3:

funded by like a christian ministry essentially plot in the course i'm actually gonna lean a little bit on the video's own description because it makes a lot of promises and we actually get into all these things it's unbelievable how many topics of that so this is the video's own description for plotting the course you will understand why bush ordered the invasion of afghanistan and iraq in the president's own words uh with a historic link back to 1580 you're gonna go back 425 years to the origin

00:05:00 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 1:

of america with francis bacon and queen elizabeth you're going to learn behind the scenes oddities of why washington dc is located precisely on the 77th meridian why the original five colonial cities are built in precise alignment with each other and with stonehenge on ley lines uh whether america was founded as a christian nation or if it's based in pagan traditions how ben franklin fulfilled his duties to both the british freemasons and to the americans without being a turncoat for one or the other uh and why did the british intelligence give franklin a code name moses along with maybe shakespeare didn't know how to write his own name and many many more so it's like a greatest hits of ancient like american early history and right up front i just want to note that this entire documentary is based mostly on a book by manly palmer hall that was called uh the secret destiny of america i believe and then that itself was a book written about francis bacon's at new atlantis so in order to really understand all the context of this documentary those are the two different books that it's sort of uh sourcing that said you don't have to read either of those books i don't think you can watch this documentary and get a pretty good understanding so i actually have read manly palmer hall's uh secret destiny of america but have you read either of the books that they mention in this i have not i you're a layman right you're a straight man layman so

00:06:32 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 2:

yeah i just go in and i had never even seen this documentary so i'm like i'm like i don't know much of this i've heard little bits and pieces of what's inside this documentary but i've never watched this all together or reading the book so it was all pretty fascinating to me okay i'm gonna

00:06:48 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 1:

do my absolute best to summarize this in like small chunks just so i'm not talking non-stop here because this is this is a documentary worth discussing so i mentioned it's it's based on manly palmer hall's book and francis bacon's book and the the overline of where this documentary takes it is that they say this that the original book of francis bacon inspires ben franklin and that this connection between ben franklin and francis bacon involves the book of enoch involves kabbalah it involves john d the original 007 and then d directly influences bacon and then through bacon who is running uh freemasonry and rosicrucianism that through the rosicrucian arm he becomes this inspiration for modern day alchemy and talking to angels and Enochian magic and all of like this new age theory. And then through him running Freemasonry gives him direct influence over George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and ultimately the founding and direction of America as a whole. So that that's, that's the main claim is that Francis Bacon, John D and then America.

00:08:01 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 2:

And that they're starting, right? Like the main theme to me that I've seen throughout the film, was obviously in the title that they're discovering the new Atlantis right like that was like their like theme throughout the film that they keep bringing up like hey this is the new Atlantis right and also I found it funny like that what you said it kind of in the in the beginning intro of where it's like the good masons versus the bad masons right like throughout this film too they're like well yeah he was a mason too but he's uh they weren't friends like you know what I mean and you're like oh okay so it's just human beings that don't get along sometimes well we're definitely

00:08:35 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

going to get into all that like that's one of my favorite dynamics of this documentary is you can't quite tell exactly where they stand on any of these people like for example george washington they talk about him with reverence like man this guy found in america he fought back against the british the ultimate rebel um freemason but for the last 30 years he like didn't show up to lodge very often he only went like a few times so they're like and i guess to read between the lines they're saying like so he was like one of the good ones like he wasn't out there you know killing people and and eating people or something and like these dark rituals so that it's it's funny to see them dance around because then they'll do that with benjamin franklin they'll do it with a whole bunch of different people so the i guess to break down the atlantis thing much respect to this documentary because whenever they mention something they do go into pretty much deep detail so that you understand exactly where the sources of their claims come from aside from some of the claims against freemasonry but it starts basically with plato and they're talking about this concept where he was in greece and greece is in turmoil and they send this guy's salon to egypt to get answers from these great priests and the old priests basically laughed at him and they were telling him like you guys think that you're so far advanced and

00:10:00 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 4:

in greece but you're just children compared to atlantis and then he goes on to describe how atlantis was this far more advanced civilization that basically fell but that they had technology and knowledge and things that dwarfed even what greece thought they had in modern times so when you talk about new atlantis you're also talking about not just the specific place that plato brought up but the concept that no matter how far advanced we think our technology and civilization is that there was something before us that was even way more advanced and they fell or left or

00:10:35 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 1:

something right they mysteriously disappeared and whatever they mean by advanced right i always think that's a a key word like what do you mean by advanced like did they have the similar technology like i've always looked at it as like okay their technology of their time was suitable for what they were doing but i do understand the concept because it seems like there's a portion of the world that thinks that there's this ancient society that's way smarter than all of us but then on the other turn there's people that are like we're way smarter than those dumb cavemen and it's like i feel like we're all like on that same level but yeah i think that the idea it's chasing the new atlantis is almost like chasing the armageddon right it's a little bit different but it's the same thing that humans seem to be always chasing this magical place like i'm going to heaven or new atlantis i'm creating i'm better i'm smarter i'm more technological or that there

00:11:24 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 4:

was a society that was i think another way that i tend to think about this is that the version that we have right now of what technology means and how far advanced we are collectively it's just a series of business decisions like the dumbest version would be vhs and betamax right well the world went with vhs and then a million of those different decisions that we go with ac or dc electric well we went with ac because they took out uh tesla's financiers and they sunk them on the titanic we'll get into that at some other point but but all of what we've got now in terms of technology it's just this company beat out this company so is it that hard to believe that sometime in history that same thing kind of played itself out to where people had electricity and running water and plumbing and like any kind of modern convenience you can think of just maybe in a different way maybe they went with you know beta tapes and maybe they went with dc electric or just you would extrapolate that to something that's completely unfamiliar to us so i don't think it's that crazy even the premise of like the pyramids when we were watching some of the other like alien documentaries that some of the engineering techniques and the masonry techniques are kind of outside of our grasp currently even if you had the resources it just wouldn't be feasible in any possible way so it doesn't seem that crazy that the concept of an atlantis just meaning whatever we think we got someone else had something better at some earlier point and they

00:12:54 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 1:

lost it and also like uh for when you go back to masonry or even like like the 16th chapel and so like people are like oh we can't do you're like yeah that guy also had like 18 hours a day to six months eight months a couple years to just do that one thing most people nowadays are doing multiple things like you're not just dedicating like your whole life to like i'm painting this chapel or i'm building this pyramid i think you get more uh ingenuity like when you're kind of like building something and you're doing it every day compared to like oh i'm clocking out of work now i'm gonna go do this podcast thing now i'm gonna go do you know like these other multiple things that we're doing you're focused on one thing i think it helps and it makes you create

