And she feels like this is her home, too. You can just tell, like, she's got her little spots and she's happy. And the idea of bringing a dog into the house with this cat who's finally feeling comfortable and at home kind of broke my heart a little bit on her behalf. And so Vives and I have been talking about that. Vives feels similarly. And so we started talking maybe about getting a new kitten instead and just staying as a cat family. And I think that's where we've been for maybe the past couple of weeks. And then yesterday, apparently Genevieve was on like Craigslist or something, just flipping through cat pictures or cat listings as she's wanting to do. And for some reason, the algorithm, there's a glitch in the matrix and a dog popped in there, right? So it's already feeling like that dog, right? And one thing that Vives and I have talked about is if we ever do get a dog, maybe we don't get a puppy dog because puppies are an incredible amount of work. I don't know that I – I've never had a dog before, so I'm not sure that I have the patience and the skills to train a dog the way my favorite dogs are trained. Like you can see a good dog and a bad dog so plainly, right? And it's the people who just like are so patient and do all of the work that needs to be done. I don't know. I don't know, man. I could get lazy. So anyway, we've been saying, well, maybe a more mature dog. Maybe somewhere out there there's a dog that's a few years old or something, and that would be maybe more our speed. Well, this dog that just, like, randomly pops into Genevieve's cat feed for some reason is a dog that is, like, six years old, is, like, its previous family had to move out of the country and couldn't take the dog Roscoe, by the way. Solid name. Yes, and it's a little pit mix, which is, like, totally our kind of dog. Like, we love those pits and kind of the shape of their heads. Like, that's just what melts us. So it's like just ticking all these boxes. Like, pit mix, relatively small. Name is Roscoe. I love that. Genevieve, I guess, not so big on it. But also, this is the important part, is apparently really good with cats. And then apparently is dog selective, they say. Like, gets along really well with some dogs and doesn't with other dogs.
