yes that actually sounds similar to so anyway and also not only is water pouring out of the top of this thing but you know below the sink where tubes are like kind of secured with um uh what do you call them hose clamps and everything it's also just leaking at these little intersections as well so they clearly like like the thing said there's a blockage somewhere but i thought it was going to be a little blockage that i was gonna have to track down it was causing a little bit of leaking but no it was a this turned into the bellagio fountain literally a major disaster um And so I've never brought my laptop upstairs. Clearly this is not an evening where I'm going to be, you know, typing out some work while I wait for a small leak under the sink. Suddenly it's just like you say, yeah, it's like it's a water fountain in my kitchen. So we grab some towels. We're cleaning up. Genevieve's there with me. And I'm just like, whoa, whoa, we definitely have a blockage somewhere. We, you know, I don't know much about plumbing, but I do know some of this stuff, especially with drainage. It's it makes sense. It's all physics, right? And I was even thinking later, it's a lot like an audio chain. Like, and I love troubleshooting. You know that, Luke. But you're kind of like, okay, well, I know that this device is making the sound. I can hear it. But when I plug it in, it doesn't seem to make it to that device. Oh, it does make it to, like, you know, an audio chain. You're just trying to track down where is the audio stopping between devices and then troubleshooting that area. And drainage is essentially the same thing. Like, somewhere there's a blockage. And so I go back to the homeowner's report and it says, yeah, there's probably a blockage in the in the drain line for the dishwasher. I'm like, well, if it's. Pouring out of this thing at the top of my sink, the blockage is clearly not between the dishwasher and this thing, right? It has to come somewhere further down the chain. So little by little, Aviz and I are just taking apart everything, right? I take out all the P-traps. I take out everything that is like kind of the drainage of the sink. It's all clear. And in fact, that's even suspicious to me. And then I'm looking at the garbage disposal we have, and I'm like, this is a brand-new garbage disposal. My guess is, again, this was a rental unit. My guess is they probably had a garbage disposal in this unit forever that didn't work, probably, and they just told the people not to, the renters not to use it, and they probably quickly swapped it out before they put the house on the market, right? That's just my guess. Because as I'm looking at the garbage disposal unit itself, it's very clean. It's very new. All of the tubes hooking up to it, or I guess the one tube hooking up to it, is clearly brand new. And I'm telling Veves, I'm like, it makes sense that the blockage would be, you know, further down the chain here. But I'm looking at these tubes and they look new. I guess I'll take them off, but I'm not super, you know, hopeful that we're going to find a blockage there. But so little by little, I'm taking tubes apart. This thing that's on top of the sink, as I'm describing it, and as I mentioned before, it's actually called an air vent and it's not supposed to shoot water out of it. It's just supposed to allow some air as the thing drains. So I take that tube off. I take another tube off.