00:13:35 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 4:

better technology and plus if you're getting funded by the king and the church as like your clients yeah they might have a little bit more money and resources uh than just like some random projects so okay i'm not gonna start doing like a little i wish we could have a counter in fact make sure you like and subscribe and do all the things right now so that if we get popular enough we can do fun things like have a little real-time counter but imagine there's one in like the bottom

So here's the first kind of flip flop on masonry this movie does is they seem to hold Manley Palmer Hall in high reverence. I don't I don't hear him say a single negative thing about Manley Palmer Hall at any point because he's ultimately the source for a lot of this interpretation of then Francis Bacon's work. Um, so they mentioned that Manley Palmer Hall said that Atlantis extended throughout the entire world, like a commonwealth. So, I mean, if you're familiar with the concept of Tartaria, it's like that, like Tartaria is just another version of Atlantis in many different ways. So if you, if you believe in Tartarian theory, you already believe in Atlantean theory without realizing it. And that Manley Palmer Hall wrote over 200 books, 8,000 lecturers, and that Scottish Rite called him masonry's greatest philosopher. so there's a lot of hate of manly palmer hall and some little masonic pockets i think especially in the european masonry but here's one the little tally that goes up of like here's one of the good ones right because we're gonna hear about like bad masons and good masons so i guess manly palmer hall gets a pass because they don't really have anything negative to say about them all right here's another fun thing is that not only do we get bill still in this documentary the guy from money masters as soon as he showed up it was like okay i know that we're we're gonna be in for taking some serious notes but this is gonna be well worth the watch um but also you i don't know if you noticed this did you recognize the older dude with like the beard and the glasses Did he look familiar in any way? Or is he just like another talking head?

00:16:46 - 00:16:48 | Speaker 2:

He looks a little bit familiar, but I don't really know who he is.

00:16:48 - 00:18:11 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So another person that is kind of acting as a subject matter expert, they're called Smee's in the industry. So one of the Smee's, he's this guy named William Schnobelin. I'm probably butchering that. But William Schnobelin came out in the 1980s or so and basically said that he had made it to some high-level Illuminati Freemasonry degree, and they told him it was all about Satanic worship and Luciferianism, and he exited Freemasonry and kind of became an exposer, right? But it was very sensational. It was like ex-Satanist, you know, discloses all secrets of Masonry about how they're evil and doing blood ritual in the 80s, right? This isn't internet culture, so this guy's been doing this. He's kind of been on the circuit, and i've seen him on a lot of like prophecy club and 700 club and all these different things um so but it's interesting that he's in here because usually he's leaning into like i was in a satanic you know illuminati cult for my entire life that's usually his shtick in here he just seems like some old librarian that happens to know a little bit about washington dc and and a little bit about masonry right so just it kind of just like set a little because when i first saw this i don't think that i had recognized him as easily because i saw this when it came out back

00:18:11 - 00:18:23 | Speaker 2:

in 2006 but now you're like yeah because i didn't realize that at all and he is very subtle about it and he's one of the guys kind of going well he's pretty good like that one's okay like that's what

00:18:23 - 00:18:48 | Speaker 1:

shocked me so much man because i've because i've seen the things that he says about masonry being all these useful idiots but it's really hard now to leverage that and be like in ben franklin and george washington they were idiots too they didn't realize what was going on but they also founded this country and they also operated in all these intricate spy rings and they they were smart guys but maybe they were duped or maybe they were just good it's it's hard to figure out

00:18:48 - 00:19:22 | Speaker 2:

where they're trying to pin this yeah and uh this a little take on the benjamin franklin i liked how they like they're like and benjamin franklin loved whores he was a originator of only fans and they're like but he's a good guy like if you they all called him moses uh like the shift between some of this stuff kind of like was comical to me because they were like like i think they're like going hard on benjamin franklin and they're like no but you know he kind of freed the people and he did a lot for america so give him his respect i i like the the sort of hypocritical

00:19:22 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 1:

nature of some of the claims in this i don't know i think it it adds to it doesn't remove from it So the other main point that they lead into is they talk about how the movie National Treasure with Nicolas Cage was essentially a propaganda piece for Freemasonry. And I just want to say wholeheartedly agreed. And all of Freemasons also agree with that. That's not a secret conspiracy. Masons, I think, as a whole, love that movie. And they talk about it being like one of the better recruitment tools. They actually saw a tiny spike, but they saw a spike in interest in members.

00:20:00 - 00:20:35 | Speaker 2:

when that movie came out because now all of a sudden people are like i can find gold and treasure so they got they got intrigued so yeah 100 but uh personally i don't i don't know if freemasonry has the money or the funds uh at the time in the 21st century to be like now let's make a multi-million dollar blockbuster movie you know i think that uh it's a fun topic and they lean into it and they support it and they want that movie to exist and they love that it exists but i can't see masons coming together and making anything that entertaining so you're telling me that masons

00:20:35 - 00:21:20 | Speaker 1:

don't have enough money they keep upping their dues you know what i mean they're gonna get it man and they're putting i don't know if you know the masons have like their little corner in hollywood man but no i agree with you that it's kind of obvious about the national treasure it wasn't like a hidden secret and then of course you're gonna get a little spike like but it's not like everybody that's more the people that go oh i need some toothpaste or you see a commercial chipotle sounds good like not there's not a large number of people that are like you know what now i'm gonna go in the masonry from what nicholas cage convinced me and like there's a few i guarantee you sure a few but i'm saying like the the leap of being like date that just opened the doors like to mainstream masonry and you're like yeah but not a few but not like enough to make

00:21:20 - 00:23:48 | Speaker 2:

significance i don't think not yeah i don't think it's enough to be significant and the reason why this documentary they're the ones that bring it up not me right they're the ones that go hard at national treasure and they kind of end it with and this is a bad thing it's a bad thing that national treasure is pro-mason because it misleads about the benign nature of freemasonry it makes you think that it's good and it's it's hiding what they've really been guarding for the last 3 000 years and then it kind of goes into the next segment i just want to say like i don't know man the 3 000 years claim right off the bat like flags are going up but we'll get to that so this is where they get into the ley lines and stuff um and if you're not familiar with ley lines they're these powerful theoretical circles of power and i guess the an example an easy example would be the equator right like we know that there's an exact equator i guess even if you're in flat earth does equator let's for let's ignore flat earth just for the the simplicity of this so if you live on the equator you know a specific area and it has properties like it's hotter certain times of the year and it goes through different weather patterns um so that's an obvious version of what you might call a ley line but then there's a lot of other ones that aren't necessarily in exact spots and that these ley lines are identified by different locations different cities or historical sites and then if you plot them out on a map and then draw lines through them then certain ones that have like x number of important places that's considered a ley line and then people trace that so where they're finding important things in europe they're also finding important things in like california or nevada or something that also happen to be on these like linear lines that um go around the globe so that's the premise of the ley line and they start leaning into how boston new york baltimore washington dc philadelphia and i mentioned the intro stonehenge they throw a few other ones in there and they say that these are all basically on this ley line that they're all directly aligned with each other so that's an interesting claim that they start to make although they don't really go into and here's why that matters or here's what ley lines specifically do it's more about the founders of these cities specifically in the u.s knew and and were intentionally putting all of these cities

