Hey, guys. This is Jen in Bellingham, and I was just listening to your episode and poor Andrew and your keyboard on your Dell. So I was reminded of a core memory, which you guys should remember, memories don't necessarily have a point or a story arc, but I have to tell you anyway. So it's 2001, and my husband and I are shiny little babies, and we buy our first laptop, and we're super excited because we can make compilation CDs. So we used to have, like, the whole, like, setup, right? Like, multiple devices to make compilation CDs. And it was my husband's dream to have a laptop so he could make compilation CDs for his friends. Anyway, so we get this. And we're also, like, students, right? So we have no money. So we get this Dell. And it is so janky. And we, between, it's like totally fine, but then between some songs, it goes, and so that's not okay, right? So we call Del, and my 11 calls Del, I don't even know how many times, and he gets a sympathetic person to actually send him a new CD-ROM drive. And we were waiting for like weeks, and it never shows up. And so finally he calls back, I'm telling you, like, it's a secret. And finally he calls and gets a hold of someone, and they're like, yeah, we canceled that order. You're not going to get a new drive. And, of course, Rob's livid.
