Yeah. And he said that, too, in another text that's mentioned in the piece about his loneliness. And it's like, same thing. And I'm not complaining, I'm really not trying to complain, but there's a weird loneliness to business travel, like the kind that he did a ton of and that I do a fair amount of, where you're just in a different shuttle van, you're checking into a different hotel lobby, you're standing in line at a different Avis, and then you go and you see people and you interview them and they point cameras at you and there's this kind of moment of whatever shared experience, but there's just so much time when you're just on your own. And you're just, it can be a very, and we have a lot of listeners who travel for work. It can be a very lonely thing. And yet you're also, in the case of Anthony Bourdain, this very famous person. And that's another thing that people talk about, you know, how lonely fame can be. So I guess, ultimately, here's what I take away from this whole thing. For people who are fans of Anthony Bourdain's, as I very much am, nothing that they mention in that article makes me think any less of him. like so that's what i'm kind of hoping is the takeaway for i think the people that really love this guy and really admired him and his way of being in the world i don't think any of those people are going to be like well maybe i had this guy read wrong you know like it kind of seems to me like this you know he he took his own life he clearly he was struggling i guess now we have some of the details of his struggle um but it certainly doesn't diminish him in my mind at all and i'm also not going to buy the book even though i'm low-key curious because again i'm such a fan of his i was such a fan of his work that i want to know more about him in the way that somebody who's a big fan of elvis or something wants to kind of know the details of their life but i'm also not going to buy the book because i kind of feel like i let me i'd let just let the guy rest in peace yeah all right these better be some goddamn upbeat songs andrew every time we do a death dedication it's coming out actually maybe mine maybe mine would be um