00:23:48 - 00:24:20 | Speaker 1:

in direct alignment with each other i felt like the purpose of it was to like give the mystique to the masons and like you know these 3 000 years of knowledge that you don't understand they knew and they were connecting it to stonehenge that's how i kind of grasped it through watching it where they're like because they didn't go to detail on it but they kind of were like see if they knew this then they know it's almost like they're and not intentionally maybe maybe it's a subconscious thing but it's kind of like giving you the mystique of the masons that they've been around for so long that there's stuff you don't know that they know about but we're

00:24:20 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 2:

not going to tell you and so when this movie came out 2006 it wouldn't have been impossible but it it was been actually would have been very possible it would have been a little bit of a pain in the ass to actually figure out if any of that's true if these cities are in alignment 2026 we got tools and we can like triple check claims so just to just to throw this out there now if you were to draw a direct line on a map with like a felt tip pen yeah 100 you can draw a straight line and it swallows up all those cities but if you actually calculate the the real path between all these new york city is a little over three miles off that path philadelphia would deviate by like half a mile

00:24:59 - 00:25:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

00:25:00 - 00:25:28 | Speaker 1:

and then baltimore would deviate by over eight miles so it's not it's not exact it's so if the claim is that a ley line has to be on a certain like latitude longitude angle or something then technically these cities don't really line up directly it would have to be kind of like a squiggle right it wouldn't be a ley line it would be like a lace wiggle so uh just just to throw out that some of the claims here are maybe a little bit off.

00:25:29 - 00:25:35 | Speaker 3:

Maybe it's like those S's, you know, those popular S's that people talked about that they drew in like, maybe it's just one of those.

00:26:37 - 00:28:05 | Speaker 1:

So, and then from this point on too, I don't know, it's hard to pin this and it makes more sense knowing the background of the director that he has a Christian ministry that preaches through video editing. That's like literally what his ministry is about. so you keep getting these weird little like oppositions where they frame it as maybe this whole thing is about free masons versus christians um and and now we need to figure out who are the real christians like who the good masons who the bad masons who are the good christians who are the bad christians and the the documentary doesn't hit you over the head with that but it clearly states it a few times and you can feel that guiding it just a little bit uh and my my note is when i realized that that's what they were doing i was thinking like really it's just those two like you're not even going to mention any of the other conspiracy group you're not going to mention neocons or jesuits or illuminati or anything it's just freemasons versus christians and then i'm wondering like well what denomination are we talking because usually when someone says christian and they're using it as a purity test they don't mean all 40 000 denominations they mean like one or three or five at max right and they don't they don't clearly state any of that although i'm gonna assume it's it's uh protestantism because that comes up a little bit later in this documentary too so that they they kind of answer it but they don't tell you if you're a good or a bad christian but the answer is you got to be a protestant to be a good christian

00:28:05 - 00:28:25 | Speaker 3:

from what i gleam from this documentary i got the same thing man protestant like again it doesn't come out and say but i got the same feel like i've been in those circles who were like you're that kind of that's what's funny too is there's these intersections of where even in freemasonry christianity any religion fill the blank it's like dude there's like multitudes of people that are

00:28:25 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 1:

like oh you're that kind of mason like you know oh bro inside masonry there are some masons and i mean this is not like a broad brush but if like let's say you're in york right masonry you might see a shriner go by and you're like shriners you know what i mean it's like they they joined for all the wrong reasons man they're just here to socialize and get drunk and like and we're here for noble reasons you know what i mean it's like the same thing but then you got shriners and they're like uh look at those asshole freaking york writers over there you know what i mean like the little factions and you can be in both of those groups so it's not like you have to join one and excludes the other but there's definitely like a like archetypes of people that gravitate to certain things so yeah the claim of the whole we're all like uh coordinated and it's all like cohesion is a like it would be great if that were the case because then maybe masons would be running the world again and then this show would be doing great okay so speaking of masons and not running the world anymore then they shift focus to one of the most important and interesting facts in american history that i it blows my mind this is not taught in schools it absolutely blows my mind and that's the captain william morgan affair so this is a guy that tried to join freemasonry and then got on the out somehow and then said that he was going to write an expose about all their secrets their secret handshakes their code words all their oaths everything he was going to publish it and this is a fairly new threat that you could

00:30:00 - 00:31:11 | Speaker 2:

make against Freemasonry because printing press hadn't really been accessible to normal people up until like that century or so maybe like a century before and this guy actually did know the recent stuff and there had been exposes before but this was just like one more thing that the Masons are like oh my god we can't let another person get away with spilling all the secrets especially if he's doing it like antagonistically so he gets murked the Masons kill this guy allegedly but i think it's it's true um they killed this guy william morgan it turns into the morgan affair and this sparks probably the biggest drop-off in masonic membership in american history and it hasn't really recovered from this it gave birth to anti-masonic political party the first third party um in american history before that we only had two parties and then the anti masonic party eventually morphs into the modern day republican party so you don't have the modern day republican party without the anti mason party and you don't have the anti mason party without william morgan getting himself murked by masons uh in 1826

00:31:11 - 00:32:15 | Speaker 1:

and i think this is what really shows you light of how the world works because people get you get bad publicity right and now people are like oh i don't want to join that and and that stop focusing on one group running everything right at some points like hey illuminati people or skull and bones people or freemason people that i'm i'm in the whole secret society and occultic things do exist and that they do have power and they attract certain people that also get into power but i think this film dissects and shows you if you look at through the critical lens that not everybody inside each group is doing this there's infighting there's people trying to be in power themselves it's not like a cohesive group that like we're gonna take over the world and this is how we're gonna do it it's like no man one event happens people think they're getting exposed now the bad publicity goes okay we're not joining this and now you get this black eye of the freemasons are the only thing that's bad the democrats are the only thing that's bad and then fill in the blank after

I think the easiest way to describe the dynamic of masonry, especially in that time, it's more like police in general, right? Like the cops in your area, wherever you're at, they have power to do horrible things and get away with it. And that's not going to go away. Like that's part of like their license of power. A little bit like with masons, except masons can't just pull up and put a gun in your face. in the middle of the you know broad daylight but they could potentially if we're talking 1800s they could potentially make your life incredibly difficult you're not going to get a job you're going to have to move out of town and hope that your reputation doesn't follow you especially if you like cross them some way just like if you piss off a cop in a certain county like you might want to move from that county because he can sick all of his other cops on you and just make your life unbearable right but it's not that every single cop somehow talks to every other cop in the entire country some corrupt cop in miami is not calling the shots on like another cop that's in you know like like podunk idaho or whatever i mean it's potentially possible that they could be doing this but it's highly unlikely and i think it's a very similar dynamic and masonry with the caveat that since Masons do operate in secret and have secret codes and all this, that it's really hard to differentiate. Although at the same time, cops are supposed to be public servants. They're supposed to keep public records, but that doesn't mean that they just don't file something or don't record an interaction or whatever. So I think it's the easiest sort of, they're apples and oranges a little bit, but it gives you a way to be like, oh, the same way that cops can be corrupt and you can have a good cop and a bad cop and a good department and a bad department.

00:35:00 - 00:36:12 | Speaker 1:

think it's very similar you mean human beings could be good and bad so but unlike uh masons cops didn't drop off in droves at any point even uh during like the whole um all cops are bad and you know uh like abolish police and everything with the anti-masons though they actually had a huge drop off so after the william morgan affair came out within eight years here's just one example but in uh new york alone they had 227 lodges before william morgan affair and then within eight years that dropped down to only 41 lodges so they lost like 180 lodges over this specific event of the william morgan affair and again it never never recovered masonry has never recovered from that and american politics has changed completely so i props to them for like showing it and i think this is also the only legit re like history channel level reenactment of the morgan affair i've ever seen everything else has just been old crude drawings or like little powerpoint presentations so kudos like they went and hired reenactment and they put on the clothes and they like had people lead them out into the middle of a marsh and drown them like

00:36:12 - 00:36:17 | Speaker 2:

on camera and stuff and everything i thought it was legit that's why i thought like history

00:36:17 - 00:37:26 | Speaker 1:

challenge should have picked this up so that's part one um of this documentary here's part two they could get into the american revolution it's got a bunch of parts to it so strap it we're only we're only a half hour in uh they say that the american revolution used the structure of freemasonry so here's one of those angles where they're saying like okay mason's bad mason's anti-christian bad but structure of freemasonry good and that maybe that we can we can give credit to the structure of freemasonry without giving credit to freemasonry itself because it's satanic and luciferian so my note there was like does this take away from masonic influence at all if the revolutionaries didn't have masonic ideals but we're just following masonic structure i don't know although it's a moot point because the revolutionaries did have masonic ideals they were in the freemasons they did take all of these oaths so it's weird that they're they're kind of pointing like they're nitpicking this little point here yeah they they kind of like uh kernel it and

00:37:26 - 00:38:23 | Speaker 2:

that it's similar i forgot what documentary we were watching i don't know if it was the psyop one um side wars or something like that where they kind of did the same things about the natives where they were like, yeah, dude, their, their, their law is way better than ours. And, but then they just kind of, they kind of blended it. They don't give you the full scope of like, yeah, of course there's good structures in everything that you do. Like there's good things. And it's like people want to kill the messenger. They may say something that is profound, whether they're good or bad people. And that doesn't mean that a bad person or a good person, or depending on what they do, the Thanos theory, right. Of people like, yeah, I think I have to do this and eliminate half the world or i have to put this implication into the structure to really make it go but they want masons to look i i think in this film they kind of do its disservice maybe not i guess it maybe depends on how i looked at it i was looking at like a lot of things they said it is favorable to the masons right they kind of give you to where you're like whoa i guess that's good

00:38:23 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

bro like i'm kind of like the worst hit piece ever because you can tell that they're trying to be critical but then they end up praising the thing that they're being critical of again i i think it adds to the the mystery of this entire so without going through every single mason they mentioned here's the three here's the three that get passes because of their involvement in the american revolution the first one is paul revere which interestingly enough not a lot of people know this they don't bring this up in the documentary i always have to mention this paul revere i believe either owned a print press or knew someone that owned a print press and that there was another person I'm going to make up a name it was like Benjamin Israel or something but this other guy he was like the real uh Paul Revere like he rode his horse like seven times more than Paul Revere did Paul Revere went from like one end of his street to the other end of the street and told like a few neighbors but then he went and published about his story about riding up and down um in his paper so he became the guy that everyone knew and not this other guy maybe also because he was a mason who knows but they say paul revere gets a pass uh he was a mason but he was one of the good ones washington gets a pass because he was one of the good ones uh part of that is that they really hone in on this and they say yeah but he didn't do anything in the lodge for 30 years before his death and i had to look this one up too because again we've got the technology now 20 years later so here's the actual quote was that someone asked about his participation in the masons and he said i have not been to lodge

00:40:00 - 00:40:30 | Speaker 2:

more than once or twice within the last 30 years so it's not that he didn't go at all it's that he only went a couple times but he never said anything disparaging about them he didn't leave masonry it reads more of like i got better things to do than go to like the weekly meetings so anyways it's it's it was weird because of how specific the guys in this documentary are all like yeah yeah he was a mason but he didn't go for those last 30 years man so like you know maybe he wasn't worshiping the devil that's that's sort of the read between the lines right

00:40:30 - 00:40:49 | Speaker 4:

yeah and to be like oh i've only been there a couple times that means he's gone there a couple times a year and then you're also kind of running the country doing a war like living in life i'm sure that even people now that are in in the masons aren't going to every single there's some probably people that go to every single meeting and there's some people that just show up every

00:40:49 - 00:42:25 | Speaker 2:

now and then and there's some people that never have to show up because you only really have to go to lodge three times i mean most likely way more than that in order to get through but you only got to go to get your first degree your second degree and your third degree and after you get your third degree you never have to go to lodge again in your entire life you don't want to it's similar to like you don't have to go to every pta meeting just because you're a parent and a lot of parents don't but you've got some that go every damn time and they want to be you know the secretary of the pta and this one wants to be the director of the pta and you're like same with like hoa right Like you can be in the HOA and never go to an HOA meeting. So I look at it very similar to that. They, the documentary misconstrues it as if him not going means that he was out. It's couldn't be farther from the case. And then they squirm even more because for some reason they decided to be like, and Benjamin Franklin was also one of the good ones, even though he was in the hellfire club that did orgies and devil worship. And they got loaded and they did whatever they wanted. and they did all of these rituals in a cave literally under a church and that the orgies were um described as real and that he talked to this guy dashwood who was like another occult spy master but maybe he was just kind of doing it to be edgy like maybe he wasn't a bad one and it's just like how can you draw this broad brush and like masons are evil except for ben franklin the literal satan worshiping orgy master that had the bot like the the bones of children found under his house right he was one of the good ones yeah he was a good one and i thought that was funny with

00:42:25 - 00:43:20 | Speaker 4:

the i was going to mention the benji um uh the the turncoat himself right uh uh benedict yeah we're because we just watch a documentary not too long ago where they talk about like oh he did it because of money right like in decoded they're like oh money and then i'm like yeah that's like how everything is bro like yeah you guys are friends maybe you know how people are like oh the masons own this now someone may interpret this as see the masons had this side of the war and this side of the war it was all the manufactured style but then when you really read between the lines you're like no they're just people and there's different circumstances where he's like whoa bro i've been seven years like we talked about the last one not getting paid and like i can't buy no more horse i can't get all this booze and get and be a degenerate you're you need to give me my money so i could be a degenerate like i want i want to live on my yacht and have my only fans models just shaking their ass all day and that to me is what really happened

00:43:20 - 00:43:48 | Speaker 2:

in the revolution and yeah that was that was the crux of benedict arnold for sure imagine not getting paid for seven years people calling you a hero but then some brit that comes over and he also gets called an american hero but he's british and he's working for british intelligence and he's got all this money and you're like bro where's where's my paycheck uh i can see i'm not going to say i would throw my country uh to the british but i i definitely have a new appreciation

00:43:48 - 00:44:16 | Speaker 3:

for benedict arnold hello it is ryan and we could all use an extra bright spot in our day couldn't we just to make up for things like sitting in traffic doing the dishes counting your steps you know all the mundane stuff that is why i'm such a big fan of chumba casino chumba casino has all your favorite social casino style games that you can play for free anytime, anywhere with daily bonuses. Part three of this documentary. How many parts do we got here? Okay, five parts. I broke it down into. There's more than that, but there's like five parts. Part three is about Rosicrucianism, and it's also where they get into what a good Christian is and what a bad Christian is and John Dee and magic and all this stuff. So here's the overlying premise of this section is that you've got Mary Tudor versus Elizabeth Tudor, and both of these are their sisters, but they're on opposite ends of the Christian scale. So Mary's the Catholic, and this is Bloody Mary, by the way, and then you've got Queen Elizabeth, who's the Protestant. so she's the good one she gets imprisoned in the Tower of London and while she's in the Tower of London she becomes friends with John D who's kind of like this sort of guy like this occult master that works in the Tower and comes by and sees her imprisoned and they develop a relationship so he works for Queen Mary Bloody Mary to help keep her sister in prison this is like a Disney movie bro so like the evil stepsister keeps her the good stepsister imprisoned in the Tower of London And then the old wizard comes and befriends her and basically teaches her wizardry and introduces her to the work of Edward Kelly and invents this angel magic. And then the angels tell John D to go and criticize the Holy Roman Emperor, Rudolph the second, tell him that he's in his wicked ways. John D does this. He's making new maps of the world. He's doing all this. And then they get into how John D becomes 007. Well, John D as 007 was when he was working for the bad queen, Mary, because he was agent seven and he signed everything with 007, which was supposed to be his glasses, I think, and like him, like his hand over his eyes or something. so the premise of this though is that he's working for the bad bloody mary queen and secretly helping out the good imprisoned princess queen uh elizabeth and that this is what eventually becomes the inspiration for francis bacon william shakespeare manly palmer hall george washington ben franklin and everything after that it all comes from this chance meeting of the wizard and

00:47:07 - 00:47:27 | Speaker 1:

the imprisoned uh princess and then they to me this is where the film starts like saying how freemasonry and rosicrucianism is like merging right like they're like this gang and this gang got together and now they're combined to combining forces to create kevin bacon's great great great

00:47:27 - 00:49:22 | Speaker 2:

great great great great grandfather kind of and then it's hot no one can really be a true expert on all this stuff maybe manly palmer hall but even then he get he gets highly criticized for oversimplifying stuff which i think is maybe the the pro and the con for manly palmer hall like yeah he simplifies it but he makes it approachable so you can at least get some understanding but your understanding might be totally wrong although maybe it's better than no understanding and so francis bacon being the leader of both freemasonry and rosacrucianism is kind of interesting and wild because when the bavarian illuminati comes out uh afterwards like a century after this the the whole premise for that is that rosicrucianism and freemasonry are at odds with each other and that they're also at odds with the bavarian illuminati so they have this like three-way standoff and so it's not like rosicrucian and freemasonry are fully compatible i think part of that is that rosicrucianism does lean into alchemy and spirit magic and literally occult christianism it's the rosy cross the cross where christ is on there might be some tense of like gnosticism and stuff but when you get into freemasonry it is a little bit more agnostic even if you believe that deep down the the people running it are like luciferians or gnastics or whatever there's a good portion of people that are like i just wanted to find a good job i just wanted to have something to do uh i'm retired i wanted something to do on tuesdays like there's a lot of versions of that rosicrucianism i don't think you get someone that just want the they're just dabbling they just wanted to find a job or they just were looking for like a social club with with a cult sort of hints to it like you're getting a completely different read from it so the fact that francis bacon is the leader of both of these things means that it's baconian influence that they share in common not any other things amongst themselves yeah and they stay kind

00:49:22 - 00:49:54 | Speaker 1:

of dabble into like crowley in this like this segment too of where they're like whoa this is where we get into the uh crowley and in freemasonry and i i don't know like maybe i'm off on this this is something i did want to ask you too they kind of like really push that crowley's like a freemason but i didn't think that he was a freemason i thought he was like his own entity and like kind of more because you you hear a lot of like lure of he's a freemason or now he's illuminati but i thought he was more like just alchemy and like practicing like sex cult rituals

00:49:54 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 2:

yeah so what crowley did is he was a freemason at a point but he would join every

00:50:00 - 00:51:27 | Speaker 1:

club that there was if you had a secret society if you had some weird magic group he would join it and he would get he would hang out for long enough to like get some of your members hooked on drugs and like doing horrible things and ruining your reputation and then he bounced but when he bounced he would take all your secrets and incorporate them into some new thing that he made up and he kept doing that over and over again he did that with freemasonry he did that with the order of the golden dawn and then he eventually comes up with like the lama which is kind of like a mishmash of a bunch of different things that he amalgamated from different places so it's accurate to say that he was raised in freemasonry uh but once he left and took their secrets and turned it into his own thing he didn't necessarily consider himself a freemason anymore because that would have been too limiting for him that would have been like like that that would be used still being like yeah i'm a kindergartner like you're not a kid like you were at one point you were a kindergartner but i'm pretty sure you're not now and you wouldn't want to be considered one um so i think like yeah crowley is a freemason the same way that he's still a kindergartner um he kind of like advanced beyond that and incorporated other things that's not a that's not like an ode to crowley that's just that's how that dynamic works so and freemasons i don't think like to include him because he left and he revealed the secrets and he did his own thing so technically he got like kicked out for doing that although i don't think officially

00:51:27 - 00:51:33 | Speaker 2:

he got 86 Aleister Crowley got 86 for the Freemasons under the docks

00:51:33 - 00:52:05 | Speaker 1:

it totally would have been one of those you're fired it's like you can't fire me or vice versa it's like hey guys I quit like you can't quit you're fired you know so part four this gets into one of my also favorite conspiracies although it's like it's more nerdy this is one you can bring up at a table and no one will be offended although they'll be like look at this nerd you know like nerd so this is francis bacon was william shakespeare uh have you ever heard this before i i have heard

00:52:05 - 00:52:08 | Speaker 2:

like a little like i think i might have heard it on one of the podcasts like i didn't like

00:52:08 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 1:

go into detail impression before this movie when you heard that like like some someone else was

00:52:14 - 00:53:04 | Speaker 2:

william shakespeare what i don't think i heard specifically that francis bacon was of shakespeare was like a like yeah that basically he was a had a ghostwriter and he was a fraud and i was like okay yeah that sounds kind of easy to interpret because i'm like yeah there's ghost writers nowadays right like if you go to a beyonce song you're gonna see like 13 writers and 15 composers like so it wasn't that far-fetched to me like seeing that there's some guy that's the face of it and some guys in the background like uh writing all the stories now this gave it a different layer right this is not the same layer of what i had heard it's more that like shakespeare's a fraud and people wrote his stuff and i'm like okay that's kind of happens today right with music or even movies i mean disney's ripped off a lot of people so this premise was actually

00:53:04 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 1:

popularized by a direct relative i believe another bacon uh in like the 1800s or something and she wrote about this francis bacon being the true author of all the shakespearean works and then manly palmer hall in his new atlantis or sorry in a secret destiny of america he repeats this and also in his biggest book which is secret teachings of all ages even has like a special little uh onion skin page that it's got like francis bacon that lays on top of shakespeare so you can see they even kind of like looked similar in ways the the premise was that francis bacon had all this insider knowledge about politics and inner fightings between real like families and you know like the true god so they were like a tmz style for all the elite families francis bacon had that level of insight but he couldn't come out and start writing all this stuff like by francis bacon for obvious reasons so so part of this conspiracy theory is that they find william shakespeare and they're like this is the guy like what like he's a he's already in this acting world he's got some acting shops people he's kind of like a mid celebrity we'll just say that he's going to be the playwright and we'll pump all these different works through him and he can put his name on it and he gets maybe something in exchange for this who knows but he gets to be the face of this whole thing they hire him as like the jared of subway maybe a horrible reference so william shakespeare becomes the face of francis bacon and this rosicrucian freemasonic new set of ideals and then in the background in order to bolster why this could have been possible i hadn't heard that i mean i've seen the documentary before i forgot they mentioned this but that francis bacon they claim had his own secret printing press and during his lifetime, he personally raised his own money and spent

00:55:00 - 00:55:31 | Speaker 2:

his own money to have over 2 000 of classic works from greece and rome and just every different language all of the classics he paid to have translated into english and have made available at cheap prices all throughout europe in order to prepare people for this next new atlantis that he was prepping people like i need to create this new reality where everyone's smarter and we advance and we get new technology that he specifically sat down in order to orchestrate all that uh what

00:55:31 - 00:56:03 | Speaker 3:

do you what do you think about that concept i thought that i could understand because it's like kind of like what they do through the media nowadays right like we're gonna soft blow you like like a good version yeah but a good version like of what like here's some history that people don't know about but also i thought it was interesting how they they said that he had like a crew of writers right like they were like he's not the only one writing this stuff that he has staff of like i think they said like 200 or multiple like writers that were putting this together and also they were like and shakespeare was illiterate like that was one of my

00:56:03 - 00:56:14 | Speaker 2:

signature and it's like he couldn't he could barely write his own name and you're saying that he wrote all of these classic works yeah and then they have that like and then their other

00:56:14 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 3:

real big claim is there's like a photo of him where he has a piece of paper and there's nothing on the paper and they're like that signifies that he hasn't written anything and like i i think it i i don't think it's as far-fetched as this claim like again it's hard how we're gonna prove it right i don't know if i can necessarily prove to somebody but it's believable to me that why would they put a front man to be like hey let's put out our agenda propaganda is not just negative necessarily right like it's like hey i want to push you into a direction that i think we should go forward and to

influence people and then the the other thing that this documentary really hones in on for this francis bacon shakespeare thing was these secret cipher codes that show up all over the place and one of the more obvious examples of these is that francis bacon would have a light a and a dark a at the header of some of his pages and it was just like these random symbols and these are explained as the light a being apollo the god of light and that the dark a represented athena which was basically the consort of apollo um but that whenever you would see the aa it stood for apollo and athena and that both of them shared the fact that they had these spears and they represented wisdom and that more specifically athena had a helmet that represented like being secretive and that she had a spear and that she would shake her spear at you if you were ignorant so it was a way of like humbling oneself is that if you approach athena and you said something dumb she'd shake her spear at you so the entire premise of william shakespeare was that this was francis bacon's way of having athena shake her spear at all of humanity for being ignorant and kind of like pushing them and edging them towards being this new atlantis through

00:59:47 - 00:59:53 | Speaker 3:

reading more books so i don't know when i heard that it kind of gave me a jordan maxwell feel

00:59:53 - 00:59:55 | Speaker 2:

100% Jordan Maxwell, yeah.

00:59:55 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 3:

You know where this means that, but it actually means this. I felt...

01:00:00 - 01:00:14 | Speaker 2:

the connection i'm like and then seeing around the time this dropped 2006 you're like this is a hotbed of jordan maxwell time like i know he's been around for longer than that but that was a hotbed the like you know late 90s to that mid 2000s it was like jordan maxwell was everywhere

01:00:14 - 01:01:45 | Speaker 1:

it's it's one of those funny things though too because now that south park has riffed on it enough it's like william shakespeare athena shakes her spear aries spears britney spears aries is a sign britney's is in a horoscope so it's like you can just like keep uh mentioning words that rhyme or sound with each other forever and i'll listen to you forever because it's like one of my favorite schizo conspiracy themes uh okay the last section we've made it to the fifth part that i again they don't necessarily label all these and number them all but the last part of this documentary is about knights templar and rosalind chapel in scotland so if you haven't heard about this one this one is sort of a summary without getting into the weeds on holy blood holy grail theories where ancient families and dynasties and in this documentary it's the freemasons but they eventually dovetail into the knights templar and when the knights templar gets taken out then they get reabsorbed back into freemasonry that's sort of the premise and with rosalind chapel being an example that the knights templar and by proxy the freemasons and rosicrucians going forward but ultimately the knights templar knew about the new americas because they have um carvings of plants that only exist in america yeah and in the house could you know right uh the knights of

01:01:45 - 01:02:40 | Speaker 2:

templar are interesting to me though like how they even talk about them as like they're kind of a pillar in the community of like the branches of each uh secret society almost right they're like i know they're not the original but it's like the mainstream original like the blockbuster like the knights of templar right i know there's many other secret societies but to me every time i hear them i feel like the mainstream feels like they're like the rock stars the original rock stars that they're like yeah if there wasn't for the knights templar and they go into how they kind of like took over the treasury and that's where i go everything you're like okay so now they have all the money and it just breaks it down to like yeah whoever has the money is in control or who has the most power and the most region and it's constantly instead of just saying oh it's the freemasons it's the jews it's the illuminati it's like yeah no it's these guys that have more money and power than you and they're like we should do it this way we're gonna call ourselves this now

01:02:40 - 01:05:22 | Speaker 1:

yeah uh so i mean the documentary does not get into the weeds on this i'll get a little bit into the weed just because this is a pretty big claim and again there's a lot of specific claims they make like the the anti or the ex-illuminati luciferian high level druid priest whatever william schlazingler whatever um he's basically talking about how the the knights templar is connected to the freemasons and there's this like 3 000 year old connection that even predates any of this so this is actually what gave birth to the bavarian illuminati was some of this contention over whether or not the knights templar uh directly related to the freemasons because in the 1700s there was a group of freemasons that fully believed it and they made that their identity right imagine someone showing up all the time and they've got like the knights templar shirt and they got like Knights Templar tattoos and they're like hey bro did you ever do you ever hear that like you know I used to be a Knights Templar like it was like 400 years ago but I was a I was a Templar my great great great grandpa was a Templar and like people holding on to this identity and the more people try and look into this and try and find okay what are the actual connections it became harder and harder to prove to the point in the late 1700s there was an internal bat like a like a civil war almost within freemasonry between people that were like yes we came from the knights templar and then people that were like stop saying that put down the sword and the shield you're role-playing like no one no one's a knight no one's a templar knight you can't prove any of that it's fun to talk about but it's not true and eventually freemasonry as a whole in europe we're like no more knights templar crap like no you're not allowed to mention it we're not going to have any Knights Templar degrees. It's all gone now. And when that happened, it left all these guys that like, but I bought this sword or this shield that I feel so that I got these tattoos and I've made it my whole identity. The Bavarian Illuminati was able to scoop them up because the Bavarian Illuminati was like, Hey guys, like we got a Knights Templar degree. You can role play with us. And that was an easy sell for them. So the, the claim in this documentary, they state it matter of fact. It's like, Oh yeah, everybody knows the Knights Templar and then Freemasonry. And it's like it's way more nuanced than that and even within masonry like like masonry as a whole has kind of rejected that although now in the 20th century and 21st century you do have the york right degrees within blue lodge masonry so it gets a little bit complicated but the way that they phrase it in here it's like it's a known stated fact when and really it's highly highly contested and isn't some of that also beefing over like you

01:05:22 - 01:05:42 | Speaker 3:

know like the crusades and the catholic and the different christianity sections how like in that time everything branched different branched off because I remember that there was some documentaries that they were talking about Freemasons and Knights of Templar were like enemies so it's like that threw me off a little bit like I think there is like so much that I don't know personally I think

01:05:42 - 01:07:04 | Speaker 1:

and I'm not an expert but I think that they do not overlap that by the time the Knights Templar had been squashed out Friday the 13th and Jacques de Molay and all that stuff Freemasonry as it's known today at the earliest might have been around in like the late 1600s or 1700s but there were also it fell and then it rose again under the same name but like a new leader and all that stuff that happened a few times and i think the last big resurgence was in the 1800s so to try and tie things that were happening in the 12th century and in the early 15th century to the 17th century and 18th century like it's almost like one of those um missing link arguments where it's like where's where's the monkey in between humans and the chimpanzee then you know show me where where's the middle point like there's no middle point that's easy to point to that directly ties knights templar to freemasons other than freemasons adopted knights templar symbolism and i think after you role play for a few centuries some people are like of course i'm Knights Templar. I got this shield. You know, why else would I have the sword? Hidden treasure overboard moments. I'm going to let you go.

01:07:51 - 01:09:02 | Speaker 3:

i'm gonna take a break i would say that the whole film does have hidden treasure to me because there's so much like i really liked and enjoyed uh the francis bacon stuff i knew a little bit about it but i mean they really put him as at towards like when you get to the like midpoint or a little bit past that they really hone in on him and that like his influence from their perspective is vast right like he's connected and everything he's connecting the freemasons and the rosicrucianism and um the shakespeare stuff and that he's into politics he's in so it's like in their eyes that uh he had so much not just power and control but influence and and i never thought of it like that and then they do in my opinion they make a compelling case where i'm like i can see that right like i don't know if it's for sure true but to see that like the the john d connection to the bloody mary to the francis uh a bacon i like that i thought that was a really good hidden treasure for me where it uh i never knew how much influence one person can have but i i understand they can but in in history context it kind of brings it to that

01:09:02 - 01:10:24 | Speaker 1:

level to me yeah i guess being the head of freemasons and rosicrucians at the same time at a certain point in history that actually meant something i don't know if you could pull the same thing off in 2026 if you're the head of the rosicrucians and the head of the freemates that sounds more of like a headache right like you just manage two different big ymcas or something i think that also this documentary it's long but it does a great job of being thorough and so much of it is original footage they go to rosalind chapel they interview um they go to the the william shakespeare league or whatever and talk to the guy and the guy's a little bit sassy with them he's like what do you mean francis bacon wrote all of shakespeare maybe shakespeare wrote all francis bacon did you ever think about that like he kind of gets offended so i love that i love that all of their footage is original they get original footage in washington the the freaking reenactments that they're doing all the historical stuff this has and every look of a well-produced history channel style documentary, other than the weird like Christian angle that they push on and like the weird anti Mason put like the conspiratorial angle here and there. It's like, Hmm, something about this isn't quite history channel. Those are the only real things, but everything else, this could just be on prime time. And I think you wouldn't really notice it. It would be loaded with like Hyundai commercials. No problem.

01:10:24 - 01:11:10 | Speaker 2:

Easy. That's what I, the whole time watching. And you're like, this is a docuseries right here, right? you break it all up man they can make money now obviously like their angles maybe not in line with history channel i think some of the overboard stuff for me like because there's so much hidden treasure especially some of this stuff i did not know about i haven't watched this stuff so it filled in a lot of blanks for me uh where i'm like oh i didn't know that like the uh i think the overboard not that's bad or anything just be be nitpicky i think like where they honed in on the uh the national treasure like really being like this point of like this rebirth almost of the freemasonry right like they're like since that movie now they're they're back like right like they didn't say that necessarily but that's what i kind of got from the feel of it that's probably

01:11:10 - 01:12:55 | Speaker 1:

my overboard moment well you mentioned that movie caused a tiny spike but that spike did not turn into a new trajectory so when this documentary came out that movie was brand new that was like a fairly zeitgeisty kind of movie not the zeitgeisty documentary but like actually like people knew about it nick cage i think disney was like behind it so it was mainstream masonry and i think when they added that segment to this documentary it was like this this is the start of something brand new like mason's gonna explode in population after this and that never happened so now you watch this and you're just like why did they dedicate 15 minutes of this documentary to national treasure like i think i might have seen that 20 years ago but like who cares about that movie i think when this came out they weren't thinking about it that way and maybe it was smart because it might have gotten people that were interested in national treasure to be like oh there's there's something more to it so it was a great marketing technique 20 years ago uh but it definitely dates this so i don't know if it's overboard i guess yeah i guess it is overboard because like who cares that the national treasure movie had this there's been other ones since then the other here's another overboard one is that bill still actually says that uh when they're talking about the decline in nationary after the morgan affair he's like and you know maybe some of my books have also contributed to this you know this national decline and i mean i love bill still bro i love money masters he is like such an og but it did seem like he's maybe sniffing his own farts a little bit to be like i'm personally responsible for a national decline in freemasonry because of the books that i've written he's like daryl davis of freemasonry

01:12:55 - 01:13:04 | Speaker 2:

right he was like yeah i shut down three lodges in maryland um the other thing i just have to say

01:13:04 - 01:14:53 | Speaker 1:

this the ley lines thing i don't want to be closed-minded um i i'm open to the idea that there could be anomalies and patterns and like energy and all this stuff but usually when ley lines come up it's someone that dropped out in seventh grade and they went and they started making their own hemp bracelets and they're you know like like worshiping pyramid crystals and stuff and talking about how the way science feels is more important than like you know the grades they got or whatever it just has this this weird non-tangible like you don't have to define exactly what a ley line is here here's what they claim in the documentary great circles lines of power currents of power magical significance portals for spirits to travel to and from monuments uh i mean can we quantify any of that i don't know and the reason why i get a little bit annoyed on this is that it sounds like something that would be so important if ley lines were really like this objectively real we should be building everything on ley lines we should make sure mcdonald's aren't getting built on ley lines we should like put i don't know what we should be doing with them we should be doing something with them and if they're really true and and that valuable then why isn't there like a coordinated effort of everyone like let's get to the bottom of this ley line thing once and for all how much energy how do we measure it and you see a lot of like the videos and stuff that'll pop up on youtube but it's like someone pulls up in like their kia and they took like a long weekend off of work at the call center and now they're going to prove the portals exist and then they go back to you know their job on monday it's like i i don't know i want to i want to see someone give it more attention than just mentioning it as a funny little novelty if it's real it's real and it's not real it's not real and who's bootleg someone

01:14:53 - 01:15:53 | Speaker 2:

should be bootlegging it right if there's power source like there should be some guy like yeah I run my generators off the lay lines. Like. That's the claim, though, is that it's Washington doing this and that it's all of these elites and Freemasons that know about the ley lines. And they're the ones putting all of these monuments and all these buildings on these ley lines to harness that power somehow. But it's not actually running the electric. Like, they still have to pay electric bills, I assume. So, like, what is the quantifiable thing, right? What is it that makes it special? all right before we do a complete sink or swim i just want to announce some maybe awards maybe we can give documentaries awards once in a while so this one i feel wins the award for the longest title that we've reviewed so far the whole title again was secret mysteries of america's beginnings volume one the new atlantis and i believe there was even more after that but that's as long as i

01:15:53 - 01:16:03 | Speaker 1:

felt like typing out i don't know if that's even and that may do the maximum characters on twitter as well right like i don't know if we can even put that in a tweet oh just do something click

01:16:03 - 01:16:09 | Speaker 2:

baity anyways like did say did satan rule america did ben benjamin franklin use orgy magic to

01:16:09 - 01:17:32 | Speaker 1:

control america benjamin franklin and george washington in the mason lodge of orgies in hellfire so sink or swim this film uh as they get a little bit like back and forth they can't decide if they like masons or hate masons there is a lot of information in here that i enjoyed that i'm like okay i get it like people are masons and and that i kind of got took that element out of it i love the quality of it i really thought they captured not just even even just the interview scenes of like putting it together that it's something that I thought I could watch on television easily and not even blink an eye I also liked the fact that they broke out stuff and tried their best to show the receipts and where they got it from there's some stuff that got wrong and doesn't hold to the test of time because I mean it was in 2006 it's easy for me to be critical on it because it's 20 years later right I can point out the flaws but I really give this a swim I think this is a great film i would suggest this to people i understand that not everybody could get through two hours and 45 minutes but for me it's something that you're going to come back and go wow there's a lot of information if you look at these films like this you don't have to look at exactly through their perspective but take the information as it comes out and i thought it's well put together i think

01:17:32 - 01:19:40 | Speaker 2:

this is one of those documentaries too that even if you're the one that made the documentary or wrote it or you were in the documentary you could watch this 10 years later and be like oh i didn't know that and like we mean you didn't know that like this is your thing but there's just it's jam-packed with so much of this i think that it's probably one of the more spectacular breakdowns of freemasonry washington dc the hellfire club francis bacon they break down the 47th proposition of euclid which is a very niche occult topic pythagorean theorem they have a reenactment of the william morgan affair the only weird thing is that the movie has this this crazy obsession with these christian purity tests like every time they bring somebody up it's almost like they have to be like now let's talk about if they were a real christian or not they don't tell you what a real christian is you only have to infer that when they talk about um bloody mary versus queen elizabeth but they don't really mention as much that that it's like an evil queen versus a good queen it's more like the catholic queen versus the protestant queen in a way so then so then later you're like okay so when you're saying were they a real christian or not we're saying were they a protestant or not again it's it takes a backseat it's subtle enough that maybe you won't notice it but it they mention it more than a few times and you can clearly tell that they're trying to paint groups in either a good light or a bad light but they're not specific enough about it at any point where like you know for sure like okay that's a good guy that's a bad guy they just kind of like kick a little bit of mud up um aside from all that i can easily turn that off ignore that i can like turn that switch off like whatever you got your bias i'm gonna pay attention to the parts that seem objective and by doing that there's absolutely no flaw in this uh documentary i've complained about the ley lines thing and some of the other claims but honestly those claims and the way they make it like so matter of fact it makes this like a history channel style documentary that just happens to be about some really important and truly like american conspiracy stuff and if you
